Great spot for large groups. I went as part of a couple of meetup groups on a Tuesday evening in January. They had taco specials going on - 2 tacos and a beer for 10 bucks which was a great deal. The patio space is nice and heated. The tacos were pretty tasty. Also have a separate room with glass walls which is a bit quieter. Lots of groups of people hanging out and playing games too. Great spot to socialize.

We stopped by this brewery to kill a bit of time and grab a quick snack—not expecting much, just something casual. With so many microbreweries popping up, we were curious to see what this one had to offer. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. What really stood out was the food menu—way more than typical bar snacks. Their BBQ caught our eye, and we’re already planning to come back just to try it. I’m not much of a beer drinker, so my wife sampled a flight of their craft brews while I went with their house-made seltzer. To our surprise, everything we tried was genuinely delicious. The staff was friendly and upbeat, even during a bit of a rush. They handled the crowd efficiently, and the positive energy never dipped. One thing I found especially interesting was that they distill their own hard liquor on-site, so cocktails are also an option—a nice bonus. Plus, they’re dog-friendly, which earns extra points in our book. This place has a laid-back vibe, great drinks, and solid food. Whether you’re a beer lover or not, it’s a spot worth checking out—and we’ll definitely be back.

The food here is really good! It's a bit on the pricey side, but it *is* more of an upscale bbq place, so you be the judge if it feels worth it. The pretzel bites are fantastic-- so good I almost forgot to take a photo until I was done! The Mac and cheese with brisket was good but I'm not sure it felt worth an extra $7 to add the brisket. I'll try something else next time I got the Hard Seltzer Strawberry Lemonade and it was pretty refreshing on a hot day! My partner had the Asylum but he felt it was a bit too hot for a triple that day. We'll have to come back when it's not like 100 degrees outside to give it another shot.

Left Coast is one of the few breweries in Irvine—and easily the best! They offer a great variety of alcoholic beverages, including beer, seltzers, and cocktails. Their food is a step above typical bar fare, with generous portions at reasonable prices. One thing I always order without fail is their cornbread—at just $3.99, it’s an absolute steal! I’ve never had a bad experience here. Plus, they’re dog-friendly, and I love seeing all the pups hanging out. Be sure to check out their Instagram for fun events! On our last visit, they had magicians going table to table performing tricks, which made for such a fun night. Can’t wait to come back!

First time to this location and we were impressed. Luckily we got there just before the crowds. Beers were solid and the food exceeded expectations. Definitely coming back.

Five stars from me. Our local brewery, one mile from our place. Simple hangout, good for meeting friends and visitors. Beer is good, food is good, ambience good. Nothing to not like here. They serve seltzer and cocktails, no wine. They also distill their own spirits.

A really fun spot with a giant beer selection! The prices of the beer are quite reasonable and I was drowning in options. I tried their Blonde and their Mexican Lager. The Blonde was not my favorite but the Lager, Vista Hermosa, was super delicious and they let me keep the glass it came in! The food here was truly stellar. The best item on the menu is easily the burnt brisket tips appetizer! I also recommend the chili, as long you don't mind spiciness! There are vegan, turkey, and biescuit chili options. Overall, check this spot out for any amazing bite and a good beer.

What a nice spot for a Brewery in Irvine. Left Coast hit it out of the park. They match a good location with a large floor plan for not just a brewery but a barbecue joint. Combining great beer with barbecue is a great joint effort. I loved the beer selection. “Uno Mas” is my favorite. I ate the pull pork sandwich was so tasty. I could the staff to be friendly and informative they helped and made a long line go fast. The Resturant itself was large with an indoor outdoor area that uses a large garage door to keep the area open. The outside had ample shade and the ac worked to keep it very pleasant even with the door open and the temperature at 84. I highly recommend you stop by and give West Coast some Love! Great Beer and Great Food in a south Orange County location is amazing.

A great place for both beer and BBQ sandwiches. The inside seating is usually pretty load, but not loud enough to interfere with conversation. The outdoor seats are more comfortable and quieter.

Just a solid local brewery. Friendly staff, a ton for different beer options, and great weekly events for patrons. If you want good brewery vibes, you can't go wrong here.

Left Coast Rocks! The food, the craft brews and spirits, dog friendly atmosphere, and the staff are what make this place one of my favorite spots in OC! The brisket sliders, and the fried chicken salad are my personal faves. They recently got a frozen drink machine, and the frozen cocktails do not disappoint! The hurricane has the perfect balance of flavor - sweet but not too sweet - and very refreshing after a day in the sun :) If you’re a fan of FromSoft games, you should definitely swing by to check out their cool statues and grab a bite ;P Shout out to Amanda, Matt, Bekah, Erin, Jazmin and the kitchen staff for always providing A+ service (sorry if I missed anyone from ‘the day shift’ because you are all awesome)!

Fantastic beer and food. I really enjoyed the trestles IPA, and tried to burnt ends which way fantastic not overly grizzly sweet with a little spice at the end. it's a fun somewhat loud atmosphere, a few video games to keep the kids entertained while we drink our beer, oh they also have a full cocktail menu too.

Nice having a brewery in our area! Food is surprisingly good!! Food averages $14; so not really cheap, but quality is good. That said, I wouldn't recommend the turkey chili. Sorry, but reminded me of dog food. LOL! I would recommend the kale salad with smoked chicken (like eating beef jerky for the intense flavor) and the Ruben. You can't go wrong with their beer selection and cocktails! They also have daily specials. Plenty of spacious seating both indoors and outdoors. Would recommend this place to others looking for a fun, laid back vibe.

Best brewery around this area. You can taste varieties of beers and it has a good ambiance to Chill out with friends and family. Service could be improved 👍

Cool vibe, not cool ordering as you have to stand in line to order and return to the line for refills on drinks. Food was so so for me (but it might depend on what you order! I got the Smokehouse Salad—was fairly weak in my opinion and the chicken was cold, hard, and very dry. They were kind enough to remake it with pork, which was very saucy and I had to tan the salad up to the counter to get help. I think for the prices and tip expectations, there should be more service provided. Parking is free in a large lot, however it’s shared with many other businesses and can be very difficult to find a spot during busy times. Idk if I’d return other than if there’s a group event at this place.

Update: I redid my review after they severely downgraded the quality of their food. It was great for opening, but now is pretty garbage overall. Check out the Orange County Register review for details. Please see my pictures for the differences in the brisket alone. New location! Food we had: Brisket sandwich - 1/5 (formerly 5/5): it was great during launch week but now it's plain awful. Tastes like nothing. I'd bet a fortune that it's not 75 hour smoked like they claim. Mine was brown the whole way through and smoked brisket should have a good degree of pink from the smoke. The bun had more flavor than the brisket, and they're now using less than half the amount of brisket than they did near opening. Pulled pork sandwich - 2/5 (formerly 3/5): Dry, tastes only of BBQ sauce. Pork belly burnt ends - 3/5 (formerly 5/5): They taste pretty good, but nowhere near how they did during opening week. They gave us 5 small pieces, which were each significantly less than a bite each. This is about 1/5 of what we were served during opening week. Corn bread - 4.5/5: really good corn bread, plenty sweet without being overpowering. Not dry at all. Did not change between opening week and now. Ribs - 2/5 Disappointing. Cooked to the point of being dry. Hopefully just a new restaurant mistake. Update: not a new restaurant mistake, they're just bad. The beer was really good overall, nothing to dislike about everything my group tried, which was most of them. However, the barrel aged offerings were very expensive compared to other local breweries, at $11.50 for an 8oz. The barrel aged Asylum was my favorite beer of the night, but at that price I'll probably get something else in the future. The location itself is outstanding. Lots of room, lots of tables, large bar, plenty of parking, beautiful interior, and really close to the Irvine Spectrum and OC Great Park. Update: we probably won't be back too often now because of the incredibly disappointing changes to the food.

Really could be a cool spot but it ended up being just fine. They have a solid beer collection with something for everyone. But the line moves super duper slow. We went on a Sunday afternoon which was maybe busier than they’re used to and with only one bartender it felt like we waited forever. We sat outside which wasn’t super clean and full of ants on the counter from the previous guests. Pricing is pretty fair, which is a plus. We were in the area for a comedy show and would come back if specifically in that situation again hut otherwise wouldn’t venture all the way here for.

While this place is technically a "brewery", the vibe is more like Chuck E Cheese, minus the fun games. Seriously. There were LOTS of kids running around (we discovered later that there was a kids' softball group there), and the overhead lights were cranked up to "high"; the 3 menus we used were completely sticky (they are laminated and available when guests walk in), and the tables that weren't occupied were not cleared (nor did they get cleared while we waited; this didn't seem to bother the groups of young teenagers, however, who sat down there to visit). We ended up on the patio, which has a fire pit. As others have mentioned, guests order at the counter and the food is delivered to the table. There is a decent selection of beer; soft drinks are self-serve. The menu has a variety of options, including "bar food" (onion rings, soft pretzels, etc.), salads and sandwiches. We ordered two salads: the Chopped Kale was quite good, with several toppings and excellent dressing; the Smokehouse was fresh, but the grilled meat gave the salad a weird, slightly burned taste. We like kids and we like going to restaurants that cater to families. If you're looking for a neighborhood place where the local kids' soccer teams can hang out after a match, then Left Coast Brewing Company is a good option. If you're looking for a typical brewery with a more adult vibe, this definitely is not it. .

Used to be one of my Favorite places ! Got brisket and brussel sprouts and French fries. Fries were very good. Brisket ok but very fatty (not well trimmed). Brussel sprouts were really bad. Sauces and sprouts tasted old and not good. Beer was even worse. Little foam, poor flavor. Everything just tasted not fresh. Won’t go back unfortunately.

Terrible management. How do you have 1 bartender on a Saturday and send a customer who has already spent $30+ on a meal back in a 25 min line just to buy a beer. I’m out, you just lost an 8 top of orders for the next 2 hours. Congratulations. 👏👏 you'll be out of business by the end of the year. plenty of other, over priced options then your establishment. I go to breweries a lot, and usually have a great time. Been here multiple times and literally every time I’ve been here they seem to lose my food order and it takes forever to get my food. I usually end up having to get it to go since the rest of my party is finished and ready to go. I’ve ordered different things each time with the same result. Never giving this place another dollar, improve your processes or your people.
