Monty’s was everything we wanted and more. Emma helped us pick out a fantastic local beer and offered warm and friendly hospitality. What a great spot to stop after a nice hike!

Welcoming, great bartender, fun outdoor patio with tons of seating and a real fire. Local gave us suggestions for breakfast. Would go back!!! Good prices too.

Absolutely love this place. Stopped by tonight to relax for a few. Perfect spot! Lighting is perfect. The bartender was attentive and courteous. Just to the right, down the stairs there is an amazing courtyard with a fire pit. Which was stoked and roaring. Who could ask for more. If you haven't been you need to. Perfect spot for a cocktail 🍸 before dinner at many of the awesome spots in Felton.

They no longer serve food. Bartenders are great and the cabin is the perfect dive bar. Locals are friendly and Monty is awesome. This is one of my favorite places.

Words can't express how much love I have for this place. Only spent one evening here, but it was the best evening I've ever spent in a bar. People drop in and out for drinks all evening, but everyone is so so friendly and chilled. The outside garden area looks amazing, but we just sat at the bar talking (and singing!) with Sarah and some of the regulars. Hopefully one day we'll be able to come back. Thanks for making our flying visit to Felton so memorable and special!

Didn't eat at this cash only bar with a tight and crowded local crowd interior and a nice open outdoor space with plenty of room for when it's nice outside.

We hiked the redwoods earlier in the day and spotted Monty’s on the way in. We knew we had to stop on the way out. This is exactly what a bar should be rock music on the jukebox, cold beer, cash only, and a friendly bartender. The added bonus? Monty was originally from Rochester, New York… our hometown. That made the stop even better. Thanks for the ice-cold PBR.

However, the bartenders were rude likely because they are the most attractive people in the town and think over highly of themselves and a local "event coordinator" talked down on our party due to her lack of job performance at the Fern River Resort up the road but that's a review I will leave elsewhere. All in all we had a blast celebrating our best friends wedding this past weekend at Monty's as our after hours spot!!

Classic mountain bar with more personality than it know what to do with. Everyone should go at least once just for the vibes and local conversation that's always readily available. Needs a better beer selection.... but you're ordering a shot and domestic bottle anyway in a spot like this....

Most locals were very friendly as well. However, the bartenders were rude likely because they are the most attractive people in the town and think over highly of themselves and a local "event coordinator" talked down on our party due to her lack of job performance at the Fern River Resort up the road but that's a review I will leave elsewhere.
