Mattingly's Tavern

I absolutely love Mattingly's. It is such a fun atmosphere with live bands, lotto, games and a jukebox. The owners Tom and Erin are the most friendly people along with all their staff. This bar is right in the heart of town. If you're looking for a late night bite or just a nice cold beer or cocktail, this is your place. I visit Mattingly's every time I visit New York from California and it's the greatest place.

Saw the World's Demise, Earthquake Logic show here and it was an awesome time. Thanks for having metal bands play. The food was very good. I got the buffalo wings and they were perfectly crispy, meaty and nicely flavored. I recommend checking this place out especially on a live music night.

It’s Derby Day and theres a Derby drink to match. Also many sporting events. Go Bills!!! The Owner Tom Mattingly is a great person who really does care for the patrons. They also have a Wine bar next door “Cork” stop in there to enjoy a variety of great wines. See ya there. RJC.

I was in the area back in December 2023. My brother and I are from Nebraska, and this was the only bar we could find that stayed open past 11pm! We had a blast! Liz was a great bartender, and the locals were fun and welcoming! I don't know if I will ever get back to that corner of our country, but if I'm within 50 miles from this place, I will make a point to stop back in! I can't comment on the food, as we were focused on slamming drinks that night. Mission accomplished!

Went here last night with my Wife for their Wing Night. Wings where terrific, came out fresh hot and just ight every time. The bartender (Jim?) was friendly and attentive. Everything was fantastic.

Was traveling through the area and looking for a good burger. I definitely found one! Their Four Cheese Jack Daniel's burger is to die for!! Their potato flats are a great change from the usual fry. I would definitely stop here again if in the area.

I liked this place the bartender was nice 👍🏽 the owner was there but didn’t say a is everything ok , but ok the fries where delicious the steak burger ok ,it doesn’t have taste , and the wings where good I ordered bbq tang it’s a bit spicy. I mostly liked the beers idk if I’ll ever return maybe next time try something else .🤷🏽‍♀️

I'd give this bar a 3.5/5. The bartender was super sweet and attentive. My fish and chips and my husband's burger were perfectly cooked. The Mattinglys dry rub wings were insanely salty. The bar top is crazy wonky lol and when I wiped some tartar sauce off the bar, my napkin was black. Could definitely stand to replane the wood on the bar tops.

I'd give this bar a 3.5/5. The bartender was super sweet and attentive. My fish and chips and my husband's burger were perfectly cooked. The Mattinglys dry rub wings were insanely salty. The bar top is crazy wonky lol and when I wiped some tartar sauce off the bar, my napkin was black. Could definitely stand to replane the wood on the bar tops.

Got delivery, a chicken sandwich and steak which I paid extra for the bacon and cheese on the steak and barbecue sauce on the sandwich. I didn’t get anything I paid extra for. Food itself was mediocre, definitely not worth the $55 dollars.

Unclean tap lines. Oktoberfest beer was soured on tap and it’s October! Bar pie was like prison food. Cook dropped our pizza to us and said “that’s extra breading”. Whatever that means! Couldn’t even pull the “slices” to separate. Broke a plastic knife trying to get even a piece. It got spit out as soon as the first chew happened. Tasted rotten and hard as a rock! How are places like this still open.
