The flavors of all the burgers are amazing 👏. The kabobs was perfect season and it had a balanced amount of heat.
Great food. Def worth a visit. Came here to say with 4 kids (3yo to 11yo). They all loved it. Smashed burgers aren’t too smashed, which is way I like it. The double patty is huge. Lots of great flavor combos on the speciality burgers. The bowl was delicious as well. Stop in here for a quick good meal!
Had the Gouda Bacon smash... WOW! Juicy and good! Will be back to try the rest of the menu. Tia was excellent from the time I entered the building. She gave great info about the company and meaning of the name. Definitely, a keeper to represent the business with her friendly and inviting personality.
There was a quick moving line, friendly cashier and wait staff, tasty burger and fries, and a combo for just a few bucks more than the burger. All the burgers can be subbed with chicken or vegetables. The regular fries, Cajun fries, and plantain fries were delicious. A first time patron that will return. Oh and my daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese.
Stopped by Pincho in Houston and the smash burger did not disappoint! The patty was perfectly crispy on the edges, juicy in the middle, and packed with flavor in every bite. The toppings were fresh, the bun was soft and buttery, and the whole burger came together like a comfort-food masterpiece. Service was friendly, the vibes were casual and welcoming, and the food came out hot and fast, exactly what you want when you’re craving a great burger. If you love a solid smash burger, Pincho is absolutely worth the stop! 🍔🔥
I visited Pincho for a special event and was blown away be the entire experience. Not only are their burgers some of the best I’ve ever had, but the staff are even more of a treat than the food! The owner shared his story of how Pincho came to be and I was inspired. It is easy to tell that his love runs far deeper than just making food, he truly wants to serve customers. It is easy to tell why they have won many burger competitions. Their head chef is a master of his craft. I will definitely be back.
Service was friendly and amazing. The spicy smash burger was really good. Definitely one of the top 10 burger spots in Houston. Their sweet potato tots were great as well since they were nice and crispy. Oh and the chocolate chip cookies are good dessert to wrap up with.
Pinchos is a great restaurant, the food is excellent, I prefer the bowls over the burger but they were both good in their own ways! The fried cheese is tasty when hot and fresh, I love the Sweet potato tots and apple sauce! I never thought of that combo before! On my last visit, a lady named Jasmine was working, she was as friendly as could be, very attentive! When there was no line, she would check with the different customers to see if they were enjoying their food, and if they needed anything, before she headed to the back to work on another task. The atmosphere and vibes were great, I love the decor and I believe there was some music playing in the background but it was just barely audible to where you could still have a pleasant conversation. I'll definitely be back for more bowls, sweet potato tots, that apple sauce and the fried cheese!!
Great first experience! ⭐️ It was our first time visiting Poncho Burgers and Kebabs in Spring Branch, and we didn’t know what to expect — but we were pleasantly surprised! The customer service was friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. We ordered two protein bowls, and not only were the portions generous, but the seasoning and flavor were spot on. Everything was fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! P.S. We also appreciated the background music — a mix of contemporary Spanish pop that added to the atmosphere without being overwhelming. It was smooth and tasteful, unlike the loud or jarring music you sometimes hear in other places. A nice touch!
The first time I ordered from here was an online order, excited to try it out. Went home and realized my chicken burger was not cooked, I was so very upset but I emailed the store about what happened and they sent me coupons which was nice of them. So, I have tried other burgers and fries and they are delicious, so I wouldn't discourage anyone not to try it. They have delicious food. I wanted to put this on my review because I wanted to make sure this store knew and to make sure to always check your orders.!
Vibe- Very clean nice establishment with a decent amount of seating inside and some outside as well! I dinned in and really enjoyed the playlist they had going :) Customer service- Great! What is awesome is they offer 25% off for first responders and teachers :) Food/drinks- I had the Latin bowl with brown rice and the veggie patty added. Parking- It’s in a lot with plenty other businesses so parking was not an issue.
It says inside the place originated out of Miami. It feels like you're with the music they play and the weird burgers they have. It's good but not great. They do have kebabs since you're not a burger fan. It's definitely edible. If you are a burger, just watch out for the potato sticks that they put on the burger. It's different if you're not used to it. Not bad, but just weird.
I got the Pichos trios and a drink, no sides. I thought the kabobs were really good, however I wish they had some sort of roasted veggies in the middle as an option (if they did have this option I didn't see it). ATMOSPHERE I was in there on a Wed night basically on other table of people eating and lots of food delivery pickup orders. This is a chain restaurant and the people working acted like it, not super welcoming. OVERALL My order came to about $26, which to be fair included a good deal of meat. All three items of the trio, the shrimp, beef, and chicken was moist and flavorful.
The wait was SO long. We waited nearly thirty minutes for our food, and even longer for our burger. But, we came during the $5 BYO bowl deal, and it was pretty good, and great value! I like the cilantro lime sauce. The burger is mediocre, but I enjoyed the fries!
I understand you running a special but how can a guest get full experience if your out of the ingredients they want an 25 mins for this very little chicken bowl was kinda crazy
The Mexican bowl is underwhelming in my opinion. I ordered takeout. I could have spent $2ish less on an Chipotle bowl, and I’ll do that next time as you get fresher and more ingredients. I did add a side of cilantro sauce. Glad I did, as I preferred it over the aioli. Not a terrible meal. But not a fantastic one either. Just meh.
We arrived at Pincho around 12:45PM on a weekend. There was no line. I went with some family who had tickets for free Pincho burgers from their grand opening, and I ordered sides for the table (fries and sweet potato tots). We received our food very quickly (6 minutes from order to table). Overall, the price for the quantity and quality of food received wasn't worth it if I was paying full cost. The fries were good (the no salt request meant they turned out hot and crispy) but the sweet potato tots were received soggy. The portions are mediocre for the high price. We found out late the sweet potato tots were supposed to come with apple butter but didn't get that until someone in management noticed. The burgers were tiny for the price. They were cooked well with fresh ingredients and a nicely toasted bun, but other fast casual places do the same at half the price. The crispy potato is a nice touch, but I could get another burger from somewhere like In-and-Out, go home and add some fried onions and get a better flavor for a fraction of the price. My family went on opening day and said the burgers and quantity of sides were much better then. Overall, I may return to try a different burger, but I wasn't really impressed.
I went last weekend and the burger was okay. The burger I got did not meet it's expectations. There was hardly any bacon or grilled onions on the burger Bacon Me Gouda. The fries were good.
Pretty shocked by all the positive reviews, I must have gone on an off day, which was today at lunch. The cashier was friendly...took my order at 12:20, which was a cheeseburger with cajun fries. I subbed the sauce for mustard, I told her I didn't like the sauce and she said ok. I grabbed a number and sat outside. 15 minutes passed, I go back in and ask if perhaps they missed my order. The cashier mentions it's still being cooked. No problem. Another 15 minutes go by and my order finally comes out. I thought it was odd because there were maybe 10 people there but whatever...I just don't think it should take 30 minutes to make a burger & fries at a to-go style place that isn't busy. When the burger arrives it appears to be good. Bun looks nice, produce fresh.... but I notice the fries have the very sauce I told the cashier I didn't like drizzled all over it. That would have been good to know when I specifically told the lady I didn't like that sauce (and there's no pictures of it anywhere for me to predict that it would be all over it). I bite into this burger and it's crunchy. I thought it was the crunchy onions until I took another bite, and this thing was burned so bad it was like a hockey puck. I took the patty out and it was hard as a rock, you could hold it by the end and it stayed flat in the air like a plate. They also use deli mustard instead of regular yellow mustard, which was something else I found out after the fact (and not something I would have wanted). I ate two more bites and threw the thing in the trash. The fries would have been fantastic without all the sauce on it. All around bad experience, would not return unless you're there for the thousand island fries, and that's your kind of thing. **2/4/26 edit** I emailed as they instructed me to do on their reply a little over a week ago and they didn't answer me or try to make it right. This is all for show :)
I came to Pincho Burgers because the burgers look really good, and I decided to try the Magic Burger with a double patty along with Cajun fries. The total came out to about $18. While the burger was definitely tasty and flavorful, I was honestly shocked by how small the double-patty burger was for the price. The Cajun fries were another disappointment—nearly $5 for a regular portion of fries with Cajun seasoning felt very overpriced. Overall, I didn’t feel like I got good value for what I paid. For $18, I could’ve easily gotten a full barbecue platter elsewhere. Because of the portion size and pricing, I don’t think I’ll be ordering a burger here again, even though the flavor was good. I may try the kebab platter.
The entire food experience was just underwhelming. (1) The wait was very long (~20 minutes) even though the place was not crowded on a Monday evening. (2) We had to order the food at the register, get our own drinks, and bus our own table, so I didn't get why the payment system encouraged tipping. Sorry, I'm just not a fan of that kind of system. Quite frankly, I don't need someone delivering my food to my table or asking me how everything is when I go to a small burger/fast food place. What I appreciate from a fast food place is some delicious, nutritious food that can fill me up and allows me to get on with my day/evening quickly. (3) The "steak" for the bowl, albeit tasty (I was told), looked like it was boiled in water. The shrimps were neither good nor bad, which means they are not memorable. (4) The side broccoli was a bunch of chopped up stalks - we had never seen that happen before. (5) I had also never seen maduro (soft plantain) chopped up like that, which was neither visually nor palatably pleasing. (6) The side salad portion was so small, and the vinaigrette was too sour for my taste. The cilantro sauce was very good. Ok, they were generous with the extra sauces. (7) The plates were just sad looking to me like hospital food. Have you seen the kind of plates you'd get at Fadi's for just a couple dollars more?! (8) My child who had the steak bowl ended up with diarrhea right after dinner. I won't be returning.
