Went there whilst on holiday in 2010, it was so memorable that I had yo take the trip again during my golf break in 2022. It was even more delicious than I remember it being. Highly recommended if you like a traditional English fish n chips.

My wife had been hankering for fish and chips for weeks now and we travelled down from Ronda today. Wow! This place can hold it's own against any place in the UK, from Whitby to Whitstable. I honestly never would have expected such quality fish and chips on the Costa Del Sol! Super friendly staff too. And large really does mean LARGE here. Look forward to visiting again.

Good freshly cooked generous portions of fish & chips. Eat and go restaurant, not generally a place to spend a whole evening. Great for take away also.

The fish & chips were perfect. The batter on the fish was nice and light and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was was very good and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Anyone that needs a reference on how a fish and chips restaurant should be, should go here. Our favourite combination is small cod, chips, a side of gherkins, curry sauce for the chips, and a shared side salad (this helps with the guilty feeling).

Hard to fault really....just a good old family friendly and going quality fish and chips eatery .. Super clean , and great choices

For sure it is the best fish and chip shop on the costa de sol. But actually, I would go further to say that it’s better than many even in the UK.

We really enjoy here the fish and chips. Worth driving from Estepona to the restaurant. Be there this week again for sure.

Four of use had a meal on a Tuesday night off season so it was pleasingly quiet. We all had fish and chips and asked for cooking with the skin removed. The result was exceptional. We unanimously agreed that this was one of the best F&C meals have ever had. The batter was perfect, crisp but not crunchy and not saturated with oil. The fish was tender and very high quality. The staff and owner were so helpful and friendly we just could not find fault with anything. Needless to say we will be looking forward to another visit next time we are in the region. If you like F&C this is a must visit.

We had the haddock takeaway and it was really really tasty. Batter lovely and crisp. The lady was efficient and friendly. Very quick too.

Best Fish & Chips I’ve ever had! Portions fantastic. I had cod, my wife had haddock and my daughter had scampi. All 3 were so delicious. The mushy peas are perfect! Highly recommend and look forward to coming back next year.

Travelled for 10 miles for this, so worth it! The best fish , chips, curry sauce and mushy peas in a clean great setting ! Friendly staff who were very welcoming and took the time to tell us their journey of setting the restaurant up. Would definitely recommend no matter how far your journey to here!

Very nice food. Lovely fish and chips. The prices are higher than what you would pay back in UK. But the portion sizes won't disappoint you. Arrived at a very busy time and the restaurant was full, but they were able to seat us and serve us. 1 small point to say is the fish comes with skin on. Not a problem if your used to it, but worth noting as in the UK the skin is now removed almost everywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. All in all a lovely place (no pun intended) to go for nice and quality fish and chips.

What a great find! We had a fantastic meal at this authentic Fish & Chip shop. All our meals were perfect, served with 'proper' chips plus a selection of sides (pickled onions/gherkins) were also available. Staff were very nice & friendly. We will certainly visit again when we are next in the El Paraīso area.

We had the cod and chips and it was hands down the best cod and chips I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. The onion rings were light, crispy, and delicious, not greasy at all. Portions were very generous, the service was excellent, and prices were very reasonable. We’re a family of four and every single one of us loved our meal. We’ll definitely be returning and will happily recommend Peggotty’s to friends. A real gem in Marbella!

Food quality is good but for a family of four it is a bit pricey, soft drinks are the tiny bottles please go to normal size ones 2 euros for a 300ml coke is not funny. Menu prices don't include iva so that comes as an extra whack.

Beautiful fish and chips very happy to have found Peggottys. We had a few beers next door in The Dog House a little cheaper at €3 a pint. The missing star is because upon paying 10% was addded it is on the bottom of the menu :(

A bit hidden place but worth to go and eat fresh chips and crunchy fish and desserts, inside and outside table, also takeaway, highly recommended.

This is one of the best Fish and Chips I had. The portion size is generous, and the prices are reasonable. The service is extremely fast! Few notes to the restaurant for improvement: 1) The salad served with the dish would be much more convenient if it was coleslaw salad. Lettuce, cucumbers, and Tomatoes doesn’t go well with the dish. 2) Your tartar sauce needs a lot of improvement. It taste like mayonnaise only. I would encourage you to improve it more. Otherwise you have great Fish and Chips!

For a return to Britain for fish and chips it's fine but I get so irritated that prices are ex vat. Yes it says on the menu but most people won't realise that they don't have to pay it. My wife makes me keep quiet on the odd occasion we go there but it really is wrong otherwise it would get 5 stars

Ordered the small fish and chips for 9.99. portion size decent, but still expensive for what it is. Beware price of soft drinks, the bottles are the tiniest I've ever seen, unnecessary cost cutting measure. Towards the end of my meal I found a hair on my plate, I did inform them and they took it onboard. Shouldn't happen though. I would go back again but not out of my way. Plenty of f+c shops to choose from with fairer pricing.

Very expensive and very average. It's the only 'British style' fish and chip shop around here that I'm aware of so have nothing to compare Peggottys too other than the fish and chip shops in England, but €10 for scampi (and that's before chips) that are no better than, and probably bought from, a supermarket is daylight robbery. Everything we had was a tad overdone as well; slightly burned chips, dry fish and rock hard batter on the scampi. There are many better options here for food.

Fush is frozen. The waitress said because Spain has no fish and it comes from Marocco. We have the fishing harbour in the vicinity. I saw how the chef made the potatoes and so they tasted. The cleaning equipment is smash on the bar instead of hidden. Can't they put picture straight on the wall. Well, I am not British.

Food ok. I personally feel pie and chips at €11.95 a tad pricey. Fish and chips were cheaper!! Also water at €1.95 for a small bottle when at a restaurant less than 10kms away the previous day the same bottle was €1.25 may help people.

We've been here a few times. The food is pretty good, but the service is slow and not particularly friendly. Atmosphere is fair.

Food was only reasonable not great, and takes quite some time to be served, probably because the food is cooked on demand, because the place was empty, with only one other customer. They had no Haddock when we ate there, so we had to settle for Cod. We were served by a very miserable asian girl. She may have thought that a smile might kill her, perhaps this was the reason.
