Benaddiction is a popular breakfast and brunch spot known for its creative menu, 90s theme, and friendly service. The Eggs Benedict and pancakes are highly praised, though some find the seasoning overpowering. Be prepared for a wait, especially during busy hours.

Tip: Worth the wait, but if you're short on time, come back when you have more time to spare. The lemon pancake with blackberry sauce is shareable.

My first time here and it lives up to the reputation. Cozy cool vibe, booths, open seating and a little patio. Great part of town with no nonsense hanging around. The menu is extensive and as I scrolled through it on my phone, there wasn't a plate that didn't look appetizing. Highly recommend and definitely try the pancakes!
I'm not speaking in hyperbole when I say that Benaddiction has the best pancakes that I've had in my life. Sorry, Mom! My better half agrees. I always order the lazaretto pancake (single) without the powdered sugar. There's something about the way their pancake has a slight crisp on the outside, but still buttery and fluffy on the inside. And they taste the same every single visit, so the cooks are consistent. Bonus? They cook the bacon the way that I ask. No floppy, chewy bacon here! This is a really, really good breakfast spot... especially for the traditional breakfast staples served by a super friendly staff.
I recently popped into this venue for breakfast and I was happy I did. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. All their menu options looked awesome they had sweet to savory all covered. They had an indoor dining area, patio, and bar too. I enjoyed both meals my table ordered and the staff was great. I’d highly recommend checking them out. I’ll definitely be back.
This was our first time trying this restaurant as it was recommended to us! The entire experience was awesome and I absolutely recommend this place to get any breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food is unique in its style. It tweaks common classic recipes and turns them into works of food art. We got the chicken fried steak (All My Exes Live in Texas) and the French toast made with whiskey and bananas (Pumped Up Kicks). They were delicious and we didn’t leave one speck of food left!! The staff that helped us was so kind and friendly too. (Shout out to Cody!) 10/10 recommend.
Worth the wait. Worth the wait. Did I say worth the wait? If there's a wait, and you have the time...stay, eat and be merry. If not, come back when you have time. Our server was attentive. We shared the lemon pancake with the blackberry sauce-it's so big it's shareable. I can't think of the actual name of the items we ate, but enjoy the pictures below. She had the biscuits and country gravy, with bacon, eggs and breakfast potatoes. I had the fried chicken sandwich with French fries.
Very nice breakfast and lunch spot. Probably one of the most creative and fun menus in town. I've always had great experiences, mostly at the Bullard and Marks location. Easy parking here and much more seating both inside and out. Olivia was our server and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Coffee is excellent also. We had the Hotel California and the Get Rhythm. Both were done very well and served promptly. Would definitely recommend.
Breakfast all day with a 90s theme, simply the best. So glad we stopped in on our trip up to Yosemite. The menu had so many great options, it was difficult to choose. The benedicts are where it's at here. But the pancakes were also really good. The 90s theme and the service here were awesome. Highly recommend giving this place a try.
I am a NYC chef and I approve of this restaurant, I literally love this place!!!! Was just passing bye on my way to LA and now I want to move next door to this place!!!! I had the Motown Benedict and it was amazing 😻. The lemon the shallots in the hollandaise play perfectly against the thinly sliced meat. And take bite for bite with extra crispy hash browns you will not regret the decision. Wish there was one of these in LA. Please 🙏 if you have a moment to come here stop bye and eat something you will be transported to Nirvana. Also staff is super friendly, awsome vibe inside with an outdoor patio.
Amazing breakfast place, definitely a hidden gem in the fresno area, and if you know, then you know absolutely amazing pancakes. My mother ordered a to go order after smelling my plate... it's that good super fresh and did I mention Amazing
This place has been a favorite due to the amazing food and atmosphere. In their new location there is more space for people to enjoy. I like to try something different every time I go. I’ve never been disappointed. Today I split the Santeria with my gf and we both loved the smoky flavor and mild heat.
Couldn’t be prouder of the restaurant that James has curated. As the mural says, if you’re looking for ordinary, this is not the place for you! I’m a self proclaimed Benedict snob and the Hollandaise sauce was delicious! Fresh, local ingredients & house made sauces, just make classic brunch options magical. Do yourself a favor and ask for a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice! The novelty coffee mugs just add the experience.

Everything about this place is great. One of our top 3 favorite places to go in Fresno. The dishes are always creative and uniformly excellent. Never had a single issue with the servers (the service isn't slow, folks - the restaurant is busy and you have to wait your turn), who are all friendly and knowledgeable. Anyway, ignore the bizarre negative reviews and eat here.
Been coming to Benaddiction for 10+ years. James knows how to run a business and Cody is an excellent server. Always a pleasure talking to either of them. I leave happy whenever I come here to eat. Will always recommend this place in NE Fresno for those who’re new to Fresno and want to support small, ethical businesses or those who’re looking for a good breakfast and lunch restaurant.

I AM OBSESSED! As someone born and raised in the South, I can be very judgemental towards gravy and countri fried steak. THE ALL MY EXES LIVE IN TEXAS BLEW MY MIND. I brought my two year old, and he vibed. It was cool enough to chill with my brother but chill enough to not worry about my todler running around. Also, I sent pictures of the walls to my darling husband, who's millenial heart nearly exploded with glee at the Sonic Youth poster. 10 out of 10 recommend, except I will feel very sad if this place starts building a line.

It was great to try this restaurant before its official close. I enjoyed the two Benedict sandwiches; Hollandaise sauces went well with the eggs and tots. Salad was fine. The vibes were great with the CDs and posters.
It's hard not to give this place 5 stars.. the food was very good, I came with family and we all enjoyed our food. The service was good without being overbearing. The place was a cool 90s vibe.. large portion of coffee. I had the Birria Benedict and really liked it.
Delicious food. Great service. Loved the decor, even in the restroom! They have music cds, random posters, and art work. The food is worth the price. I’ve eaten their food both in the restaurant and for take out and have no complaints
Love the ambience of this place with all the music themed stuff. The waiter was great. For the food, we had mixed results. Bottom line, when you go here order some form of eggs Benedict! We ordered the Tom Sawyer and the one with hash in it and they were both excellent. The other stuff we ordered was just mediocre. The Baba O'Reilly burger was OK, the omelette was fine, and the avocado toast was average. It all depends on what you order.

The food is always great. Unfortunately the service is not. It feels like the owner just hired a bunch of relatives that have no experience in the food service industry. They get overwhelmed by the smallest crowds. It just feels very chaotic, but like I said, the food is great. This last time we ate there, we waiting 10 minutes at the counter before anyone talked to us (wasn't much of a problem), then the host told us where to sit. Shortly after, the waiter came over and told us it was not okay to sit at a table without checking in first. We had no idea what he was talking about, lol I don't think he did either. Then he took out order and never checked in on us until it was time to pay. And the worst part is they stand right there waiting for you to answer if you will tip and how much on the credit machine. I still gave them a 15 percent tip, wanted to leave less. I hope this place gets it together, I really love the food and I want it to do well.

The place had a very cool vibe, the food looked delicious, and service was stellar. However the food itself was oversalted and way too seasoned. The hollonaise sauce was overpowering, the potatoes were good but I will not be coming back to this place again.

10/26/22 first time customer here. Came to the north location and was very disappointed to say the least…. Wanted to grab something with my girlfriend before starting our workday and food was nasty other than decent at best French toast… fries were undercooked so basically still hard potato, tacos were soggy. So left with a grumpy stomach and time wasted as we ordered at 11:46am. Expected pickup as said at 12:20ish and ended up being there until closing.😐 utensils weren’t given as chosen on website, to go bag was small and tacos put sideways??? So tacos were a mess. Would expect a bigger plastic baggie to carry all this. And asked if at least we could get a cup of OJ on the house for the big wait. They don’t have to but any business wanting more business after a not so pleasant wait would usually have no problem. So they declined and only were willing to give a lemonade which was filled with ice mostly. Definitely won’t be trying again. Guess batter up is the place to go for now.

The booth my group was seated at was wiped down and left super wet and smelling dirty and moldy. When my dish arrived, it also smelled dirty, making it hard to enjoy my meal between the bad scent of the table and plate. The restrooms were quite filthy... Overall, cleanliness really seems to be the biggest issue.
