Opiniones de Misu Sushi Georgetown
Excellent fresh food, very quick service, and sweet, professional staff. I have been coming here for years and the quality has never dipped! The decor is casual, simple, and clean. Great place to go if you especially want a delicious meal served promptly. (I wasn't in any rush, but it came out quickly regardless.) There is usually no wait for a table or booth, so you can be seated promptly. If you have a sweet tooth and aren't driving, I recommend the plum wine. And a good, healthy, low-carb counterpoint to that is the Above the Sea roll which uses thinly-sliced cucumber instead of rice to roll up the sushi. I've never seen that done before! In general, they have a good variety of both Japanese and American Chinese food and beverages. This place is also within easy walking distance of San Gabriel Park. I only wish for this place to continue to do well! They deserve it. And you will enjoy your food and time there.
Amazing customer service and food! The sushi rolls are fresh and have the perfect rice to filling ratio, and their kani salad is the best I’ve had. You don’t find many places with as good of customer service as them anymore.
Absolutely perfect! I enjoy a calm atmosphere when eating out (which I rarely do) so Misu Sushi is ideal for me. Excellent service without being TOO "in your face". I got the lunch bento with chicken teriyaki. YUMMY YUMMY. I will be back!
This place was a little hidden with the construction but very worth it. Has the small town feel to it as it is smaller. The food is fresh! The gyoza is probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time and I’m married to an Asian. I love this food and will be coming back!
First time visiting this restaurant and had a really nice experience! We started with seaweed salad and miso soups which were all great. I had the dynamite roll which was really good, my husband had the sashimi plate which he says was fresh and generous with the pieces! The inside had a calm atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and attentive! Good little sushi hole in the wall in Georgetown. Will definitely be going back!
We love Misu Sushi. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is calming, with the appropriate lighting for dinner. It's always quiet here. Everything we have tried is good, from the tuna, yellowtail sushi to the spicy salmon roll, to the shumai, chicken katsu, and shrimp tempura udon noodle soup. 😋🙌🏼 Keep up the great work!
I was in the mood for sushi, and Misu was in the area with good reviews. We showed up for a late lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and fast. When the food arrived at the table the presentation was excellent. The food was delicious and we will be back again and again. Very nice job.
BEST sushi I ever had!! They make incredible food! I only have good things to say about Misu Sushi and their entire team. My husband and I love coming here for both lunch and dinner (if they had a breakfast option we would definitely try that too) 100% Highly recommend!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻 Besides their sushi definitely try out their spring rolls we love those too😋
Little hole in the wall but BIG flavors. Don't miss trying the Dragon Ball appetizer. It was really dynamic. If we hadn't been so full we'd have ordered another. They have a kids menu with chicken nuggets making it the perfect place for adults to enjoy really good sushi and not be left without choices for the kids.
Great place to eat off of I-35 in Georgetown. I really enjoyed this place. I started by ordering sn egg roll. Nothing extraordinary about it, it seems commercially made. Next I went with the chicken fried rice. When they brought out the plate the chicken looked boiled. This is one that don’t let your eyes judge for you. The fried rice was actually very good and did not need anything else. The star of the show was the Sakura roll. It had tempura shrimp, mango avocado spicy tuna and I think some other fishes. It was covered with like a savory sauce and some jalapeño slices. It was delicious, I enjoyed every bite of this roll. The taste was something like not too sweet but savory and not spicy for my taste. I added a little soy sauce and chili oil and every bite was perfect. The tempura was crunchy from the first bite to the last. I really enjoy this place. The outside typical strip mall facade and the inside is not decorated. I am glad they focused on their culinary skills rather than their decorating skills. Service was ok nothing to write home about.
Did not disappoint! I've been here 3 times in the last couple weeks and it's been fabulous each time. The service is fast and good. The sushi is fresh and presentation is amazing. Do yourself a favor and order the Tuna Tower. Small things that impress me. Water (filtered) is served in a glass (vs plastic) without a straw, which I love as I prefer not to add the plastic straw into the environment. Also, you get chopsticks as your utensil. I'm sure forks would be available upon request. Definitely worth the visit.
We haven't been there in a few years. We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant looks clean. There are plenty of servers and helpers. There is enough parking. The hot and sour soup was probably the best I have had - ever. Rich, spicy, and with some contents besides broth. The salmon sashimi was gobbled up by the yute. The fish is fresh, no odor and tasty. We both had bento boxes. BTW, past Japanese sushi and sashimi, the boxes seem to have Chinese choices. The salads, California rolls and rice were good. One box, the orange chicken had a thick tasty sauce. The other box was shrimp and vegetable tempura. The shrimp was a perfect stick. It tasted good but I am not sure if it was fresh or frozen. The vegetables only had a flour coating. No panko like the shrimp. The squash tasted flour mealy. The broccoli was burned.
We live in the area and had never been to Misu so we gave it a try. The food was pretty solid. No complaints, everything tasted good but nothing was wonderful to stand out either. The environment isn't the most appealing, but the service is very good and prices are reasonable compared to similar places. So for decent sushi is a solid little spot.
Arrived after the lunch rush and were the only ones in the restaurant. Our server was extremely polite and helpful, and the facility was very clean. Lots of parking. The pictures of sushi that from other reviewers look as you would expect a sushi roll to look. We ordered the three sushi roll lunch special and were somewhat disappointed in the small size. These were not the rules you would get if ordering a regular item. However the rolls tasted fine and the sushi seemed fresh. I would give them another shot, but would skip the lunch special and order regular rolls.
Sushi was good but sushi rolls were extremely small. One had 6 rolls and the other rolls were a little bigger than a quarter in width. We have been to many sushi places but these were very small. We left hungry and had to go home to finish filling up. The $50 we spent was not worth it unfortunately.
I was initially excited to see so many 5 star reviews. But the quality was very disappointing. This place would not even be 1 star in large metropolitan areas. The quality is very poor even for Americanized sushi. The soup was bland, and definitely not made from bonito. Unagi roll hardly had any eel in it (see photo). The sushi rice was undercooked and had no vinegar in it. As a fair warning, do not trust high reviews of ethnic food in small American towns. The locals are not exposed to high quality sushi to give fair reviews.
