My wife and I had a great dinner— Buffalo chicken wraps and veggie plate. Food was hot and full of flavors. Prices were very reasonable. Atmosphere was relaxing g with music and conversation not too loud. Our server Nicole took good care of us. We will be back!

Running crazy the morning of New Year's Eve ... but needed to come have lunch. I have to say coming into Cheddars ... the front hostess Laurie greeted us with a smile. She remembered us from our last visit and that is something to be commended. It definitely is awesome to meet great service people like her.

We had great service with our large group of 10. I was actually amazed. Seated fairly quickly, orders taken within a reasonable time and food delivered in a timely manner. Refills on drinks and chips for our appetizer. Food served hot. If this location wasn't so far from our home, I'd return frequently.

Really good food, prices weren’t bad, and when they say “giant slice of cake” they mean it

Entered the restaurant, the young lady absolutely could care a less anyone came through the door. First seated in a booth. Loud stuck in a corner, hey not mad. Just moved to the bar. This bartender was”Amazing to watch. He didn’t miss a beat!!! I would say in the bar area 15 tables and occupied 8 bar and tables, w multiple people. Anyway, didn’t ignore one person. Young man with more hustle and personality than anyone I have seen in any customer service in my life time!!!!

This restaurant provides the most delicious steak I ever ate....tender and juicy. The starters are unique and tasty. The staff were cool and friendly. The prices compared to the quality provided is acceptable. We waited almost 20 minutes before we were admitted. I do recommend this restaurant and I will come back again for sure.

Visited around 1 pm on a Monday. 2 adults. Greeted upon entering. Seated immediately. Waitress arrived for drink orders in less than a minute. Drinks were out within a few minutes at which time our order was taken. Food did not take long, cold items were cold and hot items were hot, order correct, all Food was good. (Croissants, sirloin, salad, green beans, fish & chips.) Checked on us several times (not annoyingly). Price was not bad ($33). Several staff members spoke as we left (thanking us for coming, telling us to have a good day.) Overall a good experience. Clean restaurant, comfortable noise levels, a little on the cool side (but I get cold easily), and every employee we encountered had a smile on their face and spoke to us. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Cheddars as usual knocked it out of the park. The food was very good and I'd definitely recommend. So often you find that a restaurant that's not a steak house can't really cook a steak but they definitely cooked it perfect. I'd definitely recommend getting dinner with your family here.

Cheddars is one of our first go to restaurants. We've been dining there for years and the food has always been great, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere is fantastic! I recommend anything on the menu but I tend to gravitate to the country fried steak or chicken tenders. You won't be disappointed! Highly recommend!

Carol was a great hostess. She was attentive and friendly. She was already taking care of a party of 10 at the bar, along with other guest sitting in the bar area. The drinks were good, and the food was great. Our food order didn't take too long, and it was made when ordered. The croissants were great. We had a great time thanks to Carol!

The to-go staff here is always great. I’m a courier driver, and this spot is conveniently on my route. Sometimes I stop in just for sides and a mango tea :-) to hold me over. About a week or two ago, a gentleman helped me in the evening, and today I came in again after working both my day job and side gig, too tired to cook. Even though it was close to closing, the young lady who took my order was extremely helpful and patient. I truly appreciate the impressive customer service here and highly recommend this location.

From start to finish, we loved this restaurant! Started with chips and queso and cheese curds. Appetizers came out quick and were very good. The drinks did not disappoint, the entrees were perfect and delicious and our server was on point!

Had an early dinner here today, we were immediately seated, our server Lissette was so nice, she gave us the right amount of attention. We had the spinach dip and chips, they also brought out this buttered bread.. delicious! We both had ribs and shrimp, my sides were corn and mashed potatoes.. I had the strawberry lemonade, yummy. The ribs were tender, the corn was buttered just right, heads up if you order this with grilled shrimp it comes with rice, (I don’t like rice). Don’t judge me.. Our waiter Alec took our drink and menu order with great precision and no complaints there. The restaurant is always busy and plenty of laughs and enjoyment with family and friends alike. Bathrooms are maintained well and areas cleaned regularly as guests vacate tables. Drinks: • Mango Tea - Very refreshing and enjoyable Appetizers: • Honey Butter Croissants - They were so nice and warm, the butter was melting on top. • Texas sized Chicken Nachos - Three of us enjoyed this appetizer. We asked for the ranch and bbq on the side for those that don't like it on their portions. Main Dish: • Steak and Half Rack Baby Back Ribs - both of our servings were excellent, asked for well done, but was still so soft and tender despite that. Sides Ordered: • Steamed Broccoli - Warm, crunchy and good with steak and ribs. • Sweet Baby Carrots - The sweetness and warmness of these Baby Carrots was delightful. • Loaded Baked Potato - Butter, cheese and sour cream. Cheddar’s is always a solid choice, and I genuinely enjoy eating here. The food is consistently delicious, and it’s a great spot for gathering with friends—especially after church when we’re celebrating or just fellowshipping. The atmosphere is always lively (and packed), but I don’t mind waiting since I know what to expect. That said, I’ve noticed the portions have gotten smaller. My plate kind of looked like a kids' meal, which was disappointing, but at least the flavors didn’t disappoint. Service-wise, our waiter wasn’t the most enthusiastic, but he was efficient and got everything we needed, so no real complaints there. Overall, still a great spot, but I hope they bring back those hearty portions we all love!

Server looked like she didn't like her job. Took a long time to come to our table and our food was brought out after another table that ordered after us, they had the same food we ordered. Cool looking place though and the host was very sweet, smiley and friendly.

Enjoyed eating here for a change. My son had the alcohol Texas tea drink and liked it. Only $5.99! He had steak and coconut shrimp liked shrimp the best. Steak was overcooked but we didn't say anything. I had a cheeseburger but it was meh, wouldn't order again. Chicken pot pie was good on a previous visit. They also give you honey butter croissants when you sit down which are a nice treat. They told us the coconut shrimp will be switched out to beer batter shrimp soon! As sorry we had already started eating before I remembered to take photos!

This was my first time at a Cheddars so i didn't really know what to expect on the menu but they're similar to other restaurants of the sort that serve hamburgers, ribs, etc. The service started out strong but fizzled a little at the end. The food was pretty good; we had the smokehouse burger and the buffalo chicken wraps. I had a large Yuengling as well and the price of a large draft beer was very reasonable.

Tried the limited time steak tips over rice. Was supposed to have sour cream in it which I could not taste. NO sides come with this dish and the amount given in a bowl was very small. It also was over peppered. Basically not up to Cheddars standards, especially with small amount of entree with NO SIDE.

Cheddar's did a good job today! I neat up with my friends for lunch! The food was good! The service was good! Our server allowed me to customize my order! I switch white fish for salmon is the blackened caijun combo! I appreciated that small gesture! It made my day! Come on out and be spoiled for a little while.

The Buffalo Chicken wraps and the New Orleans pasta were great, but the pot pie could really use some seasoning (I think they’ve changed the recipe recently so it was not as good as what I’ve had at the same place earlier). But we ordered the Sundae for dessert it was very good too. Overall, their food is not the best but is still really good. I love the place aesthetics and the service!

Waitress was nice and attentive to our needs. We were seated very quickly, we went around late lunch (1:30-2:30pm). Atmosphere was nice and friendly. I ordered the queso and chips with were nice and hot. I also ordered the chicken parmigiana (which are tenders topped with marinara sauce and cheese) and my fiancé ordered the buffalo tenders. Both entrees were good and hot. I was a bit skeptical about my order but I was very much satisfied.

This location is one of the better ones. We got there when they opened so it was still pretty slow. Our service was a bit slow but the waiter was apologetic for that. I ordered the New Orleans Shrimp pasta and it was decent. There was a good amount of shrimp and sausage in it and the food was nice and hot when it came to the table.

This place really humms with activity. We were surprised how quickly it was filling on a Friday afternoon. Food selection is great and servers are pretty attentive considering the crowd at the door waiting to get a table! Since the pandemic, Cheddars is one of the few places we get takeout from. It's easy to order with their app and typically the wait for curbside delivery is 15 minutes or less. They notify you via text 15 minutes before your meal is set to be done. A link in the text let's them know where you park. It's so easy. Our meals have been delivered hot to the car, even those croissants are included. I love that they also take Google Pay.

One of my favorite places to eat out. The food is still as good as pre-COVID and I love the atmosphere. It's almost always clean. Our waitress could have been more responsive.

I would actually give the food a touch under 5 stars. For a chain restaurant, I can give it 5 stars. Service was good, but the wait person after being asked twice, never brought the item that I requested. Atmosphere was quite comfortable and typical of "homey" national chains. In all, I will go again.

Server wasn't great as it was her last day at this location she didn't care to provide great service. She forgot to put in one of our friends meals, so we let her know that we were missing one she didn't acknowledge that she heard us so we let her know again and she then stated with attitude "I heard him". She then brought out a meal but it was a completely different meal than ordered because she didn't ask him what he ordered. Eventually she brought out the correct meal. At this time we informed the manager who informed us she was from another store and was going back. We then ordered 2 cookie monsters with extra whip cream. Literally the whole dessert was whip cream, to the point the manager came by asked if we wanted it like that. The manager and previous experiences is the reason I gave 4 stars. This location has been great aside from this experience. To the waitress Andria it's not our fault you don't want to work at this location, you don't fit anyways.

Cheddars has been one of mit daughters go to places growing up. For years it’s the queso with beef and chips that she would use as her meal and then move to chicken pot pie and now as a young adult she’s gone to the grilled chicken and Cesar salad. I’ve always gotten the hamburger or buffalo chicken wraps which is what I got here today. The picture shows three on my plate by they actually give you four and 1 side. I got the side salad with balsamic. Good side salad and plenty of wraps. I like these wraps here because the buffalo sauce is spiced at the right heat level for me (mild). Wife got the pot pie and several men got the chicken tenders. The tenders look to be the same chicken that is in the wrap. Overall had 8 folks and heard no complaints other than we were a little tight around the tables which were at twin different heights. I sat in the middle and my wife on the other side. Always interesting when the table is off about two inches from one another. Had a server whose name was Braden. Was excellent.

Cheddars, the place my partner loves and I find just okay. The service is always great and the food is mediocre. Surprisingly the drinks are always delicious, lemonade is fresh and the Texas sweet tea( Firefly Sweet Tea vodka, amaretto, lemonade and more vodka) is always made strong. I enjoy the honey butter croissants and my wife loves the lemon pepper chicken. My shrimp Alfredo sauce was tasty, but the shrimp were overcooked. I got the lemon chicken. I didn't like mine because it was really rubbery. But my husband got the chicken fried chicken and that came out really good. The service was great! The broccoli n cheddar rice was good as well. Didn't care for the green beans. But the whole experience was ok.

We had a party of 9 for dinner. It was around 7:30 so the restaurant was not crowded. The server named Nicole E. greeted us fairly quickly with croissants and took our drink orders. The service was mediocre until it was time to pay and that's when it went completely downhill. The bill was not separated and it took a cool 30 to 40 minutes for the staff to figure out how to do it. And then they still got it wrong. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. I'm not sure if we will visit this location again.

My to-go experience has always been good. My in store service was okay. Very nice customer service is well known here. Food and drinks are always consistently good (only one time during a to-go order have we received moldy bread.. it was kindly taken care of by a manager). The cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to Darden standard. Quite honestly, the restaurant was downright dirty.

They were not busy and we received our appetizer quickly, but our food took forever and was lukewarm when it was finally delivered. Apparently they offer hot croissants but our waiter didn't say anything about them. We had to hunt down someone for tea refills and the table smelled like someone's perfume or cologne. It gave me a massive headache.

When we arrived at this location, we had to wait in our car for 30 minutes, before we could be seated. Then when we were seated, we found that the only two things my girlfriend ever orders, were not on the menu any more. It was the whole reason we ever go to a Cheddar's. It was the cheese bites and the potato soup. She can't eat much, so it's the perfect meal for her. Then when we got our drinks, the waitress forgot our straws. To top it off, she never even asked if we wanted refills...only if we wanted desert.

We haven’t been to a Cheddar’s in over a year, but I loved the service and atmosphere here in the past, so we chose to eat here last night for our 10th anniversary. Well, upon visiting this location for the first time in over a year, I definitely noticed some major differences in the food quality. We ordered the bourbon salmon and shrimp, and the shrimp was good but the salmon was hard and overcooked. The croissants were noticeably smaller than they used to be, and seemed to be a different, less airy and flaky recipe. The green beans that I would usually get in a side bowl in the past, packed with bacon and flavor, were served on the side with no visible bacon, lackluster flavor, and looked completely out of a can. My husband and I both commented on how different the food quality was than even a year ago, and not in a good way. We probably won’t be back to any Cheddar’s location in the future. I’m still upset I picked this over saltgrass for my anniversary dinner. That being said, our server Miles was wonderful, and the broccoli and cheese casserole there is still top notch. The drink my husband ordered was good. Just not enough for me to come back to a Cheddar’s anytime in the near future.

How far they have fallen. Cheddar's used to be a Texas treasure. The low price doesn't make up for average food and below average service. No reason to go back and hope for improvement.

First off the waitress was great, this review is about the food and management. We waited longer then usual, my wife and I had not realize that our food hadn't arrived in a normal amount of time until the waitress said she is going to check with the manager about our order and send him by to speak to us. Waitress came back by to see if the manager had come by, but no he had not. Well a while later food was delivered by management. The green beans were under cooked, chicken fried chicken was almost burned. Manager changed our sides for us but the carrots were overly sweet and broccoli was just bad. Nothing was up to the usual good quality. I don't know what happened. We have been to Cheddar's many times before in several cities and the food has always been of great quality. I will have to wait a while before my wife and I go back if we go back. Can't recommended the Chedder's in Garland Texas as of right now.

The atmosphere is like most Cheddars. Young. Friendly. Energetic. No matter how slow business may be in that hour. Now. That being said. I don’t know who cooked my cookie. I made it back to work and pictures speak for themselves. Parts of the cookie was soft enough to eat. I was not going back to that establishment. I do appreciate placing the chocolate sauce in another secure container. But I could not enjoy the cookie, if you would call it that.

Manager was rude. I was refused a refund after I found a hair in my food. The restaurant was clean, though. Quality wasn't good, as food seemed reheated and greasy.

Hostess needs disability training. I am recovering from brain eye tumor removal surgery. Clinging to my husband trying to get to a booth. She walks us past multiple empty booths without checking on me. Then the special dish we came for was burnt to a crisp. Waste of money. Panera Bread for me next time. Hostess should be fired.

Decided to take my children here bc it's been a while since we've been to a Cheddar's. I was hesitant bc I've had bad experiences at other locations, and this one gave the same experience. I had to ask them to take my food off the receipt bc my chicken was undercooked. But on top of that only 2 of my 6 children liked their entrees. They ate the fries but I had to get to go boxes for everything else and put in our air fryer with seasoning so I wouldn't feel like I wasted money. I tried the carrot cake and I think they covered it with so many pecans because it was very small and seemed maybe it was the last piece of what they had. My server was amazing. Very nice. But I won't be going back to any Cheddar's. For the amount it costs a party of 7, the food should be done and it should have flavor. I have 1 child that still eats from the kids section. Definitely not worth over $100 to feel so disappointed.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I’m complaining because last week my family and I went to this place and my father got charged 3 times in different amounts, one for $117, $140 and $62. The waitress said it was because they mixed the card machines from the tables. Be careful, we had to go back to request the money back which we got the next day, but still so suspicious, how come they’re gonna mix the machines and how he got charged for 3 tables? And even more suspicious my father got charged a withdrawal fee when he never went to an atm to get cash back. We used to be good customers but never come back.

Been to this cheddar’s all the time, but this time was not the best at all. Waiting a long time for food. The fried steak was 90% batter and 10% steak. We also got the t-bone steak medium but was given a dry steak. Was missing sides and never got sauces like we asked for. The server did great and was very patient and kind, was not his fault at all.

The ribs today were dry and no BBQ sauce was included to save them. I was exhausted from driving home from Ft. Worth in 5 o'clock traffic to go a real BBQ restaurant ( Linke in Sachse ). I choose to go with a pickup order from Cheddar's. Big mistake, I just gave away $50.00 for some horrible ribs. 8 hours late I'm still upset and writing this review at 1:30 AM.

Tried to order a kids Alfredo and sub the chicken for shrimp. I've been coming to this cheddars for 3 years now. I've never had an issue doing this. All of a sudden it's a problem. No worries I'll save my money for a different business. $50 bucks with the three orders will go to another business. Cheddars food hasn't even tasted very good lately, threw up the order I ate last time from there anyway. I will permanently stay away this time!

Had a reservation for 6:30. Did not get seated until 7:15. Not sure what the point of the reservation was. Didn't even receive an apology when we inquired about the delay. Do not recommend if you are coming here with a larger party.

I will start out with saying that I loved this place the first time I went last week even if the service was slow, the drinks were good and the salad was good...bragged about it to my husband and friend...went there tonight for her Birthday after going on and on about it..the food tonight HORRIBLE, cold, and steak was a big slab of fat. Fir as cold as the food was it took forever to get it as well as our drinks and lastly the check! I felt like I was being held captive trying to leave the establishment. We did get a discount, but honestly can say that I won't be back for the food that's for sure. The table next to us, same issue cold food. I was really excited about having a new go to, but am still on the hunt. Cheddars when the waiter says we get that a lot when talking about cold food, maybe you should take the hint and get a cook who can produce quality food! Wasted 70 bucks and 2 hours of my life! Won't happen again

We came in for a simple issue of them forgetting croissants we paid extra to get, when we got home with our order there wasn’t a single croissant after ordering 2 entrees. I wouldn’t be writing this review if it was handled better but we spoke to 2 mangers Zach and the GM who both handled the situation terribly. We showed literal bank statements with the total we could not find our initial receipt in which she said would take a while to find on her end. I also work in the restaurant industry and don’t understand how a simple mess up on the restaurant couldn’t get figured out with some sort of credit, it’s cheddars.. won’t be coming back yall got it.

OMG...Inever go anywhere and not tip. I'm a great tipper especially when the service is top tier, but when I tell you this was the most horrible experience from a waitress. I wish I'd got her name because she needs training desperately!!! I only came to this place because they sent a birthday coupon for a dessert. I haven't been to a Cheedars in years, but if safe to say I won't be back!! Happy birthday to me🤨

I felt a little belittled when the young girl said she could not seat us at a booth, the booth were only for two people? And after that, she continued to seat another party of 4 at the booth. A booth would have been more comfortable and convenient for my family especially for my daughter. I have worked in the food industry for many many years and booths DO NOT have restrictions. She needs to be retrained and be taught how to properly host a party.
