Our entire experience was fantastic. My wife and I went out to celebrate her birthday. The hostesses welcomed us, our waiter, Coy was so attentive and warm and our dinner including an appetizer (shrimp cocktail) and dessert were all delicious. My wife had beef medallions and I had ahi tuna followed by creme brulee for both of us. From start to finish we were completely satisfied with our experience at Peterson’s.
Very high class with top quality food, and service. Thomas was our waiter who made sure we were well taken care of. We enjoyed the ribeye steak most. The au gratin potatoes were just OK and the crab cakes were just OK. The overall experience will be worthy of a future return - especially because it's on the "resy" listing.
I had a fantastic experience at Peterson's Restaurant, thanks to the exceptional service in the bar area. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every guest felt welcomed. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the food was delicious, perfectly complementing the warm ambiance. Unfortunately, a fellow patron was on a Zoom call at 6:30 PM, which slightly disrupted the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere. Despite this, the team’s outstanding service ensured a memorable evening, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Wow! My husband and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary at Peterson’s last night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was outstanding— we loved the Tuna Tartare and the Prime Rib Egg Rolls as appetizers! But what really made the evening special was our waiter, Coy. From the moment we were seated, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive and genuinely seemed to care about making our anniversary memorable. Coy offered great recommendations, made us feel celebrated, and even surprised us with a sweet treat at the end of our meal. His kindness and attention to detail elevated our whole evening. Highly recommend this spot for a special occasion—or any night you want to feel a little extra cared for. Until next time!
Omg, I have been wanting to dine at this place since I first saw them on the devour list. The first time we went, I had my young daughter with me, and they said young kids are not able to dine. So we got carryout instead, and it was incredible. So this time, I made sure I didn't take her, and we didn't make reservations, so I was glad that they were able to accommodate us with a table. The staff was friendly, and the waiter, Kyle, was really great. He was personable but not hoovering. He was very accommodating. The food was top tier and so were the drinks. And even when she didnt quite like the drink she ordered, he asked if he could fix it, and it was great. It was great experience and I would definitely go again. 10/10
I was gonna wait until Devour to check out Peterson's, but went on an impulse (& recommendation from someone in a foodie group) & gave it a shot.. longer story short.. I'm still going to go during Devour.. I just don't know if I'll be able to limit myself to what's on the Devour abbreviated menu..being pescatarian our choices are often somewhat limited, but Peterson's has a ton of deliscious seafood options to choose from.😉
I recently dined at Peterson’s restaurant and had an exceptional experience! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor that left my taste buds delighted. The ambiance was inviting, service impeccable. A definite 5-star gem worth revisiting!
Our experience was absolutely amazing. We came here for our 5th anniversary. Everyone in the restaurant said happy anniversary. They gave us a complementary picture and card. Our server Sergio was amazing. If you are in the area, definitely go!
If you come to Petersons, you must request Coy T as your waiter. He was absolutely incredible and made our experience so special. He exceeded our expectations and was truly the BEST service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. My fiancé and I were celebrating my new job. Coy went above and beyond and took our photo at the table, escorted me to the restroom, and even brought us champagne with a special bourbon cherry in it. He was the best waiter we’ve ever had and we will definitely be going back and bringing our family and friends with us. Also, the food was unbelievably good. I can’t recommend Petersons and Coy enough!
Peterson's was one of the best options in Fishers and... It still is today. There are many new restaurants in Fishers now, but Peterson's has stepped up their game to continue to compete as the best in Fishers. The steaks are excellent, and the seafood options are outstanding quality and value. The staff is the real advantage, as Peterson's has long term employees that really know the menu and are always there when you need them. My wife and I love to come here for special occasions and I highly recommend Peterson's.
For me, Peterson's is the best restaurant in the Indianapolis area. My go to for a special occasion. Took my daughters for a graduation celebration and it did not disappoint. Peterson's gives you that old school, upscale feel but with a non stuffy vibe. Service is always awesome and the food is off the chart delicious. I had the Ribeye with a bacon blue cheese crust. Girls had seafood dishes. All pretty on the plate and tasty. Apps and desert all fabulous. If you're looking for that place to entertain someone from out of town or to celebrate a special occasion, look no further.
Our first time there and the experience was very good. Coy our server kept us entertained and the food was great. I am only sorry that I didn't have room for dessert 😋
We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary today! the food was incredible and our server Coy was so delightful, attentive, and gave great recommendations. We had the calamari as an app, scallops and blue cheese crusted steak with creamy potatoes and street corn as sides everything was very well prepared and we had plenty to take home afterwards. We recieved a complementary dessert and went with the Chicago cheesecake which was a perfect end to the evening. Thank you for the great service hope to come back again soon ❤️
This was by far the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had! Our table was ready and prepared for us when we arrived. Coy was great! He’s very personable and genuine. He made us feel like VIPs! Great stories and his suggestions were great! He suggested a drink called a Pinetini and it was amazing! The food was awesome! The most tender and melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon I’ve ever had. Her ribeye was buttery, flavorful and perfectly crusted. The prime rib egg rolls were delicious. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were delicious! The cheesecake was arguably the best we’ve had. Definitely give Peterson’s and Coy all 5 stars and all the thumbs up you can think of!
Dined in for our anniversary. Everything tasted so good. The lobster lady fingeres werent that great but oh well. Will dine again, no special event required :)
The most welcoming atmosphere I've experienced in a long time! From coat check, to a warm greeting from other servers, this first visit was magnificent! Wendy provided excellent care with a special touch. I'm excited to make my next reservation!
Had a great experience here tonight. Coy was our server and completely made the evening for us. He’s friendly and has great recommendations. He recommended the creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin as sides and he was spot on. They were amazing. Ribeye was melt in your mouth tender. We’ll be back for sure
I had the steak frites, a glass of chardonnay and a scoop of gram-cracker ice cream. The bone marrow butter demi-glace sauce was phenomenal, the fries were fantastic and the arugula were all great. This meal was truly a sum of its parts. It was the quintessential steak frites. Its a lovely crafted and welled paired entry. You're gonna be thinking I'm over hyping this up, but I assume you I'm not. A skirt steak is not a trivial cut of meat to cook or prepare and nor is steak frites just steak and fries thrown together with pan drippings. Its extremely hard to do well and well enough to have this be a full featured entree. I can only wonder the amount of care that goes into their flagship steaks and other dishes if their steak frites was this good. This place is a bit dated in someways, but it's also been lovingly maintained. This is a PRIME example of fine dinning in the late 00s. In my honest opinion it was the peak of what an American steak house could be while embracing both traditional lightings, service and moods with modern approaches to the interior design. Personally the only things I would change would be some gentle restoration of well loved and worn trim. The service was truly amazing. I was not a big spender, but never less treated with the upmost highest standard of service. If I ever find myself in Fishers again, I'll be sure to have every dinner I can as this treasure of a restaurant with its lovely staff.
We had Coy as our server tonight and he made us feel so special! The crab cakes were amazing and the creamed spinach was the best I’ve ever had! We even finished the night with some awesome cheesecake
We did the Devour Indy menu, with the addition of the charcuterie board, and we loved every bite! If you get the filet, you MUST get the horseradish and bacon crust; it will change your life. Almost every time we dine out, I get a Bloody Mary and Peterson's version was just meh. Just barely under the point I would have asked for it to be remade. And the fact it cost north of $10 didn't help. Overall, the exceptional service by Summer rounded out a very satisfying experience, one we are looking forward to again.
Celebrated a birthday here. Great atmosphere, business casual dress. Highly recommend lobster fingers tempura. You get 3 but they were hugh. Great romantic dinner. Waitress knew exactly how keep us happy
My husband and I come here often and the food and service never disappoint. Our last visit we had the calamari, caprese salad, I had the swordfish special and my husband had the ribeye. Everything was cooked to perfection. I also had two of the best dirty vodka martinis I’ve ever had. We finished our evening with the crème brûlée. Kevin was amazing as always, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the servers there.
Always a great dining experience at Petersons. Came for valentines day weekend dinner, they accidentally canceled our reservation but sat us fairly quickly after that.
We celebrated our 40th anniversary this past week with a superb dinner, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend for your fine dining experience.
Definitely will return... one of my new favorites. The food is absolutely amazing!Thank you so much for your impeccable service Wendy!
My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience here celebrating my birthday. Our server Chris was attentive, checked in just the right amount of times, and all in all was a wonderful waiter! The mocktail I got was delicious and not too sweet, our calamari appetizer was great, and my fiancé said the bread basket was good. I got the sea scallops which were amazing and quite sizable. My fiancé got the orange chicken and it was tasty as well! I chose the white chocolate crème brûlée for my birthday dessert and it was so incredibly good!
I was in the area for a business trip and Peterson's Steakhouse was suggested to myself for an amazing steak. I started with their prime rib egg rolls for an appetizer. They were out of this world. Now onto the steak... All I can say the 8oz fillet I had was the best steak I have ever had in my life. It was not covered in a ton of seasoning like the big box steak houses do.....just salt and pepper. A small cup of a burbon reduction tasting sauce was served with the steak and it was great! Also their steakhouse mashed potatoes were by far the best mashed potatoes I have ever tasted. I guess when you eat at those other big box steak house, you never taste true beef. I am so thankful for being told about Peterson's Steakhouse. I have been back three time. I drove 6hrs from Cleveland, Ohio to get their food on a sper of the moment roadtrip. The BEST steakhouse around!!!!!!
Everything about Peterson’s was perfect. They made our 48th wedding anniversary memorable in so many ways. Our server Michael was excellent and we truly enjoyed our evening with his presence.
Totally surprised us! We chose Peterson’s just by the reviews online. We were not disappointed! Everything went really well from the salads to the after dinner coffee. Our waiter Bill made it even more pleasant. A great guy!
We ate at a bar top table and had Sergio as our waiter during Devour. It was our first time visiting. We had great Filet Mignons and the food and service was excellent.
Finally tried Peterson’s and happy to say it’s our new favorite restaurant! We all ordered different things, and everything was great. Looking forward to going there again and trying more menu items. Location is convenient and atmosphere is great - nice dinner out without being pretentious. I was able to have some nice wine and great prime rib while feeling relaxed and comfortable.
Peterson's never fails to deliver a wonderful dining experience. They always treat you like a special guest and the food is always superior. One of my favorite places.
Always a fantastic time at Peterson's great food, great service, great atmosphere! Coy, our server, made it an especially memorable night. His recommendations and vibe were top tier making it an 11/10 experience. Definitely recommend going and if you have the pleasure of having Coy you're sure to have a great night!
We went for a meeting and it was ....wonderful. Steak was great and service was great. Thank you very much.
Great place! Went for anniversary dinner and really enjoyed it. Waiters are attentive and excellent! Make sure to get reservations.
Petersons was absolutely delicious! A group of friends, my fiance and I really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the duck ravioli. It was amazing! I tried something different and was really glad I did. Our waiter was great! He was very friendly and lightened the mood in the restaurant because it seemed a little uptight in there lol. He was very welcoming and funny. Others in my group ordered the grouper, steaks, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and a few of the appetizers.
This is a very high-class spot that lives up to its top quality reputation. The ribeye steak was the absolute standout—we enjoyed it the most! The service was equally superb; Thomas was our waiter and he made sure we were well taken care of. While the au gratin potatoes and crab cakes were just okay, the overall top quality food and service guarantee that this Resy-listed experience is worthy of a future return.
Google should make more stars especially for Peterson's. From the time we walked through the door we made to feel welcomed and comfortable. The service was wonderful (Thank you Summer & Ben). The Food from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Prime Rib egg rolls, Lobster Bisque, the Filet and the crab cakes were beyond perfect. Thank you Peterson's and staff for doing it right and restoring my faith in the service industry. KUDOS!
I had an excellent experience overall, though my group did wait nearly 15 minutes before being greeted, which kept me from giving a full five stars. That said, the food was outstanding and our server was attentive, personable, and made the evening enjoyable for everyone. I highly recommend the Medallion Trio, and the Lobster Bisque was every bit as good as expected. The Crème Brûlée was exceptional—arguably the best I’ve ever had (and gone so quickly it didn’t even make it into the photos). I look forward to many more visits here in the future.
Made a reservation for 5pm on a weekday because didn't know how busy they would be. It wasn't very busy but it was still early. Server was very helpful. Cocktails were good quality and taste. Ordered the smoked duck fingers for our appetizer and I had the ribs.
Seen this place a few times on my route at night… so I celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday here… we our server was great!!!… started off with a blue moon beer and a bourbon and lemonade… took me a while to finish that bourbon because it was super strong🫢… then ordered some of those prime rib egg rolls I wasn’t impressed with those at all neither was my girlfriend… they was kinda on the sweet tasting side like soaked in bbq sauce or something we wasn’t feeling those… then I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque. That stuff was AMAZING everything about it was great I even dipped the side bread in it lol. Lastly I ordered a 14oz Filet Mignon butterflied with garlic butter on top and a side of Au gratin potatoes… And the steak was the best part of it all!!! So soft and tender the way it was seasoned was perfect!!! But on the other side my girlfriend didn’t really enjoy it here she didn’t like the and her pork chop meal she ordered was messed up and it took so long to prepare another one she said no and I just shared my steak with her and neither of us like those au gratin really didn’t understand the diced onions was about in there lol made it taste sweet too… they did take her meal off the bill but I felt bad that she didn’t enjoy it on her birthday meal there probably won’t come back 😭but I don’t recommend this place because the steak was great!!!
Wonderful service! Friendly staff who validated our menu choices ☺️ the pomegranate salmon was incredible, my husband enjoyed his steak. Wish it was a little more private seating wise, but the food is delicious!
Came here for our anniversary and really enjoyed the experience. The waiter was really nice and worked to make it a good experience. The food was the drawback here. Wife and I both got prime rib but it was over cooked. I sent mine back and it came back undercooked and a worse cut then I had originally. Sides all needed a bit more salt but that's the only knock on them. Would I go back...maybe. Might go just to see if the food was a fluke. Service was outstanding
The ambiance was great but the service not so much.. I hate to leave bad reviews but our server was just not very attentive at all and knew nothing about the menu. Our drinks were pretty strong which we were ok with lol! Our appetizers were not was described in the menu we got the egg rolls and they were sweet? They did take them off of the bill though… my main problem was my pork chops and they were sweet as well after I asked for the sauce on the side..so I sent those back and then I just got the AU gratin potatoes and I’ll be damned they were sweet as well lol.. I think it was the sweet onions that they used in them! I wouldn’t have a problem returning but I wish they wouldn’t use the same sweet savory option on everything.
Nice place, just not impressed with food. Very bland. Had the crab cake appetizer which didn’t have much flavor with the little sauce dabs provided. The sides Asparagus was not good and the hollandaise sauce wasn’t very flavorful. The Brussels sprouts just had a gross flavor. The ribeye was ordered medium but came out medium well. The Oreo brownie dessert was nothing spectacular either. I do not plan on returning.
The atmosphere was lovely as was the company. However, the meals were less so. The old fashedioned I ordered was half full and didn't even make it above the cube. The steaks were tasteless. No seasoning, just meat. I will say, they were cooked as ordered. My creamy lobster pasta was very disappointing. Overcooked sticky noodles, not creamy and far too many sundried tomatoes. (Not sure anyone could put enough lobster in a dish.) I will say the brussel sprouts were very good. Not what we expected from this highly rated restaurant.
My biggest problem with Petersons is the fact I purchased a gift card for $100 they would not accept due to it being expired. I have eaten here a handful of times with friends from out of town and also had a family dinner with 18 or more people and spent roughly $2500 dollars with appetizers, drinks and food on this occasion. You would think they could honor a $100 gift card even though it was expired. I don’t think I will ever return because of this. Like most people, I work hard for my money and feel like I had $100 stolen from me.
First and foremost our waitress Elizabeth was amazing in every way. She was respectful of our time and allowed my husband and I to enjoy each others company without feeling rushed. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent service. The food had lots to be desired. Though calamari was taken care of by the manager for the longer wait (this was very kind) it was extremely salty. Unfortunately i would not get again. Steak both ribeye and my filet had little to no flavor/seasoning. But on the other hand my husband couldn’t finish his ribeye due to the excessive seasoning in one section. The lobster Mac and cheese was extremely salty and probably the worst I’ve had. We also had ordered lobster tails which had absolutely no flavor as well as the butter. The creamed spinach and a certain bottle of wine was probably the best thing we had for the night. After spending almost 500 I would expect quality to be way better. I personally would not recommend based on the food. Super disappointing
We came here for a special occasion on a Monday night. It took us 1.5 hours to get our entree, and our servers reply was that this is a ‘two hour restaurant.’ We’ve been to plenty steakhouses and fine dining and never had a wait that long for two people or have the waitstaff justify delays in such a manner. The food was ok. The crab stuffed shrimp was overcooked, the chopped iceberg wedge salad was a mess, drenched in so much dressing it was nauseating, and the sweet potato risotto was undercooked. Not once did a manager stop by our table to check in. I would not recommend.
We came for my best friend birthday for the very first time and I wasn’t really happy with our first visit. First off, I ordered a prime rib and it wasn’t good at all ( In my opinion ). They boil their meat then I brought in a cake but the manager came out and said she could bring it out because it had “ an oder to it “. We felt assaulted for her making assumptions that we do ILLEGAL substances! Mind you we were the only people there in the back section. We just wanted her to blow out her candles, that’s it. 4/10 for the experience.
