Fantastic Restaurant great choice of food from a very large menu that covers just about everything to suit anyone ! Prices very reasonable & a 10% discount off your bill before 8pm is a great touch 😉😁👍 also live music every night...dressed or casual dining. We went straight off the beach in shorts & t-shirt & were made very welcome no probs😎👍Staff very attentive & pleasant & professional. A definite must visit restaurant in Fuengirola 👍👍👍

Found this bar/ restaurant while looking for a place to eat, as we passed it was my wife who smelt the food which smelt amazing, we stopped in had a lovely meal, even our fussy eating kids enjoyed the meal, we returned a few nights later and again had a lovely meal and drinks, Would highly recommend.

The best bar and entertainment we have been to..we both had steak and we would give it a 10..lovely staff and atmosphere and the band was brilliant.it felt very intimate.

Absolutely fantastic! Went as a family of 10 and they couldn't do enough for us. Food excellent recommend the chilli and the savoury pancakes are awesome. Prices are very competitive. Cocktails very alcoholic 😋. Finally the music and atmosphere are what sets this place out from its competitors , just perfect. Very highly recommend and will be returning asap (didn't want to leave actually).

Don’t take any notice of the previous reviews about NYE . We were there from 7pm until kicking out time and the ppl moaning were constantly trying to get their food and drinks etc for free. The food was outstanding and the servers were working incredibly hard to keep people happy, most of which turned up late and were already pie eyed. The entertainment was first class and song choice was excellent . Thank you Abdul and the team for fitting us in at the last minute. Vinnie & Sam.

We called her twice for early evening meal and couldn't fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food varied and delicious and at a price you couldn't fault. Make sure you have cash as you will want to tip the staff and you can't put that on your card.

We went on Tuesday and saw the Disclaimers who were fabulous. Food was delicious, mixed croquettes to start and chicken skewers, beef skewers and fish and chips. We were so well looked after.

I popped into this pub for a quick drink and was blown away by the service. In Spain, you sometimes brace for a wait, but the staff here were on point—super friendly, attentive, but not hovering. It felt like they genuinely wanted us to have a good time. The vibe got even better with a sibling duo singing their hearts out—her voice was straight-up West End quality, stealing the show! The place itself is a gem: check out the upstairs, which feels like a cozy Andalusian hideaway, and the outdoor seating is just perfect for chilling. This spot’s a winner for a small group hangout or even a full venue buyout. It’s got character, great energy, and won’t break the bank. Unfortunately we cannot comment on the food, as we only came in for drinks. The bar was really fun, and the crowd was being brilliantly entertained by an interactive duo who were signing all the best hits to get people up on the dance floor. Very enjoyable evening. Great pint of Guinness too! Edit: After reading the owners comment, we came back for food and I can confirm the food was decent. We had already had an early dinner so we just grabbed a snack. I had the beef skewers and my wife had the chicken nuggets. Food was good so I’ve changed my review. Probably be back tonight 👍🏼

Nice place, very different to the rest. Music was good, old school style. Food was nice. What let it down was the menu does not give full details of what is included within the food choices, there were no allergy information, therefore only when you received it and maybe tasted it you would know which would be too late. Therefore if this was corrected then it would be definitely a higher star rating.

Booked to revisit Friday night for 7 of us .all wanting steaks! Yummy! Plenty of atmosphere a bit like going back in time l have visited this bar for nearly 20years. Great music venue, friendly and chatty staff. Monkey Tennis a very well known group. Good all around music. People come from far and wide to watch them.

Was all excited to see Moochers had opened back again to find it had been renovated lovely but we were disappointed with the no cocktails and couldn't hear and enjoy music when sat outside. Few tables reserved after 10pm to we later see only 4 out of 8 for 1 table turned up and none for a 4 table owners wife was sat at a table for 4 on her own on her laptop so we had to sit outside which we couldn't enjoy the music at all. Drinks were nice and string and our server was lovely but its lost its quirky atmosphere. My recommendation would be bring back cocktails if I can get them at the beach I should be able to get them in a bar. After a time tables should become first come first served and nit used for work isn't there an office or a table for 2 for that.

Its a good music venue decent atmosphere

This was my third visit, and although the entertainment and atmosphere were great, as in previous visits, the food and service weren't as good. In one of my previous visits, I had butterfly chicken with a mushroom sauce. The chicken was succulent, and it came with some lovely mixed vegetables and chips or rice. This time, the chicken was quite dry. There were no vegetables at all and just a small amount of chips. The portion size was definitely much smaller than our last visit 6 months ago. This is a €15 dish, and for what I got, it wasn't worth it, definitely not a true representation of the picture shown on their website. They also tried to charge us extra for the sauce that was included with the dish. This was rectified quickly, though. The service had also changed, although still helpful and attentive, they were too eager to clear things. Taking plates while one of us was still eating. Taking the coaster when I had just lifted my wine glass up for a drink! Had I not been before and really enjoyed the food as much as the entertainment, I may not have considered going back. I just hope this was a glitch and that if we go again for food, we get what we did earlier in the year.

Been here often before the pandemic. Great place. But this evening there was a note on the door (but not the website) that they're closed until 7 Feb 2024. Just thought you'd better know that.

Wij zijn hier een aantal dagen geleden geweest tweemaal achter elkaar. De eerste avond een prachtige muziekavond met een drankje. Het was zeer gezellig en het personeel uiterst vriendelijk. De avond erna besloten wij daar opnieuw naar toe te gaan en gelijk daar wat te eten. En hier zit het knelpunt, dat gaat het mis en is onvoldoende. Wanneer je uitgaat van de website kom je bedrogen uit. Geloof me, ik heb bij deze review de beste bedoeling. De keuken zou het te druk hebben en dat kan, geen enkel probleem wanneer je op vakantie bent heb je geen haast. Ik heb dat ook gezegd, rustig aan komt vast goed.je ziet nl onrust en gespannenheid bij twee van de vier medewerkers van dat moment. De klant ziet en voelt dat. Prijs kwaliteit is niet ok, porties incompleet en veel te klein. En dit is in eerdere reviews al gemeld. Wat ik zou doen is, halveer de kaart en maak simpele maar wel goede gerechten. Ik had de curry met rijst, een te kleine portie was het. Waarom geen groenten of salade met dressing erbij? Kun je allemaal makkelijk voorbereiden. We namen nog een pannenkoek, simpel lemon en sugar, deze was ge-wel-dig! Het is een heel verhaal maar is echt positieve feedback want de live muziek in deze zaak is geweldig. Maar het eten is niet waar je achter kunt staan. Dit kan echter met aanpassingen verbeteren. Wanneer dit lukt icm de geweldige muziek, dan heb je een toptent. Ik hoop dat jullie hier iets mee doen.

I would like to know what has changed. On previous visits we had good food, however last night we were all bitterly disappointed. I usually have steak and chips but the price had shot through the roof €28 which is fair but you have to now pay €4.50 if you want chips making it higher end resturant prices. Burger and chip. was ok but I've had better and cheaper Fish & chips and peas. This was better value but the tiny bowl of mushy peas was more like a puree Lasagne. Was ok but you had to buy garlic bread separately making it expensive compared to other places Chicken skewers . Worst of the lot. Not the size as shown on the menu and the veg was half a florets of cauli and half of broccoli. Finally at nearly €9 for a short and mixer or €2.90 for the small bottle of coke zero, not again.

We didn't have any food. Popped in for some cocktails. They were only able to make 2 out of the entire list. I'm not sure why. There was live music and a woman singing, she wasn't bad but the place just wasn't our vibe, we're about 20 years too early and were in out 30s.

I used to Love this place years ago because it served good quality Home made food. The crepes were always my go to because they were full of fresh toppings( not any more) the crepe was stuck to the plate and it was wafer thin and miminal toppings..smallest garlic Bread ever Like a Chicken nugget and not good quality Bread. The portion of fries was 10 chips and i think cost 4.50 then the Prawn pil pil was 5 miserable prawns that were either defrosted 2 days prior or actually bad because they had no taste and just Like gooey dough.. wont eat here Again. Its a shame as it was one of my favourite places for years.

They get two stars because of great service. The servers were wonderful. The food, however, is a different story. I had a grill platter containing sausage, lamb chops, beef, ribs, and chicken thighs. The chicken and the ribs were the only thing to highlight as decent. Neither the lamb or beef was seasoned or had a proper sear (even though it had grill marks). The lamb was tough and felt like left over chunks - dreadful is the best way to describe it. Sausage was floury and bland.

We went for Christmas Dinner, starter was lovely, prawn cocktail and chessey garlic bread . But main meal was horrible , will not be going back for food. 2 singers were great

Been going to this restaurant for many years and usually quite happy but this visit a week ago was awful. Service slow by waiter and waitress with dirty uniforms! Beef stronganof tough and horrible as was the bill! Wanted to complain after the meal but no-one came out to us to collect money so just left it on the table and left. Will not return, plenty of other restaurants to choose from that provide better food and service.

New year's eve dinner disaster from start to finish. 20mins to get any drinks and most of the wine on the menu wasn't available. Had the meatballs for starter and and were cold For mains, the leg of lamb was also cold, inedible, overcooked and like a piece rubber with two slices of carrots and one mini broccoli was pathetic. Left most of the lamb on the plate. Music entertainment far too loud. Impossible to have a conversation with anyone at our table without shouting. Multiple requests to turn it down were ignored with decibel levels well over 100. Chef was incredibly rude to two females at our table after they tried to approach him at the end of our dinner to discuss but couldn't take any feedback on board. Over €100 for that experience these days should not be acceptable.

We were a group of 7, all but one hated the food. The vegan dish (surprise!) wasn't vegan, the meat burger was uneatable. Live music was great though so it's a shame once such a nice restaurant has changed so badly.

Came here two weeks ago ordered the lamb chops, the size was laughable, my thumb was bigger.

This was absolutely abhorrent, the food was inedible. The salmon had a off smell to it and would have defo gave us food poisoning. The bolognese tasted like cheap tomato pasta. The lamb chops, which cost €18.50 was quite nice but the portion was insane, there was barely a bite of meat on the bone. When we complained the waitress was alright and removed salmon from bill then got manager. The manager was so rude and disrespectful, trying to explain that meat shrinks when cooked (i know that as i work in a steakhouse) but not to the extent there was. Would never go here, absolute tourist trap and ruined our night.

When we complained about the food, the boss' attitude was embarrassing, with the question of 'do you know what a lamb chop looks like' being asked. They would not listen or take any criticism on board which made things (somehow) worse. The rest of the staff were lovely which was a shame. Do not waste your time or money. Tourist trap. Update: the response was equally as embarrassing as the evening. When a photo tried to be shown the boss refused to look - sadly cant upload a photo but it was quite literally the size of my thumb. Also the salmon was conveniently not mentioned despite being vile, smelling awful and had to be sent back. I know my 'lambshops'*.

Sadly all 3 of our meals were disgusting and 1 being even inedible. When complained, the front of house were generally lovely, but when speaking to the boss, he was rude, condensing, and unable to accept any feedback. Would not recommend in anyway. Waste of time and money!

My husband and I used to love this place before it changed hands, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The food was terrible—he had steak, I had salmon, and both were completely bland and tasteless. Considering they were around €30 each, we expected much better. We asked the server if the meals came with chips and were told yes, but when the food arrived, we were given about ten chips to share! The service was slow, and the noise level was so high that we could barely hear ourselves talk. It’s such a shame because it used to be great, and we didn’t mind paying those prices back then, but now it’s just not worth it.

Minimum spend €20 during live music but not advertised!! Over to our place in El Higueron for a few days and last night whilst on our way back from a lovely meal at Vulcanos, we noticed Moochers that we had heard of. Popped in for a few minutes to check for next visit as we were flying home early the following morning. I was feeling the worse for wear as given free drinks at Vulcanos so declined a drink, my partner ordered half a pint out of courtesy. No great shakes, not exactly full and we are often asked to promote venues. Been there around 10 minutes and my partner was approached by someone who said he was the manager and told minimum spend was €20 as the band wasn’t free so we either leave or spend €20!!!! Applauding customer service. I explained we had just been to Valcano and showed him the review we did to show we had already eaten and had free drinks all night and he said I was trying to threaten him with the review. Increíble!!! You could not make up such applauding customer service. Only popped in for 10 minutes to check the place out. We normally get asked to stay!! Not pay more or leave!! If this is the attitude I would consider where the establishments priorities lye. It certainly isn’t providing customer service or positive promotion that’s for sure. Shame really Music was fantastic but something has changed recently it’s not the Moochers we were recommended or would recommend 😔😔

Absolutely awful Xmas dinner for 50 euros each.. I was rudely spoken to on arrival after asking for a coffee. We had a table of 8 people and we got half a carrot and a drip of gravy, everything was cold… Never again.

Estuve cenando en noche Vieja de este año con un grupo de irlandeses que tuvieron la desgracia de contratar este lugar. Cenamos fatal entre plato y plato te podías leer la prensa de toda la semana. Durante toda la cena de 20,30h a 23,30h tuvimos que soportar una música que oscilaba entre los 70 y 95 decibelios. La carta de vinos presentaba vinos de baja calidad a altísimos precios y los vinos intermedios se acabaron pronto....casualidad. Ante esto panorama nos quejamos al dueño que recibió las quejas con muy mal carácter y presentó una aptitud muy prepotente y desconsiderada. Este personaje es la antítesis del excelente trato que hemos recibido en el resto de restaurantes del entorno de Fuengirola que hemos visitado en estos veinte días de vacaciones, y no han sido pocos.

He pedido un solomillo de ternera y he flipado pero de lo pequeño que no creo que tenga ni 100g y por el precio he comido en otro sitio como en DONNY’S BAR es suprema mente el triple en tamaño y por el mismo precio que aquí. La verdad no me gustó ni la atención

EL DUEÑO DE ESTE LUGAR ES UN TIPO HOSTIL, PREPOTENTE Y MAL EDUCADO! NO REGRESARÉ NI NADIE QUE CONOZCA. No lo salva ni la MÚSICA. IMAGINE!!! VAYA A TERAPIA "SEÑOR"... SHAME ON YOU! QUE ESTÚPIDO Y DESAGRADABLE ERES CON TODOS! estarías mejor en el campo pastando cabras.......

Estuve cenando en noche Vieja de este año con un grupo de irlandeses que tuvieron la desgracia de contratar este lugar. Cenamos fatal entre plato y plato te podías leer la prensa de toda la semana. Durante toda la cena de 20,30h a 23,30h tuvimos que soportar una música que oscilaba entre los 70 y 95 decibelios. La carta de vinos presentaba vinos de baja calidad a altísimos precios y los vinos intermedios se acabaron pronto....casualidad. Ante esto panorama nos quejamos al dueño que recibió las quejas con muy mal carácter y presentó una aptitud muy prepotente y desconsiderada. Este personaje es la antítesis del excelente trato que hemos recibido en el resto de restaurantes del entorno de Fuengirola que hemos visitado en estos veinte días de vacaciones, y no han sido pocos.
