I just stopped by KFC in Hewitt. I stopped in the parking lot to check my order as I always do - and it was not only correct but looked GREAT!! I was starving and had a few bites. It was so good that I drove back to the window to tell the manager what a great job they did. Turns out Eunice, who waited on me, is the new manager and said they're really working on making improvements. Well Eunice, y'all knocked it out of the park!

Friends and I ordered pot pies, they were great...soda tasted like it had no carbonation. Got an order to go...when I ordered tenders the young lady at the counter suggested the 7.00 meal, so I ordered the 3 tender meal. When I got home, all that was in the box were 3 tenders, biscuit, and mashed potatoes. No dipping sauce, dessert bites or a fork. Very disappointing to eat drynuggets, and not get the mealdeal that was advertised. One bright spot was the young lady working at the counter. Very pleasant!!,

I went by KFC in Hewitt last night, and while the food may not be a 5 star, the young lady that waited on me at the drive thru definitely was. She was professional, thorough and kind. I let her know that I appreciated her because you do not always get that kind of service. Food was fine, it's what I expected from fast food, but that young lady made my evening just a little bit better. Please, let your customer service reps know when they are doing a good job because you never know when they need a pick me up just as much as we do. I wish I had gotten her name, but nevertheless, she was great

Went for chicken today and the young lady that waited on me was very nice and professional. How ever I’m assuming the manager but I’m not sure was less than professional. The young lady waiting on me asked her a question and she was less than nice with her answer. Then she brought up food and just set it on the counter and walked away. I had to ask if it was mine or not. Chicken was very good.

Food was bad the corn tasted like it had been there for days. Mashed potatoes were cold and little gravy. Chicken was just ok. I can see why they are never busy and they have bad reviews . Wont be back to that location for sure .

Raw chicken and old Mac and cheese. Chicken was extra greasy. Chicken on the bottom of the bucket was saturated with grease.

I am so disappointed in this location. I love KFC but not in Hewitt. This place has to be the worst. I can't believe they would serve the food that they did tonight. This wasn't the first time either. Now, they have a sign that says no refunds. So what are they going to do? Remake the order? They couldn't make it right unless they change the disgustingly burnt up frying oil. This has been the issue for the last few months. I figure they hadn't done it by now, they wouldn't just change it to fix one person's order. No thanks.

This is my last time going to KFC. 3pm Sunday afternoon. 12 pc. bucket. I think it was sitting around for a while. I should have taken it back. Dark. Like overcooked. Dry. Not the first time. But definitely the last. Goodbye KFC.

Im so over this location…. Poor service under staffed and old food = close this place down seriously what is corporate doing? Where is the food inspector when you need them. I ask for a 8pc nugget and I got some old food a 4pc nugget with a chicken tender that was cut in 4’s how tacky is this. If you didn’t have enough chicken nuggets just say that if I wanted chicken tenders I would’ve asked for them I hate their chicken tenders. I would’ve just went somewhere else instead of wasting my money and time. Their communication and customer service skills sucks I called them 5 times to speak with a manager and no one answered WOW!!!

This is the 3rd bad experience in a row and the last. They sold me old nuggets & fries at 7:27 PM. The manager waited on me and had no problem selling me old product. These nuggets and fries are unmistakably old as if cooked at lunch. I couldn't eat but was too tired to return to the store. I will just go into the KFC in Waco.

Third time coming here And each time I try and be optimistic. But this time is the last. The first two times, a little after noon they claimed to be out of chicken strips, and chicken sandwiches. So I settled. This time I got “Nashville Hot” tenders, one they looked awful and two I bit into them and the inside was uncooked. I threw out my whole meal.

At the hewitt location, the ladies in the Drive Thru at night were very RUDE!!!!, The food looked and taste old. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!!!! Terrible management and terrible service. Just terrible,

. What’s wrong with the lady that checks out on the speaker in the drive-through. She mumbled something about a charity when you tell her you have your own charity. She gets angry with you won’t give eye contact, throws the food out the window and is the rudest lady I’ve ever met in my life. Get rid of her that’s what’s wrong with your business. This is not the first time she’s done this to me. It’s actually the second. One time I went up there and they didn’t even have any chicken so it’d be a 15 to 20 minute wait. That’s why you have no business and you’re probably gonna have to shut this location down.

Got the Chicken Tenders and fries to go. The tenders over cooked and tasted like they had been cooked an hour before we ordered. Hard and dry, couldn’t even choke them down. French fries the same way. A-shame to pay that much and not be able to eat the food! Last time we go there.

We ordered the eight piece bucket of chicken to go from KFC on Hewitt. It was 3:47pm on 02/04/2025. When we arrived home we found the chicken had been recooked. It was dry and tough. Rather than drive 25 minutes back we just decided we would not go back to KFC on Hewitt. Look at your chicken before you leave!!

I have been to this location twice since opening. I swore after the first time that I wouldn't go back, but I did. 3rd time won't happen. Why is their chicken so badly overcooked and dried out? Is it sitting under heat lamps from hell? Is chicken jerky a thing now? The chicken is so overcooked that you can't tell the original from the extra crispy. The food is terrible. Do yourself a favor and go to Canes, Bush's, or Golden Chick if in the area.

I have been in Hewitt for 6 years and as soon as KFC was open they have been a huge disappointment. Every single time I have been there. Someone was rude each and every time. My son went by to order us food and he was not familiar with the “ Combo meals “ with KFC being only bowl and drink ( not having fries) and he asked if the combo was a combo containing fries and the lady was so rude today Aug 17,2024 @ 3pm that she didn’t explain his simple question if the combo included fries so he didnt buy extra fries and she got very angry and yelled at him and said Sir do you want the fries or NOT! And he tried to explain why he wanted to know this and she told him to leave and she is not going to serve him. What he didn’t know was, he isn’t the only one. They talk crap to every person who enters their drive through lane. Yall would get more business if you would treat your customers with respect! I will never go there again. I have been there 5 times since they opened and each and every time the same thing.

Waited 30 minutes for them to make an 8 pc meal. No apologies, not a care in the world by the staff. I’d say it was worth at least part of that ridiculous wait, but the chicken tasted like straight oil, and not just the breading. It’s as if it soaked all the way through. My boys wouldn’t even eat it - it’s legitimately that bad. Seriously, I’d rather eat MRE’s for a week than go back to that place. Straight to the garbage.

Ordered on line. Ordered crispy got the original, did not get the strips I ordered, got 4 containers of gravy and not the correct sides and when we called they said we could drive back and waste gas to pick up correct order. This Hewitt location is the worst location and should just shut their doors. Never get anything right and never have crispy chicken without a 30-40 minute wait. Thankfully there is still a Churches Chicken near by
