This was our first time going there and it was a great experience!! The food was excellent!! The service was fast and not so friendly but we enjoyed our time anyway. The hush puppies are fantastic as are the Burger I had and the catfish my wife and daughter had. I highly recommend!!!

The burger is outstanding. Cooked perfectly and delivered quickly. The value is exceptional. Other places charge double and deliver less. Well worth the trip to visit the Cafe for lunch.

Oh my gosh !! Best chicken strips and beef strips ever!! Over three fingers wide and at least four inches long, we got ours served with mashed potatoes and gravy!! 😋 Yummy.. my brother ordered chili. All fantastic. Huge cups of tea. I recommend the blackberry or the peach tea too. Their salads are fabulous and so is the chicken fried chicken or the chicken fried steak. Best around....we love this little restaurant.

After hearing good things about this place for years, we finally stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed. My chicken fried steak was great, my wife's salad was huge and delicious, and the kids corny dog was pretty good too! Our service was fast and friendly. I'm sure we will return.

We love this place....only thing missing is a patio so i could bring my Pekingese, Penelope, to dine with us. The biscuits & sausage gravy for breakfast is the very best....cheeseburger, chicken tenders & chicken fried steak for lunch or dinner is fabulous too 😋 We recently tried their homemade oatmeal rasin cookies & oh so yummy, especially with an ice cold glass of milk 😋 If you drive by The Cafe in Graford & don't stop, you did yourself a sad injustice & that's on you....keep up the wonderful work 💕

Everything I've eaten here has been great. Burgers are top notch. Fried catfish is wonderful. Onion rings are simply fantastic. Service is usually good. You won't walk away from here hungry and the price is right too.

It's like Cheers, "everybody knows your name", well at least the waitress does if you're a regular. The food and service is good so you'll want to be a regular. 😊

We stopped in for dinner while visiting the area! It was a great place to get a nice home cooked meal! The fried zucchini was excellent! I had fried shrimp and salad and green beans… all very good! Husband had chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, also very good! Service was excellent! Stopped back again the next morning for breakfast and enjoyed a nice omelette! My only complaint would be that the stop serving breakfast at 10:30 and on a Sunday several families came in just past that time and were not able to order from the breakfast menu. So get there before 10:30 to enjoy a country breakfast!

Busy but quick service and great food. My husband I both got chicken fried steak. My sides were grilled squash and okra potato. My husband got wedges and potato salad. We got our kid a corny dog with Mac and cheese. The CFS was HUGE. We both had enough food to eat it for lunch the next day.

Ok. So I was nervous because it was out In the middle of nowhere. Butttt. It was delicious. Great prices. Great atmosphere. Clean. Large portions. Me and my husband got a chicken fried steak dinner with fried okra and grilled squash, and a catfish basket with fries. The french fries were really good and obviously made drom real potatoes. And the catfish was delicious and had a great breading. Plus came with 4 huge strips. For 8 dollars. The chicken fried steak was delicious and large and crispy on the outside but not over cooked on the inside. The okra was standard but still good. The ranch was awesome. But my absolute favorite part of everything was the grilled squash! It was soooooo good. We plan on just getting all the sides as that next time. So worth it.

What a fantastic restaurant! A hidden gem in a small town, this diner is a total blast from the past. Homemade pies and great lunchtime specials make this a restaurant worth the drive. Extremely clean and super friendly staff make you feel at home immediately. The food was most excellent 👌 😋 I'm definitely going back.

A small town with a large, busy restaurant. The waitresses and management are very nice and ready to serve you. The food is fantastic and there is lots of it. Tuesday is $5.00 burger night. With or w/o cheese, jalapeño cheddar, and pady melt. And they are not McDonald's size burgers. And really good. An order of fries is huge. A half chef's salad is about the same size as most regular size. All drinks are large. You definitely won't leave there hungry. Also, prices all other days are exceptionally low for what you get.

OMG get the onion rings!!! We have dinner and breakfast while in tiwn. All of the food was amazing. The pancakes are huge!! The gracy on the chicken fried steak was delicious! I wish I lived closer. They also know people by name, which is the small town feel I have always loved. Show up early though because everyone else loves their food too.

Absolutely worth the drive, we were staying at Possum Kingdom State Park and it was at least an hour drive. Best home cooked meals, wonderful great staff and you can't beat the prices. Don't pass this place up if you are in the area....seriously!

There’s a reason The Cafe has been in business for decades and is still always packed seemingly every day of the week. The owners and staff are amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic, prices are always more than fair, and of course their food is always delicious and made to order. I will always highly recommend this awesome place, if you haven’t been and are considering stopping by, do it, you won’t regret it!

I am not from here, I drive through here all the time to my hunting lease. I made it by here today finally to try it out and I can tell you this place is legit.” Best burgers in the middle of nowhere” they have a lot of their offerings chicken fried steak other meals sandwiches it was so yummy. I want to check out so they had bluebell ice cream and made me a chocolate chip mint shake that was to die for nice and thick so yummy. Can’t wait to come back.

Been meaning to check The Cafe out for a while and WOW I am glad I finally did and we'll definitely be going back often! The Chicken Fried Steak was Amazing!!! The breading was well seasoned and had a nice light crunch to it, mashed potatoes were perfect and slightly buttery, the beans had a really good slow cooked taste to them and finally the Texas Toast was perfectly buttered and toasted! They also have an amazing looking selection of pies at the front counter.

It was my second trip there and both times were very good. I will have to explore the menu more because I seen lots of great plates coming out to the other tables. They had a plate with southwest chicken salad on it that almost made me put my good cheeseburger down. But I think my next trip I will try the chicken fried steak.

Best restaurant between DFW and Graham. Their omelettes always hit the spot. Their mains are great, especially if you order the tater tots, they’re made extra crispy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is consistent. If you want spice just hit your food with the Ol’ Gringo, it’s the best hot sauce, especially the pepper sauce.

Desperately wanted a good old fashioned Thanksgiving dinner as husband is "meat & potato", you know the type, lol. They told me they sell "individual t-day plates". Keep that word "plate" in mind. I paid $20 for the best dinner I've had since my Grandad died in 84. Pics prove what enormous portions of everything. I was in Heaven! Fresh, made from scratch and most importantly LOVE. Staff was so friendly and I the blessed recipient of the last "plate". Be blessed in your travels, everyone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Holy cow—actually, holy steer—Amy and I went to Graford Cafe tonight, and the chicken fried steak was the size of a Texas road sign. We had to share one plate because there’s no way one human could wrangle that beast solo. People love to claim they’ve got the “best” chicken fried steak. I’ll say it plain: they’re wrong. Graford Cafe very likely has the best. The steak was pounded so tender you could cut it with a fork. The crust was golden, crispy, and full of flavor. The gravy? Creamy and smooth—no lumps in sight. The fries were spot-on—perfectly seasoned with just the right crunch. And the buttered Texas toast did heroic work mopping up the last of that gravy. If you’re hungry—or even if you just think you are—head to Graford Cafe. This chicken fried steak is bigger than your grandma’s church hat on Easter Sunday.

Amazing home cooked meals that will make your mouth water and enough food it’s tough to walk when you leave. Stop here and eat. Heck, make a road trip. You will not regret it. Staff is the best. Small simple Cafe atmosphere with great catfish. I got the special, which was the catfish basket. The fish was delicious! The coleslaw was great! Fries were good, but I would go for the potato wedges next time because they taste MUCH better and crisper. The veggies, oh my goodness!! You must get the zucchini and squash. One bite, and I was hooked. My best friends took me, so it was a first for me being there and definitely will have to go back. It was so good that my leftovers I took home, I had for breakfast the next morning. Yes, fried catfish for breakfast. It's that good.

My friends and I were in town and a local told us about this place. Not much going on in this small Texas town, but this place makes up for it. Huge portions and absolutely great prices! I ordered chicken fingers. These aren't your typical fingers. Not frozen out of a bag. These are the real deal! The portions are incredible! I had to ask for a to-go box. My two buddies got chicken fried steak and the other got fried catfish. They both said it was delicious and had to get to-go boxes as well. They had which looked like carrot cake on the counter. It looked delicious and almost got one to take home. Maybe next time. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. That's always a huge plus. You can bet the kitchen is clean when you see that. The waitresses were super friendly too. Overall place has a great atmosphere. The only thing I was disappointed with were the mashed potatoes. You can absolutely tell they are instant potatoes. Very distinctive flavor and not worth getting. Luckily there are plenty of choices for sides so when I go back, I'll get something else and I'm sure it will be fine.

One of my favorite places to eat. Friendly staff and great food. Some of the best fish around. They have grilled and fried fish, both are top notch. Good portion sizes. Everything on the menu is good. They also have ice cream and shakes if you're not too stuffed from eating.

The food was really good. It was kinda busy so we waited awhile for our drinks and dinner order.

Stopped while passing through and got a couple of sandwiches to go. I had the Ruben and my wife got a club sandwich. Both were really good and I got an order of onion rings and man they are HUGE! (And tasty)

This place is super cute and updated with nice decor! I really like how they give you large to go cups right away with your order! Service and food outstanding! Homemade potatoes.. chicken fried chicken ...chicken fried steak...fish..HOMEMADE....You can taste it! Sooooo good! Lemon pie for dessert! Everything was great!! UPDATE::: First time for breakfast! I would recommend the pancakes! Pancakes are HUGE, you can tell they are homemade. Scrambled eggs are fixed like an omlet. When you ask for cheese on top they just slap on american kraft square cheese. Not exactly what i would think to go on eggs. I would prefer shredded cheese. Biscuits and gravy are ok.

Food was excellent, didn't get 5 stars cause of sevice. Our waitress was not very attentive at all, we only talked twice, once to order and once our food came. Should definitely be touching tables a little more. I know how the hospitality industry is, but tips do come from the amount of hospitality shown by servers. Would still come back and recommend to others.

The food is good. The price is low. The service not so good. Waitresses are not very attentive to your table. I have actually set 15 or 20 minutes before they even come to my table. After you get your food they never check to see if you need anything else.

And I understand when a place is busy but we were sat next to the server station and there were several standing around having a VERY INAPPROPRIATE conversation about sexual things within earshot. The restaurant was not busy. Also, had servers walk by me while standing at the front trying to get a box because our server hadn't come back to our table and we'd been done for several minutes. We were only passing thru, going to the lake, so it's unlikely we'd be there again

The food is good, the servers were friendly and helpful and the restaurant, including bathroom, was clean. I really wanted to say the food was great, but it wasn’t. The CFS wasn’t anything special, but it was good. The onion rings were kinda bland. Maybe the folks that live out here just don’t like a lot of spices in their food and that’s understandable because it seemed like an older clientele eats here.

Normally do not leave a bad review, but this was not a pleasant meal. Ordered hamburger with fries. Burger patty was burnt around the edges, and flavorless due to being way overcooked, bun was flat and barely any vegetables. The fries were grease soaked and the consistency of a boiled noodle. Major disappointment in this place because I had heard it was good.

Discrimination. Only get good service if you’re known. Waited 45 mins for food for it to come out raw. Waitress would refill the table right next to us with the same drinks and walk off. Couldn’t even get waitress to come back so we just go to check out and Explained concerns at check out about raw bacon and was told “sorry” as she continued to just ring up our items faster - I offered for her to see our plates that hadn’t been touched and still she continued on - Paid $60 for breakfast none of us even ate. I get being busy but when you remember “Mr Brown” and his cup never goes empty but you won’t even look my way so I can get your attention. Customer service doesn’t exist anymore. Very sad. Disappointed. Grew up going to that cafe and took my kids there for a special memory and now I will never go back.

Ordered four meals tonight, three burgers all were not great, buns were soggy, fries over cooked with no seasoning, brother in law had a half order shrimp quesadilla with literally one shrimp per slice of quesadilla, he has fried green tomatoes that were not cooked all the way through, ordered fried zucchini same issue instead of being crispy they were limp. My sister's burger was missing the fries, and we had to purchase all fries separately. Had an order of mushroom and they were ok, but some were under cooked. This is the third time we have went there and each time there have been issues. First time person literally forgot that we were there and sat for over 20 minutes just to get order taken then another almost 30 minutes to get the food. And trying to get a refill on a drink was impossible. The waitress admitted she forgot about us. Second trip same waitress didn't get order right either. Missing items food was not good. And refill was like pulling teeth. Not sure why everyone says this place is good, the quality we have had has never been worth the cost we spent.
