Had a private (20ish people) mid afternoon event this weekend and I cannot stress how perfect everything from the location/room, attentive service, and incredibly delicious food. Highly highly recommend this for any event - there is no shortage of food and the service is quick to make sure everyone had what they need! My favorites were, in no order, the baked clams, perfect calamari, baked artichokes, penne vodka sauce and such tender veal! What a perfect place for a celebration, the team here knocks it out of the park!

Enjoyed a birthday celebration here with 19 family members. We did reserve a room two months in advance. We were seated in a separate dining room, completely private and relaxing. Very attentive and accommodating waiter took care of us. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and main dishes, as well as the expresso drinks afterwards. Parking was easy with a free parking lot across the street from the restaurant. We’ve have enjoyed dining at this fine Italian restaurant for over 45 years now…

Let’s start with the fact that they were so packed. It was almost impossible to get in. They fit me in. The hostess was lovely. She even ran after me afterwards because I forgot my to-go food. The waiter Nick was so good. He was quick, attentive, knowledgeable, and very charming. I ordered the special artichoke appetizer, which was incredible. And then I followed up with an eggplant rollatini and broccoli rabe, which was so fresh. Everything came quickly despite the crowd- I would recommend this place every day.

5.3 stars; I waited almost three weeks to get a reservation, and I must tell you it was so worth the wait. Michael, our waiter's recommendations for me were the bomb, as in on-point—clean, friendly, and beautiful atmosphere. Coming back again, and this is from a foodie.

Absolutely amazing meal. We went for a baby shower and food was delicious! We had eggplant Parmesan, fried calamari, antipasto platter, pizza bites and more. Our main course was absolutely delicious! I had the grilled branzini and it was cooked to perfection. The string beans were also so delicious we asked for more. The service was exceptional! You don’t really see that anymore! Make it a point to make a reservation!!

Just came from this place celebrating my birthday. We love Nick our server and Santos. Super nice. Food is lovely. Drinks is lovely. Thank you so much for welcoming us. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

I love this place! I have had every life event at this restaurant so it was only right to have my bridal shower here! The food is always amazing with massive portions. The staff treats you like family. I can’t wait to go back. Xoxo

Didn't love my food, can't even say I liked it. I ordered the veal, and it wasn't tender, it was tough. Most of the food here is usually phemonimal. Not this day. It was definitely disappointing. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. Even dessert was disappointing, the Italian cheesecake was way too watery, almost undercooked.

Came to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was old school Italian and it was made right. The ONLY thing I didn't enjoy was my dide of broccoli raab, the garlic tasted a little burnt and gave it a weird taste. It was the only thing we didn't finish. Other than that, we absolutely loved the rest of our meal. We didn't get dessert because we had cake at home, but next time we go we'll definitely try some. The service was fantastic, our waiter was attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything and the bar tender made a fantastic martini. The restaurant ambiance is lovely and it seems to be a go to place for couples and families. I'm glad we decided to check Filomena's out, and I look forward to going back again!

As my grandmother would say, "It'll do in a rush." Upon entering, service is swift and congenial, parking is street. No salads listed but asked. Side salad only came with oil & vinegar on side, with a quick pinch of salt & pepper, not even mixed. Foods are drowned in sauce and could use a bit more care. Alfredo sauce was watery and bland for the Gnocci and Fettucine. Added TONS of Parmesan, Pepper, Lemons and salt. Gnocci was bagged, waterlogged & almost mushed, not homemade. The BASICS of ALL Pasta=salinity, salinity, salinity. Pasta, no matter the shape, should be able to stand on its own, without a sauce. Added Grilled Chicken to the Fettuccine and it was a thinned, dried out sliver piece of cutlet. Service was most hospitable by our Busser versus our assigned waitperson, who barely checked on us and only did so towards the end and check/tip time. We blessed our Busser because THEY "took good care" of us. We weren't even offered drinks, had to ask. Now, their drinks will get you RIGHT and for a reasonable price. Peach Old Fashion was GOOD & STRONG! Lychee Martini with Chambord was a twist. Overall, typical Long Island restaurant, which is why we mainly dine in The City.

We came here on a Saturday at 6 pm. I understand that I didn’t have reservations but we didn’t feel welcomed. The host simply said I don’t have anything! Not even if you wait I can find something just simple I don’t have anything for the night. In a rude dismissive way. Definitely won’t be spending our money where we’re not welcomed.

Such rude customer service I live in the area and had this place bookmarked for so long and called today for a reservation for a party and was given such a rude response. I was told absolutely not for the reservation I was trying to book that is very discouraging as I was looking forward to try out this restaurant in the area hopefully in the future, they’ll be nicer to their callers
