I give it 5 stars cause the food was good and the cook Steven (I think that's his name) made an awesome basted egg for my grandma. The area we sat at had a strong sewer smell by the bathroom which was nauseating. Will sit on the other side next time. Great coffee!

Wonderful friendly light hearted place to enjoy a meal. My waiter named on the ticket in the picture was absolutely amazing, she went the extra mile to chat but not too much. I LOVE WAFFLE HOUSE.. This location is no different… I will say this… We came at 11:30am on Saturday & the place was PACKED… It wasn't too bad I guess… We only waited for about 20 minutes to get a table.. The service was pretty decent.. They got the order right… We ordered the Hashbrown Bowl.. 1 with eggs & 1 with no eggs.. $7.65.. Worth every penny.. The only discrepancy was, they forgot that my wife ordered the coffee & I ordered the water.. So they mix them up when they set the drinks down… Also.. They forgot the creamer.. We asked for it again & after 10 minutes I had to go get it myself.. But other than that, it was just another good trip to Waffle House..

The pretty girl with the red braids is doing a wonderful Job and shows excellent management skills. I admire how she can mediate and help other employees when things are moving at a fast pace and they are stuck without over throwing her power or making them feel bad but instead Stepping in And I think as a peer or friend who’s there to help I’ve been sitting here for about 10 or 15 minutes and I’ve seen her level two or three situations that could’ve potentially been chaos and mediate to make them run smoothly amazing job Linda!

I love waffle house no matter what, I always have the texas bacon cheesesteak every time I am near a waffle house ! This visit was one of my best visits. We were seated within 10 minutes, our server was on point, asked for our drinks, and if we had happened to know what we wanted, which we did ! Placed our order, and it was out in no time ! And it was delicious as always ! All them workers were on it ! So was our server. She was very attentive. The place was a bit messy, but they're always busy and at least cleaned up tables and immediately sat the next ! This location was a good one !

Went there for the 1st time in quite a while. So glad that we decided to return. Best cheese omelet ever -- no grease .. thank you Carlos for preparing. Husband ordered a golden waffle, and it was hot and perfect. Wonderful toast/coffee/grits too. Anna was our server, and she was great and so attentive. We love WH! No surprises but we love the food. We liked that there was a hostess who put our name on a list so there was no competition for tables. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Food was great although my companion said her waffle was cold. All in all, delicious! Our only complaint was my friend went to the bathroom and said it was disgusting and she would wait for our next stop.

I have not been to a Waffle House since the early 90s. I was unfamiliar with the restaurant and I expected to find an expansive menu with crazy options. It’s your ordinary diner, find a seat and everything else is straight forward. Everyone in the kitchen was hustling- not one person standing around and all the waiters kept asking to get their plates completed. One loud patron demanded to get food quickly and someone told them to be patient, both laughed afterwards. Food plate was alright, extra points for crispy bacon. The biscuits and gravy were nothing to write home about. I came here out of curiosity knowing well this is not a Snooze/ First Watch/Toasted Yolk concept restaurant, let alone Disneyland. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was affordable, not high as other breakfast diners. If I thought my experience here was very mundane, it was brightened up Mimi, our waitress. I came here for a quick breakfast and thought it would be fun to revisit an old locale I used to be fond of as a kid. Mimi, like the people behind the counter, is all the best that I remember: neighbors, community, smiles, a break from the outside world, conviviality. Mimi was very attentive to our needs and made pleasant talk. Even though a diner can be hectic( everyone is rushing orders for take out, delivery, questions and remarks thrown into the air) Mimi kept her cool and just focused on service. For this event being the first time we met and possibly the last, she made it seem like it didn’t matter, she was here to make the entire experience pleasant. If you’re looking for a no frills, quick breakfast experience this is it. As for the staff morning staff, they are working their butts off to make your visit worth it.

I was in Houston visiting family and wanted to some breakfast. Waffle House keep coming up on my Google search, so I went. The staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. I ordered the pecan waffle with a side of bacon. Man! The waffle had crisp edges with a soft center and was delicious. The bacon was fried crispy just like I like it. The only down side, the the restaurant needs interior and exterior updates. I would recommend the food, just do pickup or delivery.

The food was great. Madea was also great. She made suggestions and provided good service to us. The only issue I had was all of the yelling. I mean multiple staff yelled cross the restaurant during our entire visit. It was difficult to have a conversation at my own table with the person I was with. It was a lot. It was just so loud. But overall good.

If you know you know that Waffle House has great food for a great price and is always opened. We stopped in after the rodeo this year and I felt inclined to leave a review because the food was really good considering the late night options. Staff was friendly and the vibe was chill. Not the nicest of places but I would recommend if it’s a late night hunger you are having.

Our family of four ate here for the first time between 1-2PM. FOOD: Was fine. I had chili & grits and 1/4 chocolate chip waffle w/ water and lemon. My mom, stepfather, and grandma ate eggs, bacon, and toast. They thought it was fine. This place is decent to get your quick “eggs and brekky” fix. ATMOSPHERE: Way too loud for our liking. Not very pleasant to eat here. My grandmother gets a bit anxious around loud noises and we didn’t know this was going to be so loud. The sound of plates constantly being moved about. SERVICE: We were in and out so quickly there’s not much to talk about but our waitress Shakira was efficient, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. Maybe this place is a franchise which would explain the environment but overall I wouldn’t come back again if I had the choice.

Never go at night as I did. You'll be treated to loud customers. Dirty conditions. Rude staff. And the food you ordered probably won't come out correctly. And they won't do anything to fix it. Waffle House is fine during the day but it is not meant for most of us at night

As always the food was great. My only problem was the $5 I got charged. I got charged for the eggs that came on my plate and I paid extra for the meat. One came with the plate and the other I paid for but I got charged $4 when the menu said $2. Everybody getting ridiculous.

One of my favorite go to restaurants when I am wanting breakfast either day or night. This location is near my home and on my way to business . Not fancy but they serve a great breakfast. Pick what you want from the menu and how you like it cooked. Service has always been good anytime I was there. Would return for sure.

Well it's waffle house. So this one has greasy poorly cleaned tables ( greasy spoon). I ordered eggs over easy which means soft center but not broken. I ordered 3 eggs. Double order of hash browns scattered smothered and covered which also means two pieces of cheese which I did not get. I am detail oriented so as many Waffle houses as I have eaten in including this one about a year or two ago they partially failed!!

I used to like waffle house, but not today. I understand not being able to place a phone order anymore but you cannot even speak to anyone even after you order. I ordered two Texas bacon chicken melts with grilled onions and pickles and cheese. I received with out the grilled onions and pickles. I ordered a double hash brown with cheese grilled onions and jalapeños. The cheese was missing until I told the waitress. Needless to say I love Waffle House but I’m visiting from Dallas and this location was a let down.

This may be my worse breakfast experience in recent memory. The server acted like she was doing us a favor to wait on us. She was visibly impatient in taking the order and frankly rude. She was wearing a pin that indicated she was a "diamond" server. That must be given based on seniority alone. I ordered crispy bacon and it did not even look cooked. The waffle was about a quarter inch thick....definitely not impressive for a place that specializes in waffles! I would avoid this place entirely!

Avoid eating here. I have decided to not eat here any longer. Everytime I eat there, I have to vomit outside or as soon as I get home. I had a craving for Waffle House grits, sausage and breakfast. I will start eating my breakfast from home. There is a high change there is expired food or spoiled.

But this time our sever didn’t give us an item we ordered (but I was okay with it, she seemed new, as long as she took it off my ticket.) when I go to pay for my family’s food she said (same server) the total was at $56, which I thought was outrageous. I told her about the missing food and it brought the total down to $53. When she handed my change back and I asked for a copy of my receipt, she got nervous and told me “I can’t do that” when I’ve worked as a server and I know for a fact that they can do that. She printed a receipt out but held onto it for a minute and I kindly asked her to see it. She then proceeded to open the register and hand me $12 that she had shorted me. I could tell this was on purpose because once I asked for that receipt in her hand she immediately opened the register because she knew I was about to look at it. My total was $43 not $53. This is THEFT and needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY before she does this to other customers.

My dad had taken me and my family to waffle house because it was my birthday , but it turned into a nightmare we sat down and our waiter her name was Madea and she had horrible service first she raised her voice to my dad , so my dad decided not to be rude about it and speak back she left came back with the food , and my dad said “ Thank you girl “ and she reacted in the most terrifying way she she said “ I am a woman “ she pointed at me and said “ she is a girl “ my dad told her “ I already tried to be friendly with you even though haven’t been with us “ my mom joined and said “ He was just kidding “ so then she grabbed my dads arm with hot coffee in her hand and said “ let’s go to the backyard do you want me to throw this on you ! “ my dad just looked at her and she said “ I’m just kidding “ in a mocking tone one of the lady that heard the argument told us she had been really rude and she had put her hands on a waffle we had ordered. Worst experience the food was good overall it was just the waiter. In my opinion I would say they should just select carefully who they hire.

November 7th around 8 pm. Called to place a to-go and could not get through to someone. Came inside and found out why. The phone was placed off the hook. The phone stayed like that during the duration of my visit. Server girl told me there is no dining in. Only to go. Place was empty . The cook has poor cross contamination prevention skills. Handles raw meat then sticks his hands in the vegetable pans. Wipes his gloved hands across his apron. No times written on the egg card above grill.

Wow, this place was super greasy. The stoves had more grease under and on than any place ever... waitress answered her personal phone 3 times once during us giving order. And the tables and floors where trashy... food under cooked... didn't want to stay to have items recooked. Due to we lost our appetites... you can tell it's just a job to them...

Came to Waffle House because it says open 24 hours, but when I showed up with my wife and 1-year-old, they told me they don’t open until 6 AM. I’m just confused how “24 hours” turns into “we open at 6.” If you’re not open 24 hours, just be honest about your hours. Don’t waste people’s time — especially families with small kids.

Came in around 3am. Everybody looked at me but nobody greeted me. Sat down in a chair and was ignored for about 5 minutes until someone slowly walked over. Vibe was dead and I felt like they would prefer it if no customers had come in. The food was great but with service this bad I don't know if I want the food anymore. This place was not good there was a spider stuck on the syrup bottle. Little bugs crawling on the table. The waffle and grits were just poorly cooked. I had to get up to get a refill on my drink. Just poor service and poor food.

Disappointed Experience The service was good, but the food was completely burned. By the time we got to our room, we couldn’t eat anything. The toast was the only thing not burned, but it ended up soggy from the condensation in the takeout box. The waffle tasted like the kind you make yourself at a hotel — actually, the hotel ones taste better. $30 straight to the trash can. We were too tired to take it back, but this was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Waffle House. I usually love Waffle House, but this visit was a big disappointment.

Food was either over cooked or undercooked. No love in presentation or customer service. The server Jaime was trying to accommodate but the supervisor aka cook said half off. Over all experience I would rate 0. The cook didn’t greet or apologize. He just had an attitude and sat in the corner eating his food. Would not recommend

I used to enjoy coming to this Waffle House but recently I witnessed something disturbing and unsanitary. The manager of the building was the grill op for the day and she was cooking food with only one glove. I watched her flip an omelette with her bare hand and acrylic nails about an inch long. I could see egg residue under her nails and here she was just moving plates down the line and cutting toast with the same hand. I ended up walking out immediately with plans to never return .
