The Rainforest Cafe was a great experience. The food was very good and tasted fresh, and the atmosphere was truly amazing. The attention to detail in making it feel like an actual rainforest is incredible — it really adds to the whole experience. It’s definitely a family-oriented restaurant, and my 2-year-old niece absolutely loved it. The service was okay, nothing exceptional, but overall it was a fun and enjoyable place to visit.

We received great service at the rainforest cafe. Our waitress Toni, took our order and checked up on us when needed. We have a toddler and a baby and she made sure to take care of our food in a timely manner which we really appreciated.

We visited the Rainforest Café in Katy Mills, TX for lunch to celebrate my husband’s and my son’s birthdays, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! The location was easy to find, and since we made a reservation ahead of time, we were seated right away. This was a pleasant surprise since I’ve usually had to wait at other Rainforest Café locations around the country. Our server, Toni, was OUTSTANDING! She was so kind and patient with our kids, especially with my son who was a little scared of the gorilla near our table. Toni took the time to answer all our menu questions and checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. She truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was just as lively and fun as we remembered. The highlight of our meal was when the team brought out the Volcano dessert and sang happy birthday to my boys, which was such a joyful and sweet moment! We left with full bellies and big smiles. I highly recommend this Rainforest Café and will definitely return the next time our travels take us back to Katy!

We went for lunch on a weekday, so it was almost entirely empty. I think that worked out well so it wasn’t so overwhelming for a toddler! Our server was so kind, and our food was delicious. I do think it is crazy expensive, but it tasted so good and the experience was so fun for my kid that I think it was worth it.

We had another amazing experience at Rainforest Cafe in Katy Mills! We came to celebrate two special birthdays—my son’s 18th and my daughter’s 25th—and as always, this place made it truly memorable. We’ve made it a tradition to celebrate our birthdays here because the food is consistently delicious, the ambiance is fun and unique, and we always look forward to the energetic birthday song that brings so much joy! A big shoutout to our hostess Syoriah, who was absolutely wonderful—so kind, attentive, and personable. She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. We loved everything we ordered: the Awesome Appetizer is a must, the quesadillas,beef lava nachos, ribs, steaks, and shrimp trio were all cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And the New Volcano Cake? Total showstopper and such a hit with everyone! Even the manager came by and was incredibly nice, adding to the warm and welcoming experience. Thank you, Rainforest Cafe, for always making our celebrations extra special. We’ll definitely be back again soon! ❤️

This was a good overall experience. We enjoyed our time and the kids had a blast. Honestly you are paying for the experience more than the food so thats what I cared about. The whole room is set up to feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest and it really is cool. The kid's were so excited and loved watching the sky on the ceiling, and the animals. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating. A woman was working there who did balloon animals (freelance) and she was amazing. The stuff she made was really really cool! It was one of the highlights of our trip. If you go and she's there I highly recommend. The kid's meals were a good price and had a fair amount of food depending on the appetite of your kids. The two younger kids had food left over and were very full. My oldest nephew (8) was still hungry when he finished his plate. The adult food is a bit over priced but it was good. There wasnt really anything life changing about the food but it wasn't terrible either. It was somewhere in the middle, but again, we didnt specifically go for the food.

I have not been to Rainforest Cafe in ages. And I forgot how much the littles love it. The ambiance is enough to bring you out at least once. When my older children were younger we went often. The inside is decorated to the extreme. Apes. Monkeys. Birds. The ceiling has a sky that changes. Every hour there is a lightning storm and the lights dim and create a storm. The service was good. We only had the nachos because we were just popping in to experience the ambiance and have a snack.

Toni was great! Very friendly and helpful, although service could be a little slow at times even though we went when it wasn’t busy. I was pleasantly surprised by the food! I got the blackened fish tacos and my friend got the appetizer platter and bother were very good.

Rainforest Cafe is always a fun experience. The rainforest elements are always interesting and cool. The food had good flavor and the dining area was clean. Our server disappeared for a good amount of time after we got our food. Would have been nice to get some refills. The food is a little pricey, but the experience is fun. Will be back again!

While this wasn't my first time to eat at one of these locations it was for my wife and she was excited to try it. The atmosphere was typical for the chain, but still looked good since it had been "refreshed" not long ago. The service was good and better than at the other locations I've tired. But the food was not impressive at all given the price. My wife liked her seafood combo and my Cobb salad was decent enough, but not "spectacular" or "outstanding" in any way and blatantly overpriced. While the overall experience wasn't bad it is highly doubtful we will consider eating here in the future.

Rainforest Cafe is such a fun, unique dining experience, especially for kids. The jungle-themed decor, animatronic animals, and occasional “thunderstorms” make it exciting. Food is tasty—we enjoyed the burgers and pasta. Prices are a bit high, but you’re paying for the atmosphere too. Great place for family outings and celebrations.

We visited Rainforest Cafe in Katy in summer 2025 and had a generally positive experience, earning 4 stars. The immersive atmosphere is truly a highlight, particularly for families with children. Our waitress, Syorian, was very kind and pleasant, though service was a bit slow, likely due to it being peak time. This suggests a need for additional staffing to keep up with demand. The chicken wrap appetizer was a standout – very tasty and a surprisingly large portion. For my main, I ordered the Amazon burger. While decent, the burger patty was unfortunately a bit burnt, which isn't to my liking. It would be a significant improvement if servers proactively asked about desired meat doneness. Addressing these minor points could easily elevate this to a 5-star rating.

Food was rather unpleasant. My fish and chips were incredibly rubbery and tasted like nothing. Not even lemon or sauce could fix it. My friend’s steak ribs and shrimp was simply okay. Steak was dry and was barely seasoned. The ribs were super greasy. The shrimp was mainly batter. My friend’s jerk chicken pasta was horrible, sauce was watery, and chicken was very bland. He barely touched his food. Myself and the friend with the steak ate the food mainly due to it being too much money to let go to waste. Service was pretty good! Our waitress Toni handled the cost of the pasta and overall she was great!

Kids love this place for the ambience and the animatronics, they go through day and night in a animated loop set with storms and animal sounds. Unfortunately, we were unlucky this time we visited. Service wasn't attentive. we waited about 20 minutes to get a waitress taking our order, 35 minutes for the food, and more to ask for the check. My order was an "Anaconda pasta with chicken" The chicken was good, but the pasta was very overcooked. Please do better.

if i could give them 0 i would. the food was decent but the manager rude as hell. The waiter messed up our payment and ran mine and another random customers card. So $97 was taken from my card and my bank NOT PENDING and he got mad at me and an attitude. He also ran my card again for $146 and said my bank will figure out the refund.
