We eat at Willie’s often, but tonight we had a waitress named MJ. She was great! The manager came around and asked how everything was going and if the food was good. I said the food was great but MJ was better. She then let us know that she was happy to hear and that MJ was new. We wouldn’t have known she was new. She did an excellent job!

I recently made a trip to Houston and heard that the salads from Willie ‘s were great. Although I was there for only five nights, I ate at Willie’s three times. That’s how great they were. Their salads were great and so was their chicken fried steak. The sides were superb as well. When I go back to Houston I’ll be eating there again.

Wow! My first time here and I am impressed! The food was fresh and flavorful! Our server, I believe his name was Bill?, was fantastic! The rustic vibe, definitely, fit the juicy burger I had! We will be back soon! I am so glad we decided to check this place out! The small, intimate vibe, great service, and wonderful food is worth checking out!

Sonja was my server and I had a great time. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really chill. The manager, Sharon also double check to make sure all of our food was good and that we were okay.

Had a great patty melt and my companion loved the burger! They make their own onion rings in-house, which I highly recommend. The beer taps weren’t quite up to the task in the heat, but Tyler very kindly exchanged my draft for a bottle, and I appreciated the quick friendly service.

Been coming to this Willie’s since my highschool days (2010) and it is still good as it was back then! Literally any option you get here will be a great choice. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The vibes here are definitely great, makes you feel right at home sharing a meal with other Texans!

Had lunch at Willie's today and got impeccable service from Tyler. He's always on point add this incredible eating joint! I had the blackened catfish with blackened shrimp and fries was delicious. We always get the fried mushrooms up front and they are always hot and good. Fried or blackened everything on the menu is spectacular every time!

So I entered Willie’s and saw Hope who greeted my family warmly and asked us if it was our first time (which it was). She took the time to breakdown how they operated and answered all of of our questions making the experience very personable. I was only able to take 2 pictures an appetizer and my Sons Kiddo Meal. But my wife and I ordered: Blackend Shrimp with 2 sides and Chicken Tenders with Fires. The sides are pretty average and gave them a 6.8 out of 10. Personally I’m always in search of the best Coleslaw and still haven’t found it. I gave it a 4.9 out of 10. But that Blackend Shrimp 👀👀👀 Came with some flavor, seasoning and was not over cooked, highly recommend 7.8 out of 10. Lastly Phillip was our server he was kind, friendly and interacted with us making it a fun experience. They even switched TV’s to the sports we wanted. Overall HIGLY recommend it’s family friendly, staff is nice, inviting and the price is VERY reasonable. It even has drinks and happy hour for all. Be sure to ask 💯 FYI don’t focus on the bad reviews, give it a try. That’s what life is about, experience something!

First time trying, cant rate the restaurant itself as my coworker picked our meals up. We both thought that the hamburger patties were a bit small, maybe just a one off, but still a really good burger! Had the seasonal that came with chips and queso and I substituted fries for onion rings. It was all really delicious and plan on returning real soon.

I haven't been to this location but I'm glad I did! I order the Burger Smash tacos with queso and chips for my side. You have the option to get two sides with additional charge for the premium ones! I really like the tacos. It needed a little bit more seasoning. The thousand island dressing was ok. I dipped the tacos in the queso and it improved the flavors. Trey is awesome! Would love to have him again as our server.

Nice family friendly restaurant. Food was okay average at best. Good portion sizes. Wasn’t crowded when I visited but still was sat outside on patio area. No complaints about it just an observation.

Had a lot of success at Willies’s during Covid. 2020 had great drinks and wonderful salad there. In 2021 another great salad and amazing onion rings. Tonight, not so much. Not only was the wait staff a disappointment, but also the quality of food. The mashed potatoes tasted like potato flakes. The chicken fried steak was mediocre. To me, there was an off-taste of the street corn. However, my mate loved all of his meal. My salad was not delivered how I ordered it. I wanted no croutons, but there were some on there. A lot of white, inedible lettuce. The fried shrimp did have a good taste, but I didn’t like the breading. Celebrating my dad‘s birthday. I got sweet tea, and even that was a not up to snuff. It’s a decent enough place to get a fairly inexpensive meal. However, life is too short to eat food that’s just ok.

My husbands food was not cooked properly, hush puppies were raw inside. Cocktail sauce was frozen ! Coleslaw tasted old. My burger was flavorless. Fries were soggy. Coke was flat. Salsa has a weird flavor. Our server made a rude comment about how much chips and salsa we had ordered and we are fit people, not sure why she had to say something like I can’t take the rest home. We rarely go out to eat and wanted something we know is always good, it was not good. Very disappointing

I gave them a 2nd chance after burnt CFS at HWY 6/COPPERFIELD location last Friday. I tried this location since I knew it was the kitchens fault not really server. Cayla took my to go order and was EXCELLENT. NO PROBLEM WITH HER AT ALL. She went above and beyond explaining the menu options. But when I checked the food before I left from patio yesterday the food wasnt fresh nor hot. Leftovers from lunch given to me around 230pm. I've been food poisoned by their old rotten avocado BLT, the catfish and shrimp were old and inedible as well as the baked potato and chicken fingers. I ate some for dinner around 630 to 7pm and that when I felt very sick and had diarrhea profusely. I proceeded to take photos and document everything immediately and NOTIFIED BRANDON the manager. I got a rude HARASSING call from their insurer, NATIONWIDE this morning. The insurance intake person was rude and gruff accusing me of lying and threatened to jail me!! I have emails to prove everything and will be speaking to my attorney and the Hariis county Health DEPT and Channel 13 news Investigations tomorrow. I have not eaten all day, stomach cramps and fatigue mixed with anger and humiliation. Let the photos speak for themselves. This is unacceptable and they need to be shut down. Looks like they are on their way with the 1.5 piece of RAW BACON ON MY SOGGY BAD BUILT BLT YESTERDAY. I tried to cook it further but I shouldnt have eaten it at all. Tasted like they picked it up off the floor. IM SCARED TO EAT ANYTHING NOW. ILL PROBABLY FAST UNTIL I TAKE MY STOOL TEST, NOW I MUST FIND A CLINIC THAT ACCEPTS MY INSURANCE. SKIP ALL WILLIES ICEHOUSE LOCATIONS. THEY THREATENED ME WITH NATIONWIDE INSURANCE AND THOSE FOLKS ARE HACKS AND BULLIES TOO!
