My husband and I come here frequently! It's a HIDDEN GEM! Any time we want to grab a nice dinner and have a nice time, we come here. Everywhere else is packed, and this place is quiet and perfect! Although we are not complaining! We never need a reservation, which is so so so nice. The food is superb! The last time I went, I got the grilled Ceasar salad. The time before that was the pistachio chicken WOW!! My mouth is watering again, just thinking about that dish. And they do brunch!!!! So good! Definitely recommend checking it out!

This was our first time here and it was amazing! I took my mom out for Mother’s Day today and the experience was amazing. The food was as good as it looked and we enjoyed every bite. Our waitress Savannah was amazing and so nice! She met expectations and always checked on us to see how we were doing and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely going to come back here again!

Went here for brunch. I LOVE SUNDAY BRUNCHES at Douro Steakhouse. They also have bottomless mimosas! They have really nice brunch drinks and menu. Honestly every single plate that was ordered and was being taken to tables looked soo good I was tempted to go take pictures of everyone's food lol They have street parking as well as parking behind the building, staff is amazing. Vibe is just right. They also have a regular menu for the rest of the week.

First time here! Loved it! Thank you Anderson for taking care of us! 5/19/23: This place has become a favorite of ours. The wine selection although modest, has some great choices to choose from. The waiter suggested the Caymus Suisun red blend wine which was very good. My usual here is the filet mignon w/gnocchi which is ohhh so good. The filet as always was cooked to perfection, moist and tender on the inside.. The yucca croquettes are sooo delish and make a great starter.

Sunday brunch was amazing! Every item our group had was freshly prepared and delicious. Our server was fantastic, he listened to our order and made excellent recommendations. It was a perfect day for brunch on their patio.

I ordered the Filet Mignon Gnocchi. The steak was a little overdone. I asked for medium & it was more so cooked medium well. Other than that, it was a great dish, as the combination of flavors was awesome. All of the staff were nice & accommodating. Nice setup inside.

We came for dinner on a Monday night. I had the chicken curry, Portuguese fries and a slice of chocolate mousse cake -- all of which were delicious. My family tried the shrimp mozambique and the Towne burger and enjoyed both. The restaurant has a nice vibe and is divided into three sections (the steakhouse, the cafe and the oyster bar areas). We ate on the oyster bar side where it felt a bit more casual than the steak house. If I went back to the steak house side, I might dress up a bit, though it wasn't required. When setting up a reservation, be sure to indicate which side you would like to be on. This restaurant takes care in its appearance, with cloth tablecloths and napkins, thoughtful decorations and fun music. The outdoor seating area has these cute overhead umbrellas in different colors providing some shelter. The staff was friendly, though perhaps could have known their menu a bit better (but it's a new place, so we weren't put out by our waitress checking in with the kitchen staff). It was a great first interaction with the restaurant and I will definitely plan to visit again in the future. It's not a cheap night out, but the portions were fair for the pricing. Think date night. One of the owners checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were being well taken care of, which was appreciated. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to someone looking for a good meal in Fall River.

Had a wonderful brunch there today. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and the brunch was delicious. The portions were amazing and everything was very fairly priced. We also wanted mimosas but asked for cranberry juice instead of orange juice, well they came back and said what about a mimosa flight with all different tasters and it did NOT disappoint! So so yummy, totally hit the spot. We will definitely becoming back again. It’s a vibe!

I have dined here a handful of times now. Absolutely love the atmosphere, service and quality of food. This has become one of my favorite spots to dine when visiting the area. This is my first time here on a Wednesday when they offer dinner for two special. This is a must-have for couples looking for a great date night in the area. Our server tonight Anderson was wonderful, friendly, professional and very informative. Looking forward to my next dining visit here. They offer one vegan option on their menu and would love would love to see more vegan options on the menu in the future.

Went to Sunday brunch and was greeted by a very staff. Food and drinks for 3 people came out to less than $70. The food exceeded my expectations and our server Eddie was super helpful and friendly. 10/10 experience!!

Had a valentines dinner here and was my first time checking the place out. We both shared a few apps half dozen oysters and octopus. Both where incredible oysters tasted fresh and shucked well and the octopus was made perfectly. We both ordered wagyu for dinner rare an as rare as possible for myself. Really this place you get what you pay for everything was cooked well and the drinks were great. Definetly try an expresso martini on the way out, we had 2 or 3. Definetly coming back here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went to The Townhouse restaurant for brunch with several family members, and it was truly such a great experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but the food… wow. Absolute perfection. Huge portions, perfectly done, and honestly some of the most delicious brunch food we’ve had. Taylor took care of us personally and went above and beyond to accommodate our group, even making concessions on items not on the brunch menu to make sure everyone was happy. That level of attention and genuine hospitality makes such a difference, especially with a large group. The Portuguese French toast!!!!!! To die for — so, so good. We all left happy, full, and so impressed. Highly recommend

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. What really made the visit special was our waiter, Anderson. He was amazing so friendly, attentive, and personable. He made us feel comfortable the entire time and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Anderson truly added to the whole experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of the outstanding service and great food. Highly recommend!

First time coming here and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing! The drinks are 10 out of 10, food 10/10 and the people 10/10!! Definitely a gem in Fall River and definitely wanted to check out.

The food? Absolutely incredible. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. You can see and taste the pride in their work. This isn’t just a place to eat. It’s a place to enjoy. Douro delivered across the board. I’ll definitely be back.

Great private atmosphere, food, cocktails and service. We’ve been several times and will continue to come back for occasions requiring something classy or upscale. Duoro still feels like a hidden gem after years of operation, would recommend to anyone.

Service was really great! Anderson was our server and his recommendations for drinks and steak for my husband were great and appreciated. To eat we had the calamari and the Portuguese soup. The sauce for the calamari was a little underwhelming. It was like water downed buffalo hot sauce. The soup was tasty but it was oily. For entrees my husband had the rib eye and I had the Portuguese steak. Food was served lukewarm and steaks needed more seasoning/flavor. For dessert we had the brulee cheesecake and espresso and mocha martinis were all delicious. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and intimate.

We had Anderson as our service and he was very pleasant, welcoming and friendly, he was also very helpful and polite. We enjoyed having him as our server. The food was delicious, it was our first time dinning at this restaurant, and we loved the experience, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic experience here! The food, atmosphere, and staff were great. It’s extremely clean and inviting. The Portuguese steak dinner was cooked to perfection. The staff went above and beyond to make it a great experience. We spoke to one of the owners, who was very friendly. Emily, the bartender was fantastic! Fast, friendly and efficient. Cory and Anderson were great too! Cory had good suggestions on the menu and showed us the cigar lounge and Anderson made a great caipirinha. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful dining experience there on Friday, Feb 20, 2026, Our waiter Eddy was the best! Lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, honestly one of the best we have had in quite a long time. We went with another couple and they were equally impressed. The atmosphere was unique, as it reminded us of our travels to Portugal. Well done, we will make a return trip, I only wish they were closer to where we live!

Wow were we surprised how i found a restaurant not near our house was unbelievably delicious! In the heart of Fall River this place has been here for about 6 years and I was impressed with the service from our waiter Anderson. He knew what we wanted to start with for drinks and for our dinner. He knows the specials by heart and had great suggestions. The plates were full of food, and I mean great food! I had the stuffed chicken while my girlfriend had the pistachio chicken with mocha martinis. Well worth the visit here!!!

Anderson was an amazing host. He recommend my whole meal and didn't disappoint. He was very kind and I enjoyed his presence. This was my first time coming and won't be the last because of his service. 10 out of 10 highly recommend❤️

Atmosphere, decor and food were all great ! I took off a couple of stars due to a few minor bumps. #1. If I make a reservation at 11:00 AM, I expect it to be approved and confirmed by my 5:30 arrival at the restaurant. My reservation stayed in limbo until after I arrived. Fortunately as this was early on a Monday evening, we could be readily accommodated. #2. Though our server was congenial and helpful, he was also solely responsible for tending the bar in addition to waiting our table. This resulted in long periods of time when he was nowhere to be found when he was making high volumes of drinks for larger groups of diners. This arrangement is highly impractical and was a bit frustrating. #3. Every chef should be aware that lamb chops should be cooked rare. Ours were well done. Edible but not optimal. In sumary, this is a great place to dine, but they need to afford a bit of attention to a few items that are the difference between being very good and an outstanding place to dine. I still recommend giving this place a try !

Perfect from dinner to mocha martinis... Anderson was an amazing server!

Our drinks were perfect! We had filet mignon and Portuguese style filet mignon, which were good. As for our waiter, Taylor was the best! That man was attentive, patient, and friendly which we appreciated, especially when it was certainly very busy tonight. We’re planning to return to check out the lounge upstairs!

Atmosphere was very nice as we sat outside in a little courtyard. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Our waiter Anderson was attentive and provided good service. Our first time here and we will be coming back.

Towne House was decent. Went there for a small wedding celebration. The filet was cooked well and tasted good but was slightly too salty. The house fries were pretty soggy. We were there on a Saturday evening and only one other table was occupied, that concerned us before we even sat down. It was odd that the soda machine was down and not working. Our server was very nice but we did have a few minor dislikes, reasons for the lower review. My wife had the seafood pasta and would not choose that again. The shrimp and clams were pretty gross. This place was promising but for the price I would consider going somewhere else unfortunately.

Delicious muffin. The brunch was good. A very small selection of the menu. I liked the thick-cut bacon 🥓. Home fries were okay. French toast with Portuguese sweet bread 🍞 was delicious...

I’m surprised to see so many good reviews. Sadly, we can’t comment on the food quality as we didn’t stay long enough to try it. My wife and I reserved a table on a Saturday night. When we arrived there weren’t many guests there and we were seated right away. We were seated by the window which had such a strong draft my wife was cold and uncomfortable as soon as we sat down but we were excited to try the food as it sounded good. After 15 minutes sitting there not being acknowledged by any staff member we decided to leave. The ambiance was awkward it was so quiet you could hear every tables conversation. Not one person came to us for the entire 15 minutes we sat there. Not a hello, hi, how are you, we’ll be with you soon. Nothing. Once we saw a cook come into the dining room with her apron on we just felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that it was time to leave. It wasn’t worth it. And to no surprise, no one tried to see if we were okay or needing anything as we left.
