Preguntas frecuentes sobre Cafe Medi
Opiniones de Cafe Medi Hurst
This place never disappoints! I love their falafel wraps and dolmas. The lemon soup and tzatziki sauce are absolutely fantastic. Best tzatziki sauce I’ve ever had as a matter of fact.
Food is excellent! Both my husband and myself love coming here . . . For years! Professional service and relaxing atmosphere. Music played by a professional classical guitarist on the weekends is an extra bonus Bill and Margie Sipple
I had a fantastic experience at Cafe Medi! Owner Theresa Mouroi was wonderful and so nice to talk to – she made me feel very welcome. My server, Jennifer, was exceptional; she provided excellent food suggestions and provided impressive knowledge of the menu. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!
I've been here multiple times as it is a great meetup spot with my aunt. Nicolette has served us each time and she is delightful! Highly recommend the Kefta and lemon soup!
Cute Mediterranean food spot. They serve the best Falafels !!!! We also tried their Meza plate (Hummus, Tzatziki & Babaghanoosh) and it was good too. Great ambience and great staff .. no waiting !
This place is by far the most B-E-S-T Mediterranean food spot. Had a party of 11 group and was seating right way. The service was great the staff and helpful friends and alway make sure you are well taken care of. The food is *chefs kiss* fresh big portions and flavorful. We also enjoyed the live music. Its a nice family friendly or even cozy date night spot.
We ordered the big platter for 2 people. It gave us about 8 servings of delicious leftovers. Everything we tried was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Best Greek restaurant in the area. Jaea was an awesome host when I went in person and every time I get food delivered it never disappoints. Have tried the gyro, beef, mahi mahi, and chicken. The greek salad upgrades are generously portioned and delicious. And the rice pudding is incredible. I cry on the days they don’t have it. 10 lashes to the fool who let them run out! I wish they were open longer each day.
Had lunch here for the first time! It was a great experience. Three of us shared the Meza Plate (Hummus, Tzatziki, and Babaghanoosh), the beef and chicken shawarma and the cabbage rolls. The Meza plate was the best! The creaminess of the hummus was outstanding and I’ve never had just delicious babaghanoosh. The beef and chicken were mixed together on the shawarma combo. Very tender and well seasoned. The cabbage rolls were just ok for me, but everyone else thought they were awesome. The lemon and rice soup that came with the meal was also delicious and very authentic. Overall great place and great service.
My wife and I have been coming to the restaurant for years. The service has always been great! The food is wonderful. My usual Souviki Beef with green beans has always been perfect. Don't just take my word for it, stop by. You won't be disappointed! Plus they have a live guitarist on Fridays and Saturdays.
Went for the first time the other day and I was super impressed with the quality of everything! When we got there, we were greeted friendly, and our drink order was taken promptly. We also got some more pita bread as soon as we sat down. The hummus here is spectacular. The service was great. I definitely will be coming back.!
Local gem!! There’s a reason this place has been a staple in the NRH/Hurst community for so many years. I ordered the vegetarian plate to go and it was basically a sampler of many different traditional dishes. I subbed out the dolmas for gyro meat and for my soup/salad choice I opted for tabouli! Service was fast, attentive, and personable. Can’t wait to come back!
The food was great!! Large servings, qreat service and they had a gentleman playing the guitar! This was on Friday evening. They have 2 locations. I went to the one in Hurst. I'm looking forward to trying their restaurant in Keller too. 129 Olive st. 76248. They don't serve alcohol. But you can byob!! I had the souvlaki beef, green beans (best green beans ) and my friend had the cabbage rolls.
Four of us stepped in for a late Sunday dinner. Not crowded, but several tables were full of happy people. The menu offered a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes. We began with dips and fresh pita bread. My wife decided to try the Moussaka. Our daughters split the Cabbage Rolls trying something new. (They're regulars.) I ordered the Shawarma combo. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choice. And to top it off, the portions left us filling to go boxes! Great evening! We will definitely be back!
This place has wonderful authentic tasting Greek food. We started off with a Meza Plate as an appetizer, and it was just delicious. For an appetizer, it’s quite large! We then ordered our meals, a Vegetarian Plate and a Greek salad substituting the regular side salad. I can’t quite remember the entree the person I was with ordered, but I do remember that she got a Lemon Rice Soup to go with it. All were delicious! We had plenty of leftovers when we were finished.
Our server Laura was very attentive and did a good job. I got the shwarma combo, and it had good flavor. Beef was underwhelming & definitely not cooked to order. The chicken was good. The green beans on the side were canned, and not what I'd expect on a $20 plus lunch plate. Fresh would be great, and frozen would have at least had some color. Good place and fun menu.
Me and my friends were craving Greek cuisine and while in the area, we decided to check this place out this past Sunday around 2:45 pm. The restaurant has a light and bright heated patio, and the dining room was decorated very nicely with mementos of Greece, as well as a mural of Santorini. We were the only diners there, and the service was lackluster at most. The food was amazing as we ordered the Saganaki flaming cheese along with the hummus topped with shawarma chicken for appetizers, and they were yummy!! We also ordered the Avgolemono soup which was velvety and lemony!! We ordered the salmon with the creamy butter sauce and a Greek salad with souvlaki chicken. Our entrees rook what seemed like forever to arrive, and we could hear some sort of confusion from the kitchen. Because we were pressed for time, I had to eat my salad super quick, and we had the salmon dish boxed to go. Our drinks were never refilled, and the server was completely aloof the whole time. While the food was top notch, the service was unfortunately lacking.
service was fine!! But the food was so rancid. It tasted like it had been sitting in old oil. Made my family and I sick to our stomachs. Don’t eat here :( doesn’t even taste like greek
I've always loved Café Medi, though they are pricier than the great place on Brown Trail near Harwood. I have often made a meal of their kibbeh or areyes - delicious! However, the kibbeh used to be served with five of them, and priced around $10. About a week ago I ordered kibbeh to go. It contained only THREE kibbeh and cost $15.25! The price on their website is $10.95. Of course, everything is more expensive, but it's a real ripoff on that dish, and I'll be more inclined to go elsewhere.
