With out a doubt, Pizza Time stands alone at the top of Florida cuisine. Never in your life will you taste such fantastic flavors, cooked to perfection, sprinkled with the love of the hard-working employees. Go to Pizza Time, you won't be disappointed.
This place is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. I'm from NY but lived in the Greater Orlando area for over 30 years. My father lives in Boca Raton and turned us on to the place when we visit. Today was his 85th birthday and we had a beautiful Sunday dinner. I've had the veal, calamari, garlic knots, eggplant rollatini, and several other dishes. Absolutely delicious. Great service. The pizza looks fantastic too. I've never tried it but if it tastes half as good as it looks, it'll be great. Salad is also very good w/ the house Italian dressing. Prices are also reasonable. They are also a collection point for donations for victims of the Parkland tragedy.
Been coming here for years. Always consistent always great service and always very tasty food. From the fresh garlic rolls to the salad to the broccoli rabe and garlic to my go to shrimp francese. Highly recommended
Loved the mushroom and olive pizza! The cheese was perfect and the crust tasted like the pizza parlor we used to go to in Riverdale NY. I've been looking for that taste for years! AND the staff is so nice
I had the small chicken balsamic and couldn't finish all the pasta. It was delicious and the service was very good, although our dishes took quite a while to arrive. But the restaurant was very busy that night.
Pizza Time Caffe delivers a delightful slice of Italy with its authentic and flavorful pizzas, offering a perfect blend of quality ingredients and a cozy atmosphere that makes it a go-to spot for pizza enthusiasts seeking an elevated dining experience.
You have to love this place! I'm also a little biased because I live across the street lol. But great food, and happy upbeat staff! And funny the 1st time eating here was during the start of the Coronavirus lock down, it just shows you how much they care and pride themself in customer service, because the food and service were still awesome!
Best kept secret in Parkland. Great pies with abundant cheese and the right amount of sauce. Garlic rolls are an addiction - try one and you'll be hooked. Delicious pasta Alfredo. Perfect for families!
The location is hidden which makes it nice for an enjoyable family meal or a romantic date night. We love their fried calamari and tapas. The chicken masala is also perfect. Never dry.
Best pizza ever! So many real toppings, like real Italian sausage, eggplant, real mushrooms. Calamari is tender and perfect! Best marinara I’ve ever had. Salad is amazing too! Wonderful house made dressing.
Love the pizza!! The service was great. The atmosphere is a happening place. Very family oriented.
We've gone through many pizza places in the years we've lived in Coconut Creek, and I think I've finally found my favorite. I've also eaten inside and their pasta was also delicious! Friendly service as well. Highly recommend :)
One of those pizzerias that are a big cut above the rest. My favorite place for Pizza in Broward, I drive out of my way to eat here. Not only is their pizza amazing, but so is every other dish. When you dine in, they are presented beautifully and with care. Their Italian sandwich also might be one of the best I’ve had. Always happy eating here.
My niece grew up in parkland and our family has been going there since she was a little girl. It was an honor to fly in from NY to share her special day ( Bridal Shower) . Everything was perfect. Thank you 🍾
Phenomenal food and outstanding, exceptional service.
Such a nice & cute place that's super clean, with great customer service & customer appreciation. They sent my family a certificate as a welcome to the neighborhood, which was so nice, and when I went to pick up the pizza they were even nicer, and the best part, the pizza was DELICIOUS, and I am used to NY Pizza! Can't wait to go back to eat there & take out food from there! I hear so many good things about this place!
Just happened to be in the plaza and didn’t know what to expect - wow, we were so pleased! The grandma pizza was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had, and we’re also New Yorkers so we know what’s good! Our family also really enjoyed the penne a la vodka, chicken marsala, and the salads. Classic but satisfying! We appreciated the garlic knots and excellent service!
Simple, delicious, and satisfying. I’ll be telling others about this place.
Love Pizza Time! The pizza is always great and fresh and they have a great happy hour. And I’m sorry but the garlic rolls are the best in town because there are huge chunks of garlic in the tin foil when you take it home! I also really like that they always get involved with local causes.
Calamari was cooked perfectly. Eggplant parm with sauteed garlic spinach instead of pasta was absolutely delicious. Salad was ample and fresh. And their bread is sooo good. Our table shared a piece of the chocolate cake for dessert which tasted divine and the portion was humongous. Will definitely return!
Ate in restaurant, and food was delicious and setting was safe! All employees wore masks and tables were sufficiently spaced. Started outside on the patio, which is very beautiful with nice music and view, but moved inside when food came because of flies. Food was affordable and delicious!
Decor is as awesome as the food. Noisy, but what Italians aren't? To me that's part of the experience. Pizza, veal, meatballs and pasta were all perfect. Great sauce. Garlic knots are a home run. A bit pricey but a really nice sit down restaurant in east Parkland.
Came to visit friends, was told this is the best pizza place in town... BINGO! Ordered The Grandma Pizza, ah-mazing (a little messy with all the crust seasonings but so worth it: that perfect blend of fresh mozzarella and red sauce) Lasagna was fresh and light, and the left over sauce went great with the garlic knots. Chicken Marsala was excellent! Chicken was so tender and the sauce was slightly sweet which is how I prefer it. Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. Calamari was just ok, that's the kind of thing you want to eat fresh out of the fryer, the breading was a little too thin... but some people like that. Ordered a little bit of everything and it was all great quality and delish! Can't wait to eat here again. If we hadn't inhaled all the food, I would have taken photos...
The best pizza in all of South Florida! The penne ala vodka is also amazing! Quick service for takeout too, even on a busy Friday night.
I have been eating here since they first opened in am Italian sauce pizza and all their dishes are delicious
I work in the same plaza as this restaurant so I frequently order from here. The staff is always incredibly friendly, the food is nothing short of delicious every time, and the wait time is incredibly short consistently. Instead of just 5, I would give them more stars if I could!
Absolutely love this place and we go weekly! The portions are large and meals come with a salad and rolls. I typically order the angel hair with traditional tomato sauce and meatballs. My leftovers are usually cold for breakfast, Yucky to some people but very exciting to me 😂 Wednesday is typically half off of bottled wine and Daniel our favorite waiter always has a great suggestion for us. I’ve also never missed ordering the chocolate cake and it is always consistently fabulous. Highly recommend giving it a try.
First time ordering from here and the place is super cute the pizza was perfection really good cooked perfect tasted amazing …. the big guy in the kitchen seemed angry and or just having a bad day but it showed to the customers waiting for their food !!! None the less i would eat here again !!
Food was amazing! We order pizza, pasta Alfredo, with mushrooms, bolognese, with sea food and we were really happy with the portions, the flavor, the quality. The young waitress team was ok. They were really busy. I understand. The host was ok and the owner very nice with our party of 7 on a busy Sunday
I usually don’t eat pizza bc I try to stay away from dairy but this pizza is by far some of the best pizza I’ve had . 10/10 ! The sauce is definitely homemade, and the cheese doesn’t taste artificial , they use good stuff here. I will take my lactaid pills to indulge in this!
This place never disappoints a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable.
I have been going to Pizza Time for more than 30 years now. The original owner who is the guy that introduced all the specialty pizza was fantastic. The food was always fantastic while he was the owner. For a few years after he sold it, they slowly stopped doing specialty pizzas lunchtime And the quality of the food seem to not be the same, it seem to be like somebody was making it who really didn’t care. The last two years they still don’t have the specialty slices at lunch but the food is gotten a lot better again. They give a big portions. The price is a reasonable . And I think it’s an excellent local pizza place with very good Italian food. Very much New York style. I was reading a review about somebody who complained about the chicken wings. Why would you go to an Italian restaurant in order of chicken wings. It’s like going to a Chinese restaurant and ordering Italian food , when you’re going to one Italian restaurant order Italian food. Right now the food at Pizza Time has been very good and consistent again. But I sure do miss the specialty slices that they had at lunch every day not too long ago. They just don’t make them anymore.
Best place in Parkland! Everything is great! You can’t go wrong on anything here. Heather is amazing! She really makes you feel like family!
My all time favorite place. The chicken francese is perfect. I've tried to find other places that make it this way, but none can compare. Also they have real, delicious bread rolls!
Always a great meal and friendly service here. Nice little hideaway spot in Parkland, but worth finding. Pizzas are great, but so is the lasagna, chicken marsala and other items. I encourage you to check it out! Great happy hour too. The owner, Mark, is very involved always takes the time to talk to customers and is open to feedback.
My wife loved the butternut squash ravioli. I had the chicken parmigiana which was good. A little too much sauce.
The food is fantastic! Amazing garlic rolls! The starter salad was huge and had a great dressing. I had the Balsamic chicken, order it you won’t regret it. The chicken Rosetta was also very good. Monday night is 2 for 1 wine. Service was very good, staff is super friendly. Daniel was our server and did a great job.
Every meal I go there for, every meal that is brought into my home is five star. The servers are top notch. The lunch is the BEST deal in town. I'm a big fan of the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Panini
The food is always so good! I get the Chicken Rosetta. Yummmmmmy! The garlic rolls are super garlicy and delicious. Only complaint.... the carpet is absolutely disgusting. It needs to be replaced. Still, check the place out. You won't regret it.
The Dover Sole franchise and the chicken franchise are better than any Italian restaurant around. Their rolls are excellent. Lobster ravioli and their pieces are also top of the line.
Well, folks, if you want an Italian restaurant that makes really decent dishes but isn't pretentious, Pizza Time Caffe deserves a visit. Bring your wallet - meals here average $22 - 28 a person, but you get what you pay for. The parking entrance is not where you expect it, so be ready to drive around to park. The inside is fun. The "glowing" marble bar counter is great. The atmosphere is not ridiculous. The staff are that kind of friendly you want your neighbors to be. What about the food? It's southern Italy style cooking that is broad enough that everyone should be able to find something delicious. I had the Shrimp Oreganata, while my lady had the Lobster Ravioli which I swear tasted handmade. The garlic rolls were even perfect. Need to return here. Recommended.
Noisy boisterous place, tiny booths and alot of commotion. I ordered a slice of margarita. I had to wait outside for them to bring it out. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. Total vibe of unassuming little place in a strip mall next to a Walgreens with a terrible terrible name. To be clear it was the best thing I have eaten in weeks. Kind of place you grew up going to. Totally recommend. Pizza had a great crunch and perfect soft pillow layer on top. They finish the pizza right with fresh basil and oil. Sauce was simple but rich and tomatoey not thin and sweet or overly tangy. The mozzarella was good quality and had a satisfying mouth feel and pull. Just try it.
Really pretty inside and outside. I loved the outdoor seating area and the beautiful Muriel’s inside. Food was average priced. Enjoyed everything we ate. Especially the chocolate cake❤️. I was told this is affiliated with the other pizza time location. Although I have to say. I do think the other location has better food all the way around. Yet still was happy with everything we had here.
This place has the BEST PIZZA! The crust is flakey and crispy but soft and chewy too. Pizza Sauce is amazing and the cheese is the good kind that doesn’t all come off your pizza in one bite. The outside seating was so peaceful and beautiful with shade trees and birds chirping. The server was so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be back!
Excellent Quality Food and Service! Keep up the great work and we'll see you soon!
Fun, delicious evening at Parkland's Pizza Time Cafe! First time at this location. Parland's Pizza Time is much larger than their restaurant in Boca. Very nice bar & large TV . A group of 10 was seated promptly on a Friday evening! The place was packed so we lucked out. We enjoyed stuffed artichokes, Pizza, garlic knots, chicken parm, chicken wings, brushes take, and salads. The apps and meals were delicious, and the waitress was fabulous. The birthday boy shared his chocolate cake which was AMAZING - Happy Birthday Chris !!! Memorable evening! Highly recommend!!!
LONG TERM CONSISTENT CUSTOMER, here’s why: -local vibe especially outside and with warm welcomes from the staff -best dish imo BY FAR is the Soul Francese with penne pasta -if your gluten free they offer an great slice -apps are always new and changing -seasonal options as well like the butternut squash ravioli 🤤 -the white pie is also fantastic if you aren’t looking for red sauce -notable mentions: wings, rice balls, chicken francese and the sausage with broccoli Robb -sit outside for lunch to soak up the Florida sun with a slice or 3 and you’ll be napping in no time
Pizza Time Cafe is like been in the family dining room of your Italian grandma. Great food, great staff, cozy place. You can enjoy inside or outside seating. I love restaurants that give generous portions and Pizza Time Cafe is one of my favorites for this reason. Desserts are incredible. This restaurant is a most if you are in the Parkland area.
I loved this place, we came for a late lunch and there were just a few people. the decor recreates an Italian village and definitely makes you feel like you’re in Italy. Our server was very attentive and nice. Order a mini pizza (10 in) great size for kids and the Eggplant parmigiana from lunch menu served with salad and rolls! Portion was big! Delicious and very well made!
1st time here and I must say, this is a must to go veniew if you are In the Parkland area. The view is very inviting, service is very good. And food is superb. Leave some space for the chocolate cake. ( Note to management) offer a cup of milk with this cake . It's Delicious. Over all 4.5*'s will definitely come back .
Excellent food, great pricing. We came here based on a Dave Portnoy review of their 🍕 and we were not disappointed.
Best pizza in Parkland. The chicken Marsala is amazing. I would also recommend the garlic rolls. Great local restaurant. The service is very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great food, service, quality. 08/13/2025. not much to change. Food was good and plentiful for the $$. service was good and quick.

AMAZING I WISH I COULD GIVE 100 STARS great food good service and can I talk about the amazing decor and setting nice if your in the parkland area not as expensive the pizza maker gabe is great at his job!!!!
Food was amazing Gabe the chef comes out and personally makes your your meal was perfect. Alex our waiter was great as well provided us with top notch customer service. Best pizza, pasta, happy hour, desert place in town! And the service makes it even better.
We’ve been going there for years and they have consistently good food and service. They’re easily one of the best casual Italian restaurants in this area.
My sisters and spouses come to Florida every year. Tonight was our first visit to this cafe. Pizza Time Cafe a misnomer for this restaurant. Although the pizza is great, the menu has so much more to offer. Appetizer selections like stuffed artichoke is extensive! The menu selections include pasta, seafood, veal, chicken and salads of many Italian varieties. My sister and I had an eggplant with prosciutto roll up. It was delicious! And dessert, oh my, the pistachio cannoli had pistachio cream that was a tasty surprise and very delicious! But tiramisu and Chocolate cake should not be overlooked!! A toast to you, Pizza Time Cafe! We shall return!!
My first time here. Love the location! When I heard the name, I just thought it was a pizza place, not knowing there was a whole adjoining restaurant, which is very nice and homey. I ordered the veal parm. It was delicious and so was my pasta. The portion was very generous and the price was certainly right! I took most of it home. I was full after the salad and rolls (but I’ll have a good lunch tomorrow)! My cousin got the linguine with white clam sauce (which looked amazing!) Definitely coming back!
Had my daughter’s bridal shower here today. It was a last minute location change because the original venue cancelled on us the night before. The owner was absolutely amazing and went out of his way to ensure the party was a success. The food was out of this world and the staff went above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10. Would give more than 5 stars for this review if I could.
This family owned business is AMAZING. Fabulous food. Warm and friendly service. They saved the day when a family needed an emergency location for a bridal shower after another restaurant cancelled on them at 11:30 pm the night before. Great experience from start to finish.

Great pizza and service. Best in town for sure. Only thing, ordered a Grandma's Pie from this location by delivery and what I got was not what usually comes from their other like named location. What I got was a round thin crust, what I was expecting was a thick square crust.
The Margarita pizza here is the Best !
I've left my original review below, but I've added a star for consistent take out quality and somewhat improved dine-in experience. Original review: Great food, but the service during my last visit was bad. I've been going to Pizza Time Cafe for years, and I love their food. However, my last experience there left a lot to be desired in terms of service. I generally accept that they will have trouble keeping up with phones during peak hours, and I'm okay with it. I ate in at Pizza Time pretty late last Friday, around 8:30. We waited for a table to be cleaned because although there were empty tables, none were cleaned. It seemed that bussers were in the back doing dishes, and waiters who were standing around free seemed to think that it was beneath them. After waiting 15 minutes to be seated, nobody came by for a while to ask for drink orders, and when we finally got drinks (three waters and a beer) the waters came in plastic Coca-Cola cups. This was the second time that had happened, but every other table served before and after us had glasses. Additionally, one person asked for no ice and got ice anyway. We ordered bruschetta, gorgonzola salad, and Brooklyn style Sicilian pizza with fresh mozzarella. The food was excellent, but we got the wrong number of bruschetta (6 instead of 12). Our server kept laughing off these small mistakes, but when you are paying close to $30 for pizza, there is an expectation of higher quality service as well. Generally, our server seemed to be more interested in talking with patrons at other tables instead of taking our orders promptly. As a result, she lost her business money because I was going to order another drink. If she had taken our drink orders in a timely fashion, we probably would have bought a $50 bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva. My family became impatient and decided they didn't feel like having wine by the time we were served.
I came in for an end of the year lunch banquet. Opened in 2014, Pizza Time is a Parkland staple serving pizza, pasta, and all manor of Italian specialties. Located in a strip mall the interior is cozy with murals of Italy on the wall. All of our food was served family style except for the entrees. I got to try their Caprese salad, tossed salad, calamari, and rolls. For my entree I had the chicken Parmesan. Dessert was cheesecake and cannoli. The food was great but the service was lacking. When they served the entrees the food came out so slowly and unevenly. I was one of the last people to get food at my table and by that time everyone else was done making it awkward. If you are serving a banquet the food needs to all come out at the same time. What I ate was delicious but they need to tighten up how they serve large groups.
Nice place. Very friendly staff and pizza is delicious. I would recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy some good food at reasonable price to check it out. I am new to the area. They offer diff specials diff days and have plenty of seating outside. Make sure you make a reservation and don’t miss out. Come hungry and leave happy. I will definitely be coming back.
Great food!! Friendly service!!
We had the garlic rolls and were excellent. The antipasto was nice and the pizza was OK. We got the Margherita pizza and was very wet, I believe they put too many tomatoes on it.50% less tomatoes would have been plenty! We will be back! Service was very good.
Customer service was very good and pleasant. Ordered take out pizza. Tasted good (not the best I have ever had, bit I am admittedly a pizza snob). Dining area is very nice & roomy. Climate was nice and cool considering they have hot pizza ovens going and cooking in general.
A hidden gem in Parkland. The food is great and plentiful. They start out by serving their famous garlic rolls. Our favorite to start is the spicy calamari. I often order the veal piccata, and my husband likes the veal parm. Their pizzas are delicious as well. Service is always great, never had a bad experience at this place.
Not many choices for lunch in the middle of Snobville. Lunch Menu was 9.99 for pizza and soda. I can go to 7-11 for half or less. I ordered the chicken parm lunch. Over 15$ after tax and no tip. Could have been seasoned a little more but I ate lunch 2 days ago and finished it off tonight with more seasoning. It was good and I stuffed myself twice for the price. Why can't you just cut your portion in half for half the price? 15$ for chicken and pasta on a lunch menu ridiculous I almost walked out without ordering. You were the 3rd place I stopped at for lunch. I was out of options. Orkin Pest control was there when I was there I almost had to think twice before ordering. Honestly I don't know if he found anything. Nighttime is when Orkin should be there when the rats and roaches are actually out.
Pizza Time Caffe. Let's start off with the food. Delicious and big portions. I had the chicken parmesan I loved every bite. The atmosphere of your standard Italian restaurant. You would think by the name it would be a pizza restaurant but it's more of an Italian sit down restaurant. It was Valentine's Day so they were extremely busy. The service was unacceptably slow. But given that it was Valentine's Day, I could understand and would definitely give them another chance because the food was delicious. Bottom line is I would definitely go there again.
Great food nice and hot, served fast and was very good. It was a birthday dinner for 15 and it went well. The food was very good and very hot. The service was excellent they stood by and cleaned up the table removing plates after you finished. Staff was knowledgeable about menu and specials. If you like Italian food this is a great place to dine.
The pizza was absolutely amazing. The vegetarian pizza was mind blowing. My friends all kinda looked at me funny when I requested it but once they tasted it, they couldn't believe how awesome it was. My wife is still talking about that pizza weeks later. The only disappointment was the $10 delivery fee. It wasnt mentioned when I called and isnt listed anywhere on the menu. It wouldn't have been a disappointment if they mentioned it or it was written somewhere. I understand the need to cover delivery fees. Regardless, I'll be back for more pizza when I'm allow my cheat meals. Thanks for everything.

Not my favorite Italian food. Use to be very good but has definitely slipped. Spaghetti was like mush, meatball like a rock. Salad was crisp, raviolis were very good. 2 orders of mussels - 1 good, 1 awful. We won't be back.
Service was good. Place very nice. But the tomato sauce in the pizza was sweet! I don't know if you guys place sugar to the tomato sauce, or may be this time you placed too much, but tasted sweet. Otherwise, was a good product.
Good food. Humiliating service. Prices of online menu are WAY off. By 35 percent... And the staff who took the order was rude. Acted like they were doing me a favor taking over $50 for two pizzas to be delivered over an hour later. I dont mind paying or waiting for good food. I don't want to be humiliated by workers when I do.
Overall, this was a three star experience in every category. This is my first time visiting this place. I really wanted it to be a great spot that I can frequent since it’s so close to me. I would give it a second chance, but I must give an honest evaluation. I showed up just minutes before closing, to be fair. I walked into the small little area where orders are taken. There were a few customers sitting in chairs Waiting for their orders. There was a ton of kitchen staff — I was shocked by how many people were there cleaning up. Food was being handled by some who were snacking on their own food, which is a pretty obvious no-no in any kitchen. Though there were many eyes on me, nobody acknowledged me. It took about 20 seconds for the person at the front to look up and greet me. It wasn’t very welcoming. However, I can look beyond this if it weren’t for the food itself. Firstly, I walked in expecting to get two slices. Instead, I walked out with a mini pizza that cost me $25 — chicken, bacon, pineapple, and onions. The pizza toppings were scarce. Two pieces out of five total didn’t even have chicken on them. There was very little bacon anywhere to be found on the pizza. And the WORST part — 3 pieces had dough that was RAW. Does that sound like it was worth $25 to you? The reason that I am giving three stars instead of two or one is that with all of that in consideration, nonetheless, The taste of the pizza was excellent. It was very, very good. But the experience itself, and the astronomical price of such a terrible experience has caused me to conclude by three stars — and I think that’s generous. In the future, I will stick with another local pizza place where I know that I can get two humongous slices for $12 and have an excellent lunch.
The food used to be excellent, but i'm thinking they may have a new chef. My shrimp scampie dish was soupy.
Food was good but was disappointed when I was told I couldn't have garlic and olive oil on the side of pasta that came with my entree but would have to order a kids portion. I would have happily paid an upcharge but to be forced to order extra food is crazy. I didn't and just got the pasta plain and ultimately poured the extra garlic and oil from the garlic bread plate over it 😊. Lot's of other Italian restaurants in the area that are just as good if not better that don't go in for the money grab. I won't be back.
The food was good but the service was terrible. Took 50 minutes to get two small kids pastas. The waitress had an attitude when I asked her about our order after over 30 minutes of waiting. The kids became cranky and hungry, completely ruined the night. A waste of money
Food was super bland except for the stuffed artichoke which had so much oragano it was rendered inedible. The kitchen claimed it was normal but the waitress took it off the check anyway. I have to also mention the mop bucket in the hall leading to the men's room with half an inch of sludge sitting in the bottom. Not a comforting sight. We love the pizza take out though.
This place went so downhill it’s not funny. First of all we waited a half hour for the appetizers. Mine never came so the waitress said she will get it right away. My meal came no appetizer. Pasta came out hard as a rock. The person we were with threw the entire fish franchise away. It was awful and we will never be back.
Long time, frequent customers. We have loved pizza time for years and it has been a family favorite. However, lately the food quality and service has deteriorated. Wait time for dishes has increased, quality of food decreased (burnt, hockey puck chicken parm), and service quality has decreased (didn’t seem to care about length of time for food to come out and when time and quality were mentioned by regular customers there was a lack of concern). We have had a few similar experiences as of late and it has become too frequent to not mention it or bring it to their attention. Due to the lack of concern when we brought it up tonight, we will be frequenting other locations going forward.
I used to love pizza time. I stopped coming here because over the years it just stopped being worth it, there was no notable reason other than convenience to order from them. I supported them because I personally know family members of owners, management and workers, unfortunately there hasn’t been a justifiable reason to continue to spend money here, not with so many better options. The cheese and topping just slide complete off their pizzas leaving some sauce and dough left behind. You’re just paying to have someone else cook average food for you. There honestly isn’t anything particularly special about this place anymore, they used to be better but nothing sets them apart from any other pizza/Italian spot anymore. Never thought I’d say I’d rather order from Anthony’s coal fire than pizza time. Other than pizza which I’ve never made in my life, every other item on the menu anyone with an iota of cooking ability can make just as well. Their decline in quality is sad I’ve gone here about four times in the last 10 years since I noticed that honestly they just suck especially when considering the money you spend here, I was highly disappointed every single times. If you live in parkland and you don’t feel like cooking then go for it, you’re only lying for convenience, but again there are other nearby options that are much better. It’s really sad because I remember when they were open the day after Wilma generators going and feeding the whole community with great food.
Deep breath. Pizza Time Caffe in Parkland. This a family-owned Italian-American pizza joint with an adjoining dining room aspiring to be something better. It’s related to Pizza Time in Coral Springs, but smaller and atmospherically similar (in that dated 1980s sense) with the stereotypical Roman busts, terrazzo pink decor, and frescoes of Mediterranean scenes. It’s cute and family-owned. I wanted to like it because many people have asked me to try it over the years, and it’s practically in my backyard. First lands the house salad, which comes with the entree (we ordered the “regular” sized eggplant parm, which we’ll get to). Lovely crisp salad greens, fresh ripe tomatoes. Commercial bottled Italian dressing with a sweet flavor. Sad. We were told about the garlic rolls that come with the entree. We waited. We didn't get them until we asked about 10 minutes later. The server was apologetic, as the busser was supposed to do it. The rolls themselves had the consistency of white bread, not pizza dough. Rachel and I felt the garlic topping tasted like it came out of a jar. Acidic and harsh. The parm. The regular size is about twice the size as the small, but only $3 more. A massive portion that will serve at least 3 or 4 people. It's heavily breaded but not well-seasoned, and I thought it was very light on cheese, which is a low-moisture mozzarella you would put on pizza. I'm unsure what brand it is, but it didn't taste like a Grande. The sauce itself was somehow very cloyingly sweet (like pizza sauce at their sister restaurant in Coral Springs) and very salty. The pasta was cooked properly , that's about all I can say in praise about it. Rachel and I each had a bite and were disgusted and left the plate as is and asked for the check. Price wise, it was actually a few dollars more then Sette Mezzo’s but like 3X-4X more food. The portions of everything I saw go out were huge, and that's probably the main appeal of the place. We were asked what was wrong with it, and we told them the above. They didn't offer to replace it with something else or cancel the bill. One and done. And it’s unfortunate because I expect a family-run place like this to do better.
We got the pizza and it was floppy and boring. The service wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t great either. The waitstaff weren’t very attentive which didn’t seem warranted based on the number of guests.

Beware if you ask for fresh garlic to pair with your pizza you will be charged THREE DOLLARS. After ordering there weekly and spending $47 for two large pies, owner argued with me over the $3 dollars. That $3 cost him a weekly customer.
I have been a customer for over 20 years .I find the food quality going down hill for years . The service has been terrible they say they can't find workers people don't show up for their shift . I waited 2 hours for a delivery when he finally showed up the food was cold and no good . The owner wanted to give me a song and a dance but after I waited for 2 hours and cold food . It just not worth it .
Okay, candidly....the food is okay to pretty good. However, it is not good enough to overcome the consistently HORRIBLE service and what can only be described as distain for customers whenever...God forbid there is a complaint you want to bring to the manager—that is, if there is one because when we asked for one, the person walked away. Despite the quality of the food we will not be returning. This was not, for the record, a one time occurrence in regards to poor service. There are plenty of good Italian options in the Coral Springs/Parkland area. Drive away regular customers and see what happens!
I love this restaurant. Been coming here since it opened over a decade ago. Not sure if there is new management or if the pizza recipe has changed, but the past four times in a row it has been awful. Cold, dry, and wayyyy less cheese. We gave them four tries, and four tries in a row exactly like this. It’s like it all of a sudden changed one day. This used to be what I thought of as the best pizza I ever had, since it changed its now one of the worst. Please come back Pizza Time.
I have been a loyal customer of Pizza Time Caffe for years. Very loyal to our local spot throughout the pandemic and helped them sustain a very challenging time. I called today, New Years Eve to order dinner at 2:00 expecting them to be busy and wanted to get my order in early. I was told to call back after 4:00. After 4:00, I called and was told that only pizza orders were being taken currently to let the kitchen catch up and to call back at 7:00 to order dinner. At 6:45 I called and was told they were only taking pizza and salad orders all night. Wrong, wrong, wrong. On every level. If you had told me at 2:00 or even at 4:00 I could have made other plans, but to tell me at 7:00? I asked to speak with the owner to share the story of my loyalty to the restaurant and I was put on indefinite hold. Good bye Pizza Time, you lost a very loyal Parkland resident patron and btw, I will be sharing this story often. Loyalty goes 2 ways, and it seems Pizza Time's owner doesn't understand how to be loyal to the patrons that made him as busy as he was tonight.
Atrocious service. Wife took the kids here after school. Took 50 minutes to make one large cheese pizza. Wait staff shushed our kids multiple times, even though this place claims to be family friendly AND there was barely anyone else in the restaurant. After the pizza finally came, kids had barely taken one bite before the waiter asked if they wanted to box the pizza up. Finally, upon leaving, staff yelled at them to keep the door closed. Food was mediocre and not worth dealing with the jerks providing the service.
i just had to leave this review for the sake of my stomach. Rice Balls are fried lovers dream, i scooped out the inner cheese and some rice and left the shells over, BUT THE TOPPING ON THE CAKE WAS MY VEAL PARM DINNER. IT WAS UN EDITABLE LIKE LEATHER, 1/8 THICK LEATHER VEAL WITH 1/4 INCH OF BREADING. IT WAS AWFUL. WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. PIZZA TIME IN BOCA IS THE PLACE TO GO
