Delicious food, friendly staff and good ambience. The group tried a variety of dishes and everything was spot on. Definitely recommended.
This place was recommended to me by a friend, and it certainly was a good one to try. Extremely friendly and kind staff, very nice and laid back vibes inside, and the food was absolutely incredible! I had the Curry Fried Rice and it was extremely delicious! Definitely worth stopping by and trying if you have the chance!
The pad thai with shrimp level III was perfect! Would recommend to tourists oe locals.
SO FREAKIN TASTYYYYY. I got the Lao papaya salad (not super sure on the difference between the Lao & Thai style is) & the combo pad see ew & a Thai iced tea. It all came out to about $35. It sounds pricy, but the portions are pretty big & I have more than half of the salad & pad see ew left. So I'm deff getting at least 2 meals out of it. I got the 3/5 spice level for both & I felt like i could've handled the 5 easily. It truly wasn't that spicy. But what it lacked in hotness, it made it up for in flavor. Ugh. I love this place now & deff coming back! Also the 2 ladies that helped us were SO kind, helpful & welcoming. Obsessed w them!! Such sweet ladies 🫶🏽
My husband & I are so glad this Laotian & Thai restaurant opened nearby. I was craving papaya salad & mango sticky rice, & they hit the spot! It was our first time trying Laotian sausage, & it was pretty good! We also got our usual pad see ew, but we’re going to come back for more! My husband & I really appreciate the self serve ordering kiosk (because we’re both introverted), yet it was pleasant knowing that the staff are pretty friendly as well.
Hands down the best Thai/Lao food in Irving in my opinion. Always the same tasty food and fast service. The older gentlemen working is always smiling and upbeat-I love it. Great new addition to Irving. The restaurant is also kept very clean which is an indication of how clean that kitchen is.
Great spot, their very spicy (4) is actually spicy and the food is fantastic. Ordered the Pad See Ew, will be back again.
I am SO glad that a laotian place opened this way. The inside is setup like their other locations and is tailored to Las Colinas. My go to order is the ZAAP combo just because my obsession of sticky rice and papaya salad stemmed from birth 😅. I have an allergy and they were very accommodating. Service is friendly and the guy will explain what the foods are if you have any questions/concerns. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. I'm personally a fan of their red or yellow curry w/ chicken outside of the combo. Parking area is shared w/ other businesses. Congrats on the new location ZAAP. 👏

The Dancing Garlic Robles with Papaya Salad was delicious, as was the Laotian Fried Rice Combo: piping hot and made to order. Thai Tea was decent, I’ve had better: and it was soooo cold in the dining area! Very friendly staff and owner.
Very good food and good service. Simple counter service. So that’s nice. Easy in and out. Food was HOT. Great flavor! I asked for zero spice level. But. It was still amazing and delicious.
A Delightful Thai Experience with Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Thai restaurant, and I must say, the food was absolutely excellent. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced — the noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of tangy tamarind sauce, crunchy peanuts, and fresh herbs. Every bite was a burst of authentic flavor that transported me straight to Thailand. The Mango Sticky Rice was equally phenomenal, with ripe, juicy mango slices paired beautifully with the creamy, subtly sweet sticky rice. It was a delightful way to end the meal. The pricing here is very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes, making it a fantastic value for money. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the amazing customer service. Our server, Lucky, was incredibly attentive and seemed to anticipate our every need before we even realized it ourselves. Whether it was refilling drinks promptly or recommending dishes, Lucky’s warm and thoughtful approach added a personal touch that made our meal even more enjoyable. Overall, this restaurant offers not just great food but also an inviting atmosphere and stellar service. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors and top-notch hospitality!
I ordered pad thai and zaap Tom kha soup. Amazing flavor and good portion. I highly recommend them.
I’ve been here twice and both times have been met with the most friendly staff and incredible food! The first time I spoke to Ubi at the front and had a conversation with him while he was getting everything ready. On the second visit I had a very similar experience with extremely friendly staff and amazing food. 5 stars isn’t enough for how great this place is! Update: the food is still great as always but I have noticed the portion size drop considerably and haven’t been going as much recently. This most recent trip my curry was just about exactly half full.

Nice and calm place. 20-25 people can sit and eat. Nice art work on walls. Foods are good . Thai Tea is very good. Pad Thai and pad kee Mao also good. Both are little bit sweet taste.

The food was freshly cooked but felt it was way overpriced and quantity not enough compared to the other Thai restaurants in the area . Also the utensils for dine in was not upto expectations. The plastic forks and spoons were of inferior quality, breaking when trying to pick meat pieces . The taste of food was good but can be improved further . Also they should have better cutlery and utensils atleast for dine in customers . Yummy Thai was closed so this place was the closest . Yummy Thai is more reasonably priced , so are the other Thai food places in the area. This is more of a grab and go place.

I had seen Zaap Kitchen advertised on Instagram quite a bit and decided to finally give it a try. It’s a counter-service restaurant with indoor seating and a menu featuring a mix of Thai and Lao dishes. For a counter-service place, the prices felt high. We ordered three dishes, and the bill came out to almost $50 without drinks. Unfortunately, the ordering experience was disappointing. The woman at the counter didn’t greet us, didn’t repeat our order, and didn’t even tell us the total—she just took the order without much acknowledgment. Since it was our first time, we wanted to order with a person instead of the kiosk, but it almost felt like we were bothering her. As for the food, my crispy rice was flavorful and enjoyable. The curry, however, was overpowering to the point where I felt it needed to be diluted. Portions also seemed small for the price. On a positive note, an older gentleman (possibly the owner) came in as we were leaving, and he was very friendly, which was a nice contrast to the service we had earlier. Overall, the food was okay, but between the high prices, small portions, and unfriendly service, this will likely be our first and last visit.
Ordered a basil stir fry with beef…barely got any beef. Paid $18 for a vegetable stir fry and a couple sad strings of beef.

Ordered Uber Eats . Asked for utensils and dipping sauce received no fork. Nothing. Larb came with a huge wedge of iceberg lettuce. The chicken pat Thai was over seasoned and soggy. the worst Thai food …don’t bother. Sad
$32.70 total with no way to add extra pineapple and cashews. They are minimal and there’s no way to request sweet and sour sauce. Too much money to like it half ass. Will not order again. Price is too high for what you get. I’ll end up throwing it away. The beef is not a good selection either. I fed it to my dogs. I’m still hungry.
Did they change their Pineapple fried rice receipt? It’s absolute horrible now. So plain, boiled chicken and no seasoning. Zaps used to be one of my all time favorites now I have to say it’s fallen to the bottom. It might be only this location. Never again!

Service was absolutely awful… I’ve never had issues with the chain but this location seemed to have an issue with me requesting a custom order on my drunken noodles. Food was okay more veggies than noodles and beef. Also maybe do face time calls in another spot other than the dining area
