This is my go to spot in the commons! The drinks by Bri (bartender) are always spot and she gives great recommendations! 2 Fish tacos and plantains plus a flan is my go to order. The guac here is perfection.

The service and food were excellent! We were passing through on a road trip and stopped here because we’d heard great things and still had a ways to go on our drive. We ordered ahead for pickup and even though it was near close the wait staff was so kind when we asked if we could eat outside with our dog. They set us up at an outdoor table and brought water and everything. We got two taco platters, empanadas and a very delicious margarita. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely be going back!

Great food, fun & friendly service! The ambiance was fine - either in the comfortable downstairs dining room & bar, or out in the open air on the sidewalk. Amazing take on ceviche and so nice to have tasting flights of very smooth tequila! My wife tried the eggplant smothered in avocados; I had a hearty steak salad. Lots of fun hot sauces and pickled veggies as a condiment bar. Enthusiastic young waiter - wish we could recall his name; he was a real asset to the restaurant.

Really great food! The place was so busy when we came in. We needed to sit at the bar while we waited for a table to open up for 20 minutes. They served us drinks at the bar and then we moved to the table to have chips and guacamole with the chicken quesadilla and two of the tacos pablanos. Overall a large of amount of food that was perfectly flavored. The staff was very nice and the seating was perfect. Hope this helps!

WOW! Whatta great find. The food menu is small but the tequila menu is 3 times the size!! With that said I am thankful for the small food menu bcuz it would have been impossible to figure out what I wanted. The food, my gosh the food...so good. If you are a tequila person, this is your new home!!! The food, the cocktails, the service made for a perfect experience. The place was so clean and all of the employees are so accommodating. We will definitely be going back and bringing family and friends with us.

Fantastic restaurant. Even on a Saturday night you won't likely have an issue getting a seat. Great selection of tacos. Everything I had was delicious, and the margaritas are great. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere inside is comfortable. Some outdoor seating available.

I've found a new favourite restaurant in Ithaca! The food here taste so good like home-cooked food you get to eat when you visit a house of a friend who really enjoys cooking. The quality of the ingredient is top-notch. The picked onions which is one among the four topping/seasonings provided on each table taste divine. It's crispy and flavorful. Such a good addition to the tacos! And the best picked onions I have had so far. I had two types of tacos. One was lamb steamed in banana and avocado leaves. (How creative and unique!) The other one was sliced beef. There was nothing wrong with the latter but the former truly stood out. I have had lamb cooked in different spices prior to this, but never with such leaves. (eg. I love those cooked with Indian spices but dislike those cooked with Moroccan spices). This way of cooking bring out the lamb's taste meanwhile decreasing the intensity of its smell to the point where it's low enough and you can appreciate it. The meat isn't spiced or seasoned in anyway, which make sense considering how tasteful the four toppings/seasonings are. Overall, the dish has managed to beautifully bring out the taste of the lamb without diminishing the toppings' greatness. It has every texture you can wish for - the thinly chewable slices of steamed lamb, the softness of the homemade tortilla wrap, the crispiness of the pickled onions, the two saucy sensation (green and red salsa), the finely chopped coriander leaves that just blend everything together, and of course, squeeze of fresh lime that awaken your taste buds. Ps. The dessert was scrumptious too! This creme brulee-like dessert is rich with orange taste. The custard is so soft - like that of pudding. This contrast perfectly with the thinly crispy caramelized top. I haven't had such a high quality dessert in a while. It was such a memorable and inspirational meal! Ps2. It was my first time there but my friend who had came here months ago recognized that they have increased the variety in the menus. Although it's now more expensive than before, the food is so good that it's definitely worthwhile. Try visiting again if you had been here long ago. They have stepped up their game!!!

Great place to eat in Ithaca. The service is friendly but slow due to crowd size. People stand near your table if you are up front while waiting for a table which can be intrusive. Food is very good. I saw the waitress use someone else's water container for another table! Wouldn't drink the water due to that. Management should address that.

We stopped for cocktails and an early dinner. We enjoyed the cocktails and chips and salsa. Our entrees, steak tacos and enchiladas were just ok, a little bland.

We went on a Sunday evening. Fresh ingredients, delicious empanadas, yummy fish tacos and too pricey margaritas. The four of us enjoyed the food however it was expensive and many items missing from the drink list.

First our serving sloshed the drinks over the rims of the glasses washing the salt off. Then we were served chips that were badly over cooked... brown and tasted a bit burnt. The pork carnitas, generally one of my favorite dishes at a Mexican restaurant, were fatty and kind of soggy. Over cooked is not a substitute for tender. Last but not least, our waiter was clearly trying to rush our meal. We were trying to enjoy our time with a friend we'd not seen in a long time, so that was annoying too.

Horrendous customer service. Overpriced average food. Haphazard atmosphere. My son and I went there last week and we got our tacos to share, we were given one plate. When I asked for another plate, the short waiter smugly said, "You'll be okay. Enjoy amigos." How lazy and dissatisfied do you have to be to not go grab a requested plate?? It wasn't busy. The food was okay but overpriced. I know they're trying to be rustic but there's actual holes in the floor. Not recommended.
