Authentic Puerto Rican Food. People are very friendly. I have been here many times never disappointed.
Tacos were superb! Glad I stopped in to try it out! Homemade salsa is sooo tasty!!!
Delicious food! Mofongo was so good. Service great...very friendly.
Their food is so good and the folks who work there are always so sweet.
Best food in the area! Perfect and delicious! Everytime!
everyone had to go is the best spanish food ever omg mmmm
Favorite place to eat best Spanish food around this area in a long time if not ever
116th street Cuchifrito style Alcapurrias in El Barrio NYC, nuff said! Superb!
The food is Amazing! Great family! Awesome portions! Seriously a hidden GEM here in Endicott. A MUST TRY.. you won't be disappointed.
Amazing value. You want to eat out and not break your wallet? These guys fed me a hefty meal for only $6.50! Incredible. Support local
Food is good and authentic, they have large portions as well!
Delicious food, great portions, friendly. Well worth your patronage. Loved the empanadas!
Delicious every time. Friendly service, and try the green hot sauce!! Pork is the best I’ve had in Binghamton.
Food is real good, great prices.
Amazing food. The Cuban sandwich is the best thing in the world.
The only negative I have is the lack of parking. The interior could use some upgrades but still needs to keep their 'homey' atmosphere.
Good food with more than fair prices. Their Pernil (Spanish roast port) is delicious and would recommend
This food is so delicious and the service is friendly. I’m so happy to have a place like this so close to home.
This place rocks! The food is amazing
Greatest place I've seen. Great food, good customer service and great price. I spend a hundred bucks everytime.
The most authentic Puerto Rican food around. I drive from Montrose PA for their food. Absolutely delicious! Thank you!
Love the pernil with salsa. Just as good as my dad makes. He likes their chicken and soup as well.
My favorite restaurant to go to, it is pricey but for the amount it’s worth it. If your looking for authentic NYC Spanish food this is the place to go !
Great PR food, nice customer service, good price I gonna make that place my new home to breakfast, lunch or dinner.
As usual the food was great . Nice authentic family owned and operated restaurant. Hidden gem in endicott.
We ordered through GrubHub and it's our first time... absolutely delicious food
The food is usually good here but there's no real competition to compare to. Looking for Latin eat in this is the spot.
Food is amazing was just there and got mad stuff to try and it was all worth it only thing I can say is add more meat to the meals besides that I was drooling and damn near crying as I was eating it at the shear joy of the food definitely will be telling all my friends
Great food at great prices. Get the roast pork with beans and rice. Or go off menu and ask for alcapurrias.
The food here is amazing! I live in the middle of nowhere where so when I come to a big town I get to explore restaurants and this little shop did not disappoint. Thanks for making my lunch so great!!
The aroma welcomes you as soon as the door opens! It's very authentic and delicious food! Great service, always friendly and attentive! I recommend anyone looking for great Puerto Rican food and recipes to check this place out! I absolutely love the atmosphere and vibe!💯🤌🏿👌🏿
We ordered the beef stew and roasted pork and both were absolutely fabulous! The prices were very reasonable, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great! We plan on visiting this restaurant very often in the future. We feel like we discovered a hidden jewel in our community.
Fresh and well cooked. Great taste. Season to profection. Worth the Price. Ii come from Towanda PA. Been here as eat in customer And take out customer.
Food here is just superb. I spent part of the last two winters in Puerto Rico and I didn’t find a restaurant with food even half as good as this ❤️ The empanadas are to die for !
Authentic and delicious Puerto Rican food, a gem for this area. Pasteles were awesome, Carne guisada con tostones was spot on and my husband had the mofongo con pernil with rice and beans--everything was so good!! They even have relleno de papas!! You can eat really well at a very reasonable price too!
Fantastic little Puerto Rican spot in Endicott. The while family got filled up on plates of yellow rice, pinto and black beans, and stewed pork and chicken. My son ate three empanadas and wanted more. Delicioso!!!
I've tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is delicious. They also have things like chicken nuggets and French fries for the picky eater in your life
Place is legit! I had the Cuban sandwich. Good bread, good pork. They know what they're doing. Salchipapa was also done right! Will order again!
2 empanadas and fried plantains for cheaper than fast food! Very very tasty way to support local business. I went during COVID times and there is no dining in, but everything was ready to go and social distance friendly.
It was absolutely delicious! And the rellena and alcapurias were huge! The food arrived quickly and nice and hot. I'll definitely order from here again
Great little Puerto Rican food place. Food is very authentic and tastes like the island. Reneos were dead on. Beans and rice were great. I always go for the roast pork. Very moist and falls apart
Love this place! Very nice staff and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend
One of the best Spanish places I've been to in a while. Decent pricing, amazing food, and staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back
The pork is so good I couldn’t stop eating it because my favorite part was a skin. It was juicy inside and crispy outside and I also like the chicken I would recommend you guys tries the pork and chicken.
The Beef Empanadas are wonderful 😋, the servers were very nice
Great food and atmosphere, the perneil, rice and beans, plantains all to die for HMMMM!!!!
Family-run business w/ EXCELLENT, AUTHENTIC Puerto Rican food & very reasonable prices!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the beef & cheese empanadas & any of the following w/ yellow rice & beans: steak, pernil (pork shoulder), chicken on the bone, or beef stew. The fried chicken cutlet sandwich is also EXCELLENT!! The ox tail is PHENOMENAL - EXCELLENT flavor & the meat slides right off the bone!!!
Been wanting to check out La Isla for a while and I'm glad I finally did. I was recommended the roast pork with one of my meals and boy did it not disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful and the crispy skin was heavenly! Rice and beans were on point and the beef & cheese empanada was great. They know what they're doing and I'll definitely be stopping by again to explore their menu further.
The chicken tacos are amazing. My son and I really enjoyed them as well as a beef and cheese empanada today. Really looking forward to trying other menu items very soon. We spent the same as we would have at McDonalds and got authentic home made food instead. Also extremely friendly
Plate was packed with delicious pernil, rice , beans and plantains. Skin was really crispy but not too oily. Strawberry cheese tres leches was amazing as well. Also got a beef and cheese empanada which was gigantic and stuffed with filling. 3 bucks is a steal for that.
I had forgotten how good their food is!! I got 2 chicken and 2 beef empanadas, perfectly flavorful, crispy, and stuffed full of meat. I also got the small dinner with beef stew - tasty and quite filling even though it looks tiny. The prices are very *very* reasonable for the quality of the food. Reminds me of empanadas I used to get weekly in Harlem, but slightly bigger and with a better dough. Highly recommend. Great place for quick pickup (15 minutes max on a Friday night for me) and an affordable at-home dinner date. This place is mainly counter service, not table service, although they have plenty of seating in a simple space. I'll 100% be back more often now that they're back on my radar.
I get food here frequently and it's high time I did a review. Somehow La Isla manages to exceed my expectation each and every time I order, the food is great, and I highly suggest getting a roasted pork meal. The food is amazing, they have the best beef and cheese empanada in town.
Great service and the food was amazing. Steak tacos perfectly seasoned and tender. Bring the family it's a good meal
The food is amazing, and so are the prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am glad my friend recommended this place to me. i will be back for sure!
Love the Spanish for they got..omg so good..now they got beer 🍺 and wine 🍷..yes love it need a wine of cup or two..need to check it out..good people 😀 and delicious food ..yummy 😋 😀

Ordered the small dinner plate with roasted pork (pernil) & Oreo tres leches from door dash. The box for the small was smaller than I thought it’d be but they packed it with a lot of food. I was actually full from eating half. Def get the homemade hot sauce. You can tell this food is made with love.
So my husband is from ROC and we have been looking for empanadas (he's super picky) for a while now.. Well I got a hankering for chicharon and looked up this establishment. We stopped by last night 11/6 we were immediately greeted by a friendly face. I was a little disappointed no chicharron they had sold out for the day but my husband got two beef and cheese empanadas and we got a piece of tres leches cake.. My husband said the empanadas were like nothing he has ever had before they were so delicious he was going back for more next time he will get 4 The tres was moist and flavorful.. we will definitely be going back 10/10 highly recommend.
Absolutely The Best Spanish Flavors! Small, Medium, & Large Sizes. All Good Portions. So many too choose from. Other delightful 🙂 choices. Please Stop By And Try. You won't be let down.
Great Food. Great ppl. Great Prices. Spanish food ... Pork shoulder... Sweet plantains... Rice... Brand. Different types of meats in sauce and out of sauce. Must Try.
The food is always amazing and consistent!!! I make it a point to go here every time I’m in town. The flavors and decor are spot on and as close to being in Puerto Rico as you can get! If your looking for authentic Puerto Rican food at a fair price, this is the place to go
Very good food! Definitely returning in the near future. The owner took the time to chat with us, and made sure we were happy with our meal. Highly recommend!
Went to grab some lunch and let's just say ill be back. I had the baked chicken white rice with red beans and plantains.

Real Mexican home cooking... Empanadas, roast pork, beef in sauce, roasted chicken, flan and horchata
Roasted pork is the best deal with toasted cuerito. Alcapurrias we're ok but too much masa doesn't allow to come crispier as it should be.
Nice little restaurant. Food was good. The lady in the front counter was super friendly. Will definitely come again.
Love authentic food and this sure tastes like it! Puerto Rican food. Great find in the area since food options are limited. Support your local small businesses! I bought the medium steak and onions with rice and beans option I didn’t see the specials that I see on the photos here, unsure if they still exist, I was not told of any during my visit.
La Isla is a great spot for authentic Puerto Rican / Dominican cuisine. The food is consistently good, generous portions and fair prices. Don’t let the bleak ambience deter you, the dining area is clean, the owners friendly, and the food delicious.
I was frantically searching for a place with good South American food in the area. It's incredibly hard to find a place that has decent south American food. I'm Peruvian and miss the homemade food, and I'm so grateful to have found this place. To clarify this isn't a Peruvian restaurant, but it still has delicious food. From the entrees to the empanadas they are heaven. Are there better places in other cities? Yes, but come on ppl, we're smack dab in Central NY! I'm not going anywhere else for Latin food. This place has me as a loyal customer so long as I'm here. The only, only reason I deducted a star was because the flan tasted more eggy than I'm used to, but that's it. You just gotta come here and try their food, so so good.
Reminds me of the Bronx except a couple of times the yellow rice has been hard and black beans tasted burnt. Also I would to try the chicken but it’s only quarter legs and it makes me not want to try the chicken stew. But other than that I will go back again.
Limited menu but the food is very good. Friendly service. Several tables stacked with dirty dishes.
Only time I go there to buy oxtails me and my wife, sometimes its good sometimes they not. I think it's just too many cooks there, because all Cooks don't cook the same
Food was good, service was on the slower side, newer restaurant trying to establish itself. They will get there. Great food truck on Washington and Main Street, Endicott.
Ordered through grubhub. Food was okay. Ordered oxtails with rice and beans. It wasn't all that good to me. Food was mediocre. I wouldn't order from here again. $17.00 for 5 oxtails and soggy rice and beans were not worth it.
IF your looking for a. Very pleasant place to eat this is one of them. I stopped in this place at least 2x last week. I ordered the pork with the white rice and brown beans then the chicken with yellow rice and black beans. The meats both had flavor on the skin however past that the meat was not well seasoned and kind of dry in my opinion. The rice however and beans were most definitely the stars of the show. This place has friendly staff and a hearty amount of food for the price you pay. I would skip fast food and give this place business. Only thing I recommend is maybe the cook the meats a little less if its going to sit in the warmer as even in the juices the meats tend to over cook n become dry. N maybe just a little more salt and pepper on somethings. But I will try more things here and update you guys 😊.

Today was my first time at LA Isla. My only issue was the penil wasn't seasoned enough. There's no cilantro, no Adobo, no sazon and no garlic 😢. It wasn't terrible, just not what I'm accustomed to coming from N.Y.C. The empanadas are scrumptious 😋 tho. The arroz con gandulas needs more sofrito. Would I go back?!! I think so!!

Food was bland, oxtail wasn't very tender. Just overall was underwhelmed.
pernil was good the rest of the food is not very authentic Puerto Rican since there's nobody from the island involved in this. I'm not going back super dissapointed.
I usually love their empanadas and I have been supporting them for awhile but I ordered four beef empanadas and they gave me four of them with cheese and I called them and the woman was really rude. I explained to her I drove 20 minutes from Binghamton and she said “ok so what do you want to do about it” no apology and then when I tried to say I just drove there and back she cut me off and told me to have a good day and hung up.
I've been eating here for a while, and the food is delicious, but I got food poisoning this time. I am very disappointed and likely won't return due to this. I hope the owners read this and are more careful with their food safety from now on.

The food was horrible dry & no flavor I was highly disappointed paid 30 dollars for food I didn’t even eat
Don’t waste your money food is bad
Food is mediocre. They get lucky for being the only spot in the area.
I use to go all the time. The husband is very nice but the wife is rude - I will never go back after her being so rude to me and my wife. One star for poor service and bad customer relations.
I feel like there are 2 separate cooks here. Sometimes I have their food and it's pretty good then Sometimes it's horrible and flavorless. Even still it being the only Spanish spot in the area my husband and I go once in a while. The owner however even when a regular customer does not like to accountability. I try to be very pleasant because I know how this world can be. My food was horrible recently and when I called and complained she basically made it seem like like because it was a small order it shouldn't be a big deal. Then said everyone eats at her place. I was very nice & she had a very nasty attitude. I'm Like ma'am that does not mean you or someone else can't make a mistake. Her attitude was ugly. I didn't even want a refund I was just hoping she would give me new food but now I want neither and I won't be eating here again. It is not a lost.
I never leave bad reviews, but my wife and I both got extreme food poisoning. This is the only place we ate and our kids ate somewhere else and were fine.
I believe as a result of me eating old swine or contaminated pernil. I experienced symptoms of food poisoning. After hours of consuming the only meal I ate for the day. I began to regurgitate and had extreme diarrhea. Be careful eating at this restaurant.
I ordered a beef and cheese empanada with rice, beans and roasted chicken! The only thing I enjoyed was the empanada. The chicken was way too salty and the rice and chicken had no flavor
Staff was rude! Very overpriced and the food is oily and salty!! Also if you get your food to go , they don’t provide napkins or utensils
AS A PUERTORICAN I AM OFFENDED. The pernil was dry and had NO FLAVOR. The empanadas were unflavored and saturated in grease. The rice was also dry and lacked flavor. Will not be eating here again EVER.
This restaurant use to be good, but tbh I think it was only good because Endicott didn't have much at the time. There food is MID and their empanadas are so oily. It seems like they got lazy or just dont try anymore.
The food is not bad but the prices now are outrageous! A little tiny tin pan is 8$ plus they tax one time I had ordered fried egg cheese & salami picked it up it was soggy oily nasty & when I called them to get it re made the lady lied & said she was not there but said she would do it the meal was like 16$ alone & asking for hot sauce the lady looks at me like I’m crazy I would not recommend this place

I'm Ecuadorian. Food in this "restaurant" is offensive for our cuisine!
I went to use there bathroom and sat down. Looked at the door and there was a big sign. “ DO NOT PUT TOILET PAPER IN TOILET. PUT IN WASTE BASKET!!!! I look over to a garbage filled with piss and some SHIT!!!! Is this not a HEALTH CODE VIOLATION!!!!! I will NEVER EVER EAT THERE!!! Omg I was never so grossed out!!!
Very poor customer service to black people. Very rude woman and girl working there. Certain period their people of Spanish decent can say what parts of the food/ meat they would like however a person like myself a county African American woman ask for specific parts of the meat I get attitude and once before she the owner, said you know you can go some place else!:I had to return my undet cooked food and instead of replacing my food she places my money that I did not ask for back on the counter! We will no longer support this bias place of business moving forward. I see how she treats her Spanish peoples and I see for some time now how she treats African American men and woman just by being present! This is unacceptable! Stop serving under cooked pork! This is what happened when there is no compilation restaurants get complacent and forget that we the people are the ones that keep the doors open . Honestly I think everybody in there needs to get their citizenship papers checked. I'm not being funny. Also just because I haven't spoke ir didn't mean I didn't understand that you speak about me when I'm there in Spanish! Also prices for the food quality are over priced!
I got food poisoning from this place this is the only review I would ever leave … I was SICK after eating their food ….. Chicken empanadas taste like nothing but lightly seasoned water meat wasn’t fresh seemed days old. Literally a waste of money ….
