I give 4 stars not 5, because of the manager. I understand it was Sunday evening. I understand they don’t have enough staff, but the manager should be there supporting his team. Me an another truck driver waited multiple minutes at the host stand, without even being asked if we’ve been helped or what are we waiting for. An young African American gentleman seated as on his way out from work (9:45pm). Then we waited 5-10 min until someone finally observed that we are there. I guess nobody said that there are two new tables seated. Sarah observed and politely apologized and took care of us. After that, the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the avocado-bacon-cheeseburger. They didn’t had avocado, no worries, but I must admit the service that Sarah provided was impeccable. Besides the 10-15 tables that were full of dishes and needed to be cleaned, everything was ok in the restaurant. After 30 min the cook or the dishwasher gentleman came to clean the tables... The only problem was the manager, a short chubby lady who came out of her office to help, waaay to late, when there was already a line at the host stand of 6-7 people. It’s a shame that this restaurant sucks because of the managers not because of the staff. Overall, the food was one of the best from most of the Denny’s restaurants I’ve stopped to across the country. Thank you Sarah for the good and nice service. Shame on the manager on duty and the owner.

It was quite time so we were seated quickly. Service was good. Waitress friendly. Food was good. 4/5.

This restaurant is connected to a truck stop. Very odd to hear loudly announced every few minutes; "Number 47 your shower is ready." The waitresses were flirty, very free with the "sweetie & hun". 🙂 The service was good, as well as the food.

Food was hot and service was excellent. Trisha, waitress was attentive and helpful. Would recommend for a great Denny's breakfast.

Brittney waited on us today and did a great job. Sat and watched for a bit, and all the waitresses were quick, polite and attentive.

I drove all the way from Newbern to eat here. Once I got to the restaurant, I was seated and ordered a soda. My waitress brought me a water instead. I did eventually get the soda I asked for but I had to keep asking a different waitress for a refill than the one that took my initial order. Once my food was brought to me, I noticed that I had the correct burger but the wrong side item. Conclusion: the food is excellent but the service leaves a bit to be desired.

Biscuit was 1/4" high...there are 2 biscuits..LOL...the "sausage gravy" had 1 sausage link cut up in it. I now know why Dennys had less than half occupancy. The server never brought spoons for the coffee, sent it back bcs..well paint thinner would have tasted better. COME ON Denny's!! Do Better Be Better

waited over an hour for my food to be ready and I ordered it to go. Denny's used to be the best place around Man that sure isn't the case anymore.

If I could give negative stars I would. 15 minutes to be seated when only tables were in use. Ordered grand slam and omelet which after 30 minutes of waiting on asked to bag it to go instead came out under cooked and cold. Don't recommend eating here for breakfast ever. Waffle house down the road is nicer and better quality.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a Denny’s. The server, Ebony, was openly rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. I clearly stated that I did NOT want bacon in my order and asked for the dish to be remade. Her response was “I don’t care,” followed by aggressively grabbing the plate with an irritated look. When the replacement dish was brought out, it was slammed onto the table without any apology or basic courtesy. When I asked for a to-go box for the remaining food, she ignored me and walked away without saying a word. After waiting and asking again, she responded rudely, saying she was alone and told me not to be impatient, despite the fact that I had been calm and respectful the entire time. Because of her consistent hostile attitude and lack of professionalism, I did not leave a tip. At checkout, she continued making rude gestures, muttering to herself, and walking away instead of behaving like a service professional. This behavior is unacceptable in any customer-facing job. Management seriously needs to address this, as this level of disrespect reflects extremely poorly on the restaurant.

We stopped for supper on New Year's day. There were just a few customers, and apparently only 2 people working. We walked in, and were told we would be seated shortly. 10 minutes later, we were continually ignored. There was someone at the check out right next to us. He acted as if we were not there. The waitress saw us...ignored us. Finally, we left. I recommend you pass on by this place.

If you’re considering stopping here for breakfast, save yourself the time and money. One of the worst experiences. We were sat a a sticky table, we got paper towels wet from the bathroom and wiped it ourselves, waitress was nowhere to be found. When she did show up, she was very polite. We ordered the everyday value slam as it came, was charged $1.19 extra for sausage gravy(that we didn’t ask for) Couldn’t eat the said gravy and biscuits cuz it was so bad. The biscuits were as thin as sliced bread. We literally both took one bite and pushed our plates back. I specifically asked if they charged extra for scrambled eggs, she said no.. I was charged an extra $1.49 Ordered coffee , didn’t get it. As we’re checking out she brings a to go coffee and we’re charged $3.69 to it. Charged for a coffee we didn’t get with our meal! I actually laughed a little. Hard to put in writing but it was terrible. The lady behind the desk looked at us like we were stupid when we tried to explain the coffee situation. We just paid and left. $25.89 for two people to eat meals that should’ve costed $6.99 a piece. Ridiculous. But if it had been edible, might’ve made it ok..

Very sad. Worst Denny's experience I've ever had. One server running tables took forever to get food some items which where not received. Poorly cooked food like soggy toast and eggs with the whites not cooked. Had to go up with cups to get refills. Need more ppl here and maybe some cooks that can well.... cook.... Loud speaker yelling about showers and whatnot. Very disappointed in this Denny's and the experience it came with. I love Denny's but this one is not it.

Absolute worst Denny's service I have ever experienced regarding management. My meal was missing bacon, I asked the server about it she said no it doesn’t come with it. I showed her the menu where it does she apologized. I understand mistakes happen no worries, hear her ask the kitchen to fire it only for her to be met with outrage from the kitchen. Instead of them accepting their mistake and just cooked some damn bacon I hear them yelling at the server that we are wrong. Then the manager comes out to argue with me about the meal saying “it’s inside the eggs” no sir it’s not, I opened the sandwich in front of them to show it was in fact missing. He’s response “I’m sorry that’s just how it is” Absolutely not. If you were sorry you would already be in the process of having the mistake corrected. Instead of just giving a genuine apology and cooking the damn food, they would rather argue with a paying customer. If I could give zero stars I would. Will never be back to this disgraceful establishment, and I hope corporate is made aware and takes some action and accountability for their terrible management staff.

I ordered the chicken parm it was cook good the only reason why I give a 1 star is due to the waitress I waited to be acknowledging but did not so I move toward the pickup sign because I place an online order she still didn't welcome me in, but when I white man standing in front she welcome him in and seated him. I was like excuse me I was here first her response was I see you. I will never come back I wish I didn't leave a online tip to get horrible serve.

T E R R I B L E food. I ordered the French toast and it came burnt to hell on the back half, the eggs smelled sour & had a bad after taste, hash browns were not fully cooked and still somehow burnt! Almost a $60 bill for about 8 bites of disgusting food. Poor waitress was so old she could barely keep up. Then the cook had the nerve to BLARE terrible music.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. There were only about 12 people seated in the restaurant, yet the hostess claimed they were too busy to take any more orders. She then dismissively said, “Have a great night!” This is supposed to be a 24-hour restaurant, but there was only one occupied table, with the rest of the place completely empty. I wasn’t the only one who received the same response.

Horrible experience is putting it nicely. I ordered the pot roast melt. I eat this sandwich a lot so I already know what to expect. They took my hard earned money and gave me two dried up roast beef nuggets. When I questioned the server, who was very polite, she responded that each serving was pre-portioned. There was no mention of why the sandwich was missing the carmelized onions. Pictured below is a picture of what's displayed on the menu versus the trash plate they served me.
