I've been going to Barley for a while now, and I admit I went there for the variety of beer they offer... I later discovered it's a really interesting place. The guys are always very friendly and help you choose drinks to suit your tastes perfectly. The food isn't bad either, a place to spend a pleasant evening, alone or with friends!!! 🔝
Excellent selection of craft beers, there's something for everyone! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the pulled pork croquettes, a real treat! I'd love to come back to try the burgers.
What a wonderful discovery in the old town of Gallarate! The atmosphere is very cozy, rockin', and a bit alternative. The service was super relaxed and accommodating when I stopped by with my kids. I wouldn't have expected such delicious food from a pub specializing in beer. The chicken burger was perfect, the fries were crispy, and the little nuggets were tender, crispy, and flavorful all at once. Super delicious and highly recommended! Another plus is that the Barley House is queer-friendly 😊
It's one of my go-to spots. Great for a regular midweek beer, but also for when you're out with friends and want a good dinner with a quality beer. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly at the bar, but there are also tables for dinner in the back room, and in the summer, outdoor seating. They have a wide selection of craft beers on tap, and a huge selection of bottles and cans to go.
My favourite place in Gallarate. Very large selection of Italian and international craft beer, on tap and in bottles.
This was my first time at this pub, and I have to say it met my expectations. The food is delicious—I especially recommend the pinsa all'amatriciana—but I think the menu is a bit limited; it has potential. The place isn't very big, and the staff is friendly. I recommend adding the original Coke.
Amazing experience, very friendly staff with great knowledge about beers, and they also speak a very good level of english, didn’t expect that. Superb selection of non-commercial drinks too, big plus. It was a very positive experience from every angle!

A beautiful taproom in the center of Gallarate, offering a wide selection of rotating craft beers. The staff is always ready to recommend new releases from around the world, respecting and understanding your personal tastes. Excellent food, whether for an aperitif or dinner, and great music. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful, just what you need to break up the week and/or enjoy the weekend.

Small but very welcoming place, wide choice of craft beers, both on tap and in bottles, the guys will be able to advise you, they are very kind and prepared. It is possible to eat something very tasty. It is not possible to park near the place but it is easy to find parking in the surrounding area.

Nice craft beer pub in Gallarate centre. 8 beer choices at Eur 6-7. Local breweries. We went there twice, I had a juicy Lucy burger and a pulled pork burger with fries. Burger was cooked nicely, pink in the middle.
On a stopover flight, a short taxi ride from Milan's Malpensa Airport, this was a compact, and lively bar/shop that has a great selection of craft beer. Had a pinza on recommendation, sausage and potato which was surprisingly wholesome and tasty. Some great local and classic Belgium beers consumed. Worth a visit
They have a wide selection of draft and bottled beers, a great place to try some unique beers that aren't the usual commercial ones. We tasted some really good IPAs. I'll definitely be back to try more! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with great rock classics playing in the background, and the staff is friendly. The bathroom is large and clean. Cons: The tables are a bit sticky (are they dirty or is it the wood effect?), and some snacks (even just chips or peanuts) would have been nice with the beers, since we each drank a couple. The prices are fair for the quality, €5-6 a pint.
Unfortunately, I wasn't entirely satisfied. The place is very small, with really small tables. The four of us struggled to fit everything in. The food selection is limited, and in my opinion a bit expensive. Average quality. The beers, however, are excellent, well-tasted, and reasonably priced. Service could be improved: we ordered four pinsas, only two arrived; the rest arrived after 15 minutes. Not very welcome.
