Great place, we’ll be returning every trip

We were a large party and we all got different dishes. Everyone enjoyed the food and no one went home hungry. Great food and great craic. Christy knows how to look after his customers.

Finally visited the famous Christy’s which had been highly recommended by friends. Definitely did not disappoint what an amazing place. Thank you to all the wonderful staff you were all lovely & super friendly, Food was absolutely delicious. Normally we are not the type of people who would return twice to the same bar on holiday. On our 4 day holiday in October we returned to Christy's on all 4 days!!! Christy's is that good!!! The food is superb. The staff are just lovely. We were there for both days of the Rugby Quarter Finals, and although they were super busy, they are so well organised, service is never compromised! Last but not least...the GUINNESS is the absolute best you will ever taste in Spain. We live in Ireland and have had Guinness in every corner of this country...the pint in Christy's would give some of the best in Ireland a run for their money!!! Will see yis all next year. Really lovely bar/restaurant with a huge outdoor area. Food was incredible. We had the ribs, lasagne and kids had sausages and nuggets. All the ingredients were so fresh and the potato salad and green salad were to die for! We will be back. ☘️

This place is amazing, the service, staff, drinks and the food are all amazing. I recommend trying all the food here, your mouth will thank you for it. I espically loved the bloody Mary and the Steak pie, the portions are huge but you will finish it all for sure because it taste so bloody good. The outdoor terrace is huge so make sure you pay a visit.

Great place, emailed in the morning to ask if they were showing Royal Ascot Horse Racing. Got a reply back very quickly, confirming the request. Turned up and sure enough had a table in the courtyard for us, right in front of Ascot racing on TV, with English commentary. Staff very friendly. Decided to have a light lunch as we were so impressed. Food was great. Place very clean and professionally run. Deffo our now go-to place for watching racing in the area.

My brother had his birthday here. We were a large group with kids, they sorted the kids out with food and placed them on a table together which was nice. 2. The staff were awesome. attentive, taking pictures for our memories. They were funny and charming. They helped with any request. 3. the food was very tasty! pub food but more so! Delicious cheesy garlic chips, burger was amazing and good quality. My dad was very impressed with the staff having worked in the industry for years. Being an attentive water/ waitress is a skill and they were awesome.

We went to Christy's several times during our trip to Fuengirola! Great fun, good service and fantastic atmosphere with Miguel, Carey, Sophie and co .. even during the Spanish blackout. We will be back :D

Popped in here for some casual food and drinks. We were taken care of by a lovely wee Scottish lady (didn’t catch her name) who was absolutely incredible at her job and very warm and inviting. Made us feel right at home! Food was lovely and the terrace they have out back is a nice quiet spot to relax in off the main busy drag of Fuengirola! Would come back here anytime I’m back and would encourage others to go whilst they’re there!

We went into Christy's several times, had food quite a few times, watched the Football and the Rugby. We even played golf with Christy's Golfing Society, all thanks to Paul behind the bar, a gentleman. I will definitely be going back this year and next. Please give it a try. Guinness is exceptional.

One of the better Irish bars i visited along the costa del sol. The bar is a bit hidden, but definitely worth a visit. Friendly staff ,great atmosphere, loved it, after a couple of beers we noticed there is a free function room , trying to figure out what it exactly was , went sideways and hilarious. Thank you Sophie for the professional explanation😂😂😂. I will visit again.

Just returned from our first visit here despite being to Fuengirola a few times, wish we had found this place sooner, went 3 times in our 5 night stay, great bar (really clean and well looked after) really nice staff and food was good too. Will definitely come back!

We booked before setting foot in the place and we weren’t disappointed. Food was great, I had ribs which were fabulous, my wife and mam had the beef and Guinness pie which they really enjoyed. As requested they made a birthday cake and it was really good, and he brought it out with lit candles. A really good time had by all.

Just popped down to see the lions game - lovely bar, REALLY GOOD breakfast wrap, 2 of my sons had cooked breakfast which they loved - I was only on the coffee and water, but one of my lads loved the Guinness Sat outside on the terrace, loads of room - thanks very much!

I only popped in for a couple of pints after arriving in Fuengirolo, but I could tell immediately it was a nice spot. Friendly staff, a good range of friendly locals. It is conveniently located and has AirCon.... a must for us, poor Irish who aren't used to the mid 30°s .... the menu and food looked great, and I look forward to trying it tomorrow

I visit fuengirola with my mum each year and found this place last year based on reviews. We ate here 3/4 times last year and 4/5 this year. Everything I have tried has been top quality from the Guinness pie ( had it 4 times now) to the Angus burger, sausage and mash, Caesar wrap and last year the fish pie. Ooh plus the chocolate brownie. The staff are all awesome, friendly, happy and helpful. It is always busy and has a great atmosphere plus the portions are generous. We have tried other places but haven’t found another as good. Unfortunately I’m off home tomorrow but will hopefully be back next year because I want to try the ribs and chicken burger next. My mum however has another few weeks so will be in a few more times yet. Thank you to the owner and all the staff. Keep doing what you do!

We went to Christys to watch the 6 Nations rugby 🏉 & we were not dissapointed! Great service, fabulous food and atmospheric. Great offers on buckets of beer for €10 & some really decent house rioja for €18. I had the goats cheese salad & thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner had the fish & chips & was really pleased.

Backstreet Gastropub with traditional seating inside with lots of undercover seating to rear. This place is spotlessly clean!! Although the breakfast was slightly dearer, we were happy to pay more as the food was lovely and it was red hot! (Rare in Spain). Would definitely come back for food! Just had breakfast here, yes a little more expensive than most but still cheap enough and well worth every penny, obviously the extra cost goes toward the quality of the ingredients. Perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. It will definitely be the only place for a cooked breakfast for us when in fuengirola. Thanks

We simply wanted to have a drink so popped into Christy's. However, it wasn't long before we thought that a meal would be an even better idea so we decided to have lunch. There is a largish and inviting bar which gives access to a big terrace at the rear of the place. The menu offers a decent range of options with both some specialities and other choices like steak and burgers. On our visit there were some dishes of the day. Service was friendly and attentive. Being an Irish establishment, it is unsurprising that to find a suitable beverage to accompany the meal is not difficult!

Overall experience at Christy’s was great. I only had a light bites of chicken goujons sharing with my partner which was good. The service was great and the staff member who served us was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere wasn’t great, but I have taken into account that it is low season which could affect this.

Had the pleasure of visiting Christy's twice over the past week, and both visits were quite enjoyable. The ambiance of the establishment is welcoming and perfect for a relaxed outing. My first visit left me with a very positive impression, as the service was attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. On my second visit, I chose Christy's again to watch a GAA match with friends. The experience was, once again, delightful. The energy of the crowd and the comfort of the venue added to the enjoyment of the game. However, there was a slight hiccup that marred an otherwise excellent evening. When it came time to settle our tab at the bar, we noticed an extra Heineken charged to our bill. Interestingly, no one in our group had ordered or consumed a Heineken that evening. I brought this to the attention of the barman, who did refund the price of the pint, but his lack of an apology was somewhat disappointing. While this minor incident cast a small shadow over an otherwise wonderful experience, I still appreciate the overall quality of this establishment . A little more attentiveness and courtesy in handling such discrepancies would ensure that every visit remains impeccable. I look forward to returning and hope for an entirely flawless experience next time.

Really enjoyed this pub. We had a delicious lunch... the steak guiness pie was very good and the prawn pil-pil was fantastic. Very pleasant servers too. Went back to watch some sports last night... highly recommend.

Went one evening for dinner food was great, as was the service. 5* Went back one morning for breakfast, don't know what was going on in the kitchen, but the wait.....Jesus! Man serving us kept apologising. It was so bad, he didnt charge us for coffees and orange juice. But even after the wait the food was just ok. 3* It would stop me going back - think it was a huge blip.

Had an perfectly cooked medium rare Irish entrecôte steak. Good size and very tasty mixed veg and French fries ( personal preference would have been chunky chips) but all very good. Guinness was nice and cold. Others in my group had the loaded fries which was excellent and the chicken goujons. All in all a great experience the staff were very good and attentive. Thank you

Fine. Nothing really Irish about the place or decor though. Just serves a nice guiness.

Came three times during my visit, once in the evening and twice early afternoon. It seems there's hardly any staff on in the early afternoon. Waiting terribly long for service and the gentleman appeared frustrated/annoyed when I asked for another drink. The only positive for me was the food is really nice, but unfortunately, I will not be returning.
