Overflow Coffee

As a very frequent customer (4+ times a week), I cannot recommend Overflow enough! My drinks are always consistently delicious. They have a great assortment of drinks, so I never get bored! They are reasonably priced. Most importantly, the staff is very kind.

We stopped here after hiking Mt Konocti, and it hit the spot! We had seasonal specials: a cold brew with pumpkin foam and a Red Bull apple cinnamon lemonade. Both tasted so good! To top it off, the team was friendly and the service quick. Would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area and in need of a pick-me-up!!

I wanted one of their seasonal drinks but hot instead of cold, and the barista was absolutely incredible. She was so sweet and went above and beyond, helping me create a hot version of the drink and even tracking down some food when she thought they were out. She warmed up a croissant for me as well. Truly 11/10 service, all with a genuine smile.

Awesome coffee drive-through outside of Kelseyville, near the school. Not sure how this got built here but so glad to find it. They sourced great beans and brew them very well.

I wanted one of their seasonal drinks, but I wanted it Hot, not cold, the barista was incredible and so sweet today! Like usual but EXTRA, worked with me to create an equivalent hot drink and even found some food for me when she thought the store was out, and heated me up a croissant. 11/10 service with a smile!

The staff is wonderful and always so friendly. They are extremely patient with those of us that don't drink coffee very often and may sometimes need some guidance 🙂 I know that I could save so much just buying bottles of cold, Starbucks coffee from Costco but I just enjoy the service and the convenience so much 🙂 It helps to get my morning started.

This is a drive thru coffeehouse. The employees here are always friendly. Coffee & fraps & smoothies are yummy. They offer pupacinos for your pets. My dog loves to go there & get a pupacino..pupacinos are a little cup with whipped cream in it. Everytime I go there my coffee always tastes the same. I don't like getting coffee from someplace & it never tastes the same. They are really great about NOT putting drizzle in the cup or onto of the whip when I order a sugar free frap. I order sugar free for a reason. Great place to get coffee. They do have soy & coconut milk options.9

I wish I could give more stars for Overflow Coffee! Such fantastic customer service along side quality products. So impressed with the team they’ve built and how awesome every employee I’ve ever interacted with there has been! I’m not a coffee drinker but my partner is so it’s great to have a place we can both find something good.

The hot chocolate for my girls was good though. Haven't tried pastries or been back since just because we don't pass through much but might give another try once back in town. Who knows maybe I love it next trip!(: Again, the service was wonderful and girls were so sweet!

But within the last few weeks the quality has not been great. Yesterday I went and got a white mocha and a hot chocolate for my sister and she said her hot chocolate was completely whipped cream and tasted watered down. My mocha was just hot milk. I like more coffee in drinks than cream, so this was a pretty disappointing surprise I didn’t want to make a review like this, but when I usually used to go in the afternoons a few weeks ago I always got great service, great coffee, and it made me want to come back for more. I haven’t seen the usual girls there that worked in the afternoons, they were sisters I think they told me one time. But they always made fantastic drinks so I just hope that the girls that I’m seeing now can get some constructive criticism from this review because I only want them to succeed.

This place was amazing but due to some ridicoulus reasons they are only open until 4 which means no coffee after "work hours" and to ad insult to injury they close at 1 on Sundays smh I've spent thousands of dollars here and was going everyday for years. Small town buisnesses that close before 8 need to step out of the 1800s some of us work all hours and would enjoy some coffee. Please change your hours back to 7 and Sundays should be 6, so people like myself can give you our damn money smh this is seriously ridiculous !

If I could give zero stars, I would. The person taking my order wasn’t paying attention, and my drinks were made incorrectly. I ordered three drinks, but only one was made the way I wanted. The other two were supposed to be blended but were completely melted and the wrong flavors. When I went back to address the issue and let them know I didn’t want the drinks because I wouldn’t enjoy them, I was met with a rude response, saying, “They aren’t frappes.” I’m well aware of that, but I order these drinks regularly and have never experienced such poor quality.

I got a smoothie & a pumpkin pie blended coffee, the smoothie just tasted like frozen fruit blended with milk (no sweetener or anything) toddler did not approve neither did I. The pumpkin pie didn’t taste as pleasant as well, I recommend Jeeter bean!!!!

It really pains me to write this review, but it's very much over due. But today was the cherry on top of all this annoyance. For background, for about a year, I would visit Overflow 2x a day. Once in the morning for a Redbull or coffee, then again in the late afternoon for a Soda Infusion, and on the weekends I'd get drinks for the whole family. The girls were all very kind, and I never had issues with my drinks. Except the weekends, Sundays in particular. The drinks were never consistent. The espresso tasted old and bitter, and without fail, they would always forget to add whipped cream to my kids' drinks, or forget to add flavors to Redbulls. So I just stuck to them Mon-Fri. Then, they hired new girls, and I started to experience the same inconsistencies during the week that I had experienced on weekends. One incident in particular still actually pisses me off to this day, is getting a soda infusion, and it exploding 4 different times before she even handed it to me. The 5th attempt drink she gave me exploded all over me and soaked through my car seat covers (which I had to replace) and stained my car seat. Since then, if it was not the usual girls working, I would ask for domed lids to give some extra space in case the drinks would overflow (lol), but they never would accommodate, and drinks would still end up messy (luckily never as bad as that one time, but I'm pretty sure they were just shaking the drinks to mix or swirling too hard and it was causing the drinks to explode). So I vowed only to return when certain employees were working. Ended up not going for a few months because I was just so irritated. I recently started going back, and the same girls still make the same great drinks and they really are the best and so kind. But Monday, I went to get a float for my daughter who lost her tooth and asked for whipped cream on it- to make it special for her. The girl forgot, no biggie (but would it hurt to read the cup when making a drink?? This is such a common occurrence). Today, I ordered a drink, and was missing cream (not surprised). They added it, no biggie. Went to pay, and she told me the total, but was looking towards the screen, so I couldn't quite hear her, so I handed her some cash and asked what the total was- because I have so much change in my car. She's like "oh, you gave me enough." I was like, "yes, but can I give you some change so I can get a bill back instead of a bunch of coins?" She legit looked like a deer in the headlights... was so confused. I had to sit there and explain it to her and was just like "nevermind." She can't make change or figure out basic math without a computer telling her?? Can't read a cup when making a drink?? Makes you wonder what the requirements for hire even are. So... it's safe to say, I won't be returning, not that anyone cares, but just felt the need to get all this off my chest.
