Opiniones de Shah's Halal Cart Flushing
Nice friendly guy and the foods pretty good and pretty cheap. What more to ask? Combo was only 7 bucks with a free drink
Time and time again, Shah’s Halal cart has been my go to halal cart in all of NY. I’ve tried halal carts from LES, UES, UWS, Flat Iron, Financial District, 53rd and 6th, Astoria, Bayside, etc, and I still come back to Shah’s. I moved to Florida 6 years ago and when I come back to visit family, you bet I’m paying a visit to Shah’s.

Located on the corner of Horace Harding and Kissena, he is the best cart out of the fleet. He is pleasant and kind. Service is quick. Food is fresh. I always get the falafel gyro with dairy free white sauce. Price is excellent and affordable too.
Im a bit sad that the price of a gyro is now $6 instead of $5 but it's still a pretty good deal. Always filling, delicious, portable, and easy to eat
It's a good food cart near my college. I love the lamb dishes and it's a good place to get a lunch/dinner to go. Would recommend!
Very friendly and good food 😊
As far as food truck food goes, they give you your money's worth here. It's either $5 for a gyro or $6 for a platter-- a drink is included.
Good reliable food, always there when needed it
We loved the Delicious lamb gyro with wonderful customer service! TRY BEFORE YOU DENY lol
Been getting food here since I was in college. I still stop by when I’m driving to Long Island. Solid dude! Food is always fresh.
It's a good deal on a platter with a free drink! Great customer service and its quick!
Guy is very nice, always gives big portions and it's cheap. Cash only but food is so good. They have a dine-in resteraunt but I prefer the food truck

I really love the affordability that this place offers as well as the good eats! I really am I big fan of this cart. I would opt for less sauce as it overtake the whole meal, but I really enjoyed it either way!

I first came to Lake Pavilion years ago for dim sum and was neither disappointed nor impressed. But it was only until last night that I treated myself to their banquet style dinner. I was pleasantly delighted. I entered the large hall and sniffed the air. It was clean and cool, not like the normal rancid air of other Flushing Chinese restaurants. Neatly manicured rows of plants decorated the edges. I was impressed by the hygiene of the restaurant -- white tablecloths on every table and the wait staff was dressed in matching purple and white outfits. Then we ordered and the food came. In each dish that arrived, I could taste the "wok hay" -- a term meaning spirit of the wok that breathes out of the food. Sautéed sea whelks in fish sauce were juicy and steaming (albeit small). Lamb chops were tender and not gamy and served atop a mountain of onions. Steak with fried bean curd was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and served with an addictive sauce, and the side of bean curd it was served with had crispy edges. I also enjoyed their cold crab served with vinegar sauce, (a specialty from Chao Zhou), a beast I estimated at around three pounds, when most other competitors serve theirs at a meager 1.5-2 lbs. Even the vegetables were fantastic; at one point I found myself shoveling forkfuls of sugar pea shoots topped with dried scallop threads into my mouth. Luckily, I felt more excitement and joy than embarrassment!!! Service is polite, efficient, and professional. We were offered plate changes often and even warm hand towels at two instances. Dessert is free and consists of sweet bean soup and orange slices.
Standard chicken over rice, tasted good. Good location with easy access. The red sauce was more spicy than usual.

Aroma is awesome...goes right across the street. Food is normally good. But on two occasions I had a not so great experience. The last time, the dude wanted to take a break and didn't make my falafel hot at all. And a month or so ago--one dud was sick--stifling a sneeze as he served me...he should not have been working.

used to come here a lot, but lately the person who handles the cart got so lazy. Always on his phone. And recently they raised the price to $9, but the portion i just got today for Chicken over rice is barely half full. Not coming back to this cart again, going to the one on Melbourne Ave

The chicken over “salad” is just chicken next to a little bit of lettuce.
The guy who's taking care of my food definitely has some attitude issues. He's a very old man, short, bald, with the glasses, and he was on the phone the whole time. Not sure what happened to his life, but he acts very pity, small ego, and very passive aggressive to customers. Won't come back and not recommend at all.
Roll a dice to see if they're open on Saturdays. I can't count the amount of times they just aren't there on Saturdays.
horrible customer service. very stingy with portions. they charge extra for canned corn as a topping! which is just ridiculous!! the ratio quality price is very low here. for the same money you can get much better quality food on campus.
