Nous avons pris une souris d’agneau avec ses légumes croquants et un écrasé de pomme de terre; un sans faute!!! De plus très copieux!!!Ce restaurant mérite largement le détour. Visited in August only just realised I forgot to review! I'm so surprised as this was our favourite restaurant came on wedding day and visited again couple nights later as loved it. Food from bertha was amazing we had the meat longboard to share and really filled us up. Waiter was pleasant , setting on marina is beautiful, prices are very reasonable we found. Definitely will be returning this year.

I went yesterday Aug 2025Food was delicious, lamb shank was awesome especially with the gravy. Ribs were lovely and so was the ibérico and the steaks. Staff were very polite and attentive without being on top of you every five minutes asking if you want or need anything but seemed to be available when you needed something. These dishes are priced at what I would say a normal price for Gibraltar, that’s my opinion. Starters we had were lovely too. The burrata it’s small portion but looks picturesque and desserts were lovely. So that’s it without writing a story but will go again.

Coming from the Caribbean, am usually concerned about European cuisine being bland. Everything was excellent, Fish was great and fresh, soft and buttery. Added a little lemon and salt and it was perfection. Lamb shank was falling off the bone. Portion size was perfect, leaving me fully satisfied. The secret sauce on it was packed with flavor. Service was excellent, despite us arriving without a reservation. Apparently they're usually booked out. Overall awesome experience!

Had dinner and dessert there, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! The manager (tall slim gentleman) was very friendly and the sun in the marina just made the whole experience excellent. Price was also good for the location, so highly recommend.

Had our wedding celebration there. They reserved my wished-for table outside with a beautiful view over the yacht harbour, brought a round on Cava on the house and in general made sure everything was perfectly fine and we had nothing to worry about. The custom-made buttercream-lemon cake tasted delightful and the a la carte dishes were spot on - beautifully cooked as well, all for very modest prices. Overall a wonderful experience to remember and to recommend! Thank you!

Lovely quaint restaurant on the marina. Service… Male front of house waiter left our table to serve two other tables when we asked about allergies (gluten) . He did not return. Young female server came and was very attentive. She took the time to go and ask In the kitchen.. we got good sound advice from her and proceeded to order. Food.. Very good … salmon 👍 barbecue ribs 👍 On query the ribs being gluten free so I could share the huge portion with my husband. Male waiter said NO they are not gluten free. Young lady again went to ask in the kitchen and confirmed they were. I’ll say if the young female had not offered the time and allergies advice we would have left believing they do not cater for allergies. I suggest training be given to male front of house.

My friend held her wedding reception here and i honestly couldn't fault the place we arrived earlier in the day to drop the decorations to Tim who was really lovely and put me at ease straight away as i could tell he knew what he was doing. When we arrived later that evening for the wedding the room was absolutely stunning alex and his team had done a great job. Our server was absolutely lovely i didn't catch her name but she is such an asset to your restaurant. They packed everything up for us so we could collect the next morning. The food on the wedding was amazing and the breakfast the next day was really yummy thankyou so much for a great evening 😊

We spent our wedding night at Rendezvous, and it was amazing. They set up the table exactly how we wanted and even made it extra special with some lovely decorations. The food was fantastic, and as an Argentinian, I can say the empanadas were spot on—just like the best ones back home. The whole experience was perfect and made our night unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion! We loved it so much that we returned the following day and had an amazing steak.

I went to Rendezvous Grill on November 9th 2025. Despite it being a busy Sunday, especially after the Remembrance Day Services and not having a reservation, the staff kindly managed to squeeze me, a solo diner, in. I just wanted a light meal, rather than a Sunday roast. The staff service was excellent; attentive, but not intrusive, the way it should be. Hence they got a good tip from me. The food, (hummus, followed by goat cheese salad), was excellent. The hummus, dressed with poppy seeds and whole curried chick peas, along with gorgeous bread was mouthwateringly delicious. The honey dressing complimented the goat cheese salad perfectly. Highly recommended and it pays to book first! One point of note, like a lot of businesses in Gibraltar, they do not accept American Express. Thank you Rendezvous for making a really memorable meal at the end of my sailing trip!

Excellent service throughout from Angelica from Poland and Dayma from Lithuania. Also, great service from a tall light haired waiter, I didn't catch his name. The food was delicious. Me and my friends and I shared 2 bottles of Rioja and sparking water. We also shared gambas pil pil and provolone starter with bread. I chose the seafood linguine as my main, and it was good value and delicious. We shared a selection of desserts. I'll definitely return. The menu looked so good, and I was really spoilt for choice on what to order.

This restaurant has become a cherished spot for me and my friends – we’ve visited five times in a single week. Situated among others in the area, it stands out for its exceptional service and consistently delicious food. Coming from the UK where service charges are added automatically, we were pleasantly surprised to find no such charges here in Gibraltar. Despite our initial unawareness about tipping customs, the waitresses continued to provide exceptional service, unfazed by the oversight in payment. Each visit has been a delight, with the food consistently exceeding our expectations (Personally I recommend the long boards, great for sharing, we tried the Parillana and the Fish,both long boards were spectacular, oh and the salads will never ever disappoint you, trust me!!!!!!). This restaurant has won our loyalty with its outstanding service and consistently delightful cuisine. Moreover, their selection of alcoholic beverages is extensive, and we ventured to try about a dozen different drinks. Among them, our newfound favorite was the ‘Tinto,’ a delightful mixed drink featuring red wine. I highly recommend trying this unique light-alcohol concoction while enjoying the fantastic sunshine and water view. It’s a gem that deserves recognition for its quality offerings and attentive staff. Beyond their exceptional dining experience, the staff here went above and beyond in hospitality. As newcomers to the area, my friends and I were clueless about local attractions and affordable accommodation. The staff graciously offered us insightful recommendations on places to explore and even suggested budget-friendly stays, including nearby Airbnb options. Their friendly and accommodating nature truly made our entire experience memorable. It's rare to find a place where the warmth of service extends beyond the dining table, making this restaurant not just a great place to eat but a hub of local guidance and hospitality.

Meat is perfectly grilled, pasta is very delicious and the burger is very tasty, the restaurant is located on the harbor where you could watch the ships and the sea. Would definitely return.

We recently spent our 19th wedding anniversary in Gibraltar and decided to try the rendezvous for our evening meal, I spoke with Alex due to the lateness of our booking and asked if there was a chance we could have a water front seat/table however he said those tables were fully booked, but if one became available he would try and accommodate our request. On arrival at the restaurant we were greeted by Alex who had placed us on a lovely table on the edge of the marina, it made our special day complete, however it didn’t just end there as all the staff could not do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable, the food then arrived mine being the ribs and my wife ordering the lamb shank, again this was second to none. The bill came and again I was pleasantly surprised as to the value for money. All in all I would recommend the Rendezvous to anyone visiting Gibraltar. Thank you. Barry

Recently i had my wedding there. It was hard to choose restaurant because i am not from Gib, but i am sure was the best option. Everyone was so pleased with the food, meat and salmon were excellent. They decorated the tables, very nice with fresh flower. Cake was spectacular. Finally we were dancing until they close. It was a fantastic day. 100% recommended. Thank to all the team that made the day run easy with no worries.

This restaurant is on the new Waterfront Quay with both inside and quayside tables. It can get very busy but, being off season, we walked in and got a table OK. Filled up soon after. Food is excellent, but be prepared for large portions. Ordering a starter and sides could work best for a smaller meal. Food was excellent and staff very attentive.

We were docked next to this busy upscale restaurant while staying at Queensway Marina. It is located inside the marina halfway down the board walk. It has large black canopies with the name clearly visible. There is inside dining as well as a nicely decorated patio to eat on the water with a nice view of this upscale marina. They serve Breakfast lunch and dinner closing at 10:30 pm. We arrived at 9:30 pm and were seated on the patio. We ordered a chicken plate and pasta carbonara both dishes were beautifully presented, we also shared a deep fried brie with currant jam as a starter and a bottle of Shiraz. The staff was polite and attentive. We had a very nice night and enjoyed our entire dining experience.

Very nice service, delicious food, very large portions for a small price, lemonade and non-alcoholic mojito were incredibly refreshing and very tasty as well as the food, but the queen was Pavlova, delicious, melting in the mouth, topped with fruit sauce and sprinkled with fresh fruit. Highly recommend this place after a long day exploring Gibraltar 😊

I had my wedding dinner here and it was absolutely spectacular. We had a small group of five of us and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The lamb shank was the most tender I've had in my life and my husband loves his ribeye. My only regret is filling up on the delicious starters, so we didn't make much of a dent on our mains. Beautiful setting, can't recommend enough.

Had a cracking steak made on “big Bertha”. No sauce and was still delicious. Swapped the chips for mash. Wine selection was good and we had a decent red. Thanks for the great service too. Sat outside with a heater. The views are lovely too of the boats around the harbour.

A nice restaurant down by the marina that serves great meals at all times of the day. I came for dinner one night and the food was phenomenal and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. I had such a good experience I had to come back the next day for brunch. Whilst much quieter, the service didn’t dip and the food was still delicious. Definitely recommend for brunch or dinner!

Honestly I spent 1 hour looking at restaurants on trip advisor and google maps before settling on this. I only stayed in Gibraltar on Sunday night and we wanted a late dinner (9pm) but we didn’t realise most places are closed on Sunday or close at like 9:30. I was put off a lot of restaurants in Gibraltar due to reviews or lack of reviews or photos. I was even reluctant about this. However this was honestly such a good experience! 1. Beautiful Sunset Views 2. Extremely lovely staff - we turned up at 10pm (They close 11) we double checked they could serve us and they sat us down - we left nearly at midnight because they let us sit and not rush our meals and drinks (same for other couples) 3. Food was lovely! Mix of Mediterranean, Spanish and British options! 4. Sangria was amazing! I would highly recommend this place for the food and for the service we received!

The service was ok, but we were sat by the entrance to the restaurant and we kept hearing the manager bickering with the other staff. Lobster Tortellini was nice and garlic bread with cheese was delicious. It was freshly baked.

Beautiful location on the marina Ordered a ribeye and a fillet, my wife's fillet was delicious but my ribeye didn't float my boat. It was an average meal with a top end price tag. The staff here are lovely and in hindsight I should have said something to them. £150 for the 2 of us with 2 drinks included is i think the most I've ever spent on a meal out .

Quiet location with a view, friendly staff, good food. There are tables inside as well as outside. They didn't have a lot of vegan options, but the vegan burger tasted good, the olives as well. It is a bit pricey. The order was out fairly fast.

We came for our dinner following our wedding, where we were given a nicely laid table on the waterfront overlooking the boats and sunset. Generally, dinner was very tasty and we opted for the specials. Only comment is that our steak was quite chewy and a bit of gristle, but that may have been the cut. The tortellini was also tasty but generally needs a bit of something in the sauce as it was all one very soft texture. That being said we still very much enjoyed our meal, the highlight for me was the pavlova. Great service too.

A good eatery in a wonderful location on the Marina. The olives were beyond good and on their own warrant a return trip.

Lunch once again with family and buddies from the States was truly a blessing. Started with a delectable tomato burrata salad, crispy deep-fried brie, and savory salt and pepper calamari. The main course was a magnificent spread of Gambas pil pil, succulent lobster and scallop ravioli, grilled salmon steak, flavorful Tuscan chicken pasta, and tender lamb shank. Each dish was a masterpiece, cooked to perfection. Breathtaking views and exceptional service made it a truly unforgettable afternoon.

Comimos pollo, cerdo y cordero y todo fue de muy buena calidad. El servicio fue correcto y no tardaron en servirnos la comida. Lo único que no me gustó es que la carta estuviese sólo en inglés y no la tuvieran disponible en otros idiomas. Un restaurante en Gibraltar puede tener muchos clientes potenciales que no hablen inglés y no tener la carta en otros idiomas es una forma de renunciar -¿voluntariamente?- a clientela. Espero que pronto corrijan ese error.

El restaurante tiene unas vistas al puerto de lujo muy bonitas, si te sientas en terraza. No tienen agua en spray asique recomendable dias de no calor. La comida es normalita no os penseis que comereis rico, las raciones son grandes. Mi niña se cogio las costillas a la barbacoa y no era bbq era tomate. Y mi mujer y yo cogimos la parrillada. Con postres y tal salimos por 100€ la comida.

Lo único que no me gustó es que la carta estuviese sólo en inglés y no la tuvieran disponible en otros idiomas. Un restaurante en Gibraltar puede tener muchos clientes potenciales que no hablen inglés y no tener la carta en otros idiomas es una forma de renunciar -¿voluntariamente?- a clientela. Espero que pronto corrijan ese error.

Excellent service, really fine wine but over cooking a picanha until grey ...nice to sit outside the buzzling street near the marina but cannot recommended due to overcooking

The setting is lovely. Queensway quay is pretty and worth sitting outside in the sun for. The food was medirocre. My wrap came with salad (that was clearly not washed as my leaves had soil on them) and the burger was nice but nothing special. They were however lovely and accommodating for having a baby with us.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious—flawless in every way. We also enjoyed a sangria, which was equally impressive. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. From the moment of making the reservation, the manager’s demeanor was unnecessarily rude. When asked whether we preferred to sit inside or outside, I simply mentioned that we were flexible as long as the seating was shady and cool. His dismissive response—“You cannot control the weather”—felt uncalled for. Upon arrival, things did not improve. Our reservation was for five people, but as the manager exited, he gestured for us to step aside without acknowledgment. When I mentioned our booking, he instructed us to sit at a table set for six. To clarify, I reiterated that our reservation was for five, just in case there had been a mix-up. His response? “If there are six seats, there is enough for five.” Again, this level of rudeness was unnecessary—I was simply there with my family to enjoy our meal. While our waitress was friendly and attentive, it seemed that if she wasn’t the one serving us, other staff members largely ignored our requests, including when we wanted to order dessert. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing. In summary, the food was excellent, but the poor service—especially the behavior of the manager—dampened the overall experience. A real shame, as great food deserves great hospitality.

It would be much easier to recommend this restaurant if they could be bothered to stay open to their stated times. A good but unreliable restaurant is difficult to justify a regular visit to.

Terrible, bugs in food! I don’t understand how this place has a score above 4. We ordered burgers and after my friend had eaten half of it (including salad which came with the burger), she found a huge dead fly between the salad leafs. We notified the staff. After some time the owner came to talk to us, instead of apologizing and not making a deal out of it (these things happen), he implied that WE were the ones putting the fly in the food and that his kitchen is clean. We assured the owner that it wasn’t us and told him to check the cameras. He agreed to do that and left, however he never came back, instead a waitress came bringing us a check: the owner had applied 25% discount on the burger, saying most of the burger was eaten xD. On top of that the waitress messed up our order bringing allergens to my friend which she asked not to bring (mentioning it multiple times during ordering). The sangria was ok.

Waited an hour and a half for some food. The burger ordered was beyond overcooked, inedible and really shouldn’t have been allowed to leave the kitchen. Sent back, obviously meaning that one person was going to be eating after the rest. The next one that came out was absolutely swimming in liquid, non edible and wasn’t finished. Highlighted politely both times to the staff, no apology the second time and very little regard. The burger was removed from the bill but the person that ordered it goes away hungry and disappointed. Another dish with cold vegetables. I know this is not normal compared to the reviews here but there’s a whole family that won’t come back again because it’s just not good enough. Food not good and service very lackluster. Very unfortunate.

Si el tiempo de espera, una hora y pico, no es un problema, la comida es aceptable, aunque la relación calidad/precio, no esté compensada. Lamentable estar dos horas para comer en un sitio caro que no merecía la pena. No lo recomiendo en absoluto, decepcionante...
