Opiniones de The Lost Bean Irvine
absolute favorite place ever !! i come here religiously and it feels so homey , the baristas always remember my name and it makes me feel special and happy which is a good feeling when you’re spending money there everyday lol! i genuinely never been to a coffee shoppe where my order is consistent with the same quality flavor, hence why i come everyday. the environment is perfect for extrinsic motivation bc so many ppl come here to study!
Lost Bean at Woodbridge Center sounds like a fantastic spot to grab a specialty coffee in Irvine. It's great to know that you can experience the same taste around Orange County. The combination of enjoying a delicious coffee and strolling around the lake area sounds like a perfect way to spend some time.☕️🏞️
Love the vibe! Location is fantastic - grab your cup of preferred coffee/tea/green drink (green goddess is my fav!) And enjoy the surroundings of the Woodbridge Village Center and view of the North lake. Very relaxing. The food is also delicious - we tend to stay light - the avocado toast (sharable) or the veggie wrap are our go-tos. Either way, great service, place and location! Tip: If you are in a hurry - order on line and pick up.
The coffee is always great here. The Colombian drip coffee from this morning was smooth and delicious. I also love the pastries and food here. The oatmeal bar is so good, it's like eating an extra long cookie. I've been coming here for years and the quality and service has always been exceptional.
Express seating option, good lighting, charging stations, friendly staff (who flag you down if you forget to take your change lmao), decent coffee, fast service. Just a little cold but that’s probably just me. Not the cheapest coffee ever but also not obnoxious, and for having strong WiFi, I’m more than happy to pay up. Just beware it can get SO crowded
The staff is very friendly. The smoothies are super tasty. The coffee had a bit too acidic note for me. The space is popular so it can get crowded.Overal a nice place to enjoy your drink and relax a bit.The muffins on the other hand are not worth the calories.
Want to give a shout to Nathan! Makes a dope latte! And the vibe here awesome 😎
Great coffee, excellent service. The staff and management at Lost Bean do an excellent job, are very polite and friendly. Certainly my favorite coffee shop in OC. I highly recommend a visit!
This is literally my very first Google review - I love the Lost Bean so much that I feel like I must write a review for it! This is my go-to place for whole coffee beans. I almost solely drink lattes and make my own espresso at home. The lattes in the cafe are okay but the beans are just phenomenal. I am a dark roast person and absolutely recommend their Decaf beans and the recent 20-year anniversary beans!! Both are very easy to dial in, rich and smooth. The decaf beans have noticeable caramel taste which I love so much. The anniversary beans have all the flavors described in the package incredibly blended together, creating a very silky, smooth, balanced overall flavor and texture. It is So GOOD! I don’t usually go for something that says smoky but the smokiness in there actually makes it taste good! Not sure how long they would supply the anniversary beans and I hope they will forever! Their regular espresso triple blend is okay and harder to dial in, though. Overall, I highly recommend trying their beans out if you like making your own coffee. You get a free cup of drip coffee with purchase of each bag of beans too. Although many times they forgot to make the free cups for me, especially in busy hours.
Needed some coffee this afternoon so searched for an organic coffee place and found this little spot. It seems like the place to be if you want to use your laptop computer as almost every single table was taken by people computing. I tried their latte and the coffee was really really good! This also seems like a good spot to go if you have kids as it is right next the the kids playground. I would come back for more coffee here and would recommend their coffee. I also like that the coffee is organic!
Cute little coffee shop with a fair amount of seating both indoor and outdoor. One of the few places where you will find yourself able to find a seat. Prices and coffee is good for the area - with friendly staff to boot
Line was long but moved quickly. Very nice area near the lake with tons of outdoor public seating. The Zebra latte was so good! The tomato basil quiche was also very impressive. I think about it often.
Coffee is exceptional, they use their own roast, service is friendly, place is cozy, but they need to provide better barista training, coffee will arrive beautiful more often :). They are getting better every time I am coming :))) which is every day as I drop my child at camp and go to have some coffee and some work done
Super popular place on a Sunday morning. They have a huge coffee menu with multiple specialty items and a decent food menu for breakfast and lunch. The indoor seating was totally filled, but there are plenty of places to sit outdoors. 4 stars for service only because it took a while to receive our order. Everyone there is super pleasant.
I'm so sad I'll be moving specifically due to this place. The servers are so nice, and even know my name! Every time I leave or come, the waiter (whom's name I think is Lord) always goes "Hi, Austin!" and knows my order, as well as holding up a conversation with me, which always brightens up my day. It's a great spot to study and do work, as the environment is very nice. My only issue is that there aren't a lot of seats, and a lot of times you have to sit outside. Otherwise, I love this place and would highly recommend it! Their coffee's are the bomb, and their hot chocolate is quite the charm.

The Lost Bean in Irvine is an absolute gem for coffee lovers! Their latte is the standout—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with a velvety texture that shows they really know their craft. Even when it's busy, the friendly staff provides incredibly fast service, making it the perfect stop whether you’re lounging or on the go. The location is super convenient with ample parking, so you never have to circle for a spot. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting with plenty of seating to get work done. While the outdoor seating is a bit limited, the overall vibe is fantastic. It’s easily one of the best spots in the area for high-quality coffee and a welcoming environment!
The best coffee in the world. I go there every morning with my dog and the staff is just amazing. Would give more stars if possible. 😍 Highly recommend going whether you want to hang out, get work done, or just grab a quick coffee. Wish they had more options in their bakery but the coffee is so good I rarely think about it. This is my first time leaving a review but I simply had to for this amazing place!
I stopped by this morning for coffee — and it was absolutely heavenly! ☕️💛 But what impressed me even more was the kindness of the staff. I accidentally left my bag there and didn’t realize until later in the afternoon. I went back to all the places I had been earlier and couldn’t find it… until I returned here — and the girls had kept it safe for me! Thank you so much for the amazing coffee and for having such warm and caring people working there ❤️
The lost bean is my absolute favorite coffee shop to start day with! The coffe is very good quality and the staff are so friendly and awesome!! 10/10 definitely recommend 😋 Even my dog refuses to pass by without getting her pup cup 😄

Came to spend some time doing work and it's a great option. The service is so so friendly. Really only ordered an iced tea but even this was tastier than normal versions (Hawaiin black tea?). There are a ton of seating options, especially for someone like me who was looking to spend some time and found a booth with a plug (there are plugs everywhere). The location is what I think really sells it. It's located in such an adorable plaza that affords itself so many options for studying. Parking is super easy. One thing I'll say is that the WiFi didn't work the best.
It was my first time here ever. Good coffee and decent food. It's a cute coffee place that I thought was tucked away in a relatively busy place. It was busy when I came in but I was still able to find a place to sit. Atmosphere seems good and all the workers were nice. I would come here again if I'm in the area.
A small hidden away coffee shop with sweet syrups and quick service. Adjacent to a very nice little walk around Woodbridge pond. A perfect coffee stop, or place to chit chat with a friend, but although the food is fine it is just shy of good. Prices are also a little on the higher side, with added syrups being 75 cents to the cost of the latte over the average 45-55 cents at other similar coffee shops
Cute little cafe nestled in the corner of the shopping center. Very good coffee, I purchased a bag of Colombia Single Origin beans and received a free 12 oz cup of coffee. Nice and smooth, not too strong and great with cream. The breakfast burrito was okay, nothing special. It was expensive and they charged an extra $1.00 for peppers, and then another $1.00 for tomatoes making for a grand total $13.25! Great service, friendly staff and fast service. We walked over but plenty of parking is available. Seating indoors and out, but limited outdoor space.
The Lost Bean has a nice vibe, and the espresso is smooth and rich, just like I like it. The place is cozy, but it can get crowded sometimes, and service can be hit or miss depending on when you go. It’s a solid spot if you’re looking for a good espresso but nothing extraordinary.
The coffee was pretty good, it tasted almost perfectly extracted, more on the side of over extracted. The lavender syrup wasn’t too strong in flavor or sweetness, it really balanced out the espresso. My rating is lower most mostly because of the food. For the cost of the food I I was expecting something with more flavor. Everything was extremely bland, even the made to order scrambled eggs. If I didn’t have the condiments that they provided, Tapatio, it would’ve been even more disappointing. All the food was just extremely bland. The area is super cute and very kid friendly. There was plenty of parking in the morning. The staff wasn’t rude, but they also were not welcoming. It seems like a couple of them were bickering between each other, which happens, but keep it in the kitchen where it’s out of earshot from your customers. Would I come here again? Yes, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for breakfast and coffee, possibly just coffee.
Came here on a Saturday morning. The food was good but a little pricey. Most of the tables were taken up by people just sitting and using their electric devices. The best part of the whole experience is there's no wait!
This is the 3rd The Lost Bean store I've visited. Located inside the Woodbridge village center with plenty of sittings available and free wifi. In addition to the usual breakfast sandwich and flat white which I normally order from the other Lost Bean store, this time also tried their chia pudding as well. Everything is good and consistent. Likely to come back again and recommend others as well.

Below average product for the price. Everything else is great though. Location is in a cozy shopping center near the lake.

First time here! No place to sit inside as most seats are occupied by people with laptops. We sat outside. The cappuccinos are good. The lady taking the order kept asking what we want to order and when we gave her the two caps order she only got one! So on and so on! There’s a playground in front of the outside patio with many kids playing. Not exactly the most peaceful place to sit and enjoy your coffee. But overall ok.
Their coffee is usually good and their beans are great to take home, but the food is disappointing. This sandwich was $14 and as other reviews say, had no flavor. The sausage was very dry and only tasted like pepper. It wouldn’t cost them much to add more to the sandwich or use better ingredients to make the price seem worth it. Edit- took off one more star after finishing the sandwich.
I ordered a chai latte and breakfast sandwich this morning. My first time at The Lost Bean, the staff was very friendly and even went to ask the kitchen if they had other options for cheese for the breakfast sandwich I was ordering. The chai latte I got wasn’t good at all. Just tastes like water with spice and the breakfast sandwich was very bland- no seasoning.
I only ordered latte today and it was “A ok”. Not bad but nothing special. I used to go to their first shop in Tustin. I stop going there because the quality of service went down. We waited 30min for my sandwich that were already in the case and they just needed to heat up. I had to tell my friend to go ahead and eat her food—I finally got my food after she finished her’s. Space was ok too. They should clean their window..it was very dirty and art work on the wall was tilted. This doesn’t have anything to do with coffee? I think it does. Little things matters when it comes to food and drink preparation. Most seating were occupied by students with laptop except couch. If the weather is good the mall has nice outside seating with pretty good view of manmade lake.

It's been very sad watching this place go downhill over the years. The first casualty was the chai latte, which used to be the best in the area but now is consistently watery and lacking. Next was the drip coffee, which again used to be amazing but now is sour and underbrewed. Now even the matcha lattes are just bleh. Definitely in need of a recipe refresh. I never thought I'd be going to Sessions for coffee instead.
I like the ambience for studying, but their drinks always disappoint me. Their chai concentrate is far more spicy than it should be, and lacks a good chai flavor. Their matcha is very watery and gray.
I used to like this place. But because of something I felt frustrated, so I stopped to buy coffee at this place. It takes longer to make the order than before. Even when there is a long line, other staff doesn't help but chat (their working time may be done?) I understand there is an online order. But ... the other guy came in to pay after me. But his order came out before mine. He looks a regular thats why? but... is it right?! Or did I misunderstand? I love food and drinks. Their menus are pretty good but this place is no longer the place I used to like.
Staff is friendly, vibe is great! Unfortunately, baristas don’t know how to make a good cup of coffee. I ordered a latte, it was way too hot, and espresso was both watery and bitter. No fragrance.
Everytime we go here, there is nowhere to sit, they offer this out as a free office rental space. Where you can bring your laptop your additional screens, and spend $2 in coffee and sit there for 9 hours on a 4 person table
I ordered a caramel macchiato and a scone. The coffee was great, not too bitter, but a little too sweet. The scone was horrible. The flavor was supposed to be strawberry lemonade but honestly I can’t tell if I was handed the right scone because the thing tasted nothing like either of those. It really didn’t have much flavor at all. It must have been stale because it was incredibly difficult to break apart and bite. It was very busy but the shop has a very nice ambiance. Great seating to do work and looked like a good amount of outlets. The girl taking orders seemed way too stressed out and had to stop me a couple times during my order so she could hand off food or answer questions from random people walking up. I probably wouldn’t come back, but perhaps it was just an off day for them.

No strawberry syrup in strawberry iced matcha order
They got my coffee order wrong, and then when they gave it to me remade, I asked for a lid as I saw a stack of lids behind the counter. They then told me to “go around the corner to get a lid”. I had my work bag and food bag in my hands and when I went there was a guy in a wheel chair and tons of people blocking so I went back and asked again for a lid from the front, they told me again to go around the corner, I then pointed to the lids behind the counter and asked if they could just give me one because it’s crowded and I have a lot of things in my hands. Instead of handing me a lid, the guy tossed it on the counter towards me and looked annoyed. To top it all off the coffee was not even good and the food was cold. Also when I set my bag down on the one open spot that someone had gotten out of, some customer moved my bag when I came back. Bad customer service, can’t believe they can’t just give a coffee lid seeing it was extremely busy and I had stuff in my hands. I regret the tip and will never be coming back here.
Was here on Friday, got a coffee which was okay. But while waiting I noticed that the place is dirty. The entry doors are smeared with grime, the glass at the counter is dirty and lastly the water well where they keep the stirring sticks is filthy (which they use to stir your drink). I just returned here, Saturday morning and the doors, glass, counters and water well are all still dirty. I am not ordering from here. If they can’t clean the visible areas, are they caring for your food properly?
The service is terrible. Lack of patient. Don't know how to talk to customers appropriately.
