my first time at a rainforest cafe from the UK and safe to say i loved it!! our server was really patient with the kids and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, our food was 10/10, the balloon guy was awesome and Beret and Kamer were incredible with the pictures we got, thank you for such an amazing experience!! 😊

A cool place to eat, a little expensive but worth it at least once if in Galveston. Also, one of the few places open on Christmas Day!

I went to the restaurant last night, and had an AMAZING experience; I would like to highlight the excellent service I received last night from Julie, our waitress. She was the best one I had in years! She was very attentive, friendly, and always mindful of every detail without being intrusive. Her positive attitude and willingness to help truly enhanced our experience. It’s clear when someone genuinely enjoys what they do and strives to provide outstanding service. An impeccable service that truly makes a difference.

What a fun lunch spot before getting on our Disney Cruise! We loved the ride, the restaurant and our server Juliana gave excellent service with a great personality and smile. Food was great! We will definitely be back!

We stopped by after riding the Ferry and it was so good! Our server, Ibrahim, was attentive, friendly, and kept our drinks full. He was ready to help, supplied us with extra napkins and ketchup without needing to be asked (we dined with our 5 children, napkins are a must!) Ibrahim made our dining experience 5 stars!! If you go, ask for him! You'll get great service and delicious food! I had the shrimp sampler and my husband the trio (steak, shrimp, ribs), both were very good and filling meals.

Ribs were delicious! The kids' rainforest icee container was actually really well designed! Worth it!

I have to give the managerial staff, as well as entire staff a HUGE kudos. I visited Rainforest in Galveston on Saturday, January 10th for dinner with my daughter as well as a few friends. We were there for a cheer competition, and it was crazy crowded. My daughter got up from our table with a friend of hers and went into the shopping area to look around. She left her lululemon belt bag, which was full of money and gift cards, sitting randomly while she made a tiktok with her friend (kids!). We did not realize that she left it for an entire week, and we were back home in Houston. I called the location on a prayer, a week later, to ask if by a miracle they had her purse. NOT ONLY DID THEY HAVE IT, THEY SENT IT TO MY HOME FREE OF CHARGE AND EVERYTHING WAS IN IT!!!! I couldn't believe it! An honest employee saw it lying around and put it aside in the case the owners came looking for it. I could have cried from relief, and gratitude- more than $500 worth of gift cards and money were still inside. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone at Rainforest Galveston, you have an eternally grateful customer!!!

My husband and I decided to visit the Cafe on the way back from our honeymoon and we loved it!! Alondra was especially amazing with her quick and friendly service! The photos by Brent turned out amazing as well! This was a wonderful experience!

What a fun surprise! We had never been here before but it looked fun from the outside, so why not. It was a blast, the atmosphere, the cups, the staff, all of it. The food was AMAZING! We even got pics taken for the memories from the traveling photographer. The gift shop was super cool too!

We loved the atmosphere and vibes in the rainforest cafe! We tried the adventure ride as well and were very impressed. The ride is $10 per adult and we did it expect it to be short; however, it was quite a bit longer than we expected. The ride is worth the extra charge, kids loved it and adults were surprised with the quality. We got cute cups and enjoyed our food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Maria was so sweet loved her!!! Was patient and helpful with guiding us on food and drinks. the atmosphere was great and upbeat, they took our pictures for free and they had a balloon maker that came around. He works on tips so please be giving!!! We got a wizard staff.

We had Erik H. as our server. He was very attentive, always checked on us, made sure everything cane out right and if we ever needed anything else. He also was able to sing Happy Birthday to my son and made it a wonderful time for us. He recommended their river ride and I am very glad he did because we did not know they had it and the kids LOVED it.

Amazing experience!! Food is on the higher priced end, but ultimately you pay for the decor and theme. I got the fish tacos and honestly were very impressed. This is by far the best rain forest café I have visited. The food was amazing and served in a timely manner. The restaurant is large and we were seated immediately which is uncommon for these restaurants. Our server Juliana was courteous and professional. She made sure we were always attended to. We also had the chance to get on their ride which is on par with some theme park rides. A great experience all around and we can't wait to go back. We tried their shrimp, some pastas, and salads. Amazing experience all around!!

Had a great experience with my guest. Our server was great. Efe and Ibrahim stopped at our table so many times to make sure we had everything we needed. Our food came out wrong but with manager Carmen’s help, we got what we ordered quickly. The photographer guy Berat was very helpful in guiding us for the pose, which resulted in a wonderful photo. Countless lunch visits we did here as a family of 4 when we do RV camping in Galveston and Port Bolivar areas. The foods were never disappointing. Love the options of seasonal menu!

We had a late lunch yesterday and Tony was our server. He was INCREDIBLE! He was quick, so very kind, and helpful. We laughed and talked and had a wonderful time! Tony gave my kids pennies ri toss into the fountain and even helped my oldest to calm down after one of the animatronics made her a bit nervous. We would definitely request to sit with him again!! Then the manager came by and spoke to us and even gave us free passes for the river ride!! All in all it was such a great experience!!!

I was at awe how beautiful it looked inside. It was very relaxing and our plates were alright. The green beans were hard. I was to get mixed veggies but they brought out green beans.

So fun we had to go twice! We used to have a Rainforest Cafe where we live, but it got shut down a very long time ago. I used to love going there as a kid, so when I saw Galveston had one, we basically planned our trip specifically to go to Rainforest Cafe and the beach. We went for lunch and desert, and I gotta tell you, it was as awesome as I remembered. My kids were speechless, which is still hard for me to believe haha. I love the atmosphere to be sure but the REAL star of the show, at least for me, was the PASTALAYA. Good gracious I had missed the pastalaya so much and it tasted exactly as I had remembered from my special birthday dinners growing up. I literally cried a little. My husband got it too and said it was much better than the one at Bubba Gump. Duh, lol. I don't remember what drink I got, but it was very nice. and my kids were so excited for the balloon man they forgot about dessert! Obviously we can't have that so on our last day we went back for the volcano dessert, and the balloon man. Besides my love for Pastalaya, there was one other thing that made this trip extra extra special, and that was the water ride. See, when they tore out the RFC in our mall, they sent the animatronics to Galveston. It was really quite the treat to see them again, especially seeing them actually working. The crocodile used to be right outside the entrance at the mall, and we spotted ours right away out of the several on the ride. Core memories for the kids, and a little hug from the past for the kid in me. We love Galveston Rainforest Cafe! While writing this my 4 year old saw the picture I am posing and cried " I wanna go there again!!"... Me too Mini.. me too.

It was crazy… but fun. The food was alright the server was tired, trying to be nice and it wasn’t working that much. I loved the fact that the animals actually moved and did stuff. We were always shocked when it thundered. it was a little loud so would not want to go there if you have a business meeting but it was family friendly and my family was there so it was fun

First time I ever visited, came with my siblings to spend time, I 10/10 recommend it for such occasions for families or friends to come hang out. The food was very solid, everything cooked to perfection and was very yummy! I definitely recommend the Amazon Fajitas combo good portion and great flavor, tender and juicy chicken & beef. The service was great, felt very welcomed and felt like I belonged, our server Michael was professional, very chill and overall great, answered all my questions, 10/10 recommend him as a server. The atmosphere too feels welcoming, no attitudes whatsoever from staff, and the environment is pretty cool actually, feels like a forest. Overall it is worth returning.

I had never been to a Rainforest Cafe before, so I was excited when I saw Galveston had one while we were here for vacation. The atmosphere was so cool! The butterflies all had moving wings, and all the animals moved when there was a thunderstorm. Our waitress was Kasie, and she was really sweet. When I told her I had never been before, she told me more about the rainforest, all the different animals they had, and how every 30 minutes there's a thunderstorm and the animals go wild, moving and talking. I was so fascinated and felt like a little kid again (I'm 21, about to turn 22). The food was pretty bland but still good nonetheless, and it was expensive, but I think you pay for the experience more than the food. Overall, a great experience for kids and adults alike. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not going to lie, the food has gotten much better since I came to rainforest cafe as a kid! Our server Luara was great and so was the rest of the staff. We had an awesome experience. Our kid had a birthday and we were greeted with a volcano and a song food and drinks were excellent. Juliana served our table and did an amazing job.

The mood was exactly what you would except with the extra humid jungle air, and yummy smells from the food. The fish in the aquariums were very friendly and entertaining, but most important was the staff. They were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and answered every question happily. Who says immersive restaurants are dead? What a great throwback experience at this location, it's just as I remember it as a kid and that's a good thing. Everything was very well maintained, the shows and animatronics went off without a hitch. The River Adventure Ride shouldn't be missed, an unexpectedly fun ride and not too bad at $10/person. I'm glad my friend Edward Burback recommended we give this chain another shot, specifically this location. Food and drinks were solid as well. Nothing mind bending, but the cheese curds, meatloaf and Cajun pasta were all great. I was disappointed that there were no standard mozzarella sticks on the menu, I don't know I just have a strong memory of eating them here, it seems like the perfect place to get a plate of them. Hurricane drinks had us feeling pretty good. Prices were reasonable. Big shout out to Ibrahim for taking care of us, a pleasure to talk to and he was very attentive. The rest of the staff around the restaurant and gift shop were also very nice. If every location was as great as this one, I think many of them would have survived.

An absolute summer oasis towards the end of summer. I’d like to share my family’s last year’s summer experience here. A long drive from Dallas was truly worth every mile. The food was as always good along with the jungle magic as well as the boat ride adventure which was a fun activity.

We are visiting from California and I have to say the quality of food at the rain forest cafe in Texas is top notch. My salmon was amazing loved it one of the best salmon ive had. My kids loved there food. Our server Michael was amazing super attentive. Excellent service. 10/10

Excellent customer service by Anthony. What a pleasure it was to talk with him. We ordered the nachos and we're very pleased that it was able to be big enough for my husband and myself. The place is awesome and I haven't been to one of these establishments in over 25 years. My husband had a root beer and I had a wonderful strawberry lemonade all for an affordable price. Glad we stumbled upon this place by accident. Took several pictures so enjoy. Blessings for 2026. Oh and forgot to mention we did take the river ride below. We may be seniors but it was so fun to do something different. Thank you Vincent for your help on that.

I ordered the cheese curds and spinach dip as an appetizer (reallly good), my wife ordered the Pastalya and I ordered the crispy bruschetta chicken. Great experience for the kids! They also had a ballon artist that came to the table and created tons of different animals, flowers, etc.

First time to Galveston and a Rainforest Cafe. Excellent experience. Leisa provided excellent service and was exceptional with our 4 and 7 yr old grandkids. Good food portions and tasted great. Grandkids had the pizza and hot dogs and they had no complaints. Topped off our meal with the Sparkling Volcano desert which the grandkids loved. Had to spoil them a little further by getting the bubble swords/lasers in the gift room which they loved. Definitely will be back. Thanks Leisa for your patience and service.

Came in with my kiddos today and the gift shop and store to walk through was amazing while we waited for our table. We also road the adventure boat through the jungle and had a blast. The problem came when we came because our name was called, a customer walks in front of us without saying excuse me and demands the host to acknowledge her. Now the the host helped her and asked me to wait although they were already in the midst of helping me. (Not to big of a deal). The food was delightful I forgot to take pictures. The portions are perfect size adults and kids. I waited 30 minutes til a waiter came and actually served us (he was passing our table and helping others being pregnant with 2 little ones I was little over it but I remained patient. This was the service all night I made sure to ask for everything at one time so that it wouldn’t be a long wait. We finish eating getting our check after another 25 minutes waiting (still see waiter floating around assisting people after me asking for the check). After paying as I’m walking out with my kiddos the waiter ran us down and asked if it was a problem with the service because he wasn’t happy with the tip. I expressed to him what my concerns were but he walked off with an attitude.. now normally that would make me not wanna go back however everything else during this experience and outing was amazing and I think next time I’ll just ask for a different waiter.

This is a neat childrens environment restaurant, although it was sad to see kids watching an I pad instead of looking around and visiting with family. There were lots of aquariums to look at. Food is okay, we had to ask for refills of tea, etc. not a place we would regularly go as this is a ‘tourist trap’ with overpriced toys, etc. Not cool about having to walk through the store to get to the Restaurant. All of the electronic animals and plastic jungle plants are dusty looking.

We brought the kids in for lunch and had such a wonderful experience thanks to Robyn and her trainee Aimee! From the moment we sat down, they were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and patient with our little ones. They made the whole meal fun and stress-free for our family.

We love Rainforest Café in Galveston! We've been coming for the last 4 years. We finally got to try the boat ride this year, it was way better than I expected. Above my expectations! Highly recommend! Well worth the $$ The wait staff and employees are always top notch. The food is good and my kids always have a blast. The only small complaint I had this time, was the volcano brownie changed! We didn't care for the 3 round cakes. We loved the brownie better. But that's a small complaint, no biggie. Just tell corporate we prefer the brownie. My kids had face painting, the guy is amazing, he's always been friendly and provides excellent customer service (silly hat and lights) forgot his name. Hes been there for years. Overall great time! We will be back next time♡

Nothing really to complain about. It's a great place to take kids and eat a decent meal. The atmosphere is fantastic and will keep folks entertained. The food selection could use more options for adults. There is a kids menu. Clean place, though! I will say that I was very happy with the amount of protein that was in the chicken and shrimp jerk bowl that I got. Most places could go extra heavy on the noodles, but Rainforest Cafe didn't skimp on the meats. I highly recommend asking for a booth.

It was a Tuesday evening around 6:30pm and we just wanted a quick bite. The regular dining room was full and the wait time was 30 minutes. We didn’t want to wait and the hostess suggested us to go to the bar area. We sat at a table there and we had to place our order at the bar. We had to wait a while for the bar tender to take our order because she was pretty busy. Overall the food was pretty good.

The Rainforest Cafe is always a fun place to go. However I think the decorations are better than the food. They did a pretty decent job on my fish tacos but the prices are outrageous. Charging $25 for a salad is just ridiculous. The ride is cute and adorable, and the volcano eruption is always fun. Altogether a fun evening!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon . Be prepared for long wait times if you don't have a reservation ( we had to wait for almost an hour) which wasn't too bad because it's right next to the beach and there's a decent amount of exploring you can do onsite. Now once we got seated, the service was quite quick. I got the rainbow colada and the burger. The portion sizes are decent for the price and the food tasted good. Definitely recommend trying just for the ambience !

The food was okay. I got the trio that had ribs, steak and coconut shrimp. The shrimp was tasty, the ribs were okay and the steak was so so. The chef got the temperature right as I requested medium rare. But it was on the small side. Needed a little more seasoning. My kids did say their pasta was "insane" so it must be good.

Went for a friend’s 20 year anniversary party. Atmosphere, was spectacular. Food was decent. Service was top notch. We enjoyed the restaurant and it was nice. If you have children I highly recommend this place.

Wasn't overly impressed. Of course I don't have young children anymore either. Was a 2 hour wait for a table. We sat outside to wait and did enjoy the DJ who really did a great job keeping folks entertained while waiting. They have a caricature artist to is quite good and can help pass the time. The food was good, not great. Again I think they are more interested in souvenir sales than anything. Service was pretty good, also not great. Not hating on this place, just giving my view and opinion.

Was kinda upset because this is one of my favorite restaurants. It was super crowded, and once we got seated it felt rushed and I was sat at table right at the entrance away from all the cool animals and fish. I didn’t get to see or experience much of anything. Didn’t get the experience I wanted. But the food was great and the gift shop and water ride was great! Not to bad on price either. Hoping when I get to come back it’ll be a better experience!

Rainforest Cafe, the atmosphere was fun and entertaining but the food was disappointing and highly overpriced. The appeal is definitely geared towards kids. They make it fun and exciting with all the animals and animal sounds. Some animals hang from the trees and even move every now and then. The lights dim low periodically and it can feel like you’re in a rainforest with the rumbling sound of thunder. Fun and enjoyable for the kids. A cool place for birthday parties as well. We took our kids and celebrated their birthdays at the Rainforest Cafe in Disney Springs in Florida and were satisfied with the experience. But if you’re planning on going to have dinner with your adult children, it’s not as exciting nor entertaining. Their menu doesn’t only cater to kids, they have an extensive menu that adults can enjoy. For what we ordered and paid for, I wouldn’t go back just to have dinner.

The place is okay. I would say the food is nothing spectacular you can get it anywhere else for half the price. What you're paying for is all the scenery all the forest looking stuff inside the restaurant which is pretty cool. I'm glad I went to experience it but definitely isn't something that I would go constantly. I've already seen it one time so I'll probably won't go for a good while. It's a little bit expensive to drink and eat there so just be prepared to bring the $ . I was waiting for my name to be called we were on the list. My girl got a mai tai I got a draft beer of Michelob ultra and my son a Sprite. And it was $35. Then when we sat down and eat I drank two more beers got a meatloaf plate my girl got a pasta and my son the kids pizza and it was $90 . And do not get the pizza for your kids it was terrible , tasted all rubbery and stuff I also did not have enough tomato sauce on it, I don't understand how you can go wrong with a pizza specially at a pricey place like this I had to give my son half of my meatloaf. Overall the place I believe you're just paying for the atmosphere it does really look cool on the outside and I side. I recommend it to check it out one time, But I have had better food in Galveston. Like the restaurant salsas, brick House tavern , and little daddy's those are just a few dimension. But I must say customer service is really good they took care of us and they were very polite.

This place is a hit or miss when it comes to food. The chicken sandwich was good (no problem there). My wife is a vegetarian and only had 1 option (pasta), which ended up being over cooked and mushy. With the time we were made to wait even with reservations, she didn't want to complain and ended up eating half. My 3 yr old wanted a hotdog....because she's 3. She didn't like the bun or the fries. My 8yr old wanted spaghetti from the kids menu. At first, they brought macaroni (which is also an option), but we sent it back because she only likes long noodles (parents understand). The waitress acted surprised, but the kid menu clearly has 2 pasta options, my daughter wanted the spaghetti with no sauce (ended up being good)(she really disliked the fries). Oh!!!! When someone orders the volcano cake, the wait staff has to come out of the kitchen howling. I'm sure they absolutely love doing that 30+ times a day.

HORRIBLE FOOD, STEER CLEAR! My wife and I decided to stop in and try this place after being at the beach all morning and afternoon. We arrived at 3:30 and the place was packed! Why it was packed I have no ideas, because this was a major letdown. We ordered the Cheese Curds to start with. These were very tasty, but that's were the goodness ended. We both ordered the Ribs, Steak, and Shrimp Trio. The food came out about 7 minutes after ordering and it was all cold, both my wife's food and mine. The Steak was not seasoned at all, was cold, and tasted like it had been soaking in water. The Ribs had a thin line of drizzle of BBQ sauce on them and were cold and not seasoned whatsoever. The Coconut Shrimp would have been good if they were warm, but like the rest of the food, they were also cold, as if they had been cooked hours before and just sat out for hours, the crispy fried outer shell of the shrimp was room temperature and slightly soggy. I wish I could have gotten my money back, because the food was gross and it seemed like nobody cared at all.
