We had a fantastic experience at The Cooperage tonight. Even though it was incredibly busy, the service never missed a beat. The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were just as great—well-made and delicious. A special shoutout to the manager, Sonia, who took the time to come by and check on us despite how hectic the night was. That extra attention really made us feel welcome. Can’t wait to come back!

One of my absolute favorite meals in Walnut Creek is their ahi tuna appetizer. High protein. Fresh. Excellent every time I order (which is every week!) Love sitting at the bar— bartenders Miles and Sandy make the experience perfect. Highly recommend The Coop!!!

We went for lunch at the Cooperage American Grille yesterday and it was a great experience. We were greeted with a smile from the host and provide us with a covered outside table. Our waitress, Jennifer, couldn't have been nicer. She did make us feel rushed and took her time to explain the menu items. We selected the Salmon entrees and with veggies. The chef did a great job, cooking the fish to our liking. The staff here is friendly and professional. The sitting has a very comfortable vibe and is open and airy. They have a full bar and great selection of wine, in addition to the food menu. Another plus is the location. You are steps away from parking and Walnut Creek shopping. Coming here made a great day even better. We will definitely be back!

Cool place with great wine tasting lunches on wednesdays! Better than going to wine country! Silver oak/twomey started with ceviche and perfectly paired sauvi b. 2nd course was delicious mushroom risotto followed by lamb lollipop! Paired with 2 different Pinot Noirs. Grand finale chocolate cake with the Silver Oak! And u can buy the wine by the case at a steep discount!

Really fresh, tasty dishes with a wide variety of choices available. Service is usually excellent here. Due to table placement and hard floors, the restaurant is noisy, so it is hard to converse easily while dining.

First time coming here with my husband and our friend, and I can tell you that it was worth it coming here. The food was so delicious and the service was fenomenal. Our waitress was so sweet and nice to us and always check on us to make sure we were doing good.

We had an amazing experience at The Cooperage in WC! We started with the burrata for an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. For mains, I had the pasta bolognese, and my wife ordered the ahi tuna—both dishes were outstanding. For drinks, we tried the Garden Elixir and Bee’s Knees, and they were perfect. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, even though they were hosting a work party at the time, service was fast and efficient, and our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, we were so impressed with the food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We had a great time on our first visit to Cooperage. The service was attentive. We had a couple of their gin and tonics. They no longer offer a flight to taste all the gin and tonics they offer, but definitely the place to go if this is your go to beverage. Our party had a variety of offerings from the menu. French toast, burger with fries, fish tacos, brussel sprouts salad, and the grilled chicken salad. Everything was delicious and came out exactly as ordered.

Had an amazing experience ✨️ we came in a few weeks ago with a large party and we were well taken care of by the staff! Patient and attentive, not to mention the cocktails were fantastic and the food delicious! The decor and ambiance is unique and inviting. Recommending to everyone and looking forward to returning. A nice addition to downtown Walnut Creek ☺️

I would like to rate the food better and what I had actually ( the chicken pot pie) was surprisingly delicious. My friend ordered the eggplant parmesan which was the strangest version of that dish I have ever seen. Rather than slice them thinly lengthwise, they cut these thick rounds. She couldn't even cut them without her silverware flying off on the floor. We also ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer, and it was very bland. It needed way more balsamic, or some sort of flavoring. Pretty much just like roasted leaves with salt on them. So, if this place improves the food quality, I would definitely go back more often. The atmosphere is upscale and nice, but it was very noisy when we were there for dinner period there was a table next to us.They were drinking too much wine, and they were facing us and shouting at the tops of their lungs to each other, and we couldn't hear each other think or talk. And with the floors being concrete and no soundproofing, the whole place was a loud restaurant. When you're paying that much for dinner, I would like a nicer, quieter atmosphere.
