Love this place! We make sure to come in for a pint or two when our cruise stops in Gibraltar.

Cracking place, great atmosphere, great staff. Great range of food and drinks all reasonably priced. One of Gibs nostalgic places to visit. You can't visit Gib without a quick trip to the Venture Inn which you'll find in the heart of Gibraltar.

We watched Germany vs Hungary in there. Nice atmosphere, no pressure to drink a lot. Tasty selection of beer and also the Radler is refreshing. Recommended.

Very friendly Irish/Scottish bar, as you enter the main street in Gibraltar. Portraits of two of my Favourite football legends Gorge Best and (slim) Jim Baxter photos on the wall. Will visit this pub again when I'm next in Gib.

Great pub at the bottom of main street. Been our local for around 3 months now. Lovely staff, great food, good selection of beers. Going to miss this gem of a pub when we go back to the UK. Keep up the good work. We will be back to visit 🍻

Bardzo fajny pub. Ryba i frytki niesamowicie smaczne. Pozostale rzeczy, ktore bralismy tez rewelacyjna. Knajpke prowadzi byly marynarz, wiec na jedzeniu musi sie znac. Przychodzi sporo lokalnych mieszkancow. Mysle, ze jest to miejsce z klimatem i warte odwiedzin.

Only Irish pub in the world I have visited where you cannot get a pint of Guinness, lol. They serve it, only not on draught. It is a very well decorated place with something of interest everywhere you look. Landlord served in the forces and it's a very friendly place.

Great pub! Bartender was fast and awesome seeing as it was full and she was the only one on. Food came out fast. Best sandwich I ever had. Great atmosphere for locals and tourists alike. Definitely would reccommend!

Went for meal when in Gibraltar for my birthday in June left my recipe for spicy chicken hope u tried chef .....right ate at some places that offered the best and failed big time as a chef I like my food and good food I always say if bad and if good can't help it I'm afraid in this case the owners the service deffo the fish and chips were spot on couldn't fault it good food and friendly owners who said they had not been there long you would never have guessed hope to return next time we in gib and maybe see spicy chicken strips on menu .....thank you from billy n Wendy would recommend all that go try

Great place to relax after walking off the Rock. The owner was very friendly and treated me like a local regular- despite being an obvious tourist. Very relaxing to sit on the patio with a cold beer and unwind.

Been in and had a great full Irish breakfast breakfast, and a main later another day. There are many good places to eat in Gibraltar and the Venture Inn is right up there. Pub rather than restaurant, but the atmosphere is great. The food doesn't disappoint. Good choice, good portions and pleasant service. Can be a little loud, the pub atmosphere, but the pasta dish I'm working through is tasty and full of seafood 👍🏻👍🏻

I don’t quite understand low opinions on this place. I ordered full English breakfast and Guinness. Food was great, beer also. Very friendly man on the counter. You can pay with card. Also great music playing inside. 100% recommend.

I simply loved having lunch in this place. I had fish & chips. The food was tasty and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. I adore the atmosphere which is really sparkling and authentic. Well done! Thanks for the precious memories.

Visited for first time about a year ago, traditional type bar. popped in for pint and a coffee, served by a lovely friendly woman and been back a few times since and service and atmosphere always spot on

Small Irish bar. With a very friendly Landlady. Well worth a visit. She pours a lovely pint of Guinness.

I visited on the Friday the rygbi World cup semi final of England v Argentina was on. I was surprised that there were not many people there, as the last time I visited Gibraltar was 18 years ago. Anyway, good bar and good atmosphere.

Love this place, just arrived off ferry from Morocco so was hanging out for a beer and real food.Situated in a corner this inn says welcome.With outdoor seating you can watch travellers pass by. The bar is cosy inside with Irish relics and paraphernalia adorning the walls.The staff are very welcoming and hospitable.The beer is good and you should try the fish meal sooo appetising . What a great way to begin your stay in Gibraltar.

I loved the place, a bit oldi-worldi, could be a bit more modern, I loved the food but I thought it was a bit overpriced for what I got, overall I definitely do recommend coming here.

Por qué sí

The food is what you would expect from an Irish bar, good but simple and I recommend visiting. The servers are friendly so don't be afraid to just feel right at home. Come in, say hi and be friendly, you will be met with a jolly reception, a good meal and a few strong drinks!

Go for the very good Fish & Chips for the very reasonable price of 8,5£. The Sheppard Pie was a big disappointment. The “rich gravy sauce” had to be asked for and it felt like Bovril broth thicken with corn starch. Add 2 pints of beers and 2 glass of wines for 20£ (expensive to me in vacation in Spain but maybe normal in Gibraltar), we were at 37£. Nice and typical English pub. Good service. Recommended ? Yes but with the reserves noted above.

It's loud and brash with locals who crowd the bar. Food is home cooked. It's a decent local bar, and the staff are friendly and on the ball. If you can fight your wat past the almost all male locals It's grand.

My father and I enjoyed this friendly, quirky pub frequented by locals. Its not for everyone, but we felt at home there.

Be careful if you’re a tourist. They didn’t take a card and I only had Euros. Fish and chips were 7.50 pounds and they charged me 12 Euros.

Sehr leckeres hausgemachtes Irish Pub Food. Leider ist das Personal schnell mal überfordert. Und wenn dann auch noch nicht Englisch sprechende Gäste in Euro bezahlen wollen, aber vorher gerne die Rechnung erläutert hätten, wird es ganz schwierig. Dann ist die Wirtin nur noch genervt und überfordert. Und verliert dann jede Gastfreundlichkeit.

Nice location with outside seats, however, a very grumpy and abrupt woman told me I could not use the bathroom as we ordered something for my partner but I did not want anything. How utterly ridiculous!

Unethical ownership (see other reviews as well). Ventured in on New Year's Day, ordered off the menu, good was good. The owner fraudulently told us we owed more than what was ordered. When we referenced the prices on the menu which added up to much less than what she was trying to charge us, she said it cost more because it was a holiday. She admitted that she never told us this ahead of timed said she would put it on the menu "next time". Her licence should be revoked!

Leider sind wir ohne uns vorher etwas umzusehen in dieses Lokal gestolpert... Wärend meine Freundin unsere Biere bestellen sollte, ging ich auf die Toilette und wäre am liebsten wieder rückwärts raus gelaufen! So schmutzig und übel riechend das man davon ausgehen kann, dass hier lange nicht mehr sauber gemacht wurde. Ich eilte zurück zum Tresen um meine Freundin von der Bestellung noch abzuhalten, doch es war zu spät, die Getränke standen schon. Auch die Gläser waren alles andere als sauber, doch wir tranken schnell aus um in ein vernünftiges Lokal weiter zuziehen. Beim bezahlen wurde uns dann noch "versehentlich" 2 Euro zuwenig zurück gegeben, was allerdings nach meinem Hinweis darauf prompt auf den Tresen geklatscht wurde. Freundlichkeit gleich null. Zum Glück gibt es nicht weit entfernt noch viele andere ordentliche Kneipen, in denen wir anschließend noch viel Spaß hatten.

Heel erg duur 2 pints en 2 thee 18 Euro of 14 pond. Nergens hangt een prijslijst dus natte vingerwerk.Ga er niet heen!

No muy simpática

Had lunch here and was disappointed with the experience. Only one vegetarian dish. Cleanliness was lacking. The wait for food was quite long, supposedly because everything was prepared fresh—but if that were the case, I’m not sure why my French fries arrived completely soggy. Worst fries I’ve ever eaten. All the food was very mediocre, and it wasn’t cheap. To top it off, when I tried to pay in euros, they applied an exchange rate of 1.4, even though everywhere else in Gibraltar was using 1.2. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are definitely better options nearby.
