They have improved so much in the past few months! The restaurant feels clean and inviting. They have great prices and happy hour specials. The food is usually very good. Service gets slow during busier times, so be prepared for a little wait.

They are one of my family's favorite chains. Food was good. I am worried tho they do be understaffed, the staff we had was very polite. They still were able to service us quickly.

My husband wanted to watch the Kentucky game that aired on SEC+ which we don't have at home. We had other options of places to go to watch the game but Applebees sounded good. I called to make sure they would have the game on and the girl said yes and that if it wasn't on a screen that we could see , we could ask to have the tv switched to the game. I then tried to clarify by saying so you all have the SEC+ channel and she said, without hesitation, yes. So we go. It took our waitress a few minutes to get to our table. We ordered our drinks and appetizer and at some point. Ask about having the TV switched.. She said she would check on it. Over the course of everything we had to ask a couple more times and was eventually, after we got our main course & we were eating, we were told that they indeed DO NOT have the SEC+ channel! At that point, my husband finished eating while I continued to wait for several minutes for some extra sauce for my Alfredo so I could finish eating. We asked for the check & were planning on going somewhere else to catch the rest of the game & spend more money (since you can't just go in a place & watch without ordering something). I felt we needed to inform the manager of what had happened and felt like they should at least comp part of our meal. We'll the manager was less than congenial. She said she was sorry about the game & she would talk with whoever told us that they could air the game. Then she said but Ma'ma I am not going to comp your food, you ate it. That's when I told her. Yeah, we ate it because we were still waiting and were not told that you couldn't air the game until after we had gotten our food, but that made no difference to her. Plus I didn't ask for her to comp all of our food. I just said I felt like something should have been comped like maybe our appetizer, but she was having none of that. Needless to say, it will be a while before we return. Not because we couldn't watch the game but really was fairly poor service and then the manager's attitude. Side note, I went to the website looking for a way to post a review and I noticed that the pictures that are on there for the Georgetown location are not pictures of the actual restaurant here in Georgetown, that should not be allowed.

Food was just okay, service was slow because of no staffing. Stopped on the road to eat, but should of stopped somewhere else. The waiter did the best he could.

There is a challenge being too honest when people in Kentucky are just so friendly and polite. But here we go, the ratings don’t make this a stand out location. Something is up. We were on the road and after a 10hr day, wifey wanted a salad. Her chicken Ceasar was ok. Not terrible, but it fab. I had the lime shrimp mex bowl. The cilantro rice was surprisingly good, but as a whole the flavor was not doing it for me. Too much of the lime tasting sauce. I did order my first and only old fashioned in Kentucky. It was sad. Mostly muddled orange. Maybe I don’t know what is an old fashioned even though I have had more than a few, I just don’t remember it being an orange infused cocktail that was way too sweet. Seems like a few locals and a few passers by. Place is hospitable and the staff nice and helpful but can’t carry for the other Shortcomings. Maybe some insight QC program could help.

Mozzarella sticks were cold. Ordered one of their specials. It was not good. Won't br going back anytime soon. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is good.

Management is limiting staff and it took me an average of an hour per beer to get served. on a slow night: Good job management, you’re increasing your bonus by saving on labor costs????…… lol idk i loved coming here until now

This Applebee's was just ok for me, about average I would say. Nice friendly service, a little slow but not terrible. The food was mediocre for the price. A little difficult to get in the parking lot. Plan on spending $35-$45 for 2 people.

Average dining experience. Nothing too great, nothing bad. The host definitely seemed like she'd rather be doing anything but working... Server was pretty alright. High prices for quantity and quality...

We ordered online and put special instructions in the order for extra sauce. The server walked away as I was checking the to-go order. I asked another server for extra sauce while she was on the phone; she shook her head and went back to texting for several seconds. I then asked another server beside her and she went to get it, and the other server looked up at me and smiled and started laughing at me to my face. I left the restaurant disappointed. I will not be back at the Georgetown location. I waited tables for years and never treated a customer so disrespectfully as this server.

Ordered my food over an hour in advance and had to wait an additional 40 minutes just to receive the food that i paid for. Spent 20 min in the togo waiting line and nobody came to say a single word. i then park and walk through the main doors to face……nothing…. no host at the front nobody to come see me just an empty dining room save for a geriatric woman and some Nickelback on the speakers. after being left to dry for the second time now i return to my car and pull back into the togo waiting line, only to be faced with another 10 min of waiting, proceeding i return to the dining room for a second time to be greeted with a “it’ll be a minute” by the bartender across the restaurant and then somebody from the kitchen finally gets the gumption to talk with me and i tell them i’m here for a pick up and they tell me to return to the line outside. i was at my wits end. i return for a third time and after another 5 minutes of nothing i could no longer take this misery. i had to honk multiple times until an employee begrudgingly comes out and asks who i’m picking up for and hands me the food. 2 hours. TWO WHOLE HOURS. from the time i ordered my food to the time i received it i could have watched an entire movie. and after all of this waiting what am i rewarded with???? cold applebees. why do i do this to myself. i will never set foot inside of an applebees for the rest of my life.

I will say food was good even with boneless wings floating in sauce. The service should have been better. Not only did we get seated at a dirty table she had to many things going. She brought one of our drinks under her armpit spilling it everywhere while bringing things to other tables. Not to mention carrying Togo containers with her hands all in where food goes. Plus they need good cleaning.

Was not impressed. My Grandma can't eat spicy food and asked if the tortilla soup was spicy, served said no, but it was extremely spicy, had to give it to my Uncle and all she could eat was the mashed potatoes. The steak was mediocre at best. They messed up what we were trying to convey, didn't get one of our meals. My Uncle had to wait for a new meal and we were already done eating. Don't waste your time coming here with so many other great places to eat in Georgetown and Lexington. Won't be coming back. There's also no hostess for seating and ignored until you finally seat yourself 😞
