Midtown Table

Just enjoyed our first visit to Midtown Table and our experience was fantastic! We sat on the patio, as we'd brought our dog and the evening was beautiful. Our 5 year old daughter met new friends and had a wonderful time playing on the grassy area. They no longer have any lawn games as mentioned in other reviews, but the kids had a great time just running around. The food was fantastic; we had the white pizza, the vodka pizza, and our daughter had the kids spaghetti and meatballs. Our server, Trinity, was incredible! She was attentive, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. It was truly a lovely evening and we will certainly be back for another visit soon!

Happy hour here is a perfect little after work outing! 4-6pm you can get $5 house wines. I had the baby greens salad with grilled chicken for dinner and it was very fresh and the chicken was very juicy. It was a perfect meal! My friend got the gnocchi with grilled chicken and had the same wonderful comments about the chicken. We also tried a couple of appetizers that were good but I feel could come with a little more bread or the bread cut up into more pieces. Overall great time and amazing food!

We had a wonderful experience at Midtown Table thanks to our server Madi. She knew so much about the great menu here and told us about the in-house made specialties. We had the white bean hummus with pine nuts, chopped apples and apple balsamic glaze and it was exceptional. We ordered the truffle fries with garlic aioli and parmesano reggiano cheese. We also had a margarita pizza with pepperoni. All of these items were excellent. You can really tell the attention to detail and in-house, chef-made items here! We also appreciate that the manager Greg was friendly and took the time to speak with us and tell us more about this great restaurant. They have a beautiful outdoor patio fitted with heaters. We definitely will return and I give Midtown Table, and Madi, five stars!

Great family-friendly elevated spot with dedicated parking! Kids pizzas were fantastic. Pasta was great! Truffle fries appetizer was amazing! Service was great. Make a reservation!

Midtown Table did not disappoint at all! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. Our apps were out within 5 minutes of ordering. The seasonal burrata with spaghetti squash was SO good. The home-made bread is so fresh and delicious. For entrees we had the White Pizza & the Bucatini Carbonara. All of their bread, dough, & pasta is made in house daily. The quality and freshness is amazing! Don’t even get me started on the White Chocolate Bread Pudding 😍 Highly recommend!!

Everything was great! Would highly recommended to anyone. Burger was the best my husband's had. Jeff Balint and our server made sure we had a great experience. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again!

This place is nice! I came here to get a quick snack before I went on the bus. I wasn't expecting the inside of the restaurant to be fancy, but it is. The truffle fries were SO GOOD and crispy! They came out super fast, and they were nice and hot. Are they worth 11 bucks? I don't know, I'm not a food expert. I just review places in Jax 🤷🏾‍♀️. I don't think the staff can control the price anyway. Speaking of the staff, they were very, very friendly. Special thanks to my waitress and the manager for being so kind! I will be back!

Booked a reservation for my birthday on a whim and had a meal that probably ranks in my top 5 ever eaten. We had the house bread, the NY strip, the fettucine, and the ice cream. Everything was so good and I'll be dreaming about it until the next time we can eat there. Our server, Katie, was exceptional and took such good care of us. We will definitely be back!

The food was great! Had the fettuccine with blackened salmon. Holy wow, those noodles were amazing! (As well as everything else)! Enjoyed a nice mocktail as well since I had the little one with me, which was also great! Speaking of that, the staff was fantastic with interacting with my little girl. Having conversation with her and saying good bye. It was just a great experience. The back patio is also nice for the kiddos since it is entirely fenced in. Totally recommend

Came with a friend in a Saturday and was greeted and seated immediately. Our server greeted us shortly after we sat and got our drink orders quickly. I had the espresso martini, which was great, and my friend, a glass of wine. We ordered the Sicilian pizza to share and it was also great. For entrees we split the club sandwich and the caesar salad with grilled chicken, both were very good. I would order everything again but I also want to try more menu items so I'll definitely be back. Our server was amazing and a huge Jags fan so we had some good conversation as well.

Every year we host our company Christmas party at a different restaurant, and I can confidently say this was hands down the best one yet. The service went beyond five-star, absolutely exceptional. The food was amazing, and every member of the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. I truly can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. Every recommendation he made was right on point, and you could tell he genuinely cared about us having a great meal. The food was outstanding. The pizza felt authentic and full of flavor, with great balance and quality ingredients. My wife ordered the airline chicken, and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and very well presented. Portion sizes were good, and while the prices are a little higher, they match the quality and the current dining scene. The dessert completely surprised us. Our server recommended a dessert that is not on the menu, and it ended up being the best dessert I have ever had. It was some kind of Nutella-based ice cream cheesecake, and even though it is hard to describe, it was incredible. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. I would recommend Midtown Table without hesitation and will definitely be coming back.

Very nice experience all together. All the options on the menu sounded great so it was hard to choose. I went with the charcuterie board, white bean soup, and the radiatore pasta with salmon. All very good. The inside ambience is also very cool, the kitchen is open air and in the floor so you can watch the whole process of the kitchen.

Midtown Table climbs higher up on my list of Jacksonville favorites with every visit. It is such a great lunch spot and located in a great spot if you’re meeting someone on the opposite side of town. From the outside, it might look like a small restaurant, but the inside and back of the restaurant presents plenty of space for groups big and small, a bar area, and an outdoor play area. It’s set up quite nicely. I ordered the Vodka Pizza (Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, Calabrian Honey, Pepperoni, Pickled Onions, Fresh Basil) and it did not disappoint!!! The pizzas come Neapolitan Style as a 10’” personal pizza. The presentation alone was enough to make another guest order it, resulting in TWO vodka pizzas for the table! It was a delicious combination of sauce, cheese, and hot honey. I could’ve done with a little more basil (but who wouldn’t!). The crust was cooked to perfection, not too chewy with a firm undercarriage. I love that they are generous with the hot honey! My meal (vodka pizza) was absolutely delicious, and my guests who ordered a variety of other items, like sandwiches, salads, and pasta, all said their items were great too. We just had an amazing dinner at Midtown Table. Our 9 year old son said it was the best charcuterie board, best pizza and best bread pudding he ever had! I loved my Caesar salad and fresh fettuccine pasta. My husband enjoyed the potato pizza but couldn’t finish it because of how big it was. Our server was genuinely kind to us and engaging, and well-informed about the dishes on the menu. Next time we are in Jacksonville we will be sure to return!

If we could give Midtown 10 ⭐ we would. First getting in is a small challenge when heading West but surmountable. Parking is ok. Our Pool group of 18 arrived at 11:30 am and enjoyed a wonderful lunch dining experience. Our main server was Mary who along with support staff and the manager Jeff did an outstanding job. The place is new, bright, clean and welcoming. We ordered drinks, all came correct. I decided on the soup of the day Chicken, which was hot and tasty BUT a bit on the salty side, still 5 ⭐. I then ordered the 10" personal pizza which came out great so 5 ⭐. Of the 18 each of them enjoyed every serving with one small exception. The French Dip came out on the rare side. Asking for Jeff he was more than accommodating, comping the meal, offering any substitutions. Jeff even delivered an ice cream special that was shareable as well as further cooking the beef and boxing it to take home. All we can say is not a single negative and plan to again return over and over to this 5 ⭐✨ restaurant.

Initially we reserved a restaurant in St. Augustine but was too tired to drive the hour. I came across Midtown table and it was also recommended by our hotel and several patrons that I randomly asked in the St. John’s shopping center. We were not expecting much but we were blown away by the service and food. Reese was our waiter and catered to our every need. I had my heart set on pizza but they didn’t have any dough left (it was almost 9pm so I get it). Didn’t feel like eating anything else but Reese went out of his way and brought me the white bean soup to try. It was divine! The sous chef then brought us a complimentary fall of the bone, melt in your mouth short rib. My husband is a pescatarian but tasted the greens and sweet potato mash and lost his mind - it was that good! My daughter had the fettuccine which was phenomenal - sauce was different - very light with a hint of sweet and spicy. My son had the lasagna with bolognese sauce. I had oysters and house bread. Everything and I mean everything was a HIT! All he pasta are made in house and you could tell it was a from scratch kitchen. For dessert we had the vanilla icecream with Maldon salt and olive oil and the off menu Nutella dish. Both excellent!! Midtown table is a gem and the staff created a core memory for us that will last a lifetime. If they were open on Sunday we would go back - that’s how much we loved that place. Thanks Reese and team for making our 23rd wedding anniversary special!! Keep making great food!!

We live over in the town center area and have so many restaurants to chose from for special occasions. As we were debating where to go to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary my husband said how about Midtown Table. Our experience was spectacular. Every single server came over to wish us happy anniversary as well as the manager. They were all so warm and welcoming. Our food was delicious and they even surprised us with a beautiful and tasty dessert. As we were leaving they brought us a bag of goodies with cookies and pasta. We were so impressed. It was truly a special experience. We can’t wait to go back!

If there were six stars, I would give it. Everything was perfect! From the architecture to the decor. - from the staff to the food. We knew this was going to be amazement the restaurant manager opened the door to admit us. Do yourself a favor and visit Midtown Table!

I was looking forward to the affogato, but unfortunately, the ice cream was already melted when it arrived, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, the overall experience was fantastic!

Lovely, I got the special which I don't know is available anymore. It was really delicious and I enjoyed the mussels and clams. Additionally, I got the chocolate torte, a must have if you go here because it is delicious!

Really enjoyed my visit! I went with the fettuccine topped with blackened salmon, and wow—the noodles were absolutely fantastic. I love this restaurant! The atmosphere and the food are amazing. Melanie is our favorite waitress. Kind, patient, polite, friendly and gentle. No rushing or anything. Blake impressed us so much. He is a hardworking kid who doesn’t stop. Very impressed with his work ethic.

The food was amazing, but the staff really made the whole experience—especially Jeff! I’m kicking myself for forgetting our server’s name (I’m so sorry!), but she was also incredibly kind and on top of everything the entire time we were there. The whole time we were at the restaurant, I watched Jeff take the time to stop at each table individually (including ours!) to check on how things were going and make sure everyone was having an enjoyable afternoon. He came by more than once while we were there to check in and chat. He even thanked us more than once for choosing Midtown Table for our meal. He seemed genuinely invested in ensuring everyone was having a great afternoon. That kind of attention really makes a place feel welcoming. Jeff truly made our experience better, and I hope the team at Midtown Table knows how much he adds to the restaurant.

Just left here, had a little late lunch with my wife and it was amazing! She got the French Dip and I got the Panuosso both with side Caesar salads and the Calabrian Shrimp as an app. The food was perfect, one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time, the closest thing to the sandwiches I've eaten in Rome that I've been able to find. The cherry on top was our amazing server Steven, he absolutely spoiled us, very attentive, friendly, and made great conversation. We will definitely be back to see Steven again and try more of the menu!

First time visiting Midtown and they did not disappoint.We went there for an early Birthday Lunch. The shrimp appetizer with calabrian honey was delicious. We had the hand cut pasta with glacier blue cream sauce. Also the Paradiso sandwich was so delicious. All of the flavors were amazing. For desert we had the Bananas Foster Bread pudding with Midtown Table Ice cream. It was an insane blend of flavors!!Our server, Steven was amazing. He took great care of us. We also loved Jeff, who is the brand Ambassador. He shared great information about the Medure brand. We can't wait to return and also visit the other restaurants owned by the Medure brothers. Drinks were good. Margarita pizza was very good. Bread is fantastic. Wife’s lasagna with bolognese was fantastic and sausage white bean soup was good. The only complaint would be the Caesar salad which had very little dressing on it and no crushed black pepper. Service and atmosphere are on par.

Get reservations. Sitting on the patio when it is cold is okay, but not great. If they had screens it might block the wind. The heaters helped, but the wind was a bit much. Pizza was great. Glacier Blue pasta , so so. It was okay, but I would have preferred red sauce or traditional Alfredo. The combo didn't really work as well as I had hoped. Wine was decent amd our server was very personalable, took decent care of us, but also had a table of 12 who took most of his time. He gets extra points because he was very, very helpful and attentive while he was with us.

Classy and pricey. The food was good and so was the wine. Wish the atmosphere inside was a bit more upscale with more subtle lighting. Our server was awesome.

Mid Town Table is one of my go-to spots, and for good reason! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. This visit, I had a charcuterie board, a strawberry martini, an espresso martini, and finished with crème brûlée. Everything was really good—the drinks were well-balanced, the charcuterie had a great selection, and the crème brûlée was the perfect sweet ending. The only downside was my pizza, which had a bit of a burnt bottom and didn’t turn out how I wanted. But one thing about this place—the staff always takes care of you, which is why I keep coming back. If you’re looking for great Italian-inspired food and excellent drinks in a welcoming atmosphere, Mid Town Table is definitely worth a visit!

We had such a great experience at Midtown Table! We started with the truffle fries, bread plate, and meatballs, and everything was absolutely delicious. I got the carbonara with grilled shrimp as my entrée and it was so flavorful and rich without being too heavy. For dessert, I had the ice cream which was super creamy and a perfect ending to the meal. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the white chocolate mocha crème brûlée—it just wasn’t our favorite. But overall, the atmosphere was cozy and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend and would come back again!

My colleague ordered the Napoleon Margarita pizza, while I went with my usual French Dip, which comes with a side—I chose the Caesar salad. The pizza had a thin crust and was generously topped with fresh mozzarella, which looked and tasted great. My French Dip was pretty good as always, though the shaved ribeye was a little dry and slightly over-charred on the edges this time. The previous two visits, I waited over 30 minutes for food, but today it arrived in about 20—which was a welcome improvement. I actually had time to relax and enjoy lunch at a comfortable pace. The ambience is modern and contemporary, and the service has always been friendly.

The lasagna was fantastic, some of the best I've had at a restaurant. All of the homemade noodles are excellent. I really loved the bread as well. The chicken francese was a disappointment, sadly. The outside breading was very soggy, wet, cold, and just generally undercooked. I'd recommend avoiding that dish.

Get reservations. Sitting on the patio when it is cold is okay, but not great. If they had screens it might block the wind. The heaters helped, but the wind was a bit much. Pizza was great. Glacier Blue pasta , so so. It was okay, but I would have preferred red sauce or traditional Alfredo. The combo didn't really work as well as I had hoped. Wine was decent amd our server was very personalable, took decent care of us, but also had a table of 12 who took most of his time. He gets extra points because he was very, very helpful and attentive while he was with us.

Drinks were good. Margarita pizza was very good. Bread is fantastic. Wife’s lasagna with bolognese was fantastic and sausage white bean soup was good. The only complaint would be the Caesar salad which had very little dressing on it and no crushed black pepper. Service and atmosphere are on par.

This place was nice. It is not for everyone. You may like it, you may not. I didn't care for it, but my partner enjoyed it. Once walking in the staff were great with welcoming and seating. We had a nice waiter. We asked about their drink recommendations and which ones were in tall glasses. We ordered 3 and they were all small but strong. For an appetizer we ordered the Calabrian shrimp and the meatballs. The shrimp were a great size! They were great and if you like spice, these are for you. The meatballs were also a great size and we ate them before we could get a good picture. They taste like giant chef boyardee meatballs(which is not a bad thing). For the entree, we both ordered the fettuccini. I chose salmon and shrimp for the meat and my partner had chicken and shrimp. The pasta was fresh and the proteins were good. I did not care for the sauce, but my partner enjoyed it. We also ordered dessert to go. We ordered the ice cream and bread pudding. Both were good.

Good rates and how busy this place is surprising. As for me, food does not taste good. Also, they charged ~$1 for a piece of bread🤦🏻‍♀️, which doesn't look like the one they have on the website and not delicious as well. We came with my friend to spend some time with our kids, because outside sitting is very nice, but we were pushed to pay and leave. I assume because lunchtime is busy. We were not offered to order anything else, even though we had planned to get coffee & desserts🤨

Service and atmosphere were wonderful. Unfortunately, that’s all I can say about it. Food was not. We ordered the wings and they were not cooked enough so the meat was extremely rubbery and hard to get off the bone. The meat in my French dip sandwich was extremely fatty. The burger was comparable to a steak and shake burger. The only great meal in all of our dishes was the butternut squash soup!

Normally, Midtown is one of my favorite restaurants. Tonight, I was extremely disappointed in my food; ordered the Anahili, although it cost $22+, there were maybe 5 ravioli....seriously....5. we ordered bread service too and I left hungry. The flavor was delicious, but the pasta was hard....not al dente, HARD. Waitress was sweet but forgot my beverage, forgot that we ordered bread, and forgot hat I wanted to take home an order of soup. She remembered after I had paid. I don't plan to go back. Ridiculous serving size. Disappointed 😞
