Fuimos a merendar y acertamos de lleno con el sitio para comer un açai. El mejor que he probado en México. La relación calidad-precio es estupenda. Si tengo que señalar algo, llevaba poca granola, aunque tenía mucha fruta, lo que lo compensaba. El café del sitio, 100 % mexicano, también estaba muy rico. La parte exterior parece un poco descuidada, pero está bien para comer. El servicio fue bueno, con chicos muy amables.

El café y la comida muy sabrosa! Un lugar que vale la pena visitar! Viki nos atendió y fue maravillosa! Muy amable y cordial, llevo tres días en Mexico y ha sido la primera y unica vez que me han atendido tan bien, de manera tan amable y agradable. Definitivamente regresaré! Muchas gracias Viki!!!

Es de mis lugares favoritos en la isla para desayunar, tiene un área cerrada y una abierta con buena sombra, el jardín es hermoso. La comida es excelente, pedimos Bagel de Salmón y Croque Madame, el sabor y la presentación está muy bien. El Bagel es abundante. El personal es muy amable y atento.

El mejor café de especialidad y brunch de la isla. Todo está hecho con mucho cariño y se nota en cada café que sirven. Un lugar con mucha historia detrás que se transmite en todo el staff que te cautiva. Sin duda si buscas un espacio idílico donde empezar tus mañanas, Copal es el sitio perfecto.

Paseando en la noche rumbo al Centro, vimos está cafetería y nos llamó mucho la atención. El día siguiente de regreso de la playa al Hotel decidimos hacer aquí un pequeño descanso y tomar algo. El lugar es muy bonito y acogedor. Nos gustó muchísimo!!

Lugar excepcional para disfrutar desayunando. La calidad del café es brutal. El mejor café que nos hemos tomado en nuestro viaje. Además tienen una terraza interior maravillosa para relajarse.

Simply the best coffee on the island accompanied by great music and super service. There is a chilled garden at the back and they serve great cinnamon buns. I couldnt wish for better. They accept credit cards but ask to leave a tip!

Copal Café at Zomay Holbox is an amazing place with a beautiful, relaxed island vibe. The food lives up to the stunning presentation. It’s all incredibly fresh and leaves you feeling nourished and energized for the day. Amazing sourdough bread as a base for sandwiches. The croque madame is so good and massive enough for two people. The avocado toast is my go-to. The cold brew is rich and strong. Great espresso. The staff are excellent- upbeat, welcoming, quick to sweep away the sand or clear a table.

We just had breakfast here and really enjoyed it! The sourdough bread was delicious, just like everything else we ordered. Great selection and the portions are very filling. The coffee is also really tasty!

Our favorite brunch spot in Holbox. Great cappuccinos and smoothies, really delicious food, and friendly staff. There’s a beautiful outdoor courtyard to have breakfast in. (Only downside: it’s a bit uncomfortable to sit, and there are a lot of small flies that can be a bit annoying.)

Out of a two week stay in Holbox, this was my favorite place for latte and breakfast or lunch. The croissants are excellent, as is the latte. The "Croque Madame" sandwich with turkey ham has been my favorite as far as lunch goes, and the "Eggs with Avocado" for breakfast - I prefer it with the 3 fried eggs (on top of the homemade bread.) The bread and avocado is always fresh. Both of these items are a very good value, and a great change from most of the other restaurants who serve the same typical fare for breakfast or lunch. Veronica and Thalia, friendly and personable, are frequently serving, Actually, the outside dining area is great, my preference, under one of the sunbrellas.

We stopped this little cafe for some good proper coffee, and it didn’t disappoint. My double espresso was at the perfect temperature - and made very nicely. The latte was great, the Frappuccino was very nice and the banana smoothie was well received. The service was fantastic with a smile, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Great start to the day. Recommend this place for coffee.

Amazing atmosphere, set outdoors, under the palm trees, with nice overhead music, and live birds chirping! My cappuccino was really good and Green Juice was fresh and very refreshing. We ordered Avocado toast, Salmon Bagel, Waffle with bacon and eggs, and Croque Madame. Everyone loved what they ordered. The menu is simple, food is cooked to order, which takes a while to prepare. Everything was delicious is beautifully presented, and delicious! I definitely recommend this place

I’ve tried several cafes in Holbox and while all are pretty good, Copal is definitely my favorite! Selection of coffee and food is amazing! We were such fans of the avocado toasts that we got it twice. The cold brew was also a favorite of mine! The garden area was great to relax and the inside is cozy to get some work done (they have the best wifi we’ve had in Holbox). We will definitely drop by next time we visit!

Would give 10 stars if possible! The vibe in the garden and people here are amazing - super chill and you totally forget the time ✨ they have super great specialty coffee from different parts. Must try the little “Pasteles” for only 25 p each - the ones with cinnamon or raspberry are super delicious 🫠🥰 Came here like every day during our stay.

The absolute best experience with the staff and oh my gosh the flavours here. Back patio is such a beautiful garden gem. The Avocado Toast was so full of flavours and nutrients, beautiful twist on the classic. Sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, truffle oil, lettuce, olive oil. Every bite was a little bit different and so fresh. Exactly how you need to start your morning. Love the way they serve their iced coffees, cute vessel. But the highlight was Micaela. It's so special how two people who do not speak each other's language can still communicate properly, laugh and bond together. I really enjoyed my interactions with her. Went back to the counter on my way out for a matcha for take away and a Micaela encore. Thank you for the fantastic service and great quality of food!

A nice place for breakfast with a nice garden in the shade. Service is fast. Delicious arepa and bread pudding. Unfortunately the whole experience is spoiled by a ton of flies that attack the food as soon as it appears on the table. The cafe could invest in some fly traps.

La comida y cafe estan muy ricos, pero cuando ven que eres mexicano si te dejan de lado y dan prioridad a los extranjeros, es muy notable su indiferencia.

Decidimos visitar este lugar por las buenas reseñas que leímos, pero nuestra experiencia no fue la mejor. Al llegar, nadie nos recibió ni nos ofreció ayuda; tomamos el menú por nuestra cuenta y tuvimos que acercarnos a ordenar, lo que indica que pasó un buen rato antes de que alguien nos atendiera. La cocina es bastante lenta, así que si llegas con hambre, probablemente no sea la mejor opción. El sabor de la comida es bueno, y entendemos que por eso muchas personas lo recomiendan. Sin embargo, la atención al cliente deja mucho que desear. El único momento en que realmente te sonríen es cuando te piden la propina. Por los precios que manejan, creo que vale la pena explorar otras opciones con mejor servicio

We went to this restaurant twice for breakfast as it was conveniently located near our hotel- once dining in and once ordering takeaway. Unfortunately, both visits were let down by extremely poor service. The food itself was fine but unremarkable. We had scrambled eggs with avocado and sourdough. The eggs were slightly overcooked, but we weren’t expecting Michelin-level cooking, so that wasn’t the main issue. The real problem was the wait time. On both occasions, we waited close to an hour for very simple breakfast orders. The second visit was particularly frustrating: my husband went to collect a takeaway order as we were short on time and was told it would take 15 minutes. In reality, it took almost an hour. To make matters worse, takeaway orders aren’t given numbers, which caused confusion at the counter. Someone attempted to take our order, and only after my husband complained did the staff intervene and give us the food. Overall, mediocre food, very poor service, and absolutely not worth the long wait. We wouldn’t return.

For the money, the quality is not good enough in my opinion. The bagel with salmon tasted like nothing and my boyfriend was worried about the salmon. The avocado on the bagel was partially brown. The Açai bowl was ok but not like described or like the other pictures. Banana was also a bit brown on some parts. There is very little space to sit inside. Outside workers are busy. There is a lot of noise coming from the airconditioner and the music selection is not suitable for a coffee/brunch place. I would not go here again unfortunately.

No puede ser posible que te entreguen un desayuno remojado en aceite de oliva y pimienta y, salado. Luego con pedazos de plástico en el huevo y la “ensalada”. Y a pesar de comentarles que me lo quitaran de la cuenta por qué no pagaría eso, optaron solo por descontar el 10% de la cuenta por el inconveniente. Y antes de yo pararme, mi pareja igual le comentó a la mesera y solo le dijo “¿Qué quieres que haga?” 🤮

A place with atmospheric decor, and that's where the positives end. We ordered coffee, water, and breakfast. We waited 40 minutes for our food, and the drinks still weren't there. The food was on the kitchen counter for over 10 minutes before the waitress brought it to us; everything was cold. There are better places in Holbox for a delicious breakfast.
