Decided to check this Sonic out. Was unhappily surprised there was only 1 other vehicle getting food. The rest of the lot was empty and the inside was closed to customers. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. It was hot and good. Didn't get any condiments for our fries or even napkins. The outside could really use a cleaning. Some discarded items in the parking lot and the sidewalk really needs a power washing.
The staff were nice and understanding with our orders, but me as a person who's picky with how food taste I wouldn't go here. The food was hot yes! But the oil taste old maybe because I came at night :(
Always slow, drinks are barely ever up to par. Place has gone down hill bad. I want the normalcy back! 😢 how hard is it to make a Cherry limeade right?! I'm going to start making my own at home.
I gave the service 5⭐️s because Johneisha was working the counter, the drive-thru window, as well as delivering outside. Yes, the wait was longer than expected, but it appears that Johneisha and a cook were the only 2 employees working. This location has a lot of ups and downs. Food quality is generally quite good. Drinks are always great. Wait time is where you really can see some variety. Sometimes you will be in and out with just a few short minutes. Other times I've waited at the drive through window for what seems like forever. I have stopped trying to use the park and order booths because they have such strange service hours.
I expected just a tad more from sonic but oh well. Our food was fine, below what it normally is, and the guy that brought out our food kind of just coughed all over it and didn't even know what he was carrying! I would've rathered drive through which is definitely not the point of sonic. Overall I'd say just below average when I think of fast food.
Two large shakes. Not blended. Huge chunks of cookie. Can't use the paper straws in them. Took the shakes home and blended properly. Broke up the chunks, was a good shake then. 15 mins in the drive through. I don't go here often because of the time it takes for basic orders.
The food is... Fine. The line is always super long and/or it just takes forever to get your food. Expense does not match the food quality, but again, it's... Fine
First and foremost, I bit into a piece of sharp, broken plastic when I started to eat my Reece's Blast. Secondly, my groovy fries and my wife's burger and tots were saltier than Lot's wife. Speaking of dippable potato products, there was one dippy sauce included with our order... the cheese sauce for the very subpar pretzel (no ketchup, no mustard, no signature sauce, no groovy sauce). The corn dog was a corn dog (still, no mustard), and the Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger, while it had decently crispy bacon and über-garlicky sauce, had an unseasoned burger patty. Needless to say, we probably won't visit this particular Sonic again, even though it's the closest to where I'm currently working, and we usually really like the brand.
Additional review as of 9/15/24 I flew in to visit friends and stopped at sonic before going back to airport. I waited 30 minutes for three drinks. I dont understand why it takes so long. When there was only two other people in stalls... Old reviews Messed up my drink two times in a row so I gave up and just left with the second time messed up drink. Took over 15 minutes to even get the first attempted drink out to the car. The place wasn't even busy and we didn't even order food..
The food is amazing and I was so excited once we got a sonic in north syracuse near my home. But like the other comment said, it takes forever. I'm literally in the drive thru now and waited 17 minutes until it got to me we got our drinks and we're then told to pull into a stall and the manager would bring it out. ALL I GOT WAS A HOT DOG!. this is insane. It's always like this with is why I only cone here once in a while. There's no excuse to be here for over 30 minutes for 3 items.
I was hopeful this Sonic was going to have better service than the one on Erie Blvd but it is just as terrible. There is no point in ordering through the Sonic app because when you arrive at your stall they don’t bring the food out. You have to hit the red button for them to tell you “drive-thru only”. When you pull up to the drive thru ordering, you have to wait 5 minutes until someone even acknowledges that you’re there waiting. Then you have to wait another 10 plus minutes for a simple drink. The service is painstakingly slow, the employees’ attitudes are not welcoming or nice, and ultimately it’s not worth stopping.
Don't even bother going inside waste of time and looks like it dead inside the restaurant. Just go through the drive thru or use the kiosk outside. Miss the Chicago style hot dog. Very hyped in the beginning and seems to have lost something or is fading away. Limited menu of hamburgers and hot dogs. Couldn't see the full menus inside one wasn't set right and the other with frozen drinks and sides was fading black and kind of broken. All I really like is tater tots. Highly recommend just using the drive thru. Plus Sonic isn't known for being a sit down fast food restaurant. I just walked in and than just walked right out nobody noticed me.
The fries seasoning made them taste like they were still frozen, the bannana milkshake had a bad aftertaste, their pretzel tasted more like a shitty donut,their chicken sandwich was okay
Food was alright. The cashier was great. Then the atmosphere … it’s got a sign on the front saying “inside dining now open” as if it was recently closed and you would assume it would be clean-negative. The alarm panel was beeping as soon as we walked in saying “check 0023 back south door” then their tvs which I would assume the menus typically would be on? (Never been to a sonic so I’m not sure) they were all black. The booth seats were very worn out looking. Floors didn’t appear clean at all. And there were Halloween stickers left on one of the windows. It’s almost Easter now ………
Never knew chicken tenders can get depression and the person who answered the microphone had an attitude. Server was chip though. Won’t be coming back here again. I should have gone with my gut and got food from another spot
This is a store that will be out of business in the next several months. It's overpriced and the food is nothing special.
This place is super slow and the people can never get your order correct, would not recommend
We parked and placed our order at the parking kiosk. Took several minutes for them to acknowledge us, and then another 8 before they actually took the order. Our order was delivered to the car 10 minutes later. Chicken tenders were overcooked and dry, chili cheese tots were so salty we couldn't eat them. Onion rings were good and would recommend the strawberry lime ade. Garlic butter bacon burger was nothing special.
I thought my local Sonic was slow. Not fast food nor grab a quick bite. 12 minutes from the time we pulled in to the time we received our food. I can say it was all hot. However, the fries were over cooked and the chicken was chewy, like it had been microwaved. My slushy was white on the inch at top like they didn't squirt in enough strawberry juice. Sonic never seems to impress me except for the pretzel, 1/2 price drinks and the 99¢ corn dog sale. Why do I keep going back?????
Even though it's open, it looks like it's been closed for six months. Food wasn't bad, but it sure took awhile and I was the only one in the drive through.
This place is gross, most stalls broken, the entire lot smells like garbage juice, order person was very slow and rude and no chili at noon ? One of the people in my vehicle stepped on a Rogue ketchup packet in the parking lot, which resulted in ketchup, all over their clothing. Did you do bullet time? After 20 minutes, our order didn’t even come out to get my order for 2 people and I was the only patron here. Card readers didn’t work… Corporate should close this location.
Unfortunately there was only one thing that was good with my experience today, the tots. Other than that, I felt like no one gave a …. and the food/service resembled it. 2 cars in line and took 15 minutes to get food. Girl taking my order wasn’t pleasant. I was given the box of tenders and tots with the sauces on top with out a bag? I don’t come often but doesn’t everything come in a bag? Lol The topper, my tenders tasted like they were cooked at 9am and sat in a gas station warmer thing until lunch. I’m sorry and I hate leaving bad reviews but I just thing they should see this so they can step up their game. I like sonic!!! But this sucked.
Usually only come here for the drinks but today we ordered food for dinner. Sat the the car port for 15 minutes with no answer. Went the the drive thru and waited another 30-40 minutes because no one was answering the speakers. Got home (live about 2 minutes away) and our food was ICE COLD. The "chili cheese wrap" was SAD for the amount of money they want for it!! See the cheese and how its not melted? Yeah, COLD FOOD! So annoying waiting that long for dinner and coming home to not be able to enjoy dinner. Last time ordering food there!!
Most terrible experience ever, I was in the mood for a hot dog, tried to go to the local hot dog stand and it was packed so I said well I'll try sonic seens they were the only place to come up that sells hot dog's so I order a combo, pull up and she sais$8.69 I said it was $5.49 on the menu she argues with me then figures out that she was wrong no apology, then I get this, wouldn't feed it to a dog, gross!
The address is explicitly listed on the SaveAround book coupon but they claim to not have a contract with them. They have a sign saying they don't accept certain coupons and SaveAround wasn't listed. Not like I would want to pay for the mediocre-at-best, price-inflated McDonald's-level quality without a coupon. Far better options nearby that offer better food at a better value.
Wow has this place gone downhill. First of all it didn’t even look open. The lights were off the weeds and grass are overgrown. I stopped to grab something to eat. Cheeseburger combo with tots, Diet Coke. Tots were burnt hard. Uneatable. Drink tasted like they started with something else and finished with diet. And the double cheeseburger was disgusting. Missing onions and more. I’m the type of person who will just eat it and say the hell with it because I was too far away by then to go back. I couldn’t do it. 2 bites and in the trash. I believe they cook to order and this place is close to shutting down. AVOID. Go somewhere else
I've talked with Guinness world records, the 35 minutes I waited to order and receive my food could be a new world record for a fast food joint! My last experience here (about a year ago) left little too be desired, this was the deciding factor. I will not be back. I would also like my $.25 back for the "free hickory bbq sauce" that they charged me for but never received.
Strike 1- no walk in customers. Strike 2- No order taking at kiosk. Strike 3- rude drive thru staff and refried food and stall bread. Corporate needs to dive in here. These continuous bad google reviews here mean something. That this place is not operating up to the standard. It needs to be fixed or shut it down. Just look at the lot. Pictures tell all.
Absolutely the worst place to TRY to get food ever - I say try because multiple times I've left due to the wait time being so long. They have the absolute slowest service and worst employees I've ever seen in my life. Everyone who works here has offered miserable service. It's not that hard to hire good fast food staff, apparently it is for Sonic!

I've been stopping here once a week or evert other week since this location opened and EVERY SINGLE TIME they never have onion rings. To this day I have not been able to get onion rings at this location. It's mind boggling. Why do they even have them on the menu? Or do the employees just dislike making them? Service wise this location is very slow. If there's only 1 car ahead of you the girl comes outside and wants you to pay while you wait. My only concern is I rarely use cash so she's taking my credit card inside and most times she does not bring it back. If another vehicle pulls up then she might but otherwise it's waiting at the window for you. I haven't had any issues yet with my card but it's still a little weird. My guess is they are trying to do like many McDonald's and get you to pay so they can clear the order on screen and make their drive thru times "look" respectable. 10 minute wait is a fast trip here and most times there's 1 car or NO ONE ahead of you. Sonic does have good burgers though. The service at this location leaves a lot to be desired. Really though why have they never had any onion rings here? It's a mystery. The person taking order always says their "sold out" I've never seen them sold to be sold out😂
Slow slow slow!!! The drive through and window service is so incredibly slow! You often spend 30-45 minutes waiting for your order, and that’s just for a single drink. Also I have only experienced one staff member to be polite and friendly.. We also sat waiting for family to go through the drive through and saw about 10 cars pull back out of the drive through and leave. Corporate needs to do something about this location or allow another to be built in this area to allow people to enjoy sonic in a timely and friendly matter.
After waiting 10 minutes just to place my order I got tired of watching the employees just stand around and left for the McDonald's next door. There were about 3 other cars in the sonic parking lot and 30 cars in the McDonald's so the demand is there for fast food. Just not the supply. Even the Arby's and the mom and pop ice cream had more business going on.
The worst service ever! It took forever to get the food in the drive thru lane, like 45 minutes with just 2 cars ahead of mine. Then...we get the food and both burgers are wrong. My son ate his, he was sick of waiting. Mine had steak sauce and onions on it--I ordered a regular cheeseburger minus tomato. So I try to go in to let them know...doors are locked..no service at the carhop lanes and another 40 minutes waiting in the drive thru!! NEVER again!
Every time I go there, the wait time is ridiculous. It’s like they’re just standing around talking and not actually doing anything. Stuff is always missing too. It’s not hard to look at one someone ordered and include it in the order. Surprised it’s still open.
A couple months ago I placed an online pickup order. I pulled up the car port and pressed the button, I ended up waiting for over a half hour only for no one to even come out, so I decided to just go through the drive through, which then took another 45 minutes to an hour just to get to the drive through. Upon getting to the window, they didn’t have cookie dough for the flurry I ordered. Frustrating, but I gave them another chance for a DoorDash order last night. I ordered two double quarter pounders, chili cheese tots and a cookie dough flurry. One of the burgers had a patty missing, and both burgers weren’t even close to fresh. They tasted like they had been sitting out for six hours, stale burnt buns, old patties, cheese that was already hardened. Instead of tots, I received chili cheese fries, which were edible unlike the burgers, but still not what I ordered. The cookie dough flurry had multiple chunks of what tasted like snicker pieces in there. At least with my first experience the food was pretty decent despite having to wait nearly two hours for it, but the quality of the food I received last night was absolutely unacceptable. There are several other fast food options in the area, I would pick any one of them over sonic. I don’t know if it’s just this location or sonic as a whole, but I’m incredibly disappointed that the only two times I’ve ordered food here there have been major issues. Get it together guys.
Most nasty place I ever seen and bought food to just throw out. Very run down. Horrible management. Floors were so sticky and nasty when going into the facility to complain. I would never recommend anyone to eat at this place. I seen the dirtiest conditions when going in to make a complaint. 12 min wait time in the drive through just for them to forget part of my nasty order. I can’t believe this place even passes health inspections. I can’t believe how this place even still has doors opened. I wish I could give negative stars. They don’t even deserve a one star in my eyes
I think they've only gotten my order correct once here. Every other time I've gone, my order was at least partly wrong or missing, cold food, in terrible shape, or all of the above. And the few times I've tried to get them to correct my order, they struggle to understand what they got wrong and it takes 45 minutes to get the right food, so it's really pointless. Don't waste your money here on food that's more expensive than McDonald's and honestly below gas station food in terms of quality.
After not being here for a long time. I come back only to see the same people are running this place. Even after all the years of bad reviews you’d think they would replace the people in charge here. I guess some things never change. I don’t wanna hear how sorry you’re sonic. If you truly cared you would’ve already sent a franchisee to the store to investigate and clean house. That’s what you need to do instead of apologize. This whole place needs a bad overhaul! If they truly cared they’d come here and see what’s going on!
We took our children here for dinner tonight and the woman whom was working the drive-thru was unnecessarily short with us and rude from taking the order to giving us the food. The attitude dripping from her was disgusting. She all but threw our food and drinks at us. Literally said nothing after she did and just walked away. We didn’t even know if we were to still wait for more items or if we had everything we had ordered. I said thank you to her at least 3 times and was met with complete silence and dirty looks each time. Even my children felt the tension of the exchanges with this woman. We won’t be back again. The service alone was enough to ensure that.
Haven't been in years but decided to try again. WAIT TIME IS OUTRAGEOUS! We waited Over 45 minutes at a stall and never got our food. Like wow, something needs to happen with the wait time and communicating with people in the stalls. This is exactly why we don't ever come here.
In fairness, I try Sonic every few years and usually don't like it, however this is the 1st time I'm writing a review. I'm guessing they were understaffed but the 3 people I spoke with seemed annoyed by everyone they spoke with. Every item I ordered was wrong or missing something, despite the receipt being correct. I didn't like the burger, but that just maybe their burgers and my taste. I got home and the mozzarella sticks were all hollow. I decided to read the reviews and it seems like many of them are bad for the last few months. Because of this I'm assuming the place is managed poorly, or staff are under trained. Not the staff's fault. Issue with management is my guess.
Came to get some food, went to the drive thru, waited a few mins and no one seemed to be there. Went around to the window and we saw someone in the store appearing to be on their phone. We saw another car in the individual drive thru sections where you hit the button to order so we figured maybe the drive thru wasn’t available. We went to the individual ones and waited a few more minutes after pressing the button. Again nothing. We pulled around once more and saw the guy still on his phone but he didn’t seem to care when he saw us. We left and went to shake shack just up the road.
This was our first time eating at sonic and it was a horrible experience at the one in Syracuse, NY. We ordered and waited 20 minutes at the window and there was only one other car there. Isnt fast food supposed to come out in a timely manner? I ordered the jumbo popcorn chicken with onion rings. When we got the food, they gave us French fries and when we mentioned we wanted onion rings the girl at the window goes "your receipt says French fries". When we told her we said onion rings, she took the bag back and said "no need to be rude". We weren't rude, we simply told her we didn't order French fries, we ordered onion rings. At that point we waited 23 minutes already and the girl just stood there with her arms crossed so we left instead of waiting. There was also no chicken to the popcorn chicken. I just basically ate the fried bread which was hard as a rock. I will never go to a sonic again. Don't recommend.
Holy cow, I've waited the most I've ever waited in a drive through, 45 minutes kinda insane if you ask me the food was fine but I think there was only 1 person on duty. It was pretty atrocious. I cannot believe a big corporate place would allow this to happen, though I suspect the are having staffing issues which sucks this is actually the second time I've experienced crazy waits at this sonic, maybe it's a long term struggle.
I have been here on separate occasions and both times the staff was VERY short and rude for no purpose. First time they didn’t have burgers cause their grills were broken (okay fine), and this time now no ice cream? Quite literally what you’re known for?? Will definitely be coming less than I already do, maybe not again. Just a shame for an iconic business to be run and allowed to function like this without any repercussions ever. The ice cream machine works at McDonald’s more apparently if that doesn’t help you decide to skip the trip here.
Your workers are extremely rude and short with customers in the drive thru. The food was terrible and cold. Reheating it didn’t make it any better. The workers should be more respectful to customers no wonder it’s always dead there. No one wants to go to a place where they’re disrespected over a pretzel stick.
If you ever have 30 minutes to spend in a Drive-Thru with two cars in front of you, this is an absolute best place to do that. I would say they probably killed the cow to make my burger with while I waited, but it's not that fresh. I think the strawberries and limes for my drink are still growing in the garden as I sit here. Update 7/2024... Ordered a drink and a shake online. Pulled into spot 1 and checked in. 25 minutes later, I had my drink and shake. Shake was borderline liquid. Apparently, it sat for 20 minutes. Both were poor. Not coming back.
Always takes atleast 30 minutes in the drive thru, they never have the lanes open for pick up, I only order a single drink which doesn’t need to be COOKED at all. Even if there’s no line, i wait and wait. Dissapointing because i love the ocean water but it’s not worth wasting half an hour on every time.
At 6:30 on a Saturday night, waited 15 minutes at the drive thru to place an order. No one took the order. Had 6 vehicles waiting when I left. Went to the McDonald's next door that happily took my order.
Worst fast food experience I think I have ever had. We arrived at one of the stalls and there were only a few other cars there on a Sunday around 2pm. We figured that we would be getting there between the lunch and dinner rushes so it wouldn't take too long. We ordered our food on the app, followed the check in procedure and entered our stall number. And then the waiting began. Fifteen minutes go by, and more cars arrive. Twenty minutes, more cars leave. After thirty minutes we tried to call the restaurant but we only got their voice mail (which wasn't even set up). I pressed the red button on the stall and it took another 10 minutes for someone to answer. I told them of the problem and what I ordered, and the girl kept repeating orders that clearly weren't ours. At this point, forty-five minutes after ordering, a girl came up to our car and asked what we had ordered. She gave us a bag and told us she'd "come back with the rest." I checked the bag and the food wasn't even ours. Ten minutes later (now fifty minutes there) she comes back with the food we ordered almost an hour prior, and it still wasn't even complete. The food was cold, bland, and undercooked. The mozarella sticks we ordered were HOLLOW!! We called corporate (which has the WORST customer service, but that's another story) and was able to receive a refund (we think... have to wait a WEEK). I'll just end by saying Sonic will NEVER receive my business ever again. You'll be better going to any other fast food chain, and it'll probably taste better too!
North Syracuse is the worst fast food place I've been thru. Took over 15 minutes to get thru the drive thru, and there were only two cars ahead of me. The hotdog was horrendous and the slurpees were so sweet you couldn't drink it. I definitely don't recommend this "fast food" business to anyone. Sonic Drive-In headquarters contacted me and apologized for the horrible experience. However the franchise owner hasn't reached out to me giving me the assumption the franchise owner doesn't care about 1. His customers 2. His establishment 3. And I'm guessing he's in it for the money, nothing else, this is my personal opinion.
This place is a train wreck. Their prices and descriptions are completely wrong, the parking lot is disgusting, and the inside is closed to customers. I tried to ask why everything was wrong and just got "We will look into it tomorrow". I don't usually come here and I definitely won't be back. The food was just ok. The chicken itself was flavorful and hot, but the lettuce was brown. Our tots were cold. My husband loved the jalapeño poppers, which is why the food got 3 stars.
My husband and I stopped on Sunday to try Sonic for the first time. The service was poor even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The restaurant was dirty and looked as though it hadn't been swept or cleaned in a while. The french fries were cold and the smash burger was very salty. Unfortunately due to this experience we do not plan on trying Sonic again.
Terrible. Takes forever to get your food, and when you get the food, it's rubbery and medium cold. Workers seem totally lost and jaded. Worst Sonic I've been to in my life. The property looks bad, it would be nice to see a facelift. To the owner, please go take lessons from the one up in Watertown.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The incompetence of the staff was evident from the moment I walked in. The service was beyond terrible – slow, disorganized, and downright frustrating. Not only did it take an eternity to my order to my car since the lobby was closed but my order was incomplete missing drinks. Place was empty when I pulled into the drive through so you can say we are backed up! The lack of communication among the staff was astounding. It felt like they were completely clueless about what was happening in their own establishment. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was subpar at best. It seemed like they couldn't even get the basics right, as the dishes were undercooked, over-salted, and lacking in flavor. They also did not have an item I ordered which is ok so I had that item replaced with mozzarella sticks and they asked me to pull around to the handicap spot so I did. I waited 15 minutes for those mozzarella sticks no joke this place is a joke they don’t care about their job at all and certainly don’t care about the customer I worked at a restaurant back in the day takes 3 mins to fry up mozzarella sticks. Pathetic I understand that mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of accountability and effort to rectify the situation was truly disappointing. It's clear that the management of this restaurant has no regard for customer satisfaction or even basic professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this establishment at all costs. There are plenty of other places that value their customers and provide a far better dining experience. As a side note you can’t get anyone on the phone to speak to a manage to avoid having to go online and give this place a 1 star review I called 3 times and no answer. So I guess this will have to do.
This place was understaffed and filthy. TV's not working and most chairs wobble so much do to the missing feet. Dirt built up along the walls and your feet stick to the floors while walking. I was so uncomfortable with the filth I was waiting for roaches to attack. We could not wait to get out the door. The health department should do a inspection.
Ordered a double cheeseburger and when I took a bite out of it I noticed there was bacon on it. I am allergic to bacon and this has happened twice now.
This place doesn't look old but seems run-down. Empty parking lot, greasy floors, dirty windows and broken order screens should have clued me in that nobody cared here. Cheddar peppers were fried way too long but edible. Burgers were good, the long hair hanging out of mine was a nice bonus.
Was hoping to order some ice cream this evening, but I sat in the drive through for seven minutes without anyone even acknowledging my being there. There was one other car in the parking lot. Lame. Every time I try to order here, the service is either as slow as a sloth, or non existent. Went to Dairy Queen instead.
Strawberry milkshake and strawberry lemonade are delicious. Food not so great. Chickens bite very crispy and dry. Foot long coney dog was soggy. We order and took almost an hour for our food. 3 cars showed up after us and order they got their food before us and left
Waited close to half an hour for my order with an empty parking lot. Not to mention I told the workers I have a severe beef allergy and to put the burger for my friend in a separate bag and asked them to change gloves before touching the rest of our food after they touch the burger. Did they listen and take my life threatening allergy seriously? Nope! It is now 3am and I’m manifesting this won’t be a trip to the hospital since I’m actively having an allergic reaction to beef from the cross contamination. Thanks Sonic!
Went to sonic today while picking my brother up from the airport. Spent $74.78 on food for him, myself my mother and other sibling. He got a large heath blast i got a medium reeses blast. We were on a time crunch so we scarfed our food and drove back to Binghamton. The Milk in both or blasts were spoiled NEVER GOING BACK.
For a fast food establishment, there is nothing fast about it. Your greeted by rude order takers after sitting at theborder speaker for minutes. Then o ce you place your order your stuck in the like for almost 15 minutes waiting to even get to the pick up window. Then you sit there and wait again and hope that once you receive the order, all your food is there. Do not visit this store if you want crappy customer service and to waist time sitting in a drive thru.
this is the worlds worst sonic. it works, it’s functional (kind of). don’t go here if your on a time crunch or trying to get out at a reasonable time, i hear this is the first restaurant to hire live walnuts who can’t stir a drink even if the fate of the world depends on it. there’s a skill check to get in because BOTH entrances have man eating potholes. i don’t think there’s a manager here, i don’t think there’s a boss, i think this may be the world first and hopefully last fully walnut employee run sonic, truly a testament. i wrote this story while waiting for my order, hope it comes soon 🤞
how are you out of ice??? and why do your employees have attitude problems when you’re trying to order your food. i received a warm drink. it wasn’t cold at all and no ice.
We sat in the parking lot waiting for our order for 30 mins, finally went in and they said to go through the drive through, so then we sat in the drive through for another 15. If I hadn’t already paid through the app, I totally would have left
Fries were cold, burgers werent warm ethier if I could give food 0 stars I would tator tots were only thing good outta a 30$ meal and drinks
The food was hard.. and the strawberry lemonade was horrible.. it taste like acrylics…
Absolutely terrible sonic, go anywhere but here. stay away 1) ordered online, app said park in any stall. parked in a normal stall, got told next time i need to park in the mobile pickup spot? what does it matter? the place wasn't busy at all. 2) route 44 ocean water was all carbonated water and coconut flavoring, no sprite at all. had to go through the drive through and have this fixed to a normal coke that was not much better. 3) ordered a triple smasher plain with mayo only, got it with ketchup and mustard and mayo. really? do we not know how to follow instructions? I asked for things removed, that should make the job of making the burger EASIER, had to have this remade at the drive through as well. 4) ordered a full size Frito burrito, came out as the smallest burrito iv ever seen, utterly ridiculous. 48$ with tip that was not deserved for 2 people to eat here. ill take my money elsewhere from now on, I can eat for 2 for far less at chilis and get accurate service! or the McDonalds next door!
Honestly we were excited about visiting sonic. But this one specifically was terrible. The restaurant was empty (we should have left then), the floors covered in grease and were slippery. The tv screens - 1 was working. 1 was off (broken) and it appeared 1 or 2 were gone. The male staff member was fantastic. However we ordered our youngest a grilled cheese and they gave him a burger. We didnt want to make a scene so I tossed the burger and purchased a grilled cheese. The tots were tasty. The food otherwise was blah.
This place should just close. Over 30 minutes for a single beverage order is insane. Properly staff or close
If I could put 0 I would. I pulled in 15 minutes before “closing” (website says 1 it was 11:45) and only wanted a soda and fried. Sat at the car hop for 5 minutes before anyone answered, was told they be right with me. I sat there for 5 minutes then decided the drive thru would be easier. Pulled through the drive through and was told I’ll be right with you. It is now 4 minutes before closing and was asked “is your order light we are closing” stated I just sat at the car hop for 10 minutes and was asked what my order was and told them no one took it. The guy doesn’t respond so I just say never mind and leave. There were 2 other cars and this is now the 2nd time this has happened the first it was at 6pm
We waited in the drive through for 10 minutes and no one came to help us. So we decided to go inside. No one greeted us. After 5 minutes someone walked from the back and said “are you from DoorDash” and we said no just waiting to order and they proceeded to walk to the back again. After a total of 15 minutes inside and no one coming to help us, we decided to finally leave. Who I assume was a worker was standing there talking to either friends or family who were sitting in the booths and when we walked out she yelled “are yall waiting on something”. That’s some crazy service.
Sat in the drive window with people seeing me yet completely ignoring the fact that I was sitting there waiting for my food. My food was cold and fries were burnt. Definitely not worth going there.
Had to wait at front for 10+ min not a worker to be seen. Finally seen someone, Really rude lady swearing and cursing while doing her job and cutting us off while trying to order saying we pissed her off. First time trying sonic and felt super unwelcome. Food was ok. Place has some potential if staff had decent manners
The food was made sloppy and wasn't even good. The service was terrible. I don't know if only one worker was working but I sat in the drive thru for almost 25 minutes. There were no cars or patrons inside. I was the only person in the drive thru until 15 minutes had already gone by. The breakfast burrito I ordered wasnt folded in a burrito and was mostly just cheese. I did not eat the burrito just my tots.
Went to get lunch with my husband and son. Spent $30 and sat down. Waited 20 minutes, the group of 4 people got served first but then they realized it wasn't their order (it was ours- kids meal was a dead giveaway). Heard the server tell the worker in the back when he brought the food back that the group said it wasn't theirs. Husband went up to get a refund: the manager said that our food was up (yes we know, you gave it to the wrong group). She also said they were swamped (5 cars in the car port, 2 or 3 were there when we pulled in, my group and another inside, not sure what the drive-thru looked like). We went to McDonald's instead. We might be back if something changes.
I didn’t get food! No service at all and when they finally responded, they just took the order, waited over ten minutes with no update or explanation why the delay. Fed up, I simply left. Terrible treatment.
This location was clean and nice with a nice outside area to eat on. I ordered a cheeseburger and there was so much condiments on it that it kept sliding off the bun. It was very sloppy. We ordered mobile but ate inside. There werent any napkins in the bag and it took 10 minutes to get any, since the workers at sonic don't work the counter area. I didnt add any photos as I do not plan on coming back to this location
I am so disappointed in this location, but also the company. Let me share : Last week - We placed a mobile order. The store was out of hot fudge, and would not do a refund for that once we arrived. They said to send in a a message. Once we got out order, it was not good quality. The blast I got was NOT mixed at all. Barely any toppings plopped on top. My husband's shake had chocolate smeared on the outside of the cup, and a smear of peanutbutter inside (NOT ordered) and MISSING the oreo we paid an extra $1 for. It ended up being a completely peanut butter shake, when he had ordered a chocolate shake w/ oreo. I sent in a message to customer service, with pictures, and got an immediate response that it would be looked into. Awesome! JK. We got offered a $5 giftcard on the app a day later. (Which once you subtract the hot fudge and oreo topping that were both completely omited, you are left with about $3. For the staff on duty messing up an entire order. 🙃) I responded with that explanation. It's now been almost a week, with an email back saying "the issue has been sent to that store for review". HAHAHAHA. Pictures of the disaster added. Visit at your own risk. We used to like Sonic 🤷🏼♀️
Took half hour. Pictures will show you, receipt cut off before I could get survey numbers to be able to do survey. It'll show what our order was. Chocolate shake is NOT chocolate. It also was all over the outside of the cup. The chicken tenders over cooked and dried out. And they closed by 5:30p right in middle of dinner rush.
