Ordered Veg Lo Mein with Tofu and Chicken Lo Mein for takeout. Food was ready on time for pick up! Lo mein was delicious and this was the hands down best lo mein I have ever had. I am going back for this again.

St Louis native here. Oh how I miss my STL style fried rice and Golden Pot has it. I was missing my egg, green peppers a green onions but its so good i didnt realize until my 4th visit, AND I DIDNT CARE! Its the feel of home that made the 3 hour drive worth it.

We've been going here for years (It's the Bent Tree, sauce on side, no onions crew!). The rating on Google is so misleading - This place literally is amazing. They will help out with all sorts of odd requests, so tip heavy, please. Add to good food, they delivery within a stupid fast time frame and we are always amazed at just how nice everyone is to us. I had a 89th birthday for my mom that I wanted Golden Pot to cater. They make all her favorite Chinese dishes. They are usually closed on Mondays. They offered to come in and cook for my event. They even offered to deliver and I live in Celina. I told them that was not necessary. They are the true meaning of a family friendly and family owned restaurant. Don’t pass this gem olio a restaurant up. Everything was amazing and fresh.

My Wife and I are from NYC. We been trying to find a Chinese restaurant for 3 years already since we moved. None like this in the DFW AREA, This one right here is awesome. Carrots fresh✔️, Broccoli fresh ✔️ Shrimp is super fresh peeled, deveined, doesn’t have a bad after taste like most. Sauce ✔️ Best shrimp I have had here in Texas! Customer Service really nice, they recommended Mongolian to me and I loved it. Tasted fresh! My wife got the Shrimp and broccoli! Next time I wanna try the chicken wings! To be continued! Food was very tasty. Portions are good and food tasted fresh. On par with other Chinese food places in the area with regards to cost. Had the General Tso’s chicken and it wasn’t heavily breaded like other places. It had good ratio of chicken to breading. Chicken Lo Mein had good amount of chicken would have liked a little more veggies but overall it was delicious. Will ask next time if they have a veggie fried rice, our meal came with plain fried rice - soft and cooked right. Wonton soup was delicious as well! Will be my new spot for Chinese

The best Curry Singapore noodles in the far North Dallas/Suburb area so far I’ve had. Just the right level of spice. I went with the combination meat and it’s just delicious. Also picked up some chicken egg rolls (not pictured) that were fried to perfection. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

If you are from the Midwest and love St. Louis styled fried rice! This place will make you feel like home. The only place in the DFW area with authentic fried rice. And the chicken wings are the absolute best. I recommend this spot only

Friendly staff that is consistent in what they do. The lunch specials are awesome with plenty of variety. Can't go wrong. i have been coming here for over 5 years. Can't miss Chinese restaurant with good quality food. Egg drop soup is the best.

This is my new favorite place! My husband and I first had visited and dined in. Everything was amazing! Then tried having it delivered and it was great!! Food was still piping hot and was handled with care. Definitely my new go to.

Also more selections than Diet Coke. An option of Coke Zero or Diet Dr Pepper would be favorable. The meal was fine, but I disliked the thin paper plates as dinner ware. The dining room was nice, but paper plates are for the back yard bbq.

- First-time visitor - Service was fine - Ordering was okay - Food was good - It wasn't packed, and we were able to get in quickly - They only serve Coke products or so it seems. Only bottles products to drink drink - I opted not to have shrimp in my lo mein bc of an allergy, but they still put the fried shrimp of my bf's order together with my egg roll on the same plate. I found this annoying bc of a shellfish allergy. They didn't correct it. We had to order AND pay for a new egg rolls for me. I don't even remember an apology. - Portion sizes were large. I had food left to go. I liked that option. - I also noticed a flyer/menu in today's today's circulars, but the coupon were not good unless you're spending $30+. This is fine if you're on a dinner date, but I'd never spend that on lunch for I've. - Overall, I would visit again during lunch to see if prices are lower.

Ordered fried Wonton & it was overcooked or leftover from a prior day. Too hard to bite/chew. Being overcooked takes away the flavor. However I enjoy the shrimp fried rice.

First time trying this place, very disappointing. We had two main dishes, one of them had a rancid smell and drenched in sauce. The second dish tasted nothing like what I ordered, vegetables were not cooked. Soup was tasteless. Dishes were decent priced and cashier was extremely helpful and sweet but I don’t recommend this place if you enjoy Chinese food.

Order $40+ worth of food on door dash. Not one item was edible. The fried shrimp was bland and mushy. The egg roll tasted sour and was tiny. The chow mein was drowning in sauce. I've never seen that much sauce on an entree. The veggies are supposed to be crunchy, not soggy. I won't try them again.
