The perfect place for a leisurely outdoor Patio lunch on a sunny Spring day. Even near closing no one hurries you off.The food is delicious, the wait staff friendly and attentive. The salad bar offers a variety, all fresh, quiche tasty, burgers excellent and all important freshly made iced tea. Everything made with care and an emphasis on quality for a good price.Sit down and enjoy a lunch or breakfast, it won't disappoint.

Menu has a good variety of options. The muesli is very fruity but good! Waffle was toasty and fluffy. Nice big mountain cafe (eclectic) ambiance. Food comes quick, check comes slow. Dogs welcome on the big well-shaded patio.

Tommy's currently just does take-out. Follow him on FB and order ahead for pickup of delicous, homemade, gourmet meals for a fair price. He is a Swiss chef who loves to feed you, and also has items in the freezer such as entrees, soups, burritos, breads, and sometimes other things.

I really enjoyed eating here 😁😋. It was 2-3 years ago and I remember climbing stairs to get to the rest room 😄 it was quant and clean. Don't remember what I ate im thinking 🤔 hamburger as someone told me they had the best in the mountain 🏔️. It must have been good 👍 or knowing me I would have written a bad review. Service was good and patio dining is ok with a dog 🐕 most of idyllwild is dog friendly after all the mayor is a DOG 🐶

Bravo! What a thoroughly delightful experience we had recently at Tommy's Kitchen, which I consider as a cool establishment that feels a bit of a culinary utopia up in the bucolic Idyllwild mountains. This restaurants' Sunday brunch is the best I've ever had, which boasts a fresh combination of American thoroughfare hand-in-hand with French European delight! I found the variety to choose from to be a refined, well-curated selection... and major HATS OFF to the chef for not only the most delicious food but for a wide variety of options for us patrons, as well. There was so much to choose from and everything was exquisitely appointed...and equally exquisitely tasty! Even the eggs were special and not overlooked as a compulsory culinary selection: buttery, well-seasoned and fluffy. My absolute favorite, though, was the fresh salmon spread, with each slice so generously and perfectly presented. It surely prompted me to take on a second helping of them! I'm simply wowed by their style of preparation of everything! The waitresses were also so friendly, as well as the fellow patrons...it felt like a special communal experience, especially sitting in the well-covered al-fresco seating that feels like someone's large deck, with live music, in tow. It was very welcoming, homely and comfortable. We left feeling really grateful for the experience. We will be back!

Just the cutest outdoor patio and really delicious food. I had the special for lunch that day which was a fish sandwich with this incredible apple slaw! Large enough portion to take home and a bowl of hot homemade chicken soup on the side. Outstanding. Fantastic friendly staff.

Food is good! The best burger in Idyllwild can be ordered here! Also really like waffle cut potatoes on the side. We love the Sunday brunch too. Worth the price. You'll especially love it if you have a sweet tooth as lots of little fresh baked pastries and desserts are included with the buffet.

We finally made it to Tommy's after years of coming up to Idyllwild and had a fantastic lunch today. They were short staffed so the wait was fairly long to get our order placed, but it was quick to come out from the kitchen. The burger was probably the best we've had in Idyllwild and the truffle fries were fantastic. We loved the atmosphere of the patio with a ton of sails for cover. They're only open right now from 11-2 Mon-Fri.

Excellent food by very kind people! I've had the pastrami sandwich, beef stroganoff, Sennen Roesti, French toast and eggs, as well as Sunday Brunch. Everything has been great and they have a cozy shaded patio.

My husband and I both enjoyed our food. The hamburger and sandwich were both delicious. They also have a changing table in their restroom. The waitress was nice and the guests were also patient with our little 4 month old.

Truly a fantastic place. Staff were all very friendly, helpful without being overbearing and answered questions about the menu. They seemed genuinely pleased at how much we liked it. The cream of barley soup was outstanding! Add a bit of live acoustic guitar music and a dog-friendly deck with sheepskin chair covers to take the chill off, and you've got a recipe for a perfect brunch spot.

We're from Vegas and the food on this spectacular Buffett was the best ever. Live music and bottomless mimosas. What an exciting way to start the day.

The brunch was perfection, there is nothing they don't have and bottomless mimosa's in at least 15 flavors. I did Hibiscus and it was lovely. Terry Jo played and sang in a beautiful Joni Mitchell vibe. And honestly one of the highlights was they exceptional care given by all staff members, thank you all! And last enjoy the puppies allowed on the patio. Thank you Tommy's for a beautiful Anniversary Brunch!🥰

We ordered the take home Christmas dinner and it was excellent. I didn't really know what to expect but it all came together very nicely, with prime rib, scalloped potatoes, creamed corn, and a French onion soup that was to die for. Oh, and a moose parfait that was just great. Highly recommend trying the take home dinners.

We had the most delicious, positive, uplifting experience here yesterday when we visited for Sunday brunch. Let’s start with the warmth of the welcome. And then the mellow vibe on a breezy, sun-dappled deck, lovely live music in the background. The buffet itself was amazing—from amazing breakfast treats, to salmon, to salad bar to an array of desserts. And the servers: fun, friendly, patient. Run, don’t walk. Really the best restaurant all around on the Hill.

Tommy's is open for take out dinner meals! Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and some Sundays. The weekly menu is posted on Facebook. Usually text our order in same day at noon. Pick up is between 4:45-6pm. Usually 20 bucks for the full meal. Half of the time they are enough for two people. We've been ordering Weekly for awhile now and every meal has been phenomenal! We sometimes order extra and freeze it. Containers store nicely. And lastly, if you're lucky enough to order on salted caramel ice cream, its honestly some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Zero question! Highly recommend everything here!

A wide variety of breakfast dishes to choose from, or have all, and desserts. Mimosas refilled all for $25 per person. Loved it there. So happy I chose to try Tommy's. They also have had made items for sale from local artists.

Not only were the salad and entrée fresh and delicious and big enough for two, but we also received a sampler with four (!) smaller portions of high-quality desserts. Each and every one was on-point, and big enough to get two nice bites for each of us. Try to plan getting a meal or three from Tommy while visiting Idyllwild! I can't think of anywhere else that you can get such an absolutely amazing meal for two people under $25-. Thank you, kind sir!

This is such an adorable little restaurant to visit. Outdoor seating that is pet friendly. The staff is extremely nice and talks greatly of the cook and his dishes that he prepares. I got tommys burger with fresh fruit, the fruit wasn't the greatest but the burger was delicious

A great location to have lunch in Idyllwild. Try the French fries... so tasty. The roasted veggie sandwich was tasty but fell apart when I tried to eat it. Overall enjoyed the outdoor patio and excellent service.

Great cozy looking place. Awesome service from the staff and the food was on point. We sat on the patio area during the sunday buffet brunch and was very impress with the selections available. Only suggestion is to have some low playing background music playing.

I really enjoyed visiting Tommy's Kitchen. The location, ambience, music and service was wonderful. The chicken sandwich was good but the burger my husband and breakfast bar my children had was delicious! I will return and order something different ( burger or breakfast☺) and will most likely rate it 5 stars! Worth returning.

Cute place, friendly staff but not great food I'm sorry to say. We came here because of the 4.7 star rating on Google and its a cute place and we really wanted to like it. The staff is very friendly and nice but my husband asked for mayonnaise for his Turkey sandwich three times and never got it. I finally got up myself, went inside and just got the bottle for him and four servers were around that i asked and yet still had to get it myself. And I'll mention that the sandwich was just mediocre to begin with. I had the tomato basil soup that tasted like sauce for a pasta. There are other places we will try in Idyllwild this 4th of July holiday weekend.

The service was good, but the food didn't impress us. There were no condiments on our sandwiches; 3 of us got the turkey swiss sandwich on toasted sourdough. There was no mayo, aoli, mustard on them at all. Two of the orders used the dipping sauce for their fries on the sandwich. Another person in our party ordered a hamburger, she ate 1/2 and noticed it was almost raw in the center, so she didn't finish it....

Disappointed in our dining experience. Food was just OK for a buffet. Lots of flies and it deterred us from trying more. Some of the food was good other has been sitting for awhile and not very warm. I love that Idyllwild is a pet friendly town but when dogs are barking non stop from the table next to you it’s not a great experience. Would have been nice to see the dog owner take control or remove the dogs. Staff maybe could have said something but that may be unrealistic. Just not a satisfying experience.

All the food was cold. The mimosas were super sugary. The biscuits were as hard as a rock! Definitely not worth $35/person!! The best thing about the brunch was Terry Jo, the live entertainment.

This is not open, I walked all the way there bc it is supposedly open but the guy outside said they no longer offer dining.. maybe he just does to go? Either way this is something that should be changed in google maps :/

Had a good burger first time next time 💯 kitchen nightmare asked burger to be medium was well done like shoe leather. Next first time had mushrooms next time almost no mushrooms. This is supposed to be Idyllwild’s best restaurant. Nasty 🤮. Stay away salad bar looked unappealing as well!!.. fruit with burger was dry and absolutely gross!!!.. fries 🍟 are nasty 🤢..
