Opiniones de Osteria da Bea Imperia
In less than 24 hours in Imperia, my friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch, a little skeptical because it looked like a typical touristy spot on the beach, but it wasn't. It was touristy, yes, even though it was October, but still with super-fair prices, a very varied à la carte menu, and the option of choosing from a variety of combination dishes. We opted for the fish menu for convenience, which, given the quantity and quality of the products offered, many other restaurants (here in the north) would have beaten. It's a very nice and family-friendly place; the only downside for some people might be the somewhat noisy atmosphere, the presence of pigeons, and insects, which unfortunately can't be helped. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Imperia, perhaps trying a different type of dish.
A very nice restaurant right on the old marina in Imperia (Oneglia). The two of us were there for dinner without a reservation and received a very warm welcome. We were offered a seat outside. A very lovely and inviting ambiance awaits you both inside and out. Not too loud, cozy, romantic, and elegant. Everything is clean and tidy. Outside, you sit under large, bright umbrellas surrounded by trellises with plants. There are small lamps with dim lighting on the tables. The menu is straightforward, which we like! The wine list is very extensive. We received very friendly and prompt service. They asked if everything was OK and if it tasted good. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. We ordered water, Aperol Spritz, Frittura Mista, and Tiramisu. A large basket of bread was placed on the table at the beginning. You could taste the high-quality ingredients used, and the garlic mayonnaise was homemade. The food was fantastic. The prices are absolutely reasonable! I can't understand some of the negative reviews at all!!! We would have even paid more for what we were offered, and neither the chef nor the waiters were unfriendly. Quite the opposite! That's why we also gave an extra tip in addition to the usual 10%. We would normally have paid €77 for everything, but we gave €80. If we ever travel to Imperia again, we will visit this restaurant again and will definitely recommend it. Our only criticism is that the main course could have been a bit warmer, but maybe that's the way it's meant to be? Thank you for the lovely, enjoyable evening at Osteria da Bea. Take a look at the pictures. I think they say more than a thousand words.
The most refined restaurant at the port. The usual Brandacujun had its kick. The mixed seafood was fried very well. Worth coming back to try the fried anchovies starter - the ones in the mixed fries was great. The tagliatelle al ragu di fassona were great too. It's rare to have both fish and meat dishes done well in the same place.
An excellent dinner, with courteous and welcoming service (I had booked the night before and wasn't able to show up, nor even let them know due to time constraints and lack of signal. I called the next day, apologizing and booking for the same evening. Upon arrival, the owner was welcoming and friendly, and had left us the table from the night before). The dinner was excellent, with excellent appetizers and a good first course. The fried food was fantastic. We had come for the fish, but the desserts were also truly fantastic and worth a visit.
Fresh fish only
It was a good experience, food was nice , staff was really nice, Hosni was really kind
Amazing restaurant ! Dishes are nicely decorated, taste is just outstanding, fast and attentive service, Italian crowd. Interior is cozy (candles, decorations, soft music …). Price for the whole baked seabass with vegetables Ligurian style 20€(!!!). Probably the best restaurant in Imperia 👌🏻
We had our wedding dinner at Osteria da Bea. The owner, Giuseppe and the waiters were amazing. Giuseppe was professional and kept us informed throughout. Even up to the last minute, regarding weather conditions and dining outside or inside. The food was delicious. Seasonal, regional produce that was prepared well. The wine selection complimented the menu very well. The tables were tastefully decorated. The location is beautiful and overlooks the harbour of oneglia. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable.
Friendly staff, very good and fresh food.
The place has a sea view and is very welcoming. We ate outside. The dishes were very good and carefully prepared. We also had the mille-feuille (recommended by friends who have been there before), which was very good. The service is a 3 out of 5 because they threw the menu on the table for us, as well as the dessert menu.
Nice little seafood restaurant on the waterfront, where there's a wide selection of restaurants. We're a local crowd here, and if you want reasonably good food, it's fine. We had tagliolini with seafood sauce, which was decent, and a tuna steak with a lovely artichoke cream, which I'd also call "fair." The desserts, especially the tart, are very good. Helpful staff, the owner has always been here. Prices are moderately high, and I notice a lot of foreigners as customers. Would I go back? Yes, they do the right thing, done well.
If you like fish this is a good restaurant to go to. Around €30 a head with a glass of wine each, starter & main, no dessert. Decor is Maison de mondeo chic, and the clientele is 30 plus / mature. Recommend.
Most recommended: cozze a la corsara! Friendly waiters, the cook ( and baker ) is very friendly and most welcoming
this's a high rank restaurant despite its understatement appearance plenty of choice among sea foods and meats with a touch of originality in every receipt personell is kindly without any doubts an…
A good selection of local food. Good Polpo con patate but not the Brandacujun. Service left to not expert people was cahotic.
The tables were well decorated and also the restaurant. The food wasn‘t good, it was bland and small portioned. I had the „filetto di manzo“ with mashed potatoes, had to put pepper and salt to enjoy it a little.. prices too high for what you get.
It was ok for a quick bite. Unfortunately it is right on one of the Genoa Port's concrete docks. So nothing to see other than concrete. Staff were not very friendly, Said they didn't speak any English or French. No menus in any other language except Italian. Forget QR code enable online menus offered by other restaurants! Food was passable. I had a salad caked in mayonnaise. Restaurant wasn't particularly suitable for children either. Offers only coke and Fanta for the kids. Be careful as they don't offer tap water free..Instead they tried to sell us a huge 1.5 litre glass bottle of still water! Compared to France where chilled tap water is offered free). This restaurant charged 3 euro per person service charge!? What service??
Staff don’t smile and we don’t feel welcome! Very expensive for nothing in the plate. We are leaving and are still starving! I don’t recommand !
