Pasamos por Planta Baja en la noche y estaba bastante tranquilo, con solo un par de mesas ocupadas. El servicio fue muy atento; nuestro mesero nos explicó que todo en la sección vegetariana podía hacerse vegano, lo cual fue genial. Pedí la pasta con champiñones y jitomates cherry. Aunque tardaron un poco en traer la comida, valió totalmente la pena: deliciosa y bien preparada. Definitivamente volvería. Buen ambiente, buen servicio y opciones veganas sabrosas.

We came here right around sunset for an appetizer and glass of wine before our dinner reservation. It was a Friday night but not very busy either inside out or on the patio where we sat. Even though the clouds made for a crummy sunset, the sea view was awesome and the glass of red we enjoyed with the charcuterie board made for a lovely combo. Would love to come back and see more people to enhance the atmosphere and try some food. Regardless, would recommend for anyone wanting a seaside view and a glass of wine with excellent service. The only thing that surpasses the ocean views and sounds of the crashing waves is the amazing food! Husband’s steak cooked to a juicy perfection, my vegetarian pasta filled with veggies and my son’s fish battered with a fantastic crunchy fresh batter. Service was outstanding and we felt welcome as a family with a young child. Super friendly and laid back atmosphere! Everyone should try it at least once!

Planta in Ensenada is an absolute gem. The view and atmosphere are stunning—perfect for a relaxed, elevated dining experience. The food is truly exceptional. My husband and I have tried risotto all over, and the shrimp risotto here was hands-down the best we’ve ever had. Service was excellent, and parking was easy, which is always a bonus. As someone who eats gluten-free, I really appreciated that many menu items were clearly marked, and there were plenty of options for vegetarians and pescatarians too. One more thing we loved: the dog-friendly outdoor seating. Our pup was welcomed with a bowl of water, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped here on the back to the border because this place came up as vegan friendly on my search. We called ahead and were told it was ok to bring our 2 dogs and to double check they had vegan options. Everything checked out when we got there and our dogs had a blast! The restaurant was a little empty, but it was a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm, so makes sense. We had the whole place to ourselves! And the views are gorgeous, we dined on the outside patio Food- we were really happy with the vegan options, even some of the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan because they have vegan butter and vegan cheese! I had the “Sope Pimiento Tatemado, Frijol, Queso, Mancha Manteles” (In English: Corn Sope, Grilled Peppers, Beans, Cheese, Mancha Manteles Sauce). I’ve never had it before, but it was really interesting, new flavor profile for me. I also ordered the tortilla soup (Veganized), and small salad—- both delish. My husband had the risotto and loved it. I tasted something fishy in the risotto, but I am very sensitive to the taste since I’ve never eaten fish. My husband couldn’t taste anything fishy though. They also gave us these cute complimentary bread rolls with vegan butter, they were so good I ordered some to go. We really liked this place, we were thinking of coming back and hosting a party here with friends!

Consistently great, quality food with solid service and an unrivaled ocean view, all at an excellent price make this an easy choice for a fantastic culinary experience at anytime of the day. As it goes with all must visit places... if you haven't been, go; and if you have, go again. Highly recommended and hands down the best restaurant in Ensenada.

This place is phenomenal. We ordered the mushroom risotto, the tortilla soup and the fresh pasta. Everything was wonderful, and this spot also has full ocean views. Service was amazing, flavors well developed, SO MANY FANTASTIC vegetarian options and amazing wines. People speak English which makes it easier to communicate. We will be back!

All of the food I tried was tasty, but the Ensalada de manzana y queso Ramonetti was phenomenal; it was well-balanced and didn't even need the berry coulis although that added another layer of flavor to the bowl. I'd highly recommend that paired with the Sopa de tortilla for a satisfying meal. To drink I had the Planta Baja Alma, I didn't expect it to be blended but was (pleasantly) surprised. It was fresh and slightly smoky and went down easy. We also ordered the tostadas de atún, which were spicy and complemented by the sesame oil and salsa brava. I'd order the side of pan again in the future just for the spicy salsa that accompanies it. I wish I knew what it was; it had a good kick and I'd slather it on all my sandwiches if I had it at home.

Five business under one roof, an amazing coffee and pastry shop, Asa Nisi Masa. Three breweries and the PB Grill. All the food was fresh, creative and delicious and we highly recommend all of it and look forward to our next visit to this cliff top gem.

This place is exquisite. Situated directly on the Ocean in Ensenada Mexico. We were going to grab a drink after leaving a brewery just a few blocks down the street. We were the only people in the establishment. Please take note that this is over July 4th weekend & Mexico shut the border of Ensenada and surrounding cities to ensure it was not overcrowded with people who don’t reside there. I think that was a good idea. It was interesting. The law states that if we wanted to have something to drinks we had to order food. We had just finished a delicious meal & weren’t hungry, so fries it was. Lol. It was worth it. Keep in mind that if you want another drink you are required to order more food. I believe our servers names was Jorge. I apologize if I’m wrong. He was so kind, so nice, & so friendly & informative. We had some questions regarding the closures & he asked his Manager about it (it was where he had originally learned about them from the beginning. The menu I will say looked spectacular. Unfortunately as someone who does not eat meat or fish, there were only a few options on the menu. The entire menu looked tasty delicious & the few vegan/vegetarian options would be worth coming back for. It was currently closed due to COVID-19 however they have a Sky Bar on the rooftop which I can only imagine how gorgeous that view must be. ***Lastly, please be mindful that these are weird times in this world we live in. As we are all trying hard to get back to what is the new normal, remember that if don’t want to follow the rules of any establishment (whether a restaurant grocery store, gas station, etcetera) you deffo do not have too; just remember they also don’t have to serve you in any capacity that they don’t want. Un lugar muy bonito y con amniente relajado buenas vistas al mar , la comida tiene opcion vegana los precios estan dentro del promedio ni muu caro ni muybarato Solo a mi gusto un poco salada pero eso no seria un problema Pidan los tacos gobernador y la lagna vegana a mi me gustaron mucho.

El lugar espectacular, una joya arquitectónica con muchas líneas y una decoración impecable, la terraza muy acogedora, una vista impresionante, de verdad muy bonito para ir a tomarse unos vinos con una tabla de quesos. Probé las croquetas de cangrejo y la verdad me pareció un sabor muy monótono, no tenía nada que resaltara, me comí una de las 3 que sirven y ya estaba empalagado, las acompañan de una mermelada que incluso para mi que amo el un postre, la mermelada se me hizo demasiaaaaado dulce, el corte de res llego al termino tampoco me mató, volvería por un vino y por lo agradable del lugar.

El lugar tiene una vista espectacular, la decoración es muy agradable. Pedí la pesca del dia, de principio pense que era poco pero esta muy bien distribuido y con un muy rico Sazón El servicio es algo donde deben trabajar, no habia agua en los lavamanos "por falta de presión" y la persona que me atendía no se preocupo en resolverlo. Definitivamente es un lugar am que regresaría muchas veces. Gracias

Ok. Primero, si venís para el pescado, hay que anotar que la pesca del día es un filete nada más. No probé otra cosa, sólo estaba esperando un poquito más.

No pidan cócteles, están por arriba del precio promedio y no saben nada bien. Pedimos 2 distintos y ninguno se salvó. Con respecto a la comida recomiendo altamente la pasta negra con mariscos y el postre de chocolate, riquísimos. Regular los tacos de pescado Las aceitunas que dan como entrada saben raras. No me gustó que te cobren el pan extra que pides pq en realidad te dan muy poco la primera vez. Un plus, puedes descorchar tu propio vino por un costo extra

Lo dije y lo reitero, la comida no tiene el sabot acorde al precio. Hay cientos de lugares en Ensenada con comida del mismo tipo, deliciosa y no tan cara. La vista, sí, muy bonita, los meseros súper amables y las bebidas, eso sí bien preparadas y con un precio justo. No regresaría.

Excelente todo .. servicio,comida, ambiente,lo unico es que las porciones en bebidas no alcoholicas no es suficiente en porcion pero fuera de ahi todo excelente!

I'd give this place 4.5 out of 5 stars. We were here on an afternoon couples date. We arrived just after opening so it was still pretty quiet. The view is romantic and breathtaking; the setting and vibe are perfect for a date. The staff were really kind and attentive, and we really appreciated that they were dog-friendly (leashed of course) and they brought him a water bowl. We had drinks, an appetizer and entrees. I want to be clear the food was definitely good, but we agreed we felt each of the dishes was missing....something, but we couldn't put our finger on what it was. The guys ordered steaks and they did say the cuts that day were on the fattier side. I remember thinking my sangria wasn't as sweet as anticipated. I don't need things overly sweet but maybe my American tastebuds are conditioned to require ridiculous amounts of sugar. We still had a wonderful time and would definitely go back again, we'd like to try more of the dishes to see if maybe they were having a slightly off-day or maybe find their specialty dishes.

What a nice oceanfront view! Unfortunately this is one of a few restaurants with this kind of view in El Sauzal. We just wanted to have a drink and watch the ocean but had to order food due to pandemic rules, so we sampled a dish. The aguachile was a very well presented tasty small portion, the chips where greasy and the club soda was expensive @ $4 usd for not a fancy one. We had problems with the car entrance due to rough terrain (not paved) and highway traffic. Getting out was terrible, there were two rigs parked in front of the exit and I had to exchange words with the truck driver, he didn't want to move, I don't know why.
