Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. Perfect Pittsburgh rare filet. We dropped in on a weeknight expecting you to be slow and it was packed... So make a reservation! The hostess seated us even though she had a reservation in an hour, or else we would have missed this experience entirely. There was a husband and wife who played violin and bass while we ate who really set the mood. It's worth a trip to Fredericksburg just to eat here. Looking forward to the next trip.

Visited for the first time for the Christmas Eve seating. You can’t beat the ambience and the service might be the best in town. The steaks were done perfectly, the salads were so cold and crisp, and the banana foster cheesecake was to die for. If you want a special night, come here!

We opted for the The Porterhouse , and it was nothing short of perfection—juicy, flavorful, and grilled to absolute perfection. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors! The sides are equally impressive; They complemented the steak beautifully! Service at Jack's is stellar. Our server (Alyse) was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about the offerings. She made excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. To top it all off, the dessert was a delightful end to the evening. I highly recommend the chocolate cake—decadent and delicious! Overall, Jack's Chop House exceeded all our expectations. Wife and I celebrated our anniversary early since next week we'll be working during it. Made the reservation a month ago and the process was smooth. We checked in 15 minutes early (to be prompt and also we were hungry) and they were able to seat us. Megan was our server and was awesome, polite, attentive and friendly. Wife got the Filet and I got the Ribeye and we got the potatoes au gratin and roasted carrots. Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere were perfect and we were very happy to have the opportunity to eat here. We didn't get dessert as we were very full but will have to try another time!

We celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary there. My husband loved the ribeye and I loved the shrimp linguini. We shared the scalloped potatoes and they were delicious filled with cheese. Our drinks were an old fashioned and lemon drop martini. We ended the night with a serenade from the staff and an awesome cheesecake slice. I think the prices are comparable for an upscale evening. Definitely worth it! Oh, our waiter Andy was outstanding! Everything was amazing! The New York vibe set a vibrant mood. We will definitely be back!

We came as a party of five to celebrate our adult son’s birthday. Our daughter and SiL live in town and she thought she made Reservation for Saturday night. She did not complete the steps on the email reservation! But they ways able to accommodate our party in the patio! The fall weather was perfect and the staff was so attentive! We started with bread and they made a tableside dipping sauce with olive oil, oil, fresh garlic, and balsamic. Portions are large so we shared an Italian house salad, New York strip, a ribeye, candied Brussel sprouts and their famous potato hash casserole. We also ordered the tableside tiramisu and they brought out a banana fosters cheesecake with a sparkler on top to celebrate our son‘s birthday. It was a wonderful celebration. We are so thankful that the staff accommodated our group with the reservation that we thought we had made.

Nicole went above and beyond to help me lock in our reservation and made sure every detail was in place for a special evening. I cannot express how much I enjoyed this restaurant. We brought my mother to celebrate her 60th birthday unfortunately we made the reservation at restaurant by the same name in a different city. Although they were completely booked out, they were able to accommodate us! The absolute best customer customer service and the best food . Drinks and food- chefs kiss! Definitely the best place to celebrate a special occasion! Our waitress Ali was superb. Jason was a lifesaver for our special occasion .

Jack's has done a phenomenal job carving out a slice of upscale in Fredericksburg. First off, the staff is 100% on point and work well together, always there when you would want them, invisible when you don't. (Special shoutout to Amanda) Cocktails were perfect; the steak and lamb were likewise impeccable. The cheesecake they comped for our anniversary was a super cool way to end the meal. We will be back everytime we'rein Fredericksburg. One last thought, don't sleep on the Bada Bing Calamari, it was so good I couldn't get a picture.

What an amazing experience! The steak was on point. We sat at the bar, where we enjoyed happy hour along with selections from the regular menu. We started with the meatballs for an appetizer, and for dinner, we shared the bone-in New York strip along with the Italian salad and the amazing potato casserole topped with candied bacon — definitely order this! First, I have been to all top steakhouse in America so my rating and comparison is based on that overall experience. I like the ambience and overall decor. The atmosphere is women-friendly, which is importatnt to all patrons. I really enjoyed the ribeye steak, 5-star. The bone marrow maybe 3.5 star- at least the one I had almost no marrow, and although the cheese shell on top was tasty, it overshadowed the point of bone marrow. The cream spinach was decent, although I think it could have more smoky flavor. My favorite part was our server Aurora! She is attentive and welcoming. She has eyes for details ans suggestions for what to order and what temperature to enjoy. She also did Sth for our special occasion which is memorable! A small suggestion would be offering some free corn bread or olive bread. We like to have them in the steakhouse and it adds the richness and layers of taste when we eat steak :)

So when you walk in, your are greeted and hosts are amazing they did make me aware of the no baseball cap policy, and respectfully said I could hang it on the hat hanger. Then my fiancé and I proceeded to the bar first come first serve seating. They brought out a small appetizer with tomato mozzarella and basil with balsamic sauce. It was good for a conversation while looking over the menu. Well let's cut to the chase everyone comes for the TOMAHAWK.... OK BEEF that's what is known in TEXAS the beef state. Well I was shocked to spend that type of money on a steak and it was TASTELESS. I was asked about how it tasted and I whispered to a lady next to me it is crispy, oily, meaty, but needs salt. Welp the owner happened to hear me 👀👀 and He yelled to the servers GET THE SALT..... I laughed cause I didn't realize he was the owner until he left. I will always tell people never ask for any Sauces or Salt at a STEAKHOUSE. WELL THEY BROUGHT ME THE MEGA dish of salt, I gently sprinkled about 10 particles of salt and it made a world of difference. We share brussel sprouts and the sliced potatoes the side was really good. So now for the finale. We laughed had an amazing time all staff was super kind and supportive. We laughed because a salt comment i made and it was the highlight of the night on VALENTINES DAY. We got served the best desert platter. Cheese cake, crispy (fried ice-cream) with cannoli. Yes they put a big spark on it, my goodness the laughter and cheers continued. I hope this helps people seek and honest review, again if you put an honest review it helps out the businesses. The price vs expectations would be the valid argument, yes most people are used to seasoned steak, especially when it says dry aged for 60 days, I personally felt it could have been better seasoned. We did enjoy the lifestyle at Jack's and we would go back for a second run and try other things.

We had such a nice dinner experience at Jack's Chophouse Thursday night that we went back on Saturday for their incredible happy hour lunch. The have the best happy hour in town. We had the good fortune of having Megan as our server both times. We enjoyed steaks, salad and sides for dinner. For lunch, we had the lasagna dinner with discounted bottle of Chianti. Came here on a random weekend. The server was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is cute with a lot of JFK memorabilia Unfortunately, that's where the good things ended. The ribeye was extremely tough and difficult to chew. It was more like a NY strip. The taste was good though and it was cooked to medium rare as ordered. FYI, it comes pre-sliced. The hamburger was extremely dry and crumbled apart. It was ordered medium rare and came out well done like a leather shoe. The fries were good though. The trout was fresh but bland. We asked for some sauce and there was a $4 extra charge. The food took an hour to come out and we came right around when they opened. They also charge a 3% fee for using credit card. Whole meal was $212 with 22% tip. Really cannot recommend this place and won't be returning.
