Fried rice was under cooked. Walnut shrimp was a bit soggy. Staff at this location need be on top of the food being served there.
The food is excellent. Always fresh. Vegetables are cooked perfect. Plates are very filling. Plenty to take home if you choose
Food was so delicious all these people making horrible reviews have obviously never worked in fast food. The people that come into the store are entitled and very rude it’s a miracle that the workers don’t yell at every single one of you. It’s honestly appalling that people say such mean things YOU are the problem not the workers who are overwhelmed and overworked. Obviously they aren’t going to have everything ready at 10am on the dot !! Who do you even think you are showing up to a Panda Express at 10AM?? reevaluate your life before commenting rude things to mostly minors, at your grown age think before you speak please. There are also rules that they need to follow when they are making your plate as well so that also isn’t their fault get a life and stop complaining.
I don't think anyone should pay more than $5 to get filled up. Unless of course you're eating Chinese food. $10 will fill you up and you will have leftovers Maybe. It all tastes good and worth the extra 5 to get filled up...
This is the best Panda Express around. Always have the best shrimp, the freshest and best cooked beef, and delightful chicken. Pork looks good too but i haven't tried it. The service is friendly and works as a team. I reccomend all my friends, family, and people reading this review to go to this specific Panda Express.

I LOVE the freshness of the food and hot. I have never had bad food from them. Unlike most of the well known fast food places. Do YOURSELVES a favor , next time you don't want to cook or can't take your money there. Its really no more expensive than the drive thru of HB places. The food is good and better quality as well as better for you.
I had the sweet fire chicken (more sweet than heat and I am fine with that), the honey sesame chicken, and fried rice. Every one of those tasted freshly prepared and delicious. We were able to sit in a very clean booth and overall it was a top-notch PE experience. This location seems to be better than the one I used to go to, and I wish I could teleport it closer to my home.
I went through the drive through today. I really didnt order enough food obvious by the bill. I ordered another whole plate at the window. Those ladies were kind, helpful and fast. It did not have enough wait time to bother others behind me. I got my food home and it was perfect.
I ordered online for pick up. I went inside and I was impressed with the whole crew. They were bustin it on orders and didn't miss a beat. More so they were checking and monitoring the food temp...which is AWESOME. Always cleaning around the food and prep stations. My order was correct🙌 and was delicious. Great job!!!! Thank you!!!

I really enjoy panda express.i get the plate with double orange chicken and half rice and half noodles. It sure is a nice change than just a cheese burger and fries. The service is great and the prices seem to be cheaper than a burger and fries. All panda express that I have gone to is always the same. Great service and food.
They always seem to get something wrong. I had to go back in to get the orange chicken I ordered. Good thing I checked. It's a 3 item plate. There was just a little beijing beef and a while lotta rice. Like a comical amount of rice. I even saw the girl look in the container.
Usually always pretty good however, the last time we were there, they had no rice, no honey walnut shrimp, and one other item. Not a big deal just kinda bummed out about the rice!
Great customer service but the portion given at most Panda's always seems small. Regardless, the food was great and it was clean.
As a customer i think is not right that you go and you get treated with attitude just because you ask for sweet and sour sauce they gave me 3 packages like the fast food restaurant style ketchup packages so i ask for more and she answered with attitude saying that there only allowed to give 3 little packages per customer because they had to save them for the entries
UPDATED REVIEW: HUGE improvement from when I was last here! Almost 100% better! Amazing customer service compared to last time! other than small cleanups needed here and there, the place is very well kept up. And best of all, I was able to truly ENJOY the food again because the food was cooked just right!
Big line but worth the wait for freshly made teriyaki chicken and. Everything was great, but the flies inside the restaurant were distracting from a comfortable meal.
Food was pretty good as usual. This Panda had some pretty fresh food compared to others I've been to. The only thing that I didn't like was its cleanliness. The table we were on was sticky and a few had food particles on them and with children eating, lots on the floor. Suggest someone be on dining area duty to keep it cleaner.
We like the food there but I put 3 stars on service because they got the order wrong. Frustrating when you drive all the way home and discover it was not what you ordered.
25 to 30 minutes the wait for the Teriyaki. One time is cool but is happening more often. I think they should cook Teriyaki before they ran out
The food is good like always but the service is awful, they told us they would bring out the food to our car within 10 minutes, we waited for 20 along with someone ahead of us just for us to have to go inside and get it instead. Wish they told us 🙄
Went with DNL as that's one of her likes, but I personally don't like sweet food unless it's a desert. I ate the beef with broccoli and it was tolerable. It probably good if you like Chinese food . Sorry 😐!
Food was old, hard, and dry. We ordered the orange chicken plate with rice and veggies. The food had far exceeded its holding time. Couldn't have been any more disappointed in a restaurant. It is very difficult to get my grandson to eat and this was his favorite place and food - until now!
Usually one of the best Panda Expresses but tonight they seem a little short staffed and short on food. The employees seem like they're trying their best to handle the stress and be polite and respectful but it's easy to see they're tired and probably not having the best work day. I hope they keep their spirits up as fast food really takes a toll on you. Other than that, great place.

This is the 2nd time we attempted to purchase food and they are out of most of the selections. Several workers but NO food. The sitting area full of customers waiting for food to be cooked.
I am a fan of panda express, but the drive through is no good. Every time I go through the drive through, they mess up my order and they don't give me enough food. When I go inside they have never missed a beat, and the food is always perfect. One of those life lessons.
I understand they were kinda busy, which is why I normally wouldn't complain for a little wait but when you have me waiting 30 mins and the food isn't fully cooked thats where I draw the line. I straight up ate raw slices of onion and celery. tossed it in the microwave to cook the chicken more just incase it wasn't fully cooked too because I'm not trying to live on the toilet.
Poor customer service. Counter person barked her greeting and questions like they were computer generated. No smiles from anyone, you can tell when some one is smiling whether they have a mask on or not. I felt rushed with the repeated what other item questions when I couldn’t even see the choices from where I stood, with no offer of what was available (only you’ll have to wait for all the options that were empty). When I approached the counter to retrieve the food I was waiting for (because they ran out of an item) I was ignored by two people. Yes, you’re busy, but a quick acknowledgement will suffice. Register person had to come help me because two others ignored me. The employees all looked like they hated their jobs. Would’ve rated lower, but they actually did move quickly to get orders done.
Rude ladies in the store with ghetto attitudes. I used to come here everyday for a couple weeks when I got my new job and on a number of occasions I had to wait for basic foods. 5 minute wait for chow mien and terriaki sauce? Only one non Hispanic works here and with the service I get I do not feel like spending my hard earned dollars here. No mas!
Took me 18 minutes (and me going inside) to get my drive thru order. They told me it would be a couple minutes to finish one item then they'd bring it out, but I eventually gave up. I didnt even get a "sorry" when I mentioned how long I was waiting. They then forgot the sauce for my teriyaki chicken.
The service in the drive thru was awful, they parked me and told me 10 minutes waited and waited 20 minutes went by still no food, took my baby out of the car walked in and staff was busy chatting I asked for my order and it still wasn't ready yet. Another 10 minutes passed before it was ready and half the food was cold by the time it was given to me. Very unprofessional.
Less than half there food selection was available. Served less than average food portions, I can understand if there running short on food. Had to eat with my fingers on the go because China town didn't put in any utensils. Food tastes ok.
Ok so as a fast food place it's better than McDonald's and Taco Bell. But it's more expensive and not enough better to make up for the expense. Next time you get food there take a look at the plates themselves. They make the plate look large but then add a filler PUNT to the bottom so it's not as full. Trickery and illusion. The Orange chicken sauce is very strong in vinegar, but I like the zing. Some of the people I was with did not. The chicken chunks are 98% beading. Now this is a norm for most Chinese fried foods. The chicken nuggets in Panda express are 1 -10 breading to chicken. We got into a discussion about this we all cut open several chucks each and none had actual chicken. I had 2 larger chunks that did but everything else was straight up breading. Sorry no more business from me Panda. And these observations are not singular to this Panda express.
Went here for dinner with the family got 3 plates. It cost over 40 dollars. The portions got smaller they are now only 4 oz.
Someone need to call corporate. I got sick here twice in a row and the food are not edible. Chicken taste funny and smells funny. It was the mushroom chicken and teriyaki chicken. I think the mushroom chickens are left over from the day before so they just add more mushrooms and zucchini. Very burnt as well.
The guy at the speaker taking our order said we were taking too long to decide and to pull up to the next window. That wasn't right because there was no one behind us at all online. The girl at the window was very nice but the guy who was taking the order was not and we were shorted 2 fried rices . Store in Atwater ca.
The main doors off the parking lot are locked for some reason. I yanked on them and figured out they were locked. I thought they were doing drive-thru only. A nice person saw me going back to my car and directed me to the doors on the side of the building, as they were open. A sign on the closed doors pointing to the other doors would have been good.
The food was tasty but barely warm. And i had to wait in a queue for around 30 mins to get my food. This location seems to be seriously understaffed.
The girl that was working the window today had black hair in a bun. She was very rude. She was rushing me to give her my money and when my app didn’t scan the first time she got irritated. She started to give me the wrong order and then I got home with my food and I had the wrong order of food. If you’re going to work in customer service maybe she should try having a better attitude.
So I check our plate before I drive away from drive Thru cuz our order is big and of course sometimes they forget things! So I noticed that here is a little bit of food of the” bigger plate” so I tell the girl Let me have a side of the angus stake please! And she said she can’t ! That I have to go around and wait in the line again! And I told her I’m paying for it what is the problem! And she’s telling me cuz she have a line! And I’m like but the plate is not even serve good that’s what I need more food! Just scoop it in a box and let me pAid ! And she did not!! She keeps said I have to go around again! That’s Bull#^**!! Went though drive though order rice wht ask for 4 teriyaki sauce and was told I could only have 2 ask for manager found out why she said I could have one told her the girl before said I could have 2 need to be consistent with they answers and because went the other day a a guy gave me 4vwhat the hell I'm paying for my food and limted to contmentswount be back poor services
Never have half the menu available. Portion sizes suck. Never consistent and sometimes more veggies and hardly any protein. This location needs new management, cause the staff is rude, and seems like they don't care, and POORLY, EMPHASIZE POORLY, operated.
I love their food but their service is the worst!! My family and I just came for dinner and had to wait 45 mins for my food the cashier was very polite to other costumers before and after me she apologized and gave all of them 3 free egg roll or shrips for waiting for their food.. When it was my turn to pay all I got was a bad attitude from her not even a sorry or thank u for waiting .. Very rude and careless..
This was the worst panda my family and I has ever had! Service was good, but the food was horrible! First off our portions were smaller then normal. Secondly the white rice tasted undercooked, the Orange chicken was soggy. Worst experience. Don't go here.
Why 1 star? Okay so I ask for 2 plates with the same thing half and half rice and noodle they tell me to wait for the honey walnut shrimp for 4 minutes. NOO I waited for at least 20 minutes and the worst thing is they didn’t put rice and they only put half noodles not even full. Thank you Atwater Panda Express. Have a great day
Went through the drive thru. They asked me to park to wait for my order (3 Panda bowls)... I sat their for 37 minutes waiting before they came out with my order. This store is the worse. The trip to Merced is better than waiting here.
there was a hair in my orange chicken and plates had horrible servings. there was almost no chicken or rice in my plate. Usually I have good experiences at this panda but this one disappointed me

Did not acknowledge me when I came up to the counter and had to wait until she finished wiping down the counter. Most entries were out and she could not say when there would be more. Out of straws and cookies and did not want to make change. Food is pretty good but the service is absolutely lousy. It has been the way for years. Owner must not care at all.
This one should be renamed Hot Mess Express. So many employees yet everyone in the lobby were sitting at the tables waiting for food. There were no trays, no hot sauce, no lids, the food line was so messy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in hours. The wait to order food was about 20 minutes and then another 10 to actually pay for the food. I’m glad this was just a stop along my route, I’ll never come to this panda ever again.
On the day I went in they were pushing for new hires. They had a big sign & a table set up. This is fortunate because they really need to up their game. I can see why their was a lot of missing choices. They were over worked & stressed out with so few people for the lunch crowd (half dozen people maybe). The manager/owner should shut down, get more employees, train them, then open. The noodles also gave me some intestinal problems 🤢.
Quite literally the worst customer service I've ever seen. I've ordered delivery for the past 12 Times that I've come here and only one of those times they give me any sauce Even though I've asked them dozens of times to give them to me. Do you know the one thing what comes with teriyaki chicken teriyaki sauce. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to ever come here. This place gets a an L out of 10.
I don't know why I keep coming back.. The reviews are NOT GOOD HERE for a reason. Portions are small .and the orange chicken was as hard as a rock..if your gonna CHARGE ALOT for food..put the portion it deserves and the quality of food better..chicken is NOT supposed to be HARD..

Just went through the drive thru, the girls taking your order have ZERO customer service. They are always rude and out of everything as if they don't prep anything when they open. I work in customer service and this location and fast food is bad everytime. Yall need some new workers and management because your trash.
Came all the way across town had no fried rice. The young lady at the window was so rude. I tried it out on the drink. She told me we don’t do add-ons. I asked her what her name was and she said I don’t have a name. what a joke never going back.

Drive thru is always slow. They want you to park so they don’t get dinged for not being efficient on the counters. Refused to park. Got a lot of attitude from the drive thru worker on 2/1/20 at 1030 AM. Her attitude should be addressed.
So disappointing. I know there’s a pandemic that leads to random shortages but we ordered meals for 4 people and every one was wrong and to make it worse they were horrible!! Teriyaki chicken with no teriyaki sauce? That’s just cooked bland chicken folks. A heads up would of been nice. Orange chicken without the orange sauce but instead some horrible pepper tasting thick coating? Out of white rice. Out of broccoli beef. Just overall a complete waste of money.
If you enjoy dried out , sat too long in a warmer food then this is the place for you to mobile order . I'm usually starving so I mobile order in hopes it will be ready when I arrive. So far this site has never disappointed me in making you wait an additional 30 to 45mins after the food ready time. Once they have your money you can't get it back through mobile order so you're forced to accept the worst they have on hand and the last to be served. If you don't enjoy fresh and hot food then this is the place to mobile order for you.
I walked in and there was no line. They had a mostly full thing of orange chicken and but were out of chow mein. They said the wait for chow mein would be 5 minutes. I said that was fine. So about 5 minutes later the chow mein is done. More people start coming in and they are serving them. I see my panda bowl just sitting there for a long time. I finally went up and asked about it and they said oh we’re just waiting on orange chicken. 🤦🏻♀️ So basically they gave the food I paid for away to all these random people who got there after me and made me wait thirty minutes when they told me it would only be five.
Very rude lady in the drive thru talking very rude and a very bad tone voice to me of course when I got to the window she said she didnt have change for 100 Bill when I ordered 4 plates so rude and very unprofesional, they should not be hiring people like this who don't have any education and are just rude.
I’ve never had such bad service here. I took my mom to get panda and she can’t see very well so I asked the server Sam what types of chicken you carried because my mom can’t see and I got told “ can’t you see the menu? That’s the kind of chicken we carry.” She was incredibly rude. Then told me I was talking to long, that I had been there for 3 minutes and if I didn’t order I needed to move. The only reason I was talking 3 minutes is because I had to read the menu to my mom. I normally know what I want to order but she does eat there ever so she didn’t know what she wanted. Then the server Sam refused to take my order because we after 3 minutes we didn’t know what we wanted so another server can named Jerry after I told her we weren’t leaning without our plate. Then she was rude to! I ended up being refused so I flipped them off at the window and pulled up front… I went inside and place my moms order not mine too because I will never eat there again! God forbid my mom was blind and needed customer service to help her order because clearly the employees here do not know how to help anyone. I spoke to the manager and she didn’t care. Her name was “ Jerry” . I’m not normally a complainer but this service was the worst I’ve ever had and Atwater panda you have lost a customer for life! Not that you care but maybe the reader will ! Please don’t support a business like this, with employers and managers like this! It really is ridiculous to be charged this price for one meal and then be treated so rudely.
I only gave one star because zero stars wasn't an option I've been here 3 times and disappointed everytime. Nothing's ever ready always have to wait none of the employees know what's going on, today was the last time I'll ever go here again I ordered online they texted me saying it was ready only for me to get there and they couldn't figure what happened to my order and accused me of ordering from the merced one until I showed them the receipt so I had to wait another 20 minutes.. I'm not a mean person I just rather go places where people can do their job. It's not just me read the reviews.
I had to wait on rice I was told it would be 10 to 15mins I was fine with waiting where I parked I could see them making the food after about 12min. I seen the rice was done. Waited another 8mins. Because I couldn't get out of the car I tried to call the recording said no one was available. I had to pull my car as close as I could to the drive though window and honk my horn and then yell that I would like my food. The young girl that brought my food out was telling other customers how she felt I was overreacting and how funny she thought it was. When I told her I watched as there served other customers for 8min. She said there were a lot of people in the drive though getting food I asked how many had been waiting for over 20min. Then she asked me if I wanted good food or fast food and that she told me there was going to be a 10 to 15min. Wait time on food 23min. This was not the first bad experience with this restaurant but it will be the last
Honestly could have been better i just went there and asked for sweet and sour she said and i quote “there is plenty of sauce in the bag “once we got home no sauce(sweet n sour). Portions were so small normally we get more and to TOP IT OFF NO FORKS OR SPOONS OR NAPKINS 😒
Basically like fast food but at least McDonald's would have all their menu items available. And if you don't ask them to put some beef in the beef and broccoli all you will get is a skimpy portion of broccoli. All in all they will try and sell the straps of any before making a proper dish. Better off going to the freezer section at Walmart. I wouldn't recommend it. Go to a place with a little bit of customer service or cook at home.
This location has been bad recently. Multiple visits and all have been bad. Today i ordered 4 plates and 2 where completely wrong and of course i noticed till i got home. On door dash orders they never add sauces. How are we suppose to eat teriyaki chicken with out the sauce. Have common sense and add extra sauces. A restaurant should always be good and not a hit and miss.
First off I walk into the place and don’t get greeted at all which I was thinking oh are they still getting ready to open or something no one said anything so I walked up to the counter. The girl attending me is more focused on talking to some girl with her headset who’s behind her. She asked and I gave her my order she didn’t even fill my bowl with the 2 options when I specifically said to pack it. Pretty quiet in there no communication I leave open my bowl to enjoy on my lunch and I see this blue speck and I’m not usually the one to write a review but it was just one thing after another I’m not sure what this is I thought a tiny spider then thought lint from clothing either way horrible.
It's been quite a while since I've been to Panda Express due to a new Chinese place opening near by. Decided to go to panda tonight and the drive thru was not long at all. 3 cars in front of me. I placed my order and waited at least 15 minutes before the first car got there order. As soon as it became my turn to pay for my order, they apologized for the long wait. Got home, opened up my meal and enjoyed my side of chicken egg roll and crispy shrimp. Got to my orange chicken and it tasted great. Got to my steamed rice, the rice was terribly undercooked. Hard and chewy. That really disappointed me. I consider the rice the main part of the meal and the chicken a side. Very disappointed.
This place definitely needs to be inspected by Health Inspectors. There's undoubtedly a lack of experienced food handlers, and food preparation training. What makes it inevitably hard to disregard, is the complacency and distegard to this discrepancy on the owner and managements part. Today, my food was raw. Managements explaination was a crash course on cooking temperatures, and there rational was and I quote, "other customers didn't complain." Of course they wouldn't, as my order was for a catering order, not from the customer serving line. Thank you Manager Gee for you words of encouragement to never visit, nor recommend this Panda Express location. My only expectations to a bad experience to bad service is less patronizing by management, and an appreciation to customers who completely understand that employees at this establishment are still working people. For the sake of every employee at this establishment to sustain it in our community, I truly hope the owner, store manager, and Food Inspectors, evaluate the current management, food preparation, and training.

Terrible service and burnt food. Got a refund and went somewhere else. Waited 30+ minutes for burnt food. 100% unacceptable. Do not recommend this site at all. Have always had issues.
I do not recommend ordering on the app or online. Ordered 3 plates 4 items each. I go in at the time, 20 mins later and see 3 plates sitting in their tray under the heat lamp for another 15 minutes because their waiting on 1 side! If I ordered in person I could have just picked another side instead of my food sweating in Styrofoam for almost a half hour. Nothing against staff or personnel.
It took forever to be able to order our food one person working the window one person working in the counter doing another person's job. How do you wait 10 minutes with one person that had the best to get someone to address our order. Not impressed with their food it's like frozen Chinese
Ugh. Forgot food in my order 2 orders in a row this week..if you're autistic/ed and this is a safe food for you- you might just be let down everytime and might want to try something else, or drive to merced, it's not that far. Glad everyone in the kitchen were so happy having a blast and laughing, but they seem distracted. I went back.and got my cold food that they forgot left out.. But..Idk if ill go back to this store..good luck ya'll.
Don’t come the this location. Workers are rude and none of the employees were wearing gloves, there was multiple times where flies landed on the food very disgusting! Ecosure needs to inspect the place.
Honestly, every time I go there, they take so long and they always get my order wrong. Every single time I go 97% of the time order its always wrong and their rice is dry.
I wanted for my food longer than 30 minutes outside and other car have gone pass me and i didn't receive my food until I went inside the store. What a bad customer service when other are getting their food less than few minutes. i suggest that they should wait for their food at the window even if its only a couple minute on the food.
I ordered 4 plates. They said one of the entrees would be a 4-7 minute wait, which was fine. I waited 20 minutes, giving them a lot more time to bring me my food. Eventually I went inside, saw that they had the entree ready and didn't care to put it in my order. The drive thru worker recognized me, whispered to her coworkers why I'm there, and the workers didn't want to talk to me causing me to wait about another 8 minutes or so. I wasn't mad, just don't wanna have my time wasted after telling me the wait time. Do better.
This Panda Express has definitely lowered their standards. Every visit has been worst. We had agreed not to come here again but we were feeling like panda and decided to give them a chance again after 1 year. Unfortunately, it was a bad idea..their Chow main is more like cabbage stir fry main…their soda machine wasn’t working so no drinks, it was about 7:50pm and they were on a 20 minute wait for new chow main! They didn’t have mushroom chicken or broccoli beef! Another wait for 15 minutes. Decided to buy what they did have sadly it was a big disappointment again.
