We were on vacation in Mérida, and while planning our trip, we found this place on Google Maps. We decided to visit, and the first thing that struck me was that right in front of it is a pyramid, the Kinich pyramid—that was wow! Then the place itself was beautiful, a spacious garden with tables scattered throughout. Guillermo greeted us, seated us, and explained the menu, the concept behind each dish, the restaurant, the ingredients… everything, absolutely everything. The drinks were delicious; we tried two cocktails, a whiskey, and a glass of wine. As for the menu, I'd rather not try anything else… except the plantain chips and the hamburgers. We wanted to, but we were completely full. We literally tried almost every dish on the menu, which I must say are generous portions, enough to allow you to sample several dishes. Our favorite appetizers were the baby corn and the crab kibbeh, and our favorite main course was the pork belly taco. For dessert, we had the corn tamale. But everything was absolutely delicious, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients. It's worth every penny for the price; the food, the service, and the location were all impeccable. Oh! And they have a viewpoint so you can see the pyramid from there too.

Great atmosphere, and the food is truly delicious. I think it's a place with a great offering in Izamal that raises the bar for other restaurants. The burger isn't anything special, but it's very well-made and delicious. The octopus hot dog with sausage is excellent, and the cocktails are a must. The dessert was great as well. Must visit if you're in Izamal.

Great experience with small tables outside in the garden area. There are also spots on the bar available. Food and drinks were very good. Would 100% recommend.

We stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it was a wonderful experience. It's a small outdoor space with a beautiful atmosphere and a refined menu. From the cocktails to the food, everything is carefully crafted. They also use various ingredients and spices grown directly on site. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. We tried almost everything available (almost all small samples) and loved it all: we recommend the small corn on the cob and, if you're looking for something more international, the chicken burger.

Kanché is a must visit when stopping in Izamal. We found it by accident when exploring the town and had a great experience. Their food and drinks are fantastic and you can enjoy it all in the beautiful setting of their garden where the restaurant feels built into the plants. Such a cool experience, especially as they grow most of what they serve in their garden. To top it all off, you even get a view of the ruins! Cannot recommend enough!

Definitely a nice place to have some drinks and small plates to eat - it’s more an appetizer menu but definitely has some delicious dishes (I recommend the Kibis) atmosphere is beautiful and tranquil. Pretty pricey tho but it is what it is. Service and cocktails are top notch
