Made arrangements to take a hungry high school hockey team for breakfast between tournament games. Talked with Bryan snd he assured me he would gave the maple room ready for us. When we arrived, the room was ready, servers were ready and kitchen was staffed to quickly get our food out. Checking out was great despite multiple checks snd players not sitting with parents. Miss. Shari was a blessing this morning. I'm hours early for work and decided to stop here at IHOP to have coffee and breakfast. Miss. Shari greeting me at the door. With a smile after working all night. Her spirit was awesome. And I felt her energy. Her customer service was outstanding. She even allowed me to charge my phone. She introduced me to the cheesecake pancakes and they are delicious. She constantly checked on me and how I was doing. If more restaurants could hire a Miss. Shari eating out would be so much better. I'm not a fan of IHOP but because of Miss. Shari I will be coming back to this pacific IHOP. Her smile, her service, and just her being loving this early has won me over. This is the best ihop. My coworkers and I come in every Thursday night/early Friday morning and the manager and Sheri are so incredibly friendly. They see us when we walk in and have our drinks and food memorized each time. Such a dynamic duo! What a great experience every time!

International House Of Pancakes is open 24 hours. I believe after Covid this may be the only sit down dinning restaurant that is open 24 hours. We went for a very early dinner around 5pm. There was only one other family when we reached but few other family came while we were there. But restaurant seemed to be fully staffed and provide excellent service. As inflation is rising restaurants have started to cut corners, reduce portion size and/or reduce or eliminate ingredients. But it seems IHOP is immune to inflation. There were four of us and mainly ordered various forms of omelet and pancakes. Since egg prices have gone thru the roof I was wondering if IHOP has made any changes to their portion size as many other restaurants have done. To my surprise they have not changed their portion size. Not only the main entree even the sides were of the usual large portion. The ingredients used were fresh and were generous used. See the pictures I have attached. Pancakes were also very delicious and fluffy. Hash browns were cooked well. My whole family was extremely satisfied with the food quality and taste. The serive was good and environment was clean. I would highly recommend this place for any meal at any time of the day or night 😀

IHOP came through like a champ. Walked in craving pancakes, walked out questioning why I ever eat anywhere else before 11am. Service? On point. We eat at IHOP every Sunday after church and the service is excellent. We love to get Niru as our server. Our food is always quick, hot and delicious. The manager even comes around to check on us as well. We always look forward to our breakfast when we are here.

I have been an ihop avoider since before the covid lockdown due to generally distasteful food, poorly trained and monitored staff, subpar cleanliness, BUT.. My wife and I wanted breakfast after dropping the kids off at the airport, and happily we decided to give ihop a shot this time. Boy, were we quite pleasantly surprised! Spotlessly cleaned, polite and professional staff, well prepared and displayed food, and the waitress Alma was a pleasure to deal with. Bravo! It impressed us enough to do what we NEVER do… call the manager over to compliment him for how he was running his restaurant and how much we appreciated that. He was on top of everything and monitoring his staff’s performance the whole time. Nice guy. If you live in the Mckinney/Frisco Texas area and you’ve been wishing for a really nice ihop, go here. Visited the IHOP in Frisco at Preston & 121 tonight (not the one closest to my house), and everything was absolutely on point. The food was as close to perfect as it gets—hot, fresh, and exactly how it should be. The real standout, though, was our waiter John. Friendly, attentive without hovering, quick with refills, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and that level of service makes a huge difference. Came here super late and still had a good experience. The waiter was very good and attentive. The quesadillas didn’t have much flavor but the jalapeños helped. The place was poppin surprisingly at around 3am and they still handled everything well.

I ate with my two toddlers and had Sadie as our server! She was so kind and attentive especially to my babies. Our food came out fast and fresh. It was absolutely delicious. I took my nine year old here for breakfast today. I have to say, the food was very well prepared (no foodie pics this time, we just tucked in) and delicious! Portions were huge, and this is the only chain I've ever heard of where your side can be a stack of three full sized pancakes. The service was good but slow. Restrooms were pretty nasty - thus, the four star rating.

It's a nice choice for weekend brunch. There is ala carte as well as combo options. Combo of Pan-Cake with scrambled egg n hush brown is a good choice. The choice of individual item is nice too. I loved its Spinach Mushroom omelette. On the top of this, the icing is hot n cold beverages. Staffs are so warm n cordial. Will visit again soon. :-)

It was good experience. We went on New Year's day for lunch and looked like they were short staffed, and waited for 7/8 minutes until we were seated ( 7 people). Ordered spinach mushrooms omelette, pesto egg-white omelette and fried fish platters. All the omelettes were very yummy!! Fish platters were not Wow but served fresh and hot with tartar sauce. Sorry no pictures for the fish platters and egg-white omelette but spinach mushrooms omelette and french toast picture is attached. Service could be slightly better but overall it was good on a busy day at Frisco Preston road location.

Tried the new savory bacon crepe and the cinnabun crepe. The savory crepe was soo good. The cheese sauce, bacon, hashbrowns, and eggs stuffed in the crepe... just belonged together it was so good. The cinnabun crepe wasn't as good so replaced with the cinnastack. The cinnastack was really good too it definitely satisfied my cinnamon craving. Our waitress was Ashley and she had great service. She made sure our food was cooked to our liking and that we were happy with it. We purchased some gift cards but the process was complicated and took a while because of the system they use.

We came here as it is the go to place for teenagers and came here with our teenagers kids. When I looked at the reviews I was expecting it to be bad but it was actually good. Prices are not high, the fruit was fantastic, the pancakes fab, and the our waitress Ashley was an absolute star, thank you for looking after us. Visited twice for this location for the same dinner time (09:00 pm). This is runnig with under staffed. Running out of staff doesn't impact the business but if they are unable to provide a seat or atleast just a welcome is making us unhappy. 4 adults and 4 kids reached at 9:00 pm. by the time we are at the reception, only 2 customers were having their dinner. Two staffs were there to respond the customer request. They saw us but didn't respond ask us take a seat. The tempatrature was down on that day. We ordered the food which were listed in the photo. There is no issue with the food they provided. but i find the spoons are used and they didn't washed it properly. Next, We asked hot water, they supplied with dust. This is also shown on the photo.The person who was attending our request already mentioned that he is new and pre apologize if he does any mistakes. I accept that. We repeat one order for a omlette, the first order was awesome and we expected the same but the repeated order was a failure, they messed up all the options. We clearly mentioned the bill to repeat the same. Note: by the time when were having dinner there are 2 more customer's and they were welcomed and alloted seats immediately. It is unfair. Improvements required: 1. Management has to increase their staff count by adding one more staff. It's a request 2. Please verify the plates / spoons are well cleanned 3. You can take the order a bit late not an issue. but please ask the customer to be seated. Even they are making mistakes, I have provided the tips. I will come back one more time to see for improvements. I will definitely revert back the ratings if i am happy with my next visit.

I usually don’t write reviews like this because I respect the hard work behind the business and want it to do well. The food was good, but I felt the service could have been better. When I first asked for a receipt, I was given only the credit card payment slip. After I insisted for a detailed bill, I noticed an extra coffee charge. That’s when the waitress mentioned it was because my wife had taken a couple of sips from my cup. This wasn’t explained upfront, and it caught me by surprise. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests

I don’t know what the problem was, the smell was so bad. I asked the server what was wrong, but she didn't want to say anything. We were just seated because we had already ordered the food. My kids couldn't resist it. They were supposed to explain the situation, not worth paying 60 dollars for breakfast we didn’t enjoy. It’s like eating in a restroom.

Came in with my family to eat for halloween. Elion? Eliah? (I honestly forgot his name but I do remember it started with an E) Was unfriendly and unkind. He honestly made our Halloween meal uncomfortable. I would not return to this location.

I went in today at around 10:30, and we had a Mexican or Indian waitress ( I couldn't really tell, she had a weird accent) who was horribly rude when I asked for a straw. She said to hold on really rudely, and said I was asking for things too fast and that I needed to relax. When I asked her to clarify something on the menu, she was rude about it and made me feel like I was stupid, and she kept listening in on my conversation with my friend. Lastly, when it came to paying, she put her own tip when swiping my card without even asking. A horrible lady with no sense of class needs to be fired. The staff was horrible and will not be coming back.

Spoiled Steak!!!!!!! My family and I went to this location on Preston road tonight. We just felt like eating breakfast. I ordered the steak omelette, my daughter had a milkshake with the wrap and my husband had his meal with the sausage ect. As I started eating I noticed a funny taste in my omelette. We usually go to the one in Allen but they were busy. So I know what my steak is supposed to taste like. I told my waitress (she was so nice and kind) and immediately she goes, “this is the third time someone has said the steak tastes like that!” It didn’t taste like steak at all. It tasted like microwave old sour steak. She left to get the manager and he comes over like we are aggravating him and says “I just took that out, well what else do you want?” He was very rude and dismissive in my opinion. My husband tasted my daughter’s milk shake and said it tasted funny too. We just decided to pay what we owed and just left. I will be reporting this to the health department because I don’t want anyone to get sick. I tasted a few pie before I noticed so I’m praying I don’t get sick.

The food was ok but there was a hair or some kind of string on the syrup and once I saw that my appetite left. Once I told the server they got the manager and all they said is they would take the item off my bill. No apologies, no we can remake that for you. Just take plate, syrup and disappear. I would not be eating there again.

We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes from the food to arrive after our order. There were empty tables so it wasn't so busy. Waiter was MIA a lot of the time. There was a waitress next to us who was so bold and loud, customers were laughing at the absurdity of it or shaking their heads in frustration. She was rude to customers and so so loud, yelling from the opposite of tables to other tables 2 tables away to tell them what to do. I got up to use the restroom and she yelled. "WHAT DO YOU NEED?" Then she realized I was going to the restroom and yelled, "Its okay, I've got you. " ???? So unprofessional.

My visit was characterized by substandard product quality and, more distressingly, a complete lack of professional conduct from the store manager. ​Key Issues for Review: ​Substandard Product Quality & Presentation: The "short stack" pancakes I ordered were significantly undersized and served in inappropriate packaging. ​Unprofessional Management Conduct: Upon requesting a correction, the manager on duty was dismissive, judgmental, and overtly rude. Instead of attempting a service recovery, he chose to be argumentative regarding the size of the food, creating an unnecessarily hostile interaction. ​Failure to Provide Basic Amenities: The staff failed to provide basic necessities, such as plastic cutlery, even upon direct request. This further highlights a breakdown in fundamental service standards. ​The behavior exhibited by the manager is a poor reflection of your brand. A leadership role requires de-escalation skills and customer empathy, both of which were entirely absent during this encounter. This level of service is unsustainable and will undoubtedly lead to a continued loss of patronage for this location. ​I request that this incident be investigated and that you provide an update on how you intend to rectify the situation and improve the management standards at this branch.

Came in around 8:30am, 12/11/2025 with my little girl. Atmosphere was very off. We sat at the South West of the restaurant(orientation from front door a looking at the building) Waitress gave a look, is the best why to describe it. She was very unsociable with noticable tone drops. Food was...ok... I Would not recommend blacks visit this location.

The place is a dump. I am sorry for my words but this is place is too bad. Service: I arrived at 9 pm CT. Server provided the menu at 9:10 pm. The order came around 9:35 pm without any silverware. Silverware came after 2 mins. There is only one server. Food: what pathetic food. I ordered fish and chips. I shown in picture, the fish coating was rock hard. Overcooked and over burnt. Fries were pathetic as well. I dont understand, its on your menu, how can you make it bad? Also, I dont feel fine after eating that food. Hygiene: As shown in picture, you will notice the tiny fly on my banana foster. It was too much. Overall the place is pretty pathetic and an absolute disappointment. I would need my money back if possible.

Like other reviews I see that they are under staffed. But I guess he is the manager. He is trying to do many things at once and it hurts the service. Took my son to the restroom and it was disgusting. I had to clean it before I was able to sit my kid down to use the toilet. We got here before other customers and we were served our drinks and food way later after them. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. When the food was brought out I had ordered a burrito and he brought me tacos and asked me if this was ok. I told him no. that I wanted what I ordered. We had to ask for water 2 times. When I ordered my food they asked if I wanted fries and I said no. That I wanted hash browns. When my food came out I had no hash browns and said they were in the burrito. So I don't know why I got asked if I wanted a side if it's in the burrito. The breakfast sampler my wife got was good like usual. The pancakes were a little dry. But they are ok. they did give us a discount for the inconvenience but that was not reflected on the bill. Don't understand why say a discount will be applied and then not do it. Worst service we have ever gotten. Won't be coming back here.
