Es un sistema de acomodo como comedor comunal en el cual no tienes mesa privada. 🟡 Muy urn servicio pero es molesto que te obliguen a pedir botella de agua embotellada a $195 peses 🟢 Tortillas recién hechas. 🟡 Comida buena pero me esperaba algo mejor. Son platillos muy iniciadores con nuevos sabores pero las porciones no son muy abundantes y al fin de cuentas después de tanto reconocimiento esperaba algo mejor. 🟡 si estás eligiendo entre Fauna o Bruma, sin pensarlo recomendaría Bruma. 🟢 Es de los pocos restaurantes que abren para cenar en Valle.

Es un lugar con magia. En todo momento nos atendieron con una excelente actitud y disposición. La mesera fue amable, clara y nos dio tips. El hecho de no contar con una mesa exclusiva, te invita a convivir un poco con los demás comensales. En general, fue una muy grata estadía. La comida espectacular.

Dudaba en ir a Fauna y fue la mejor decisión haber ido. Podría decir de las mejores comidas de mi vida . Si van a valle no pueden no ir a Fauna. Servicio de 10. Todo lo que pedimos delicioso, el brocoli , la calabaza , el lechón, los sopes, la quinoa, lo que si podría omitir son las tostadas de atun con pata , fue lo único que no me gustó.

Uno de los lugares que más nos recomendaron desde que planeamos el viaje al Valle, y superó todas las expectativas!! El menú de inicio pareciera muy rebuscado, pero no dejo de sorprendernos cada bocado … UN ESPECTÁCULO !! Callo en salsa negra Lechón con verdolagas y nopales Pulpo asado con tomate (UNA ODISEA AL SABOR) Zanahoria con tuétano (WOW) Ostiones No solo la comida destaca …. El lugar es por si solo hermoso, sumemos el servicio top que brindan desde la reserva, y la atención de su Gerente Daniel, quien supo perfectamente cómo hacernos pasar un GRAN DÍA ! Recomendación extra, reserven con tiempo por teléfono por qué se llena !!! Y no pidan el menú degustación, OJO, no por que sea malo, pero creo que vale mucho más la pena pedir a tu gusto y la experiencia mejora gracias a las recomendaciones de su staff. (Nosotros NO lo pedimos) Sin duda un MUST !!

ESPECTACULAR. Así en mayúsculas. La propuesta integral de este restaurante merece todos los reconocimientos. Absolutamente todos los platillos que comimos estaban increíbles. El callo con salsa negra es de otro nivel. Los vinos.. una maravilla. Ese Lulú. El servicio es excepcional. El concepto de las mesas largas y compartidas es muy bueno. Mi esposo y yo pedimos el festín para probar un poco de todo y la verdad las porciones no están nada pequeñas, quedas más que satisfecho. Son 5 tiempos (3 salados, 2 dulces) los salados son unos 4 platos por tiempo. Me alegra porque para la próxima pediré mis favoritos que fueron el pulpo y el repollo que sin haberlos probado creo que nunca habría pedido eso. Esta 10 de 10 todo! Otro nivel.

La experiencia de degustación estuvo muy rica, pero mi novio y yo concluimos que el fuerte fueron los platillos de mariscos, estuvieron DELICIOSOS, de lo mejor que hemos porbado. Podríamos pasar los platillos de carne. Postres ricos. El lugar muy a gusto, solo al llenarse sí hay mucho ruido. Si te tocan "vecinos" en la mesa buena onda, te invita a una experiencia padrísima por la plática. El servicio en un principio lento, pero va agarrando el ritmo. Sin dudar volvería para probar otros platillos.

Fauna absolutely lived up to its reputation as the #1 restaurant in Mexico. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The food was extraordinary. The broccoli was a revelation,who knew a vegetable could be this exciting? The ceviche was bold and creative, The star of our meal for us was the fried whole fish with its exceptional sauce. The sauces they use are unlike anything we’ve tasted. Every bite told a story. What made the evening even more memorable was the service. Itzel and Nelly Bibiano were very attentive and knowledgeable, the whole team took such wonderful care of us throughout the evening. Made us feel truly special. The perfect romantic atmosphere for our anniversary trip. If you’re visiting Valle de Guadalupe, Fauna is an absolute must.

Fauna is the most extraordinary dining experience i have ever enjoyed. The food is original and exciting, the staff is incredibly helpful and informative, and the dining space is beautifully designed. I went out early to enjoy the setting and beautifully designed gardens. I met the gracious manager Daniel who showed me around and shared some of the history. When i arrived for dinner, i was greeted by name. The servers, too, called me by name, and were attentive and concerned with my needs. I went for the Fauna Feast which is a dozen “samplings” including: octopus, chocolate clams, abalone, scollops, pork, lamb, tuna, rock fish, sea bass, squash, and sweetbreads, etc! Every one of these items was superb. My neighbors at the table and i looked at each other, shook our heads, and just could not believe how great everything was. Thanks to Daniel and the staff for providing an experience like no other. December 2025 I had to return to Fauna and share it with my wife. We had a truly extraordinary return to Fauna! It still remains the top dining experience in our lives. Daniel is the perfect host; guiding you through each one of the wonderful dishes. The staff and chef are so helpful and informative. The grounds and the dining area are stunning so come early to admire the atmosphere. The Fauna Feast takes you through a wonderfully diverse and sumptuous meal. I cannot praise this establishment enough. Do not miss an opportunity to experience Fauna - you will be amazed.

Our meal and dining experience was excellent! The chef’s choice tasting menu was a wonderful experience - I would eat every dish again and again. Make sure you come with an empty stomach because the tasting menu is extensive and generous. The service was spectacular, staff were so sweet and I could sense the pride and joy in their work. The ambience is warm, cozy, and communal. I hope I get to dine at Fauna again!

Maybe one of my most favorite culinary experiences I have had in some time. Reserving ahead of time made checking in no problem but make sure you have one. You have the option of taking photos in the front of the restaurant’s fountain and then you are seated. If you’re looking for a private place to spend with your partner, this is not it but if you are looking to engage with people in a playful and curious way while enjoying excellent food, then this is it! We split a two appetizers (small and large) and a main dish. This was perfect for us. The ceviche was perhaps the most flavorful and robust ceviches I have tried. Had smoky elements with a tang and freshness, even the chip was light and crisp, good flavor. The sopes were the least the favorite, just missed the mark a bit. the lamb quesadillas were tasty and the tortillas were made fresh. The cheese had a salty, organic flavor to it that really made the combination of all of them together just shine! The wines we tried were a sparkling white and rose and each were great, but the sparkling white probably gets the nod. Just give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful location and restaurant, highly recommend visiting here for a special evening while in Valle. We did the tasting menu, which was really delicious and filling!! The restaurant was flexible in changing my dishes due to my shellfish restriction which was really appreciated. One thing that was a little disappointing was that the waiter asked me at the start of the experience if I ate sweetbread (glands), I told him I didn’t and they still bought this dish out so I was confused why he’d asked. The cocktails were also delicious. Apart from that the staff were attentive, although our main waiter wasn’t overly friendly. With this said, they did bring my boyfriend a candle to help us celebrate his birthday which was very kind. Overall, a great experience, I’d repeat it.

La comida estuvo súper rica, recomiendo mucho la tétela y el postre de churro. El servicio fue horrible, nos trajeron los cócteles y todos los platillos al mismo tiempo, el vino casi cuando terminamos de comer, no pudimos disfrutar bien cada platillo. El vino estaba muy rico

Nos encantaron el platillo de borrego, la tostada de pato y la codorniz de verdad buenísimo. Lo demás rico. Te sientas en mesas largas que compartes con las de más reservaciones. A nosotros nos tocó a lado de grupos de personas muy amables. A veces son tardados en pasarte a sentar y no tan de buen humor. Pero la experiencia y la comida lo vale bastante.

El lugar te envuelve, desde que llegas y comienzas a conocerlo. La comida es deliciosa, todo parece tener la sinergia perfecta. Calidad-precio esta muy equilibrado. El menú Festín lo considero perfecto sí no sabes que pedir y deseas variedad, sobre todo sí tienes mucho estómago, llega un punto en que se vuelve gula. Sales muy satisfecho. Para contemplación y fotos, sugiero escoger un horario temprano, nosotros fuimos alrededor de las 6 y muy rápido llegó el atardecer, además que las condiciones climatologícas no eran las mejores. Reserva sin duda.

Fue el restaurante con mayor concurrencia que visitamos, la verdad es que se encontraba bastante lleno para ser temporada baja por lo que recomiendo hacer su reserva con tiempo. Interesante el menú que se ofrece aunque en lo personal debo decir que tanto la tostada de pato como la codorniz estuvieron ácidas, el platillo favorito sin duda fueron los callos y las Chocoyotas de conejo dejaron mucho que desear. Eso si debo admitir que en lo particular el precio se me hizo elevado comparado con propuestas similares. Vale la pena una visita si quieres pasar un buen rato y eres de las personas que busca concurrencia.

El lugar es lindo, la comida muy buena. Las botanas no nos sorprendieron, pedimos sopecitos y tétela. La lechuga con sardina nos encantó, eso si, muy ácida así que cuidado. Y el Rockot tmb buenazo. Lo mejor fue el postre! Semifreddo delicioso. El servicio es bueno, como esperarías, nada sobresaliente tampoco. Te sirven bastante rápido eso si. Fauna si es para turistas 🥹 pero la comida no decepciona 😄

FAUNA – Valle de Guadalupe Uno de los restaurantes mejor calificados de la región. Ubicado dentro de una inmensa propiedad, con un estilo muy particular: mesas compartidas, decoración que equilibra lo rústico con lo elegante y un ambiente singular que lo distingue del resto. La carta: amplia, con platillos de gran nivel. La cocina: ingredientes frescos, todo preparado al momento, con tiempos bien cuidados. Las porciones: generosas y pensadas para compartir. El servicio: atento, pulido y de primera. El bar y la cava: amplios, con una selección de vinos a la altura de su ubicación en el Valle. La presentación: esmerada, visualmente atractiva y coherente con el concepto. El balance precio-calidad tiene mucho sentido: sí es caro, pero vale cada peso. Calificación personal: 9.2 / 10 Sin duda, una experiencia que merece vivirse y repetirse.

El servicio es excelente, el lugar es agradable! Los postres son deliciosos! Mi único pero es con la comida salada, la mayoría de los platos estaban demasiado ácidos, el repollo que lleva hojuelas de sal, estaba saturado de ellas y se me hizo imposible poder comer más de un bocado, lo cual es triste porque en verdad estaba deliciosa, al igual que la tostada.

Es un lugar bastante acogedor, tienen un huerto donde se ve que cosechan algunos vegetales. La comida es muy buena con excepción de la tostada de pato que es un chilorio seco que ni a pato sabe. Hay menú de degustación y a la carta. Las mesas son compartidas son tablones para aproximadamente 20 personas por lo cual te toca sentarte con desconocidos y pues no puedes platicar agusto. Las porciones son de regulares a pequeñas. Por lo que cobran presentarte la comida en platos despostillados no creo que esté bien y no fue 1 plato, sino 4 platos. El servicio es amable pero si un poco lento

Very creative but maybe overhyped à la cart menu (even though they pushed the set menu on us) but IMO everything was not quite as balanced as it could’ve been. For example, the barnacle dish was pretty heavy with aïoli and vinegar which masked any flavor of the barnacle itself. I will say that the Carignon from Bruma was delicious and paired well with everything. And if it weren’t for that recommendation from the server, it’s not the choice I would’ve made. I wasn’t sure about the shared tables, but it was a highlight of the experience.

Brought a group here for my best friends bachelorette and it was everyone’s first time at Fauna. From the servers to the food the entire experience was amazing. Our server Alvaro was so attentive and always had a story behind every aspect of Fauna. Literally, we asked about the plates and he told us where they were from and what they were made of. The food was delicious! We did the Fauna Feast with the pairing and 100% worth it, especially if it’s your first time. There’s so many options on the menu that I would’ve never personally had if I didn’t do the feast. It was a chefs choice menu, but honestly I think we tried everything on the menu from the appetizers to the desserts. The wines were very well paired with the plates we were served. We were also never rushed. Fauna is concept of enjoying community and your food which they allowed us to do, always asked if we were ready to move onto the next course and if we were not they would give us more time without hesitation. The only ding they would get is the seating only because it’s something people may not be used to. They have communal tables which means you get seated directly next to other groups. HOWEVER, I think they do their best to place bigger groups on the outskirts of the tables. I noticed groups of two would often be seated next to each other. We didn’t have a problem with the seating because we honestly were enjoying our time, but I could see how some people may not like it. Definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting Valle De Guadalupe. Pictured is most of our courses with the exception of the limoncello dessert that they also had us try 🤩 we paid about $160 USD per person give or take depending on the exchange rate

Es un lugar con una vista espectacular, un árbol gigante en un espejo de agua y el comedor tiene un diseño simple y elegante. Eso, increíble. Pero la comida es muy regular y demasiado cara para lo que promete. La propuesta no es tan original y el sabor de los platillos no impresiona. De hecho algunos comensales al lado nuestro se quejaron de que las cosas estaban pasadas de limón, y sí. Los sopes de wagyu parecían de res normal; la tetela insípida; el salpicón de cerdo de sabor intenso vale la pena. El servicio bueno pero tampoco espectacular. El vino que probamos regular. Me dicen que hay que pedir el menú de degustación, pero yo no lo haría.

Fauna came highly recommended by close friends, which made our experience all the more disappointing. After an excellent visit to Damiana and Olivea on the same trip—and a pleasant Bruma wine tasting—we were genuinely excited for Fauna and expected it to be a standout. Unfortunately, it fell far short. We opted for the prix fixe chef’s tasting menu, and from the start the service felt disorganized and inattentive. Early in the evening, we were told the bottle of wine we requested was available, only to be told shortly after that it was not. This was confusing and frustrating, especially since that same bottle was available for purchase at our hotel, MIRA Earth Studios, suggesting a lack of proper inventory management. We were then offered a “similar” bottle as an alternative, with no discussion of price. It wasn’t until the bill arrived that we discovered the substitute bottle was nearly three times the price of the wine we originally requested. This felt careless at best and borderline scandalous at worst. Transparent communication—especially at this price point—should be non-negotiable. The dinner itself lacked rhythm and intention. Courses were brought out abruptly and without proper pacing, with multiple dishes arriving at once despite being clearly designed to be eaten separately. We had explicitly asked for the plates to be portioned and paced appropriately, though frankly this shouldn’t even need to be requested when dining at a restaurant offering a 10+ course tasting menu. Equally disappointing was the lack of explanation with each dish. No ingredients, no preparation details, no storytelling—nothing. A manager who seemed to be assigned to our table attempted to explain some courses, but even those explanations felt surface-level and suggested limited understanding of the dishes themselves. From a culinary standpoint, the food was underwhelming. The scallop dish was the only memorable or enjoyable course. Everything else lacked impact, creativity, or refinement, especially relative to the reputation Fauna carries. In the end, we spent over $500 for two people, largely inflated by the undisclosed wine markup, and walked away feeling this was one of the most overrated dining experiences we’ve had—both in terms of service and food—particularly given the excellent alternatives in Valle de Guadalupe. We would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. If we were to return, it would only be for à la carte dining, with extreme caution around upselling and a clear understanding of pricing before committing to anything. This experience did not live up to the hype, the reputation, or the price.
