This was absolutely worth the hour long wait! Pro tip- just walk around the dock and enjoy the view. Most burger experiences I have are forgettable- this was not. I’ve been dreaming of having another one of their smash burgers again! It was juicy and flavorful. The price was typical, if not low, for Miami. The view was beautiful and the service was fantastic. I cannot wait to return. This is a great casual date spot :)

Beautiful views of the Downtown miami on the bay and an incredible atmosphere elevated not just by Cecilia Cruz’s music, but by the genuine hospitality and talent of people like Matias, D, and Nicole (Hialeah, where you at?!?!). This place is a refreshing break from the sea of honestly mediocre spots in Miami. They care here. The cocktails are dialed in, the food was phenomenal, the oysters, the burgers the key lime were FIRE!!!! and one more time shout out to homegrown Hialeah talent. What else could you ask for?

Jesse is the very best he was our waiter and will come again for his attitude and Friendly attitude. Food was Excellent and served well. A true hidden treasure.

We are here working the Formula One race on tour and stopped by Gramps Getaway. The food was absolutely outstanding. Justin and Grace did a fantastic job taking care of us. I recommend the ceviche, the oysters and the blackened fish sandwich. I surprisingly devoured all three and am leaving so satisfied. You may walk up to the oyster bar and see Eli shucking them live in front of you. Great experience.

My husband and I came for the first time ever. We were trying to find a place near where we live in Miami. We typed in Key Biscayne and this was one of the locations that came out. I am so so happy this came up because I had the time of my life. It felt like I was in Key West and the atmosphere was amazing. The food the drinks the service was out of this world. Bianca and Zack where are bartenders and they went above and beyond to make everybody at this bar feel welcome. Will definitely return on a weekly basis. This is definitely a gem and we are glad we found it. *** Returned during the weekday. Happy hour was outstanding. The Bartenders Nicole and Nikki were super sweet. So happy we found this place.

Haven’t been here in years but came back for HH and it did not disappoint. Our server Jessie (not 100% sure how to spell his name) was incredible, great attitude the entire time. The crew cleaning up tables was very attentive and nice. Can’t wait to be back

Great new spot located in the marina right by the causeway. This bar has amazing views and an extensive bar menu with great frozen drinks. There are plenty of dock spaces if you want to come by boat. The servers were very friendly and the vibes were great! There isn’t much food available besides a hotdog from the bar or oysters/ceviche/ lobster rolls from the Lazy Oyster. We had an awesome evening enjoying our Pina coladas and the sunset! I think drinks are reasonably priced with frozens at $12 and beers $5-7. I will definitely be coming back here! I do wish they expand on their food options :)

Gramps Getaway is an absolute gem in Miami. Best smashburgers and fries around, hands down. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, the service is awesome, and pricing is very reasonable—especially during happy hour. It’s also festive during the holidays, and Christmas is definitely on here! Great spot in Biscayne with some awesome lobster rolls. They have two types, one warm and one cold. The cold was incredibly refreshing on a really warm day with a great amount of lobster on soft toasted buns. We also had a chicken sandwich that was incredibly flavorful with an almost Indian-esque flavor profile. The piña colada was also really solid. Great place for some awesome food in a good location with a boat yard right next to it making for some interesting sights.

The perfect spot to round out a beach day. Came in on a Saturday early afternoon to catch the Copa America game and some bites The waterfront view is hard to beat. Sweeping view that never gets old. Literally Selection of food is limited. But has the necessities to get you fed. If you’re looking for stuff on the healthier side, you’re limited to the charred broccoli salad and ceviche.. the rest is fried bar food style stuff (except the oysters!) Surprisingly, the charred broccoli salad was delicious! Not even the biggest fan of broccoli and loved it. Nearly half the crew ended up getting the same thing afterwards Fish in the ceviche was fresh.. portion could have been bit bigger Valet parking makes everything easier and smooth

I went for the cafe. Jasilienn and company in the back are making quality unique baked goods. I got the maple bacon egg and cheese croissant and this tomato pasty thing. Both were great. Coffee fresh made right there Half inside half outside with great views of the city Worth visiting

This is my new favorite spot for some drinks and food with a view! The drinks were delicious! We ordered the Cucumber in Paradise, Mango Verde, and the Ube Painkiller. The staff are all so fun and attentive. My friend spilled her water and within 30 seconds they literally cleaned it up so fast! The staff exceeded my expectations with how they handle things around the restaurant. I will definitely be returning and telling everyone I know about this hidden gem!

For food, I ordered the Blackened Daily Catch. It was an absolutely delicious plate—the fish was fresh, cooked to perfection with a fantastic blackened crust, and seasoned beautifully. A home run. In summary: incredible views, world-class service from Nicole, top-shelf drinks, and delicious food. If your on a boat, docking is available. Gramps Getaway isn't just a bar; it's a destination. The food and service at Gramps Getaway is great. Dani was our amazing server, very friendly, and very helpful and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff was great as well. The key lime pie is a must! Our other delicious favorites include the lobster roll, Key West jumbo shrimp cocktail, blackened fish sandwich, spare ribs, and yes, they have espresso! We are looking forward to our next visit for their happy hour, M-F from 4-7.

Great spot. Cool vibes. Amazing food. We went there with a bunch of friends and everyone ordered something different so we got to try several of their appetizers and entrees. Everything was so good! The service and the cocktails backed it up. We travel a lot and get to go to some really great places but for a while now I’ve been underwhelmed by the experience. This place was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend a waterside sunset at Gramps.

Food very good, drinks amazing. Recommend the prawns. Good bar with the drinks at good price. Only complaint is that the food is a little expensive and the beer is a little small. Other than that everything else was great

It also wasn’t very filling and honestly I probably could have eaten two of them. We also ordered the crab dip and that was easily the star of the show. It was spicy, had a nice kick, and we completely devoured it. The conch fritters were okay, but they didn’t compare to the crab dip. The drinks were good and paired well with everything. Overall, the ambiance, service, and food made for a really fun experience. We had a great time and I’d definitely come back.

The apps were good crab dip, conch fritters and shrimp cocktail. I only liked 1 out of the 3 drinks we got Pina colada isn't frozen. Honestly it was a bit pricey..... but crab dip was the best and the rosemary drink!! Nice view as well

I have been coming here for several years and in the past always had a great experience. My family was visiting for the holidays out of town and we made sure to preemptively make reservations 1-2 months in advance for numerous restaurants. When we arrived we were told the reservation did not exist and when I even offered to split the group up they told us it was not possible because it would take away from the experience. Something strange is going on and I won’t be returning anytime soon. Terrible service, half decent food and atmosphere…

You have to be out of your mind to pay $7 parking and $3.25 tall. This use to be a nice place. But $7 parking weekday. $16 a hotdog. Locos pal carajo. No receipt or ticket for parking . Crazy. Use to be a nice place, not pricey, but now they think this is fancy restaurant. Loquitos.

Really disappointed with our experience here. We were excited to try this place, but it ended up being frustrating from start to finish. First, they didn’t have at least half of the beer options listed on their menu available. What’s the point of offering a wide selection if you can’t actually serve it? On top of that, the overall food menu felt very limited with not many options to choose from. To make things more confusing, there were two different menus floating around that showed two different prices for the same items. That’s unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to guess which price is correct. What really sealed the deal for me was the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill for a party of just four people. There was no heads-up, and for a small group, that feels excessive—especially when the experience wasn’t great. Between the limited availability, inconsistent pricing, and surprise gratuity, we won’t be returning.
