Tucked into the heart of Manhattan Beach, Pure Coffee is pretty good. I popped in for a flat white, and even though I had to rush out with it in a to-go cup, the flavor still stopped me in my tracks—creamy, smooth, and layered with notes of marshmallow, lemon, and sweet chocolate from their espresso blend. Dessert in a cup. I was this close to ordering the almond croissant—flaky, golden, and topped with beautifully toasted slivered almonds—but I’ll be back for it next time. It looked incredible. They’re rocking Mavam espresso machines, which are not only gorgeous but precision-driven—perfect for making magic no matter who’s behind the bar. The vibe is clean, stylish, and comfortable. Plenty of seating whether you’re working, catching up with a friend, or just people-watching. They’ve got a bathroom (huge win), and it’s conveniently located next to FedEx, Chase, and some solid local food spots, so you can make a whole little outing out of it. Even the for-here cups are a moment—total Barcelona café vibes. Can’t wait to go back and linger.
As a weird coffee person, this place fits the bill. The coffee is strong and well made. The pastries over the last few days have been surprisingly nice. The dudes behind the counter that helped me had jokes AND knowledge. The whole crew has style and vibes. Its 100% what I would expect from a coffee shop half a mile from the beach.
So grateful for this gem of a spot!! Everyone on the team was so gracious and welcoming (shout out Adam!!) … both breakfast sandwiches and coffee were lovely. Great way to start the day!
It's the best place in Manhattan and surrounding areas- I've tried almost all coffee shops. The service is friendly and willing to remake your drink, plus lots of variety for every coffee lover. Thanks y'all!
Talk to the owners Barry and Heitz, talk to the friendly staff, and grab some terrific coffee made from their air-roasted beans flown in fresh from their South Dakota home base. Admittedly, I was not very familiar with air-roasted coffee beans, but they say it makes for a smoother fresher, less acidic taste.
My favorite coffee shop in all of LA. I love that the lattes are all quad shots by default and the espresso is incredibly smooth and flavorful. Also the Rico breakfast burrito is incredible.
Hot lattes and chocolate/almond croissants were both so fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the honey cinnamon latte.
Great place to sit and have a cup of coffee. Love the ambiance! My flat white was delicious.
Best shot of espresso I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful lot spot for a good neighborhood caffe, late, espresso and pastry. A must visit!!
I got a coffee to take away from Pure Bean. I ordered the Lavender Honey Latte with oat milk and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was so friendly and answered my questions to help me choose the perfect drink. There were a lot of people inside the coffee shop and it would be a great place to bring my laptop and work from. It's quite bright inside with a lot of natural light and plants. Highly recommend checking out Pure Bean if you're in the area.

Bright open space, good coffee & friendly service.
Just had their cappuccino with vanilla syrup and half-and-half in an actual coffee cup. It was excellent! Definitely coming back. I finished it so fast I forgot to take a picture of it.
Excellent drip coffee and great attitude from Pure Bean's staff. Highly recommend
I am hard to please with coffee and this morning I was blown away by this shop! Best coffee in the South Bay
They were really attentive and careful and coffee was perfect, they even gave me milk for the baby on the house. Beautiful business and beautiful people.
I never leave reviews, but Pure is legitimately outstanding. Rarely have I been taken aback to the point where I have to pause when taking a sip of coffee to truly savor it, but Pure is just different. I’ve now been here 5 times and gotten a different drink each time, but every one has delivered. For the quality and value, it’s the best in the area, and I’ve tried them all. Having four shots of very high quality espresso as the default and still keeping costs below competitors is just unmatched. I also don’t have to ask them to reduce the sweetness of their drinks like I do at most other shops. They also have one of the best breakfast burritos, bar none. Absolutely phenomenal all around experience.
As an Australian in LA, I’ve found getting a good flat white hit and miss. This place nails it consistently. Perfect size, ratio and presentation. Fantastic product. Highly recommend.

I LOVE coming here! The drinks and bakery items are amazing and the service is outstanding. My 9yo son loves coming here with me. The people who work here are so friendly, helpful and kind. It's my favorite coffee shop :)

Being in a strip mall is a certain win as it meant dedicated parking spaces and yes it’s free! Also IYKYK, strip mall around this area was typically coming in decent size and so did the parking. Well-lit venue, plenty of seats and even abundant plugs. As expected, you could see tons of guests were studying and working. Not few even came in bigger group. Not realizing that they provided detailed version of the menu, I initially was thrown off looking at the wall menu as most of the names weren’t familiar. Thanks to the helpful attendant, making me going for what she said as one of their favorites; the latte served with honey, vanilla, and cinnamon - called as miel. Being the specialist in beans as well, no doubt the coffee was of great quality. One tip, if you weren’t that much into sweet, you might wanna customize it and request for less sweet.
This cafe has a clean, warm welcoming environment reflective of the Redondo/Manhattan beach vibe in which it resides. Service is fast, professional and courteous. Food and coffee are satisfactory and presented well

We love the atmosphere, the employees and the coffee however, our family uses organic milk and I wish that an option for organic milk was available, even if you had to pay a A higher price. We used to come there a lot with our friends and stop going completely because of the milk quality. I brought this concern to one of the managers and he told me that it would cost more although I would. I’m ready to pay more for a better quality milk. Although I miss everyone there, I suggest for them to rethink the quality of their milk.

The prices are inconsistent. Came to two days in a row and i wish I kept the recipe but they don’t print those for you. And they don’t call out names for food so both of these days someone else took my food and I waited a little longer to have them make it again. Coffee is nice tho
