This was probably one of the best tasting burgers I’ve had in a long time. The flavors of everything we so good! 10/10 easy. Think of like an in n out burger with better spread sauce and it comes with McDonald’s fries or you can get them animal style. They also have Brussel sprouts which are insanely good as well.
Came here on a Sunday night and was quite pleased with the food and the customer service. The guy working, I think his name started with a D or it was D? He was very helpful with the menu and recommended the brussel sprouts so I obviously had to get them 🤭 the burger tasted great, the fries were seasoned perfectly, and the brussel sprouts were crispy, 10/10 would recommend coming!
BEST HOUSE SAUCE EVER!!! Hands down, beats out every other house sauce. First time in, very nice and friendly staff. Attentive and fast service. Would add a picture but I ate it faster than my camera could take a photo.
I went in for some lunch with my partner and we have two cheeseburgers smash burgers, we really enjoyed the vibe and the food was great! Definitely need to come back for some fries!
All good with food but when we order directly online I don’t see a way to apply our points. That process should be easier.
Excellent smash burgers and fries. And very reasonable prices. Highly recommended
Ordered on website, food was ready when I arrived a very nice gentleman at the counter gave me the food. Best of all the food tasted great!
Can’t beat this place. Always on point with the flavors and def helps when you have staff like Pedro who makes sure you get the best out of your meal.
I tried the double patty on one visit and the single patty on another. The double patty felt a bit heavy for my taste, but the single patty was just right and very enjoyable. The flavors were good and with a little extra something it could be even better, but overall it was still delicious. I also ordered the fried chicken and it turned out to be tasty and well cooked.
This location is very small and has limited seating outside. Location clean and the worker are friendly. Service was outstanding. The double patty was perfectly portioned and highly satisfying. The flavor profile was commendable, it was undeniably delicious. Mainly because the Awesome cook cooked my burger to perfection.
EDIT: I’ve got to crank them up from 4 to 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ second visit and pic, absolutely crushed it at FTW The burger game here in Los Angeles just keeps getting better and better. I’m here at “For The Win” burgers in Glendale and I just had one of the best burgers of my life! Easily in my top 10 of all time anywhere and tied for 1st with Irv’s in Burbank. Very simple LA style, smash patty, griddled onions, pickles, and fry sauce on a toasted Martin’s potato roll. WOW! 🍔 😋 Parking can be extremely difficult so be patient. Also, order ahead online. I waited about 30 minutes for my burger. No public restrooms, very little seating maybe 5 stools and counter top bar style seating.
10/10 across the board: The staff is personable & make this spot a welcoming atmosphere. We stumbled upon this spot by accident & now it’s high on our list of go to places. The smash burgers are delicious & the fries have a great crisp outside.
Grade A (90): Great Cheeseburgers, tried double patty one day then single patty another day. Double was a bit too much, single was better; However, it needed a bit more but it's delicious. Fried Chicken was good also. Not much area to sit and eat, basically it's a grab and move.
Very good burger, very nice staff . Limited seating but all good
Nice hidden spot in a little shopping center. Went there to try it out and it was worth the little drive. Will for sure be going again! You order from a big screen and get your own drink. Then the food comes and boom! Nice little spot. Sits just a few but the burgers are good and the sweet potato fries! AMAZING!
1st time to Cali and 1st time eating here at For the Win . This was the best burger that I have ever eaten.
Came here for the first time and I really hate how much I like this burger.. Ordered the double cheeseburger with loaded fries. Personally, this is the most unique burger I’ve had. This was also the first burger I’ve had that I didn’t use ketchup.. I love ketchup and no matter how good a burger is, I’ll douse it in it.. However, this was different.. And the fries were absolutely amazing.. Everything 10/10 *chefs kiss*
This place is great! The fries are fantastic. The burgers are very good. Bummer that the up charge for lettuce & tomato is $1, but it’s just a great burger without them. The Brussels sprouts are amazing. The panna cotta is sensational! I’m pretty psyched to have found this gem.

For the Win continues to be my favorite smash burger in all of Los Angeles. I’ve never walked away disappointed — the burgers are consistently perfect, with that ideal crispy-edged smash and great flavor every single time. Pairing it with the sweet potato fries is my go-to move, and it elevates the entire meal. The portions always hit the spot without feeling heavy, and the quality is remarkably consistent across visits. It’s one of those places I confidently recommend to anyone looking for a standout burger experience in LA.
We ordered the Cheeseburgers with the grilled sweet onions and pickles topped with their sauce, loaded fries and Brussel sprouts. Everything was tasty. The smashed cheeseburgers were perfectly cooked. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and went perfectly with the hamburgers. The loaded fries were delicious, but could've used more sauce. The sauce didn't quite spread throughout the fries. Place is small so this will not accommodate a large group. Eat in the car or take it to go are the other 2 options. Overall, this place lives up to its name, hamburgers "for the win!"
Late night 9:30pm. Had a triple burger with fries/ no sauce sub bbq sauce. It’s hard to believe that food this great really exists. Definitely, top 3 burgers I’ve ever had in my 51 years on earth! The stove was full with burgers when I walked in and the two people were beyond busy. They both were super nice and went above and beyond, super accommodating!. Definitely, worth my 21 mile each way late night food grab! A+ and thank you!
Great delicious smash burger all the way around. I get the plentiful triple with bacon & jalapeños. Cooked to perfection & great fries also to complement the burger. I get to go. Small indoor eating space & some outdoor dining area too. Friendly staff, food done promptly. Great foodie spot all the way around

In short, It was a good burger, McDonalds fries, and limited seating. With a few more details, It’s located in an unassuming strip mall with plenty of parking. Seating is limited to a high top bar inside and 3 tables outside so if you want to chill better make it at noon sharp when they opened. Service was good. Didn’t appear that they have many people working there. Drinks were a bit pricey for what it was. $4 for a glass bottle soda. I got the double cheeseburger with bacon. Loved that they used martin’s potato buns but the bun was cold for some reason. Bacon was crunchy which played well into the burger. Meat was dense but also somewhat crispy on the external extremities. Flavor was good but it was a bit dense. Maybe it’s supposed to be like that? Fry sauce was good and had a tint bit of bite which made me think they made it in-house. Fries were McDonalds fries which I don’t care for but I know some people do like them starchy like that…overall it was a good experience but I tried it and on to the next one bec it was almost $25/person for a small burger and fries and a water. I’d still take innout over it any day.
Ordered double cheeseburger and fries using their person-free ordering. Order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Burger was really good. Messy, cheesy, salty, good bun, average pickles, awesome sauce. Two seasoned beef patties (smashed), cheese, pickles, grilled onions, good potato bun. Simply delicious. Fries were shaped like MCDs, but were a bit disappointing in that they didn't seem all that fresh, which was weird, since they were supposedly cooked to order. Parking in this small strip mall is fairly easy, and when I was there around 3pm on a weekday, was plentiful. Burger 9/10. Fries 6/10.
Warning there are zero bathrooms in this restaurant or any in this entire complex and everybody is super rude about it. You know they all have bathrooms but they won’t let you use it so you have to drive like five minutes away to go to the bathroom. What restaurant doesn’t have a bathroom for people to wash their hands or use the restroom? So crazy!
Very good really enjoyed the burger very well seasoned double patty with cheese grilled onions The service was good friendly and nice It was a fair price included fries in a drink If I'm in the area I would definitely go back again.
Interesting pictures on the wall. All boxing-related. Just two guys on shift. The food. The burger is pretty good. Full of savory flavor, and that fry sauce is a nice touch! I also wanted to get their Crispy Chicken Sandwich too, but for whatever reason, that's not an option ordering online via Doordash. Why?! Their brussel sprouts weren't bad, but they were sitting in that sauce a bit too long. Top was ok, but the bottom pieces were too heavy. Otherwise, a blind of sweetness, sour, & salty flavors were interesting. Granted, I was driving for forty minutes before I was able to sit down and take a bite. Maybe when you're eating on the spot, it'll be more every seasoned. Also, if you're getting to go, and going to warm them back up in the microwave, don't do that with the brussel sprouts. There's a layer of foil at the bottom.
Nestled in a business plaza on the boulevard of cars, this location is a much more relaxed one to get to. First time trying so we got a standard smash burger and one altered one without the fry sauce and added lettuce tomato and pickles. For a barebones standard smash cheeseburger at $10 seems a bit pricey given it’s just bread meat cheese fry sauce and a pickle. They do go a bit hard on the sauce not to mention how runny it is. And while it’s all tasty, it’s also just very salty. If you have issues with high blood pressure, get checked after lunch! The fries are good but also very salty. When we removed the sauce and added extra ingredients, it balanced out the burger a bit better. Service is alright. They have a kiosk now so you basically just dealing with the cooks. They had a few other options but we really only came to try the staples. Limited seating inside which as you can see most people tend to take up more than one space for some reason. But you can sit outside easily as well. Drinks are pricey though. $4.50 for a Topo Chico is highway robbery. Save your cash for the burgers and just buy one at a convenience store or market anywhere else.
My friends and I stopped by here today to grab lunch. He saw and heard about this place through word of mouth so he recommended that we try it. The place is in a small plaza with limited parking so be aware. They also don't have a lot of table outside if you're planning to eat there, it was just 3 tables outside or you can eat inside. We tried to sit outside but it was too hot so we went to eat our food inside. I got the chicken sandwich with no pickles, fries and a bottle coke. My food was pretty pricely but I understand that this is a small store and there not that many. My other friends got the double smash burger. I thought my chicken sandwich was okay but it was missing lettuce and tomatoes which they said I could add but I was sure it would've been an extra charge. I enjoyed the fries though, it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. They bring the food to you if you dine outside or inside. My friend thought their burger was okay as well. If you want to try a smash burger place I would still say try them but if you're on a budget then maybe this place isn't for you.

Snappy smash burgers with a kick in the sauce. Pretty delicious, but at $9-12+ a burger (extra for tomato, lettuce, etc), not including fries or drink, I’d go with In n’ Out every time. Also because there’s a slight kick in the sauce, kids may not like it (learns this the hard way). Fries are similar to in’n’out—which I’m not a big fan of. Small CA style interior, basically space for 6 people to stand or sit at a bar against the wall, which I find charming. The burger joint version of an Italian espresso bar.
Smash burger was good, as expected. However, I believe I requested fries well done, and they were not. No harm though, as I heated them up at home. Next time I'd get the double, as the single patty was quite thin. Will come again.

3.5 but rounding down to 3 because I wouldn’t go again now that I tried it. I don’t get the hype. The fries were exactly McDonald’s fries, so I thought they were amazing. The burger however was not to my taste. It was so greasy and heavy. The bun was cold, I wish they toasted it or something. Too much dressing in the burger, its their take on the in n out secret sauce but its not working They don't have bathrooms which is very inconvenient. My friend had to walk across the street to the lexus dealership to use the restrooms. They seem understaffed. Same guy taking orders, clearing tables and disappearing to the kitchen. I wish them luck but I wont go back.
It's decent burger, fries were good. I think it's overrated and overpriced for what it is... good to try once, but not coming back again.
I'm not sure what the fuss is about. The double cheeseburger was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I asked for jalapeños and they REALLY loaded them on there! Honestly, there were more jalapeños than meat, and I ended up throwing half of them away. It was still the primary flavor profile. Also, I got the brussels sprouts, and they were good, but again, nothing special. Overly dressed and too limp. Service was quick and friendly. The place is a complete hole in the wall and zero-frills. We went on a cold, rainy night, so only about 8 seats in a tiny space inside. I'd eat a burger there again, but I'd never make a special trip.
This place is tiny. No washrooms, definitely not FAMILY friendly. Automated set up for ordering and no one there to answer questions or HOST. First timers here. We finally got someone’s attention from behind the kitchen and we were told to go “Across the Street” to the gas station to use the washroom there. OK fine. But there is no gas station across the street. It’s about half a mile down the road! Not cool. Unfriendly service, terrible set up, and unwelcoming environment. I’m giving it 3 stars for the decent burger and quality ingredients. Burgers are pricey but quality and taste make it worth it, if you’re not on a budget. Please, MAKE “For The Win” GREAT AGAIN.

I came here to try this smash burger for the first time based on IG video. Overall, it was a solid burger with crispy edges and good flavor, but it was way too greasy. I ordered the classic double patty with sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts, and everything tasted overly oily. The ambiance is also a bit small and not very inviting for dining in, but i think most people probably opt for takeout anyway.
Service was so so slow. Pricey for what you get. Brussels were crispy and fried but nothing special. Not a lot of lemon or balsamic flavor. Loaded fries were OK but don't beat in-n-out’s animal style fries. They're pretty messy and nothing memorable about the fries themself both plain or loaded. Joined by two coworkers we all agreed that it's a long wait for an average burger. No soda fountain, there is a refrigerator by the register, sodas are sold in cans and there are a few bottled options including Topo Chico, and Mexican Coke. Definitely overhyped and understaffed.
Dont see the big deal about the city's best smash burger, i was not impressed at all by the burger itself, they are not shy about adding bacon. The sweet potato fries and chocolate shake was better than the burger - way over priced for quality of meal. Staff is great though $32.00 Double cheeseburger w/ bacon, fries and shake.
Worst location. Food is consistently worse than the other FTWs around town & the snotty teenagers working there don’t know anything about service. Shake shake is down the street people!
I saw my chicken being precooked and I'm sure it wasn't heated all the way through still cold. No way it reached 165 degrees also ordered spicy tuna roll did not look anything like the picture this is a fried tuna roll. I don't recommend. Owners cooked my food. Salad put together poorly. This was not worth $16.00
