This place is a hidden gem that you can’t wait to tell everyone about..but also secretly want to keep to yourself. But I have to share a review because this restaurant is truly THE spot everyone needs to visit. The owners and staff at Ole Ole Ithaca are really what make them stand out. You can just feel how much they care about their customers and food. I can guarantee they will always provide you with top-tier service. Honestly, I was (and continue to be) pleasantly surprised at how personable and attentive the service is, considering its counter-service. If anything, I love how quick and convenient it is, without lacking in excellent service or quality. The interior has an open farmhouse aesthetic that is inviting and full of character. Ole Ole Ithaca serves Korean street food, but what makes this spot different is the fusion blend that you won’t find everywhere. The food is always delicious, the portions are generous, and it feels homemade. With rising costs these days, I find the prices are unbeatable for the portion sizes. I frequently order online for delivery or takeout, and the website is super easy to use. The food is just as fresh and tasty as eating in, so I use their website a lot. Ithaca has many Korean restaurants, but Ole Ole Ithaca is one of those places that truly offer the best of all worlds: delicious Korean food with a unique twist, consistently great quality, and stellar service in a welcoming atmosphere. Like I said, I can’t gatekeep this gem forever, because I know that once you try the food, it will instantly become one of your favorite restaurants too.
My first time to the Han Family’s Ithaca location. Love the atmosphere classic adornments all over the walls. The menu has so many delicious choices. Mrs. Hahn greeted me with a smile and I placed my eat in order - GF chicken rice bowl. Absolutely delicious with yum yum sauce and an excellent tasting broth. I forgot to add until I already started in with just yum yum sauce. This just made it even better! I also ordered the GF chicken K roll. Wow this was great and tasty with the yum yum sauce and full of vegetables! Thank you for a great lunch. Loved my visit!
Absolutely loved this place! The kimchi beef tacos, beef gimbap, and beef bibimbap and tteokbokki were SO GOOD! I wish I was local so I could come here all the time. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu items the next time I am home to visit. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
My companions and I had very pleasant time at Olé Olé. There were many unique menu items - a blend of Korean and Mexican cuisine. I got the chicken Kimbap. It was pretty tasty but I wasn’t a fan of the mayo - I’d rate it a 8/10. I thought the portion size was perfect. My companion got the Bibimbap which she rated as a 7.6 / 10 and my other companion got the beef bun and rated it a 8/10, disappointed that by the small portion size but enjoyed the taste. Overall very pleasant restaurant and great service - will come back again to try more items on the menu.
Sunday night find! Had no idea what to expect and it did not disappoint. The man at the counter was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. We got the spicy pork rice bowl and the beef hot pot. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing. Will definitely be back. Friendly service, delicious food, super clean, and fast. The kind of place I could picture on an episode with Guy Fieri. The Shiitake mushrooms were so delicious and the Korean / Mexican fusion was such a tasty surprise.
Foodie Stop in Ithaca – Ole Ole Korean Food at Ithaca Mall✨ Traveling through Ithaca always brings me joy, especially when I find hidden gems that make the trip even more memorable. This was my second time stopping by Ole Ole Korean Food at Ithaca Mall, and I have to say—it was just as fantastic as the first visit, maybe even better! I ordered a variety of dishes this time to really experience what this family-owned spot has to offer. The vegetable & tofu hotpot was perfect—hearty, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients like mushrooms, tofu, noodles, and crisp veggies all simmering in a delicious broth. It felt like comfort in a bowl. Next up was the shiitake mushroom burrito—a fun fusion twist! Filled with mushrooms, lettuce, corn, pickled onions, and a touch of sauce, every bite had that mix of freshness and umami I love. Then came the vegetarian bibimbap—colorful, vibrant, and so satisfying with edamame, carrots, pickled radish, mushrooms, and a soft egg on top, all tied together with their gochujang sauce. And of course, I couldn’t resist the pork belly bun—juicy, tender pork topped with fresh shredded veggies, tucked into a pillowy soft bun. Pure happiness. What makes Ole Ole even more special is the warm hospitality. The owners are super friendly and clearly put love into everything they serve. Prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portions. If you’re in Ithaca, skip the chains and come here instead—you’ll get authentic, delicious, and heartwarming food. I’ll definitely be back again soon! 📍 Ole Ole Korean Food, Ithaca Mall 🍲 Must try: Bibimbap, Hotpot, Pork Belly Bun, Burritos.
Stopped in here for dinner with my husband. The food was AMAZING! I got the sweet chili chicken rice bowl and shitake mushroom bun. Soo good! Super friendly service, very clean, cool decor, and they serve the food quickly. Definitely will be back, 10/10!
Korean dishes with variations on other dishes. We had the beef hot pot, shiitake bebimbap, and the chicken burrito bowl. All were excellent. The host was very kind and helpful. They were packed, but the service was fast enough to keep the tables turning over. Update: we came back here two more times during our visit because the food was so satisfying. I had the kim chi tacos, which were outstanding. We got food to go to take on the plane. This food is so healthy I can feel good about eating it every day.
We happened to be driving by and saw that they were now open! It was awesome! I had the spicy pork udon, my wife had the spicy pork rice bowl and my daughter had the beef Japchae. We also split some beef dumplings. The flavors were amazing and I think I could eat the spicy pork every meal for the rest of my life lol. The pork was so good, and it was so tender. This will be on our list of regular stops for sure.
This place is incredible!! Bahn mi, pork buns, Bibimbop, udon & nachos HIT
WOW 💗 YES! Was headed to Applebee's (I know boring) when we saw this gem! Cozy and well lit, we were greeted immediately, questions were cheerfully answered. Everything looked, smelled and sounded so good it was hard to choose! Beef bulgogi hot pot and sweet chili chicken rice bowl called. Everything came out beautifully prepared and equally as exquisitely colorful in flavor. 10/10 Will come again!
Driving through Ithaca and this came up in the search. 5 stars??? Let’s go see! Yep, it’s 5 stars! I had the Salmon bowl, Kevin the ahi tuna. Very fresh, beautifully presented and tasty! The proprietor was exceptional, service and education.
Wife and I tried this place out on Friday Nov 15, 2024. I heard good things locally and wanted to try it out myself. It's a fusion menu, so although it's Korean inspired there are offerings that are from other cultures. They have options for vegetarians as well. My wife got the kimchi ramen and I got the spicy pork banh mi. My wife said the kimchi ramen was delicious and the banh mi I got was super delicious. Their pork was really good and tender and well seasoned/cooked. I've had banh mi all over the country and this one was done a little differently but it was still wonderful in its own way. Banh mi purists might cry about it, but I enjoyed it a lot. My wife and I also got beef and vegetable dumplings to start. These were pretty basic but they tasted as they should have. Would recommend...and I can't wait to try out the rest of their offerings.
Food is amazing here!! So glad to have a Korean restaurant in the Triphammer area. It’s elegantly decorated inside and clean, with a great variety of fusion food at affordable prices. The ambience is relaxing and casual. Try the kimchi and beef tacos (choice of corn or flour tortillas)! The food also comes with an incredible beef bone broth that’s just what you need on a cold winter’s day.
The food was so delicious and flavorful. Beautiful presentation and colorful. Nice sized portions for the price. Will definitely be coming back here.
A gem! Stopped by on a whim and am still thinking about my meal 24 hours later 😊Scrumptious, filling, and beautiful food, with a great atmosphere and lovely staff. Wish I could eat here more often (but am from out of town). Loved all of the choices. Highest recommendation. Protect this place!

Excellent all around! Fantastic, fresh food at fair prices with excellent service.
Made a pickup order and everything was very tasty and reasonably priced in comparison to other local options. Staff at the counter was very friendly and efficient. Food was well packed. I’ll definitely be ordering here again.
I have gotten take out a few times from here and they are always so nice when I pick up. The food is great quality, fresh, great flavors, good portions, and I keep going back for more. Definately reccommend!!
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in ithaca. Excellent quality, amazing service, fair price.. There's really nothing to criticize in my opinion. They take good care of every customer.

If I could give 0 stars, I would in a heart beat. This place was the most mediocre "Korean" food I have ever tried in my life. The fact that the owner in the front is Korean, yet she operates this abomination of a restaurant is BEYOND ME. The beef hotpot was insanely salty, the RICE was salty, and the salmon yubu was a health violation code for how old the fish looked. Please do not come here. Save your time and money for somewhere else, like Kimchi or The lotus in Downtown - you'll thank me later.
