Bakers is my favorite fast food in the IE. This specific location has a dirt lot next to it so I can park my big rig, run in, grab & go. The food is consistently fresh and properly prepared. I don't feel cheated when I order to go. Friendly and helpful employees.

I drove thru and ordered a couple of burritos. I was expecting a typical burritos. However, this visit was a trophy like surprise! The burritos were amazingly large and very heavy due to being loaded and stuffed with great ingredients. Wow! Finally, this restaurant and crew got it perfectly done. Cheers to the entire crew working together to provide a great meal that was worth every penny spent. They were so large that I was full before the first one was even consumed and that is a good thing because I will visit again and again. This place will create a lot of good fortune if consistent with what I experienced. Thanks

Giving 5 stars for how I watch the employees deal with a real jerk while I was getting my food yesterday. The older lady (not meaning to be disrespectful in any way) at the register at 1130 2/20/23 was absolutely amazing at calming and finding a solution to a patrons issue he had about a burger he (thought) was a single when infact a double as he had ordered. Then she did a quick chat with employees on how to fix that issue and was right on it taking my order.

Fast friendly service. Tacos are loaded compared to other fast food tacos. Great burgers and fries. Something for everyone on menu. Perfect for young families. Dinning room always clean. Can be a bit expensive if you order larger meals with shakes but still competitive with other fast food restaurants. It's worth the money comparatively.

Went with my husband for a quick early lunch/meal. Food was hot upon receiving it as we dined inside. Food was tasty and we "ALWAYS" enjoy their Great Real Milkshakes. I order the strawberry while my husband always orders the chocolate. They are the BEST. Just for that, I give this fast food establishment 5 Stars.

The best Bakers I've ever been to and I frequent often. Always clean, fast service with hot food and never have they messed up my order. Always great food at Baker's! It's our must stop when we leave California. The food is always hot, and the restrooms clean. There may be a line, but it's just because the food is that good. They have great shakes, the chips and salsa are amazing taco Tuesday is one of life's little bonuses and baskets does tacos right, if you're a big guy with a big appetite the Texas tacos might be more your style.

I love Bakers's. When ever I'm in the area I make sure to find one. The burger was just how I remembered it. Service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean and the employees friendly.

Very good food. They are pretty quick to give me my food. They don't take your order unless you insist, they make you use the kiosks. Not everyone is tech savvy. I've seen people leave because of the frustration, and my partner gets frustrated too by the kiosks.

I really enjoyed the food at Baker's. I'm a truck driver and we broke down here in Hesperia so have been staying at the Motel 6 waiting for our truck to be repaired. Baker's was within walking distance so we decided to give them a try. The first visit we got the breakfast power burritos and they were so delicious. We got lunch today and got the double burritos, one ground beef and one chicken. They were amazing! I also got the triple berry drink with popping beads! It was fantastic and I love that real strawberries are in it. I will definitely return to a Baker's if the opportunity arises. I have not seen this place on the East Coast where we live. Awesome food would definitely recommend!! Also looks like a semi truck could possibly park in the dirt lot behind the store. I did not go check for signs whether it's restricted for trucks or not but I did see a couple trucks back there.

Bakers is one of my go-to's for a quick, delicious snack. The service is always good, respectful, and pleasing. The food is consistently decent-to-very good, and I love their raspberry iced tea. The food is really mediocre. The food is not that good in the area where we were. We don’t have a Baker’s in San Diego five wanted to try it. I like Jack-in-the-Box better, but it’s about on par with Jack in the box.

Usually quick and easy to get in and out of. Food is great; however their new new menu is not so good. They got rid of their Papa and Mama meals. Now you just order the items separately. A little difficult for people that are getting off the freeway and want something fast to eat. You can't go in and order, it's either drive-thru or order online and "ring" their doorbell to get your food. They really need to take off the "exit only please use other door" because it really is confusing people. I saw at least 3 different people try to use other other door and it's locked. Other than that it was really good just miss being able to sit and eat inside.

I have been to this location many times & the food is always delicious but my order is made wrong most of the time. Now this location does get pretty busy so it's not that big of a deal. The food is hot & tasty so that's good lol but i wish they got my order right everytime instead of sometimes which is why i rated this location with a 4 star review.

I only needed something to get the rest of the way home after winning big in Las Vegas. Bakers is a staple in the I.E. that everyone should experience at least once IMO.

Consistent experience here each and every time, over the years. Very clean kitchen!! One gripe, the French fries have a nasty aftertaste that I can’t deal with. Not sure if it’s the potato, or the oil. My hunch is that the oil is the issue. I doubt it’s dirty or old.... possibly just one with a poor taste. Other than that, great job.

Overall very good place to eat if you're on a budget honestly that's the main reason I go by is for their budget meals and their sheer variety of stuff that you can get there if you're looking to spend a little bit more money! Only knocking down a star just because the seats are stiff and old fashioned and the air just didn't feel as good as it should. But then again it was a hot day.

The battle to hire and keep good fast food workers continues. Usually Baker's in on point but something about Fridays and weekends, the food quality just deteriorates. That means the quality isn't good on weekends. The burger buns get over toasted and the crust gets black and the patties are cooked so long they're dry and hard. You're better off going on a weekday or waiting in line at innout if it's a weekend

I use to love love love bakers but the prices gone up and the sizes down. Use to eat a burrito and be full. Now its so tiny my 3 year old can finish it. Not going to order 2 so I'll eat somewhere else more filling.

This place is pretty hit or miss. Most of the time it's really good, but occasionally when I go the staff are characteristically cold. For example today they would not let me upgrade my papa twin meal and pay extra to replace the soda with a shake. Which is something they have always done before, I don't know if this is a new rule or if that particular staff did not know how to do that. So then I asked if I could order the Papa twin meal (which is cheaper than buying the sandwich fries and taco separately) and just not get the drink Because we already had drinks in the car and didn't want to waste a large bakers soda. Drive-thru women would not do this and charged me separately for each of these items making my food cost more than it normally would have with less items in my order.

Nothing worse than driving off in a hurry and realizing that you are missing food that you order. Basic math skills and yet 1+1+1+1...equals 2. I should always check. The food that was in the bag was affordable and quite good. Calling the restaurant sent me to a voicemail that wanted my name and number, and hours later still no return call. They were also out of shredded beef.

Some of the staff at the drive thru need to learn some manners.

The last 3 visits here have been very disappointing. Each time it took 30 minutes or longer to get my food and the last order they messed up. All of the workers were complaining how busy it was.

Bad customer service. Went to the register to order. Employees completely ignored us even when one was standing at the register. Waited several minutes and then noticed a kiosk. Went over there to place my order. No employee ever spoke to us. While we were eating seen the exact thing happen to another customer. They don’t even mention the kiosk to customers. Once again the employee was doing something on the register and completely ignoring the customer in front of her. A $4 increase in minimum wage and employees can’t even acknowledge you or smile at you. Shame on this Bakers!

Update again BEWARE!: I found out, they'll Upcharge you to take toppings OFF your food! Absolutely insane! If you ask for no guacamole on something that comes with it, they'll charge you over a dollar to NOT scoop it on top, even though they're saving money and time! Among other ingredients. Update: it's gone down hill even more. I went there recently and was very disappointed. Order was incorrect (cook's fault, I watched cashier double check and put it in), she had them redo it. But it was still low quality. I had nachos and there was way less cheese than there used to be, and none of it was melted. Not sure if it's the same owners, the old couple that used to own it was so sweet and really tried to keep standards high. Good food and friendly service, though the food quality had gone down over the last year. Still good though.

I've got much better burgers at a church bbq. Extremely ordinary stuff. No napkins given for takeout, none at the tables, and the napkins chute at the counter is turned around away from the customers.

This place used to be good. I won't be back. I stopped in for lunch with my dad while running errands, thinking it would be a quick, cheap grab and go. Nope. Service was abysmal, food took 17 minutes to prepare, was cold when we got it, and was more expensive than a sit down restaurant. For $14, I expected a decent quantity of meat in my burrito. What I got was utter disappointment. The thing was 90% rice. And not even good rice. I didn't think it was possible, but they somehow made rice that was both soggy and crunchy simultaneously. Dad's burger wasn't any better. The lettuce was all stem and no leaf, and very bitter. The tomato was mushy, and they must have dumped half a container of sauce on the buns. The bacon they charged me for turned to powder the second he bit into it. The ONLY thing that was decent about our entire meal was the chili cheese fries, which were... $6.29! Good, but nowhere near worth it. Not sure what happened to this place, but I will NEVER darken their doorways with my shadow ever again. Sad to see what used to be a favorite place go.

I grew up on Baker‘s back in the 90s and this past year that I’ve been going to Baker’s they change the whole flavor of their taco meat and I try to give it a chance and this time they just changed it up. Food got one star due to me. Not getting any food service was crand I didn't even bother going inside to see what the atmosphere was like, but when you order 8 tacos and you're told $22 for them, and then you see on the menu that for you can buy 13 tacos for 26. And you ask them to change it to that the bakers dozen, You're then told it's going to cost you $32 for the Baker's dozen and I mentioned but it says 26 out on the menu. I can understand a few dollars difference different for tax. And what not, but he told me that it was a completely different price. That the menu out front was wrong and outdated. But would not honor the menu price.

This place used to be Top notch. Like no kidding best quality food/ service , as of lately though the passed 3 times I went to it in the passed month or so they messed up simple orders and then when I went in to have them replace it the food was just terrible. Waited in line too long, only four cars. Came here to get dinner for my wife and myself while she shopped at Walmart just across the freeway less than a quarter mile away.she was done 10 minutes before I got my food. After reading the latest reviews, I'm not alone. Got a bun taco. Bun was stale, no cheese and had so little meat I ate in two bites. Ground beef taco had some cheese. About 1 1/2 inches of cheese, very little beef and a ton of lettuce! It was so much better a few years ago. Very disappointed. Do better!

This has been the worst bakers I’ve ever been to in my 30 years of living. The single baker was cold. The meat had holes in it. I ordered a Bean and cheese burrito meal that comes with fries and a drink. I didn’t receive my fries. I called them to let them know and all I got was attitude and I felt disrespected. The manager told me she doesn’t know what I want her to do that if I drive all the way back over there she’ll give me a small fry, which I was very unprofessional And then she continued to tell me well you can come and pick up your small fry because I don’t know what you want me to do She was very rude for being a manager

We've been going to Bakers for years and by far this is the worst experience. From the cashier Rosario and her attitude when trying to explain why their Kiosk wasn't working one of the functions to the food being beyond unpresentable. Even when asking to have a tostada replaced cause the shell was broken from put in a bad to eat there. The shift leader/manager had the same attitude.

Horrible. There was a long disgusting hair in my food. Employees should actually do their hair and wear hair nets. Pulled the hair out of my quesadilla and it wouldn’t stop coming out. 🤢

Extremely disappointed with the food and employee that made it. After a long day decided to pick up dinner for the family at Bakers, (should have gone to In n Out). Spent over $30 to basically eat bread. Super thin almost paper patty, was barely there, pieces of the patty were missing, tiny piece of tomato, a small sad looking lettuce leaf. I consider this the poorest of customer service, who put this together and thought, "thats a good burger, lets pack it and give it to someone spending money on it" clearly the employee didn't care. If you're going to be so cheap with ingredients why even start a business.

Update: in addition to posting this negative one star review I also posted after a negative experience at the bear Valley location I also contacted the bakers website and sent them an email. After about a week and a half a representative from bakers reached out to me was very friendly and apologize for the poor experience I had and offered me a digital gift card which I subsequently used going back to both locations and while the food overall was lackluster at the bear Valley location they still managed to get all of my items that I ordered correct. After visiting the main street location they once again forgot items out of my order and my food was put together in a haphazard and messy fashion. It was easy to tell once I went back inside to get my order corrected that there was a very chaotic disorganized energy amongst the entire staff. The manager didn’t even question or bother to look at my receipt as though having customers come in to get their orders fix was just normal operating procedure. Having efficient management and consistent oversight isn’t that difficult but clearly those at the bakers organization I don’t value their customers enough to take correct of measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. :As was stated in my review of your location on bear Valley Road as well as in my email exchange after you guys reached out to me about my other one star negative review , the incompetence and substandard Quality Of service and rapidly deteriorating quality of the food served is not only a reflection of the ineptitude of on-site management but a much larger systemic failure by bakers as a whole. Once again you not only got my order incorrect but the chicken tacos I was Served Were atrocious and unlike any chicken tacos I’ve ever got from you guys in the past. Yet Another immensely disappointing experience at a Baker’s drive-through. Being from Southern California I have grown up eating bakers and previously always look forward to the opportunity to do so. Unfortunately you guys have now lost a lifelong customer. The inability to perform even the basic functions of a fast food restaurant with any accuracy is mind boggling and shows zero professionalism or concern for the products and service you provide. It clearly says bean cup on the receipt and those surely are not beans in the cup. Not only was a I disappointed I didn’t get my damn bean cup but the rice you guys service is terrible it doesn’t taste good at all.

So for a good many months I've been meaning to go to Bakers in Hesperia California. So today was the day I would dine in there as opposed to Cracker Barrel. I could not have been more disappointed. I ordered the medium hamburger meal and it was virtually enough for a bird and to top it off I asked for ranch dressing for my French fries and they wanted to charge me after spending almost $8 on a lower than McDonald's quality cheeseburger. They charge you for ranch but I could open up has many hot sauces as I so desired for free, really stupid Bakers as I'm sure eight or ten wasted hot sauces are less than one side of ranch. Needless to say I will never eat at a Baker's again. Hope it was worth it.
